• Richard (6/5): - Negative: - no sign on the property informing that this a bed and breakfast establishment. The front side looks like a barn. The entrance is rather neglected; - the bedroom was on a second floor and washroom was on the first floor to which you had to use spiral, slippery stairs. This place is not for older people or young children. The fridge was located on the first floor and you had to go down to grab a drink; - the bedroom had no chair, table or TV - total lack of PRIVACY! Positive: - beautiful view of Georgian Bay from the deck; - good breakfast; A/C in the room

• Helen (4/5): - The B&B is located overlooking Georgian Bay, with an outdoor deck and a fantastic view. There is a rocky beach but the hosts were not very encouraging about swimming there. There is a swimming beach not far from here. Parking at the B&B is easy to access. The entire property feels worn and needing some TLC. There are three guest bedrooms, one on the main floor and two on the second floor. The rooms are all a good size, with comfortable beds. The bedroom on the first floor has a bar fridge, but there isn't one in the rooms on second floor. There was a second bar fridge in the corridor on the first floor. Only the first floor bedroom has a television, plus one in the large living room that was being used by the hosts. The second floor is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase and felt unsafe to use. Anyone with any walking issues would probably not be able to use the stairs with any ease. There are two washrooms, a full sized one with a good sized shower and a powder room, both on the first floor. They are shared by all the guests (up to possibly 12 people) plus the two hosts. There is no bathroom on the second floor, so should you require to use one in the middle of the night, you must descend using the narrow spiral staircase. The property is a B&B, so includes breakfast. The food was acceptable, albeit nothing fancy. We were served omelets, but unfortunately the onions and other vegetables were not cooked. The coffee was good and there was lots of fruit and juice.
• Michelle (8/5): - Good: - The property is right on the Dyers Bay waterfront, with beautiful views from the living room and balcony. - You can walk right down to the bay. I even went swimming right behind the house. - Our room was huge, with a queen bed, dresser, mini fridge, full sized couch, reading chair, and a glass-top table with 4 chairs. The TV was bigger than me! - Warren and Janet are very friendly and helpful, and have lots of local knowledge. Bad: - The breakfast was nice enough (if you're OK with Wonder Bread and fake butter), but for reasons I cannot imagine, they make guests eat off disposable paper plates and use disposable wood cutlery, including knives that can't cut through a pancake! At $250/night, I expect real dishes and silverware. In fact, this has never happened at any B&B I've stayed at. It really diminished the experience for me. - Shared bathrooms are not ideal, but they are clear about that in their description.

We really just needed a place to sleep as we were out mostly, but this was much more than just a bed and breakfast.

Lovely home, clean & beautiful. The breakfast was great, plenty of choices and you don’t walk out hungry but ready for the day! Don’t miss the view!

• Judith (8/5): - The only un-ideal aspect was the steep, spiral, open stairs with rope bannister to our bedroom on the second floor with bathrooms on first floor. Hosts kindly offered us accommodation at another site, but after a long day of travel that wasn't desirable. This challenge to accessibility should possibly be noted in advertisement. Otherwise, a lovely facility and hosts with excellent breakfast.
• Janice (8/5): - Enjoyed our 2 night stay here - our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfasts were very good. Nice setting overlooking Georgian Bay, about 30 minutes from Tobermory. A bit dated and shared bath, but otherwise comfortable.

• Zune Thuydung (10/5): - Our room was cozy and quiet, it just didn’t look down the lake but we could walk to the deck with no problem. The house is super clean and well maintained. It’s along the lake shore, the way down to the lake is a lil bit steep, you just need to be careful not to roll down. The owners are the nicest I’ve ever stayed with with great instruction and recommendations. However phone signals are kind of weak in this area, wifi in our room was a bit slow too, but if you’re not that type who plays with the phone for hours like my husband there shouldn’t be any problem. Outside of our bedroom had better wifi. From here to Tobermory is around 30 minutes or 20 minutes to Bruce National Park. I highly recommend this place as a quiet, clean, friendly stay with affordable price.

• Nishtha (10/5): - The property location was just breathtaking - and it was just 25 mins from Tobermory. And to make it even better, the BnB was simply gorgeous! The hosts were super helpful and nice - they even gave us tips on what we can explore the next day and how we can reach there. Also, the rooms, washrooms, and the entire property was really very clean and organized. And the breakfast was yummy :) I think anyone who is visiting Tobermory should not miss the opportunity of staying here.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Please know that accommodations in this area are VERY limited. However, I want others to know this: much of the sleeping quarters are up a tight, spiral staircase with a poorly supported rope hand "guide" on one side. You sleep upstairs in one of two bedrooms, or an additional bedroom on the lower level. There is one shower shared by all 3 rooms (potentially as many as 10 (? 5 beds) people, and a second powder room shared by all, both on the lower level. It is not feasible (unsafe) for older travelers that might have to use the facilities during the night. The night we stayed, there were 3 quiet couples, but I can't even imagine what it would've been like with children in residence. The hosts are pleasant, but I can't recommend this B&B.

• William (6/5): - Mixed feelings. First surprise was challenges in checking in. After we booked, we were told we had to specify time of arrival, which we mis-estimated. Then the bedroom is up a very steep twisty circular slippery staircase that we felt unsafe on. The bathrooms are shared. On the plus side, the view of tbe bay is spectacular and the hosts are friendly

• Verified traveler (4/5): No A/C - We stayed on the second floor. There was no A/C. Room temp was too high to sleep during all night even if the ceiling fan and standing fan ran. I couldn't sleep well enough. They were kind and tried to give us better service, but I don't want to imagine the night anymore without A/C.

• Brian (4/5): - Location: GREAT superb views across Dyers/Georgian Bay from the living room. Property: Lack of both curb appeal & character, dated decor. Inadequate facilities. Easy off street parking. Hosts: Very friendly, chatty and helpful. Breakfast: OK with limited options except fruit. Paper plates and plastic cutlery were disappointing and not acceptable today! Other: Narrow spiral staircase makes it hard to get large luggage up or down. Host was good to offer help. Bathrooms only on ground level hence nigh time visits you have to negotiate the narrow spiral stairs!

• Jasmyn (10/5): - The owners were friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating for breakfast time slot and vegetarian options. The B&B was extremely clean and spacious. The only critique is that the 2 shared bathrooms are on the main floor and the stairs going up to the 2 rooms are winding and narrow. However, the owner carried our bags up and we didn't mind the stairs while we were there because everything is so spacious and quiet. Very relaxing and the views are absolutely stunning over the Bay. Another couple stayed at the same time but the property is so big we didn't even notice them. If stairs are an issue just ask to stay on the main floor bedroom. I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed sitting out on the water the first evening we arrived. The room we stayed in was spacious with room to organize our things, the bed was really comfortable and we fell asleep listening to the waves. We’ll be back for sure, thank you!
• Martha (6/5): - Hosts were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit yogurt coffee, not sure about the omelette. I got a room in the second floor and there is no bathroom in that floor. Stairs are not easy to climb so it was a struggle to go up and down the stairs even to go to the bathroom. No air conditioning and it was really hot. They had two fans in the room but when it's like 30 degrees even with the fans it is just to hot.

Would highly recommend if you don't mind driving the extra mile, especially if you want to wake up with a view on the water.

The house is next to the lake so you could enjoy the tide sound on the balcony and in the dining room. Breakfast was nice and with many healthful and fresh fruits. Although the bathrooms were shared with other guests during our stay, the hosts made a lot of efforts to maintain their cleanliness, and frequently did sanitation works. The bed was comfortable, and our stay was enjoyable.

• Wai (8/5): - Perfect for a person seeking inspiration from nature. The soothing sound from the lake ensures a restful night. The view from the deck is mesmerizing. If shared-bathroom does not bother you, this place is an ideal rest stop.
• jennifer (8/5): - This is the curest little motel I've ever stayed in. It's owned by a husband and wife who obviously take great pride in taking care of it. It was very clean. Very well maintained and definitely had a lot of extra touches in the decor. The only things we disliked was that there was no access to ice or food after 4 or 5 in the afternoon.

• MICHAEL (4/5): A/C lacking - There was no air conditioning in the room, only in the common area controlled by the ever lurking manager Warren. The shared washroom was inconvenient. The walk down to the water is treacherous with no stairs or handrail . Breakfast was ok. I cannot recommend this property.Although the cottage itself is pretty.
