We had housekeeping staff check in with us every night to ask if we needed anything, giving extra waters and a good night chocolate. Property is very clean and rooms were very quiet. They arranged transportation for us to the airport and our driver was one of the friendliest people we encountered. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens, the beautiful views add to the enjoyment.

We also dined at rooftop at Grande Bretagne, and Electra’s views of the Acropolis, service and fresh catch of the day were far better than GB Roof garden. Highly recommend staying here and experiencing best of Athens.

The hotel is very nice and the view from the restaurant at the Acropolis is outstanding. The buffet breakfast was also pretty good. Location is great, very central, and very clean as expected. Rooftop pool is also great to relax after a long day walking around the city. They also have a good spa.

- Sandra (10/5): Wonderful Stay at the Electra Metropolis - We had a wonderful stay at the Electra Metropolis. The location is fantastic with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance in the Plaka neighborhood. You can also walk to the Acropolis) and we ordered our tickets in advance to avoid the line. The highlight for us was the rooftop bar / restaurant with incredible views of the Acropolis lat night and in the morning. There is also a rooftop pool. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and you could sit inside or outside. We arranged pickup from the airport through the hotel beforehand which made getting to the hotel stress-free.

Rooftop restaurant, lounge, pool with a close up and stunning view of the acropolis from every table. Excellent restaurant. I researched and researched for the best hotel and I was thrilled.

- ELEFTHERIOS (10/5): - Great location and high standards hotel. They do look after the regular customers as we were flying out of Athens at 11pm and they were kind enough - despite they were nearly booked out- to move us to another room on our check out day so we can have the room till 6pm.

- Andreas Martin (10/5): Great location with best Acropolis view - Central location, nice setup, comfortable room, and a beautiful restaurant on the 10th floor with the best and unmatched view onto the acropolis! For dinner, it provided an eclectic selection of dishes, maybe not entirely classic Greek, but simply wonderful. Not able to name every single item, but the apricot soup was magnificent, the Greek salad on point, and the octopus carpaccio and the burrata were exceptionally appealing – both visually and on the taste buds. For breakfast there was a beautiful buffet which was rich and offered many choices, but did not totally match the comparison with the sister hotel, Electra Palace, in Thessaloniki or the Domes Resorts.

- Mark (8/5): - We stayed 3 nights. The location is great in the middle of city center. The bellmen service is top notch,. When we arrived they greated us at our taxi, delivered our bags and one staff member in particular, I think Vagelis, was extremely helpful when we need to store our bags and got us a taxi to leave. Room was nice, housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was very good as well. I'm leaving a 4 star because the pool was a major reason we booked but the pool is extremely small and there's no staff to keep order. Parents were letting their kids splash and throwing pool toys making it unpleasant for adults. The pool is too small to accommodate that. Side note the restaurant is way over priced, you are paying for the views but there are much better views elsewhere in the city.

- Alexandra (10/5): - This location is in the middle of it all! Super-safe area. Walk to restaurants, shopping, attractions, everything. Staff was courteous, helpful and kind. Staff speak both Greek and English and likely other languages. The gym was really lovely, small but with a wide variety of free weights and cardio equipment. The outdoor pool, while a little crowded during the day, was cool and clean. My 10 year old son and I even reserved a couple of hours in the indoor pool (included with our stay and based upon availability) and had the pool all to ourselves. There is also a lovely sauna and steamroom for adults to use. The breakfast buffet was the best I experienced in Greece, and I have visited several times over the years. The bedding was extraordinary as well. Similar to the Westin' 'Heavenly Bed' if not better. Rooms are quiet despite the lively area the hotel is in. We could not have asked for a better hotel in Athens.

The hotel was beautiful, pool and drinks were great, breakfast was awesome and rooms were spacious and cool. Great stay would definitely come back. They helped with all transportation including to our cruise port.
