Guest Reviews
- Sam (10/5): - Good
- Yolla (2/5): Very very bad experience - The exprience in the hotel was horrible ...the hotel is ery dirty ..and we found cockroach in the room and the bathroom...you shoukd bay for everything and you should pay for the cleaning extra money ...the staff was impolite and they will not even find a soluation...they will answer you ..i don not know...and i bokked the room online and when thy did the check-in ...many things were missing from the room ..Blowdryer and the lights was not working ..the fridge also ..ther was no electricity ..this is my first time ever i faced such a problem wit hotels and clean so the staff . I don not know exactly what us the point from opening such a facility if you don want to give a good service..i will not ever recommend this Hotel to any body ever ..it is very bad
- Justin (2/5): - This in the ghetto. It's i a complete ghetto suburb of Paris called Pantin. Walking fromthe subway to their it's trash, graffiti, communist strike ghetto apartments, and sketch people standing around.
I think the hotel survived through a few riots. The elevator door seems like it would get stuck as it scraped closed. But it didn't open.
The rooms are large. But you'll likely be sitting on a couch covered in bodily fluids, stains in the wall and on the side of the bed.
I'f you are looking for a very diverse mix of people from Africa, the middle east, and what appears to be 1980's Soviet Russia this place is for you.
The AC barely kept the room cool.
After further research the area is basically run by communists and most people live in public housing. Large crime area.
- Calistru (8/5): - Good place to stay
- Jonathan (8/5): - Our stay was as expected. The price was very reasonable. The location was good in terms of transport to the centre of the city. The local area had good eating places.
The corridors and public areas have seen better days.
Our room was a good size and was clean. It was functional but no more. A sachet of coffee every day would have been welcome and a tiny carton of milk for those who don’t take it “noir”.
The pillows were very small and only one per person. It would have been good to be able to order a second one in advance. Overall good but with a few reservations,
- John (6/5): - I would have given them a higher rating but I did not receive housekeeping service at all during my 2 night stay. I ran out of essentials and they were not provided. I was very disappointed because it was in a convenient location and was adequate for my needs. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant but he was the only one who was. The security guards were surly and the woman who checked me out barely said a word. Not impressed. Also, the kitchen items were greasy and dirty..
- robert (10/5): A decent place to stay - The hotel was fine. Near the Metro. The neighborhood is just OK.
I stayed here because of the convenience to the Metro and the price made it worse affordable. Because of the neighborhood I was able to practice my French. Also the price of logging allowed me to take taxis and Ubers whenever I wanted without teaching my budget.
- Bruce (10/5): - Very good for price. Very convient to tram
Neighborhood trashy.
- Jiaen (10/5): - Everything was good, you had everything you need. The room was pretty clean. Transport was accessible.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Okay, so - So, my apologies in advance as I assume it was just how they are but the clerk who checked us in (and the rest of the property) was very off-putting. My partner said the clerk kept staring at her creepily. We ended up checking out early, staying there bearly over 12 hours and luckily got half the cost of our original 4 night stay back but even then we were creeped out just being there.
It is an apartment-hotel so I assumed it wouldn't be flashy but it was:
-dusty
-dingily lit
- damaged everywhere including a broken toilet seat hanging on by one mounting point (I took a video on entering the room to make sure I'd get my deposit back)
My only props to this place was the person I can only assume was the owner or general manager was arrived nice and early when we were checking out around 630am
- Richard (4/5): - location was close to the event area
- Jean-Charles (8/5): - Chambre spacieuse, lit confortable.
- Loveness (10/5): - Good place but please change the carpet too old and dirty.
- Neal (6/5): - Convenient access to metro and tram. Good proximity to grocery store, restaurants, and the canal with walking and cycling on both sides. The hallways are worn but the rooms have been refurbished. Simple but very functional. Good blackout curtains. Reasonable soundproofing in the windows (with enough of the tram bell getting through to be pleasant. Not upscale but good value.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Nice stay
- Demi (2/5): - Had to book another hotel, staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. Reception, room was filthy and smelt like stale cigarettes. Location feels very unsafe.
- Ximena (10/5): - Good
- Kalpesh (4/5): - Front desk service was extremely poor. The stove did not work, light fixture partly pulled out of the wall, the mattress sagged and it was not queen bed - two doubles mattress placed together, made it impossible for couple to sleep comfortably. The toilet seat detached from the commode, and there was no room service at all.
I would not recommend other tourists to stay there.
- Chris (8/5): - Very pleasant stay and good value
- MATTHEW (6/5): Ok, but not a hotel. - Room was fine and staff helpful, however this is not exactly a "hotel" as advertised as much as rooms in an apartment block that is falling into disrepair. Perfectly clean etc, and ok for the price but don't expect luxury service etc.
- Megan (6/5): - The air conditioning did not work in our first room we moved to another room and it still did not work, we asked for it to be fixed and they never did. If was hard to communicate with some staff as they didn’t speak very good English. They were doing construction on the first day and did not inform us this was going to happen the next day.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Lock is broken
- Megan (10/5): - Great location tram stop a 2 minute walk, property clean and tidy.
- Adrift (4/5): - The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Place is not so great, we were charged an undisclosed deposit on arrival and then 3 weeks after checking out still have yet to receive it! There was cold in the bathroom and mysterious stains on the beds. Anytime we tried to use the heating/ air conditioning, it would automatically shut off after 30 seconds. Kitchen was unusable mainly due to the smell coming from the fridge which was not pleasant to sleep next to
- Oleksandr (4/5): - Outdated rooms with misleading pictures and bad smell
- Eric (8/5): - Just Ok
- Matthew (8/5): - Property is close to public transport. The area does have a significant number of immigrants who congregate near metro entrance that can be intimidating. Room was spacious, clean with good facilities such as fridge, microwave. Disappointed with receptionist offering a twin room when I had booked a double, which transpired was available. Overall would recommend, good value for money compared to other options.
- Denis (8/5): - Solid, clean room for the price. 10 mins to Metro, then 20 mins to Gare Du Nord.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great 9 nights stay - Stayed there for a little bit more than one week. It was, overall, a great experience, the price was not expensive, and the room was really good, clean, with kitchen and private bathroom. Although some of my neighboors were a little bit loud, I think this is a great place for a budget travel, specially for couples.
- Hannah (6/5): - Property was ok. It met our needs. No hair dryer as advertised. Didn't spend much time in room so was fine.
- Iddo (6/5): - Inexpensive property, 15-minutes walk from the Zenith in Paris, so was useful for a 1-night stay while watching a concert there.
The place is a bit of a dump, smelly corridor, no public spaces, terrible smell, old room, unfriendly security staff (the lobby belongs to another hotel, and you are prohibited from sitting or even just standing in lobby!)
So, if you need a cheap place for a night near the Zenith, it may work for you - otherwise, suggest you look elsewhere.
- Florin (10/5): - Simple, clean and serious!
- Adrian (8/5): A nice cheap place for a weekend in Paris - Good value for money. When we got there they said they had no booking but when we produced the paperwork they found it. One of the [non-smoking] rooms smelt strongly of tobacco and marijuana. Very handy for access to the Metro which gets you into the centre of Paris in 30-40 mins. There is a G20 supermarket about 5 mins walk away which has what you need for breakfasts etc. Beds were large and comfy. Room could do with a few more plug sockets. It was not spotless and a bit tired in places but not dirty. The area seems safe enough but apparently a bit further away there is quite a drug problem but we did not encounter anything. There are cafes and bars nearby but we did not try any of them. Overall we got what we paid for. Would not want to stay much more than the 3 nights though.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Never Again. Awful - Arrival was good, room obviously not cleaned to Covid standards, light switches, doors, sticky & dirty. Plughole in bath/shower thick with dirt & clogged hairs! Did not empty properly due to this. Floor in bathroom dirty (mat black on lifting after 1 use!) Window either wide open or closed, no partial opening possible. Room smelt dirty. Sound proof...what sound proof, noise from adjoining rooms clearly heard. No electricity on day 3 for entire day, heating did not work once back on, I was advised it was working centrally so no problem despite the fact the unit was flashing error code & to use a blanket if I was cold!!!! Customer service -10.
All in all my worst ever stay in a hotel in all my years of travelling & countries visited
- Aref (2/5): - This place is absolutely awful. It’s more of a joke than anything else. Booked this hotel two months before my stay and when I arrived at the hotel I found out they were closed. And they didn’t inform me nor any of the other guests about their closure. I would tell everyone to stay away from this hotel. Absolute disgrace.
- Lisa M. (10/5): Comfort and Economical. - Excellent.
- Lisa (10/5): Magnifique. - Very comfortable and hospitable lodging.
- Lisa M. (10/5): Caring assistance by concierge. - When I had an acute health problem, the concierge on the first floor was patient and helpful, doing his best to help me seek health care and assist me in a difficult situation.
- Chantal (6/5): Beds are disappointing - It was fine. Our “queen” bed was just two uncomfortable twins pushed together. Our romantic evening was a bit ruined by this.
- Aleksandra (10/5): - Great localisation
- Milan (10/5): A solid 3 star hotel - Spacious and clean room. Some nice urban views from the 8th floor. A solid 3 star hotel. Recommended.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good stay overall. Daily housekeeping is not included as this is an appartment hotel. You can’t even get fresh towels without paying extra. This was fine since I only stayed 4 nights, but might be problematic for longer stays.
- . (6/5): - The customer services was horrendous! Didn't get the room that I booked originally and it took at least an hour on the phone to Expedia to sort it as the property wouldn't help.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Property was exactly as described. Very clean, spacious and well equipped. Excellent value for money in a great location, 5 minute walk from Hoch metro station which was just a 10 minute ride away from Gare Du Nord.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Decent location, great price, prefect amenities and conveniently located close to Metro
- Johanna (8/5): Doesn't tell special conditions in description - Overall we had a very good stay at this hotel, but we wished we had known before that there is no room cleaning in between and extra towels would cost 4 Euro.
Also, they charge 45 Euros if the kitchen is not left clean, but on the other part, we had to clean some of this before using it.
On the other hand our shower was leaking and we had to use towels to clean it up after every shower.
We might come again, despite the bathroom and room had dusty corners and bed wasn't the most comfortable one, as Paris is expensive. However, we think they should describe their special service conditions in their listing at hotel.com.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Well appointed apartment meets requirements of a small family.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - When i searched For the hotel Expedia said it was close to CDG airport but it was like 35 minutes away and a 45 Euros Uber away.
- Krishnamurti (8/5): Stay at art hotel - It was a very good studio the staff was great , but Manusca was lovely she way beyond to help me thanks Manusca . When I came back to Paris I willd definitely stay at the same place with no problems
- Carol (8/5): Paris stay - We were a group of 11 Girl Scouts. We had 3 rooms and it was great! We liked that the couch pulled out to two twin beds. You didn’t wake up your neighbor when you rolled over. It was wonderful to have breakfast delivered every morning. We liked the area but wished we had picked a hotel on a more major metro line.
- Adeogun (8/5): - T
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Air conditioning did not work, only 1 pillow, half of the shower door missing, not as pictured
- Allison (8/5): Ok hotel, 30-40 minutes from Paris. - Great stay but far from the actual city, took about 30-40 minutes to get into Paris. There was a good amount of restaurants in the area and the staff was friendly.
- Thomas (10/5): - Location to tram stop is great, but may take about 30mibs to city centre.
The apartment was large, 2 rooms, bedroom and a living room) kitchenette. The area was quiet enough
- George (6/5): Good place for a short stay - Rooms are good, locality is good - adjacent to team station.
No breakfast room and there is no choice for breakfast - need to eat what they deliver at door.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy place to stay.. walk to transportation and food easy!
- Mambueni (8/5): Good - Very nice
- Tony (10/5): - very nice front desk person. explain everything details.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We needed more toilet paper for staying at there in 3days
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room clean, but in the middle of nowhere.
Building need to be cleaned
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Value for money ok. You get a tiny kitchen area which saves for eating out so much. You only get one night coffee even though we stayed 10 days.
Cost extra for coffee/ room cleaning. Near transportation. So we saw a lot of Paris. Tram in back almost takes you into Père-Lachaise cemetery.
Get travel card at airport Navajo and you can take all transportation. One price.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Neat and clean room, very spacious, but the reception is in a tiny room on the first floor and the line that formed to check in was miles long. The key cards for the doors kept de-magnetizing, leaving us at midnight with no way to get into the room. When we called reception the line was very unstable and they instructed us to take Master Keys to all rooms from small boxes. Check-Out instructions were written on the doors were confusing, and to top it all off our shower was broken. It wasn't a terrible experience, but there was very little communication and seemed really insecure. Still, i guess that's what you get for the price.
- Ariff (6/5): Check the reviews - Reception not that welcoming, corridors a bit unpleasant smell. I stay for 3 nights, not allowed to have towels replacement, if you want will cost €8. What are ripped off.
Better to book 3 separate nights, so you will get new rooms with new towels every single day. Cost still the same, no cleaning happens for 3 days.
Thinks before book it. Regards
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very happy with the stay - Place very cleanand nice staff. the oven was very useful to cook dinner, there was also a coffee machine and some tea bags complimentary. everything clean and tidy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Once we arrived at the hotel the reception had notified us that our room is what they call “residential”. Meaning that if we wanted the room cleaned we had to pay extra, we apparently had to take our own garbage out, we didn’t even get a phone in the room. Also as per an option on their Expedia add you could get breakfast every morning aswell. The reception had asked me what time we wanted our breakfast for our stay, agreed on 9:30. First morning we get it, the next, no breakfast. I go downstairs and their is a different reception so I ask her where our breakfast is thinking it might have just been a mistake. Nope, she continued to try and explain it was my fault because we weren’t in her schedule and that I notified her to late in the day but she “made an exception” and got us breakfast, this happened numerous times on our trip, breakfast not arriving at all or at 8:30 instead of 930. Having to go downstairs to ask for a towel because we were only provided one, some of the things like an iron and ironing board that were listed in the add were not in the room. Mold in the ceiling tiles because of no fan in the bathroom.
The list of issues goes on unfortunately, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Ezen H. (8/5): Clean & Functional rooms - Checking in late is not a problem as long as you can solve clues on unlocking their safety box.
Rooms are fairly huge. Sheets are clean. Pillows are limp.
Hotel is a 7 min walk to Hoche metro station, a little far but feels decently safe in a residential neighbourhood.
- Amgad (10/5): - A perfect place to stay, clean and large studio room with all amenities you need, A/C , microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, large refrigerator, stove with kitchen utensils and sink, toaster, TV (french channels only) big wardrobe, good bathroom., Solid WiFi, elevator. Location within 2 minutes to tram 3b, and 7 minutes to Hoche metro station #5. Very good price and safe, and nice hotel staff.
- Jg (4/5): - The hotel is in Porte de Pantin, a bad side of Paris. I wish I would have done my homework prior to booking. The room is very simple with poor bedding. There is no room cleaning service, unless you want to pay €10,00 a day. There is truth to the saying you get what you pay.
- Jorge (10/5): - Nice room with stove, fridge and microwave. Great price with the amenities they have at the room. Close to Hoche Metro station, like 6 minutes walking distance.
- Kerry (10/5): Happy traveller. - Very happy, lovely friendly staff on reception. Facilities in the room are good. And close to metro etc for ease of travelling. Would recommend for a trip to Paris.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cleanliness was disappointing - Room was great and had everything we needed and was close to all the necessary transport links, however, had to buy our own cleaning products in order to clean the bath before use, the bottom was almost black. There was also a note on the kitchen cupboard stating that if you do not leave the room in a clean and tidy state, you will be charged 45 euros which would have been all well and good had i not had to clean the kitchen before use as well!
- Daniel (8/5): - Very good value for the money and conveniently near both the Hoche metro and the Delphine Seyrig tram stop.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Recommended! - Great choice for a comfortable budget stay! The room was spacious and clean. Kitchenette and fridge was very helpful for cutting expenses for our 5 nights in Paris. A bit far from center, but just next to Parc Villette and the river, easy access to tram and metro. Front desk staff were kind and helpful. No daily cleaning, but it's because they treat these rooms more like an apartment than hotel. No problem for us. We were totally satisfied with the room for the price, and would stay again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Value - This was a little out of Paris, but it was a great value for a room with a Kitchenette in it. I would love to stay next time I come to Paris.
- Cliff (8/5): - Genial staff and management. Location is OK — not a charming neighborhood, but just a couple of blocks from grocery, restaurants, metro stop.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Get what you pay for - Well this was a last minute booking. It is not at all what it says. We just d alt with it because we didn’t want to pack and move hotels. Different staff members were nice one lady was totally rude. Telling me I can’t have cleaning unless we pay daily. The other gentlemen said he could replenish towels and he did. Coffee in Rome was delicious. The lobby for aRT hotel was in 1 st floor and it was tiny. Even the hallways were dingy and new carpet need replacement. Family neighborhood with metro about 5 min walk. Also G20store for water and snacks was helpful. Other than that it’s across from Hookah bar and at night I’d question walking out alone.
- Parampal (10/5): Great customer service (Samia) - Samia at the reception was absolutely brilliant. Service was great and overall experience was good as well. Thank you!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Had a lovely stay, staff were brilliant and friendly always willing to help, unfortunately the room was not as pretty as the pictures and the room smelt of cigarette smoke. This was a shame as there were no other faults, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was great for a place to sleep after a long day of sightseeing
- Joyce (8/5): - This is a good home away from home, it's a studio apt with mini kitchen, if you get tired of eating out, there's a market down the street you can buy food to cook. The neighborhood was pretty safe too. I won't speak about the other residence they were the creepy once but the locals were nice and friendly. I will stay again if I visite france. Oh and the train or subway is within walking distance maybe 5min tops not even .
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for a stay without breakfast - It is a good hotel indeed with a suitable local area and the transpiration around is good. I just don't recommend taking breakfast from the hotel, because there is no restaurant. They bring the food to the room at the time you want (between 7:00 - 10:00) and you don't have options -It is the same food everyday for the whole period of your stay, and it is very little-.
