• Anne (9/5): J'ai passé une très bonne nuit dans cette auberge :) - Auberge vraiment charmante, toute en bois! Tout est vraiment joli et on s'y sent bien ! Seul petit problème (mais que je n'ai pas eu car je devais être la seule dans cette auberge): les murs entre les chambres sont fait de persiennes (en bois donc). Cela peut être problématique si on a des voisins bruyants (qui ronflent fort ou qui hum hum !!!). Tout était parfait. Seul petit regret (un peu honteux) de touriste, c'est que la patronne ne parle pas anglais. Sinon, elle est très gentille, et tout est très bien !

• Hemant (7/5): Extremely cute place, with all your essential needs met. - The location BANG on the river is amazing. The tea/coffee set up is really good especially since you really WANT to have ur morning tea/ coffee with that river view. My wife liked the soft comforters too! The ladies are kind, helpful. One of them doesn't understand English at all, the other does so it's workable. The room is really value for money with an awesome book on Ayuthhaya's history which my wife picked up to read and found it super informative! I think it's like going to stay at your aunt's place during the school break It's a little tired looking property, and the room is a trifle small but it's clean, it's located at an amazing place in terms of railway station, boat station, river view and the price point is very good, so you really can't ask for more! Its very good value for money in my view.

• Chris (8/5): Nice short stay - Very convenient to train station....but the main reason to stay here is the homestay style experience and the lovely verandah that looks out over the river. Very nice to sit there early morning or late afternoon with a drink and a book. The market in the soi outside is great for breakfast but you should try the fried oyster shop just 5 minutes walk up the road...very delicious Not a huge variety of food available around in the evenings

• descos (9/5): Un tres bon séjour - Le personnel était très gentil le chien es impressionnant mais il es gentil. la chambre était très propre tres peu de lumière l'emplacement était bien placé a proximité du bateau pour traverser le chao phraya J'aimerais bien que hotel indique sur une carte les laverie a proximité car c'était très compliqué trouver une laverie la dernière nuit le chien a beaucoup aboyer c'était compliqué pour dormir
• Emil und die D (7/5): Schön gelegen, leider ohne Restaurant - Die Lage des Hotels, direkt am Fluss, ist außerordentlich. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Flussgeschehen. Bahnhof und Flussfähre sind in fußläufiger Entfernung. Im Gegensatz zu früher haben die Serviceleistungen des Hotels schwer nachgelassen: Es gibt kein Restaurant mehr, keinerlei Getränkeangebote. Das Frühstück besteht aus Kaffe bzw Tee. Zum Essen und Trinken ist man auf andere Lokalitäten angewiesen, was sehr schade ist. So verliert die Terrasse einen Großteil ihres Charmes.

• Jennifer (8/5): Gemoedelijk, klein en handig! - Wij gebruikten deze accommodatie om onze koffers neer te zetten en op te frissen voordat we met de nachttrein naar Chiang Mai vertrokken. Het hotel ligt op denk ik 3 minuten lopen van het station en de douche voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Aan de achterzijde heeft het hotel een mooie tuin en zicht op de rivier.

Also next door to a v good restaurant and the River ferry to get you across to the main Ayutthaya island Very friendly owner/staff Room wasn't as "deluxe" as perhaps anticipated from pictures. Fellow visitors were very quiet but this is an old traditional building so there is little if any sound proofing. *The dog howled in the early hours of both nights we stayed disturbing our sleep 😕

• Robbertlaro (7/5): Excellent guesthouse for 1 night when visiting Ayutthaya or when passing through. - Excellent location, very close to the train station. Room was fine and clean, nothing special but good AC and ok bathroom. Free coffee/tea and bananas in the morning on the balcony overlooking the canal. No noise from the train or the road. If you are doing Ayutthaya in a day this would be perfect, you can rent bicycles close by and take the ferry to the city center which is just around the corner. Nothing to complain about. Not the nicest/most beautiful guesthouse, but clean, comfy and with all the things you need.

• Melinda (10/5): Wonderful peaceful setting. - It is such a peaceful and special spot - right next to the ferry crossing and a fabulous riverside restaurant. The stalls lining the street to the station offer plenty of options for breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

• Claire Bargel (10/5): - Sehr uriges Guesthouse im Holzstil mit toller Terrasse direkt am Fluß, der Fähre und der Bahnstation. Fantastischer Preis. Die letzte Fähre fährt um 17 Uhr. Dann kommt man nur noch mit dem TukTuk über den Fluß.

Bicycle and scooter hire very close, and a few cafes/restaurants on the same street. Right on the riverbank, really lovely old teak building. The room wasn't very private, but that's to be expected with these old teak houses. One wall was actually a big window shared with the room next door, with curtains for privacy. We were travelling with our early rising 5 year old and learned our lesson that the teak houses are not ideal for this.

Maison en bois charmante mais , chambre dans laquelle on rentre comme dans un placard. Impossible d y rester avec seulement le fan ..il fait une chaleur intenable.. vous dormez avec vos voisins.. vous entendez absolument tout! Vous entendez aussi les 2 téléphone de la réceptionniste qui regarde des tikrok jusqu'à 22 h à fond. Et le pire un chien attaché en bas qui hurle à la mort toutes les nuits à 5 heures du matin...pendant 15 minutes..quelle tristesse. Nous avons voulu partir à cause de ces nuisances le propriétaire n à rien voulu entendre ..pas du tout arrangeant . 2 WC et salle.de bains pour 20 personnes

• Myrthe (10/5): Very nice homestay - Zeer goed verblijf en al helemaal gezien hetgeen we ervoor betaald hebben. Gastvrouw was enorm vriendelijk en kamer was schoon. Mooi uitzicht op de rivier op het terras. Zeker een aanrader. Eigenlijk niks. Bedden waren wel wat hard, maar dit is de standaard in Thailand en hebben meerdere hotels gehad waar het nog veel erger was.

• YOSHIKI (8/5): もう一度泊まりたいです - 窓がなくて、新鮮な気持ちになれました！ 予定していたチェックイン時間より大幅に遅れてチェックインしてしまいましたが、オーナーはとても優しくむかえてくれました！ ホテルの近くにレンタルバイク、トゥクトゥクがあり、移動には困りませんでした！ 特にありませんが、窓がないので、蚊が入ってきますので虫除けは必須です。

• Iker (9/5): Calidad-precio y limpieza - Perfecta ubicacion, junto a la estacion de tren, ideal para poder tomar el tren nocturno a Chian Mai y poder asearse/descansar antes del viaje nocturno. Establecimiento sencillo, pero con lo básico necesario, habitacion con A/C punto positivo, en la parte trasera hay una terraza cubierta con vistas al río, al lado del muelle del barco que cruza el río. Puntos de alquiler de bicis y motos un poco antes del establecimiento
