maleparker (10/5): Excellent stay! - An absolutely wonderful family getaway! Country Road Cabins widely exceeded our every expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and comfort were top priorities. We stayed at Marathon Cabin and it had everything we could possibly need for a perfect stay. The privacy was outstanding, making it ideal for a family trip where you can go out exploring nearby areas or just relax and unwind. The hot tub was a highlight — we used it every single day! What really set this stay apart was the thoughtful little surprises. Wood was included and set-up for fire pit use that made our evenings truly special. The staff were friendly, warm, and incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. We can’t recommend this cabin highly enough. If you’re looking for a clean, private, well-equipped retreat for the family, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll absolutely be back!

They left us an air mattress and were more than accommodating and generous. The cabin could use some updating. But everything from the classic cabin smell to the surrounding forest to the hot tub and fire pit was great. Definitely will be coming back to stay. And very centrally located to rafting etc. It is CLOSER to adventures in the gorge, 10 minutes or so, compared to ace adventure which was around 25 minutes. Needs updating. Decor. Flooring. But that's not what we were there for.

Bless (9/5): would stay again if we come back to the area - We loved our stay at the Wilderness cabin. We had everything we needed and the hot tub was on point for the cold cold November days. Also great proximity to climbing crags and hiking and the Free Folks brewery was a fun place to gather. The third room was in the basement and a little dark and didn't connect to the central HVAC and the kitchen is super small, but well stocked.

It was the very last cabin, very secluded and absolutely adorable! The sheets on the bed were some of the softest sheets I've ever slept on. We loved the hot tub on the back deck and made use of the grill as well. It was a lovely stay, only wish we'd have booked an extra day or 2!

Needed some reading lamps in the upstairs bed nooks. The drive in could be graded-- very bumpy (they may have had some wash outs with the storms in the last few months, though). I stayed in one of the upstairs attic rooms, which are small and inconveniently lighted.

Stephenie (8/5): Quiet, cozy and private. The hot tub is a fantastic touch. Just could use a couple updates - We loved how private it was! The Hot tub was particularly nice. The dishwasher was kind of pointless/didn’t work right. Plates were too large to put in. We tried 3 times to put on loads. The soap dispenser never opens. It was not blocked by anything either. It was hard to turn on, button wise as well. It needs to be updated. The non-stick pans were all scratched up; therefore we didn’t want to use (unhealthy). The ice machine was not hooked up to the water line, so no ice, despite the switch turned to ON. No ice trays either. The fluorescent light in hallway near kitchen needs to be replaced. Only half turned on, and it flickered the entire time. The hot tub worked well; however, the first night, while sitting at bench out front to eat, we could hear sound of water splashing onto ground. There appeared to be water (not Huge amounts, but enough that we could hear it), coming from underneath hot tub on the deck. At the end of that night of us using it, we could tell the water level had decreased, because the jets working, but no water above, so louder, different sound, etc. We did not displace the water, there has to be some sort of leak. We turned on the hose next to the hot tub to refill past the jets, and it was fine. But for future rentals, it should probably be addressed. Also, bathroom on 2nd floor needs more light. It’s too dark when your trying to shower.

Lisa (10/5): Can't wait to go back! - Beautiful cabin with lots of privacy. A variety of wildlife to watch and enjoy. Hot tub was great and evenings by the fire pit were very relaxing! All essentials were provided, even coffee, creamer, sugar, coffee filters, aluminum foil, pans, dishes, utensils, linens, etc... The hot tub and grill were clean and ready to use. The cost of the cabin rental was a bit high (1200+ for 3 days) Our trip was Sunday through Wednesday and there was not a lot open the beginning of the week. I would recommend going the latter part of the week if you are interested in visiting wineries, breweries and such.

Vince (10/5): - The cabins are well set up & very nice. This is the perfect place to get away to in this area no matter what your adventure is.
Laura (10/5): - Well equipped clean kitchen and bathrooms and the hot tub was excellent. Beds comfortable and the living room was comfortable for 4 having lots of conversation. Very close to Hawk’s Nest Park, where we had a wonderful time spending the day.

Lauren (10/5): EXCELLENT! - We stayed in the two bedroom cabin, called the Appalachian. It was perfect for my husband, me, and my parents. We brought my mother's service dog and she also loved the area. It is so very quiet and peaceful. I know it is a bit pricey, but you are paying for a full home, yard, and excellent privacy. Our stay was beyond enjoyable and we would love to come back for a longer stay. There are National and State Parks in the area. Although this area was peaceful and quiet, it was not too far from major highways and shopping areas. If you are on the fence, go for it! You won't regret it. Also, if you have a dog (service or pet) call up the hotel before you book, as they do have dog friendly cabins.
