- T1512DH_ (4/5): Beautiful hotel, but fundamental plumbing issues ruined our stay - For the price, the location is fair (10 minutes to the end of the Red Line). Our room on the 2nd floor was clean and spacious for the family, and the staff was friendly. However, we were very disappointed. The biggest issue was that our toilet clogged every day. It was gross and unacceptable. On the day we checked out, I even tried to use the public toilet downstairs, and one of the toilets there was clogged too! I informed the receptionist upon checking out, but I haven’t heard anything back. Also, the shower water was quite cold and wouldn't heat up properly. The hotel looks pretty, but the basic necessities were not met.:-(

- Jennifer (5/5): Nicely set up hotel but just doesn't function well. - Good geographic location for my purposes. Room is good size. Nice size shower with low water pressure. Big windows. I like the free coffee and fruit water in the lobby. "Heated" pool is cold. I was there for a week earlier this year and again lately and both times the supposedly heated pool was freezing. The workout room was freezing one day and stifling hot another day. The pool and workout room were unusable. The floor of my room was weirdly bubbled up. One towel had make up on it and clearly had not been washed--who knows about the others, blech. Found a fellow guest wander the floor with her ice bucket--no ice despite signs for hydration station. It's a weird hotel. Nicely set up but then just doesn't work well. Who is in charge?

- Dario (7/5): Cómodo y bien situado - Bien situado cerca de la estación de tren de Alewife para ir al centro de Boston o al aeropuerto. La habitación muy cómoda y amplia. El desayuno está bien y el comedor es amplio y agradable. El personal muy amable, correcto y eficiente. El ruido. La nevera de la habitación hacía ruido. La teníamos que apagar por las noches. También se oía ruido de la calle y de la ventilación del pasillo. Tener que dejar propina para la camarera de piso y en el desayuno. Sería mejor pagar bien a los empleados. El microondas de la planta donde estábamos no funcionaba ningún día y ni lo arreglaron ni lo cambiaron después de decírselo.

- J5707VCmichaelf (4/5): Parking fees are insane. - Room was fine and clean but some floor boards are bubbled up and this is a pretty new hotel. They charge $30 (per night!) for parking on top of hotel fees, which is ridiculous since there's really no other way you're going to arrive and stay here. Yes, the Alewife T is nearby but who arrives with luggage by the T? You also find out about this fee upon arrival and it's too late. Staff is nice and friendly but I'll stay elsewhere where parking is included next time.

- cocorosi (2/5): Overpriced Breakfast, Cold “Heated” Pool - I left pretty disappointed with this stay. The breakfast buffet is $21, but the options were very limited and absolutely not worth the price. It felt overpriced for what you actually get. The hotel also advertises a heated pool, but the pool is tiny and genuinely cold, so it wasn’t usable or relaxing like we expected.

Upon check-in the front desk informed us they had none of these room types available so they generously gave us two rooms, each with a queen bed. Rooms are spacious and clean. Easy access to the red line. Jim Denton at the front desk was wonderful and very accommodating.

- Christian (6/5): - Wir sind nachts um 1 eingetroffen und fühlten uns trotz später Stunde sehr willkommen. Jim, der Nachtportier, ist absolute spitze! Es ist kein Vergnügen zu frühstücken, wenn dort über Lautsprecher laut und ohne jegliche Rücksichtnahme telefoniert wird. Gleiches hat sich vom selben Gast im Lounge Bereich wiederholt. Andere Hotels weisen ihre Gäste freundlich darauf hin, dass das nicht erwünscht ist. Hier wurde es toleriert, sodass ich den Gast selber bitten musste etwas leiser zu sein. Ohne Erfolg. In der Nacht war es etwas kalt, da wäre eine dickeres Oberbett nötig gewesen. Eine zusätzliche Decke war nicht im Zimmer vorhanden. Für mich leider ein Grund beim nächsten Mal woanders zu buchen.

Fortunately, staff could explain where to leave the car - although it was inconvenient to find temporary parking and then to go in and ask about it first! Room was okay, standard hotel room. About ten minutes walk to the train station, with easy access to downtown. Bar was very quiet, with very few great food options - didn’t have basic things, only an odd combination of Mediterranean type snacks. Maria was amazing though. Recommended for location (easy commute to city) and cost.

- ViajeroESQ (10/5): We keep coming back - This hotel is convenient, clean, comfortable and non pretentious. It is close to the Alewife T station which takes you to downtown Cambridge and Boston in 10-20 minutes. We have stayed several times. If the weather is nice you can visit the nearby Alewife Preserve and enjoy nature. It is surrounded by modern office space and you are 20 minutes walking distance of some convenient shopping, groceries and pharmacy. The staff is outstanding, especially Joy. We will keep returning.

- King (9/5): Wonderful stay - I like how accommodating the staff was, front desk clerk was very attentive and offered great recommendations. The location itself was nice very clean. They placed hand written birthday card and some snacks in the room (great personal touch). Parking was right next to hotel which was great since it snowed. The bed though king size was a bit unfortable. Not much support to a plus size person. The food was underwhelming. Ordered a Flatbread and Mac and cheese but it was very small and seemed like it was microwaved. The toilet wasn't very powerful had some trouble that it wasn't flushing. Had to exit the room and go to different floor for microwave.

Pet friendly. Easy parking next door. Option to have breakfast at property. Pool and gym. Had to ask for bedding for sofa bed even though we booked for 2 adults and 2 children. We checked in quite late and the bedding took ages to arrive.
- Ashley (7/5): Not worth the price - Recently built/renovated, beds comfortable Floor was clearly not swept since prior guest, with many crumbs and pieces of who knows what on the floor. There was food spilled in the hallway upon arrival and the same spill was there the next morning when checking out.
- Radu Eugen (9/5): Excellent choice for a short visit to Boston! - The optimal solution for spending a few days in Boston; close to the highway and the Alewife subway station. Friendly interior space and kind staff. Excellent breakfast and always delicious coffee or infused water right at the entrance! Maybe the price of parking near the hotel is a bit exaggerated, but it is the only viable option!
