- Matthew (10/5): - I had an issue with my booking, but the hotel team (especially Elisabeth) dealt with it perfectly - they were all very friendly and helpful. They ensured I had a great stay. The restaurant & well being facilities were fantastic and the hotel is perfectly situated for hikes and the bus which connects to Vaduz.

Spacious Rooms – The rooms were impressively large, offering plenty of space to unwind. Clean, comfortable, and well-suited for longer stays or families. 3.Average Food – The food was decent but nothing memorable. It covered the basics, but don’t expect gourmet dining — good enough if you’re not too picky.

- Graeme (8/5): - We stayed here on our way from Innsbruck to Switzerland in June 2024. it is in mountains just outside Liechtenstein. It must be a fantastic hotel for skiing as it is right next to ski lift……also told good for hiking. Rooms are brilliant, very high quality, with bathroom robes and a fabulous bathroom and balcony overlooking mountains. Good breakfast. There is a small swimming pool and spa in the basement - this would have been nice except spoiled by drunken Aussies loudly fooling around and drinking cans of beer in swimming pool!

- Charles (10/5): - Best things about this hotel were: 1. The pool & spa area (steam room, sauna); 2. The outdoor hot tub; 3. The included breakfast; 4. The big rabbits in the playground/trampoline area outside. Not to mention the absolutely beautiful landscape, with loads of hiking trails. The hotel is right next to the Sareis chairlift, although we visited out of season (May) so it wasn't working. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely restaurant/bar with shockingly expensive prices as is the Liechtensteiner (and Swiss) way. We loved it.

The hotel has beautiful views and is right next to the cable cars which take you to the top of the stunning mountain. If we know anyone else going to Malbun, we will definitely recommend this hotel.

The downside was the service, as we ordered a drink for the hot tub and was never delivered. Dining in was nice but expensive. Also, one item was delivered to our table still frozen.

- Ron (10/5): - Excellent, friendly, clean, comfortable stay as part of our roadtrip around Europe. Most of the rooms in the hotel are 'twinned' with two double rooms sharing a linked bathroom, so we had twice the amount of space we needed. I thought we were given the wrong room to begin with, but once the above was explained we settled in for a comfortable night. The restaurant is excellent and served excellent food. The only minor issue is that parking is quite limited, and whilst we got a spot right in front of the hotel, there are only about 6 spaces, so we might have had to walk a little if they'd all been occupied. Malbun is pretty small though so it wouldn't have been a long walk.

I got a slight discount when I pointed this out but I came quite a way out of my route as i thought this hotel was supposed to be great. Hot tub closed earlier than advertised. Whole place was just ok. I imagine its location next to the lift is great for skiing, but was pretty average for a stay in summer.
- Melania (10/5): Nice stay - The hotel is located in a small town at 1600 m altitude. The room has a nice view over the mountains. It is a nice, clean room with a balcony. The sink is in the room because the bathroom is small, but that didn't bother us. There is a whirpool available with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and with many options.
- Jan (10/5): Ski resort for non skiers - Beautiful location, very friendly, service minded and competent staff. Nice restaurant with great food. Overall good value for money. We don’t ski, but will be happy to return if/when there is a need for short break travelling between Switzerland, Austria, Germany and/or Italy.

We arrived just as the restaurant was closing, after a long drive it was kind of the staff to prepare us some food and stay on late for us. The soup was fresh, homemade and very tasty. The room was warm, homely and welcoming. The bed, pillows and duvet were high quality, fluffy and comfortable. The bathroom was quite small but perfectly adequate. We had a separate room with bunk beds in our room perfect for a family with children. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty. We used the indoor pool, spa, hot tub, steam room all were clean and well maintained, the outdoor hot tub with the wonderful view of the mountains was breathtaking. We only stayed for one night and I only wish that it was for longer. A hotel I would highly recommend and definitely revisit when we visit Lichtenstein again.

Transport to Vaduz and chairlift right outside the hotel. Good value considering Liechtenstein prices. Didn't use sauna, pool or jaccuzi but they all looked good and clean.

Parking was free and easy. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I went in August but I took the lift up the mountain, Beautiful views in all directions. Breakfast was fantastic. The pool/sauna were relaxing.

Friendly staff!! - 1 thing that makes all the difference for me in a hotel stay is the staff and here they were super friendly. it just makes you feel at home. we arrived around midnight and just before arriving i received a call from the hotel asking if everything was okay and i needed any help with directions. To my surprise they actually gave us 2 rooms as they saw that we had a baby and it would be more comfortable. breakfast was great and i was given a tray to fill up my plates and take it to the room as my family was still asleep. now that is really exceptional. on top of that i was given a late checkout until 3PM. at every step the hotel really just wanted us to feel comfortable. i am staying here again!!! :) :)

- Alayne (10/5): Lovely hotel in idyllic setting - Malbun is a stunning place. Despite being small there was lots going on. Turna hotel know how to do hospitality. Everything was done with care and attention. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The children loved the indoor pool and we loved the outside jacuzzi. Breakfast was great offering very good variety. The hotel is beside the ski lift which takes you on to even more stunning views. Loved it here!

- Pei Kee (10/5): A really nice ski hotel with amazing food - We went to Hotel Turna for our first ski holiday. Boy was it a really pleasant stay. The rooms looked to have been recently renovated although the toilet did retain some of the older features. Nevertheless the beds were very comfortable. The view out of our rooms were amazing and there was a hot tub where we enjoyed the same view after skiing. There was also a rack to hang out boots which was nice and the ski lift was just next to the hotel. Best of all, the food was absolutely amazing! We spent 4 nights there and decided to have all our meals there as it was just so good. Swiss family cooking at its best. You'll not be disappointed.

- CLARK (10/5): - We arrived late in the afternoon, host came outside to direct out to a parking spot for our vehicle and was very kind and welcoming. Restaurant was nice and clean and the seder had our table reserved in the morning for breakfast. Nice spread from cereal to freshly baked goods, cheese and meet plater, and various other warm/hot dishes. Pool area was a medium size. Spa area was clean but on the small side, and a few of the guest walked around nude. Hot tub on the small side, fitting no more than 5 comfortably.
- Ellen M (8/5): Off-the-beaten-path Gem - The hotel caters primarily to a winter sports crowd, so the rooms were nice, but nothing to write home about. One great thing: the restaurant. While not too big (make reservations during high season), the food is very good and varied, with lots of game options. Same with breakfast. Service was also great and the young staff could not have been more helpful. Made the say very enjoyable. Hotels is right next to the ski lift and extremely convenient to the entire village and walking trails.

- Katherine (10/5): Great base for day hikes - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rainier and his staff are so accommodating. Plus the restaurant is excellent! Try one of the many game dishes. Caress salad was also amazing, made with a great local cheese. Hearty breakfast included with your room. The hotel is easy to reach using public transit and is right next to the Sareis chair lift. Lots of great hiking using Malbon as a base. We'll be back!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely mountain hiking in the high alps of Lichenstein. Staff was incredible, amenities simple but clean and comfortable, balcony views of the mountains. Easy access to all sorts of hikes from a stroll along the ridge to steeper cow paths. Would happily return.
