We loved that we could hike from the lodge but it was also convenient to get to Red River Gorge. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and it was good both times. It was fast and not crowded like everything else in the area. The continental breakfast was a huge plus! I would stay here again if coming to the area.

I found them just about everywhere. I ordered food and a bottle of wine at the lodge and took it to my cottage with me. The kitchen was well equipped, the room did not have a working blow drier. Overall it was good for a last minute, unplanned stay. I probably could have used a few less 8 legged friends..., lol but I managed!

- Cynthia (6/5): - We stayed at the Park Hotel and unfortunately found it to be quite outdated. The air conditioning was a constant issue — it would only run for about five minutes at a time. We called several times for assistance, but nothing was ever done to resolve the problem. The screen was ripped out of the door, so we couldn’t leave it open to enjoy fresh air without letting bugs in. The food was disappointing across the board, from the free continental breakfast to the buffet and tavern options. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location — it’s centrally located to many attractions and just steps away from the Natural Bridge, which was incredibly convenient. Overall, the location was ideal, but the accommodations and food left a lot to be desired.
- Karen (8/5): - We enjoyed the space of the executive cottage. The lights on the path from the cottages to the Lodge were on during the day, but not in the evening when we walked back to the cottage, perhaps the timer is set wrong?

Even after turning on a/c and opening windows 30-45 minutes later it reeked. Unable to stay in cottage and resort was full so we had to leave. Staff was friendly and canceled our stay
- Kristin (8/5): Beautiful park - Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The balcony was lovely. The breakfast buffet was ok, but somewhat limited in options. The pool wasn’t open, understandably, but the walk from the lodge would have been daunting. Many many steps.

Cabin smelled very musty, poor lighting- only 1 lamp in the large bedroom and large living area, dishwasher still had dishes in it, dish detergent but no scrubber, no paper towels, no decaf coffee in room or available from the check in desk, multiple light switches with no known function.

We called the front desk and the lady came over and messed with it and then called maintenance and they went back and forth for 45-1 hr before finally moving us to another room. Then they discovered some glitch in the system that automatically turns the AC off so the next day we had the same issue and had to call the front desk for them to turn our Ac back on. Not cool (literally). The hotel also randomly locked doors accessing the restaurant and lobby forcing guests to walk to the main front doors to enter the lobby.

- MARILYN (10/5): Natural Bridge getaway. - For an older state park property this lodge was outstanding. The room was super nice and we had a porch with a forest view. Included breakfast was standard food, scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy. Make your own waffles. Toast and cereals. We had dinner there for a very reasonable price. The food was great. I would visit again if there weren't so many other places to go.

- Roger (4/5): Not happy because of air conditioning. - Air conditioning was not working. Unit in ceiling and was leaking onto counter & floor. Maintenance came but did not fix, could not adjust temperature setting. I was told set to 70 degrees and could not change. I told front desk it was cooler in hallways, was not offered another room. I went and bought two fans because could not sleep. Room temperature was not 70 degrees. Door was swelled pretty bad, had to use shoulder to open from outside. It is older hotel. Was told at check out they probably did not have any other rooms available is why I wasn't offered another room. They gave me 25% credit, which paid for the fans. It is a nice area and views around hotel. Would have enjoyed if air conditioning was working right.

- James (6/5): - This was an odd experience. I can't blame the facility 100% though. The entire thing was a weird mix of government standard parks building and nice hotel. Doors stuck, AC was loud, beds were not super comfortable..But, the view was incredible, and the location was great. Finally, if you don't have food make sure to eat before things close. My wife and I had. late kayak trip near by scheduled, and we barely made it in time due to terrible weather..We it was over, we had to buy tuna from the kayak place's gift shop or there would have been no dinner. All restaurants in the area were closed, and the gift shop at the hotel was closed. They have no vending machines or food options of any sort in that event. plan accordingly. In short - staying here was an odd, but not terrible experience. If you are expecting a parks building then it's a pretty good stay, but the appearance can make you think it's more of a hotel, and it's really not.

- Deanna (6/5): - Let me start by saying—I’m truly not boujee, but this might read a little boujee. Just know it’s coming from a place of honesty! We stayed at the lodge, and while the location and access to trails were great, the room itself was… a little questionable. Our shower had visible mold, a broken shower head, and a nice little trail of ants to greet us. Housekeeping only comes the day you check out, so if you need towels or anything else during your stay, you have to ask—which isn’t the end of the world, just something to know ahead of time. The complimentary breakfast was decent—think biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, cereal, apples, waffles, juice, and packaged muffins. Nothing fancy, but it’ll get you fueled up for a day of hiking. The onsite tavern was a pleasant surprise! Shout out to Dan, the friendly bartender, who kept the vibes chill and the drinks very reasonably priced. There’s no shortage of trails to explore and things to do. We were really looking forward to the sky lift our first night, but unfortunately, they decided to close about 30 minutes early. Same thing happened with the pool after a hot hike—lifeguards were eager to wrap up early, which was a bit of a bummer when you’re sweaty and dreaming of a quick dip. All in all, it’s a convenient and scenic place to stay, especially if you’re planning to hike a lot. Just know what you’re walking into—and maybe bring your own shower shoes.

- Marc (8/5): Great Location, Rooms dated. - The Lodge was in a great location and had a very nice swimming pool. Having a restaurant and bar on site was also very convenient. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains, but is a bit dated. This didn't stop us from having a wonderful time.
- Angela (8/5): - Property was beautiful. Pool was great. Staff wonderful. The only walking trails that you could take your dog on where anywhere from 4-5 minutes up to 20 minutes away. The trails right at resort, down not allowed on. Very little green area to take dog out to go the the bathroom. Room was nice, older building. Needs some water damage repairs in some areas and saw water spots on carpet where there were leaks from something. The cover over our AC filter in the room leaked and made floor at entrance of room slick. Our room was right under restaurant and was noisy when chairs started being moved around all hours of the day. This made dog anxious and we had to run the tv and music to try and drown out the noise so dog wouldn’t get upset and bark. We had fun just not what we were expecting.

The cabin was nice, but the bath tub realley need a good cleaning, there was no paper towels or napkins , and no eating utinsels. There also needs to be a lock on the back door - I was very unconfertable with that. The beds were comfertalble the AC was great , the water pressure was wonderful. I would stay there again All in all it was a good adventure.

- mark (8/5): - Well first, it was hot and muggy while I was there. The area was great for hiking and see the rock formations. The stairs and path to Natural Bridge were everything you would want. You could take an extreme route or and easier route depending on your decision. Parking, well there was plenty of parking but the lodge only parking wasn’t well enforced during the day when anyone can hike and enter the pool area. The room was older but clean and the air conditioning in the room worked exceeding well. No laundry service at the lodge, traveling by motorcycle, I was not impressed by no coin laundry available. But I would stay here again with no problem
- Sheena (10/5): - Beautiful hotel as well as the area surrounding it. Breakfast was included and great! Would definitely stay here again.
- Paul G (4/5): - Evidently there are HVAC issues. Everything was damp as though they had shut down the AC when the room was vacant, or maybe there were issues with the system. Carpet and hard floor noticably damp when walking on it as if condensation. Also, the sheets on the bed were literally threadbare. The bottom sheet was coming apart. The (free) breakfast was pretty inedible. We're tired of giving this place chance after chance for nostalgia. We won't be going back again.

- Lindsey (10/5): Updated - This is the same vibe as Cumberland state park but way nicer and with better food. The pool was closed and we weren’t informed of that before we got there. That was lame.
- Adam (2/5): - I booked a room with 2 queen beds, but the hotel said the booking was send from Expedia with a request for 1 room. The only room available was a wheelchair-accessible room with only 1 queen bed
- Diana (10/5): - Easy walking trails and clean trails. Free breakfast is a plus. Cottage needed some dusting and a little better cleaning
- mindy (10/5): Extremely friendly people and a beautiful view - It’s a beautiful location in the view from the lodge is amazing. The people are so friendly.

- Susan (8/5): - Such a beautiful location. The cabins are older but comfortable. Extremely nice staff.
- Mark (4/5): - Great hiking and the pool is awesome. We stayed in a cottage. It smelled musty and was not clean. Dust on furniture, bath tub drips, bugs, mouse turds and dust bunnies under all the furniture and tables. We killed a few spiders in our room and mice were going through our food on the kitchen counter. We cut our trip short due to filth
