• Trek562668 (10/5): Stay in paradise - We are repeat guests at Surfer’s chalets and this 2-week stay was a bliss again. The owners and the staff are all very helpful and caring. The bungalows are cleaned every day except for Sundays, with towels changed regularly incl. beach towels. You can enjoy lovely sunrise just from your terrace and well-kept garden around. The beach restaurant is another bonus to the stay - great service, delicious food for good price. We recommend hiring a car to be able to explore other parts and beaches of the Island. The beach at Surfer’s is lovely too, I went there early in the morning for a swim, then there is a low tide good for snorkeling and you can swim again in the afternoon. There are good waves for surfers sometimes. We highly recommend this spot and definitely will be returning.

Thanks to you, we had the best time of our lives in the Seychelles at The Surfers 100/100! The location is fantastic with the private beach. A little paradise for those who value quality and tranquility. With a rental car, you can easily reach everything you need. The restaurant on the beach is fantastic. The food is delicious – not to mention the incredible atmosphere 24/7! Sunrise and sunset right on your doorstep. We can hardly believe our luck that we stumbled upon this gem by chance! We will definitely be back – without a doubt! Looking forward to see you ASAP❤️
• Q5717HPbj_rnb (10/5): We'll be back! - This was our 3rd time to the Seychelles and 1st time to the Surfers Chalets. We stayed for 2 weeks and travelled to several "Anses" as we well as to La Digue. The chalets have all you need to enjoy a pleasant holiday, are big enough for a family of 3 and very tidy & clean. The team is very friendly and happy to help. We often enjoyed our meals in the Surfers Beach Restaurant which is right in front of the chalets, located on the beach, perfect for sun-downers (even if on the east coast) or a nice breakfast during low tide. We were very happy with our stay and are sure to be back! The area around Surfers Beach is fairly quiet, Anse Royale is not far but the South -East coast is a bit quieter than e.g. North-West, but that's a question of personal prefence!
• Tourist628461 (10/5): Surfers Chalets - Another Great Experience - It was not our first time staying at Surfers Beach Self Catering Chalets and it won't be the last - it is an excellent all-round experience. We would say that it is a far better experience and overall deal than staying in some of Mahe's so-called Luxury hotels - certainly from a spaciousness, cleanliness, comfort and value for money perspective. The chalets offer a spacious bathroom, living room and kitchen plus a very comfortable large bedroom. You can tell the chalets were developed with great attention to detail including the exterior which boasts a spacious deck for cocktails at sundown looking out over the ocean or just generally relaxing. This is all complemented by the beachfront Surfers Restaurant just a few steps away. My partner and I were visiting from the UK and were very pleased to find Surfer's charms remain fully intact since we last visited pre-Pandemic. Thank you Surfers for a brilliant stay - again!
• tulliav2018 (10/5): A dream - I write only after three months because I'd not add anything to previous reviews : the location, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the equipment, the kindness of all the staff are perfect.But today I read a review that left me dumbfounded and that doesn't describe the place where I stayed. I cannot believe it' s the same chalets. I hope it's a mistake, and confirm they are worth the maximum score for me, and I hope to return as soon as possible.
• 901harrym (10/5): Location, Space and Cleanliness - Cannot fault the experience at Surfers Beach. Richard and his team treated us so well and the accomodation was spacious and spotless. I will never forget sitting on the veranda sipping cocktails and listening to the waves every night. Everything in the chalet worked as it should and we did not switch on the television once for our whole stay of 13 days. The cleaning staff were particurally nice and efficient. The air conditioning and fans were highly effective but most of all the great space and cleanliness of the chalets made our stay so relaxing. If you are visiting the Seychells, this is the place to stay.

Shout out to Lisa eho helped us a lot! Very clean room with nice view from the porch, beach and restaurant were for 2 minutes walk. Thank you for everything, we already plan our way back again sometime!
• gibby56 (10/5): Perfect! - Surfers Beach was perfect! We had had a (lovely but) somewhat bumpy stay on Praslin involving a hospital visit, a damaged rental car, and a few other complications, so when we arrived at Surfers Beach we were ready to just chill. This was the perfect place to do it. It was wonderful to just sit on our porch, stare at the ocean, and watch the fruit bats fly by. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re spacious and comfortable and have everything you need. The beach was very pretty; it was great for lounging and we saw people snorkeling past the reef maybe 30 yards offshore. The restaurant is really good and the staff were friendly and efficient. We kind of wish we’d spent a little more of our time in the Seychelles at Surfers Beach and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

• AntonC478 (10/5): Unspoilt True Seychelles Island Experience - My wife and I stayed here for a month on the South side of the Island with it's wide open spaces and totally unspoilt by the commerciliasation in the North. Our chalet was very well appointed & fully serviced, right on Surfers Beach with their restuarant right there for meals or sundowners etc. Good internet connectivity with very peaceful surroundings. Our hosts Richard and Marle went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and happy and were enjoying our stay. We would not hesitate in recomending them and the excellent value for money that they offer. Many exciting other places of interest and excellent restaurants etc close by.
• dedyotty (10/5): Three day Mahe visit - We stayed here for 3 days. We had a lovely time. The chalets are spacious for a family of three, and whilst not luxurious, they are very nice and have everything we needed. Including a corkscrew! The view is lovely, and even the steep walk up the hill is good to work off some of the calories gained in the Surfers Beach restaurant. My son 11 yrs loved running around the property to find and pet the many cats, and to visit the giant tortoises. The owner Richard was very nice and extremely helpful. The location is good for the airport and to get across to the restaurants and beaches on the other side of the island. The only minor issue we had was the shower was alittle cold in the mornings, but still usable. The bathroom was really very nice. We will definitaly stay again.
• afework (10/5): Cozy and quite Chalet in Seychelles - The place is amazingly beautiful located in a very green extremely quite small hill surrounded by banana trees and all types of greenery, the rooms are fully equipped with Fridge, Microwave and all required for cooking, the room was so neat and you can’t even find a single spot with any dust, the staff are very friendly with big smile, the COVID protocol is very good with temperature being taken every morning whenever one wakes up, the view of the ocean from the rooms are spectacular and you feel like you staying in a high rise building facing an ocean, the access to the main road and to the Surfers Beach Restaurant run by the same company is a minute walk. Being an airline pilot for more than 30 years this place deserves five star for the money I paid and the quality of room and service I got.

Spacious clean and comfortable accommodation with utilities and services that work - hot water, wi-fi etc. Icing on the cake is the team at Surfers who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable! • romanek5 (10/5): A perfect stay - We stayed at this beautiful place for the second time, with 2 kids /3 and 14/. It's a perfect place for us - quiet, safe, clean, very friendly owners and staff. What we really like is also the beach /good for little kids during the low tide, which is most of the day and then good for surfing for our teenage son in the afternoon/. You can rent a surfboard there and get a lot of interesting tips on surfing from Dominic. The beach restaurant is also very good and basically you don't need a car when staying there /if you want just relax/, which we needed when staying elsewhere. We'll definitely be back and can highly recommend this place.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Budget stay - Das self catering Chalet war für den Einstieg auf die Seychellen ganz ok, ist eher was für Urlauber die viel vorhaben und unterwegs sind, aber nicht für die Flitterwochen geeignet. Wenn man eine romatische Unterkunft sucht ist man hier falsch. Das Chalet war aber insgesamt sehr sauber gehalten, zT jedoch ein bisschen heruntergekommen. Die Küche war nur mit dem Basic set ausgestattet, hätte vllt noch ein oder 2 Töpfe und einige Kochlöffel gebrauchen können. Das Zimmer war auch nur mit den basics ausgestattet, hier sowie in der ganzen Unterkunft insgesamt fehlte uns einfach der Charakter, da nicht wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet. Zu dem Chalet zu kommen muss man entweder eine sehr steile Auffahrt hoch laufen oder mit dem Auto hochfahren. Hier währen anstatt die Büsche neben der Auffahrt einige Stufen angebracht, damit der Aufstieg erleichtert ist. Parkplätze vorhanden und auch ein Auto würden wir empfeheln, da ansonsten wenig in der Nähe und nicht leicht erreichbar ist. Managment hätte auch ein wenig netter bzw zuvorkommend sein können. Zu guter letzt war der Strand gegenüber toll und ein erster guter Einblick in die Seychellen. Frühstück ist ca 10-15 euro pro Person extra.

• SabCon88 (10/5): Lovely stay - Stayed here for 5 nights august 2019. They arranged airport pick up for us and were waiting when we arrived, they offered to let us stop for atm/exchange and shop along the way. Accommodation was lovely-nice big spacious one bed chalet very clean and cleaner came daily apart from sunday which we were advised about. Lovely view of the sea and small beach across the way where the restaurant is. In terms of location I would only recommend if you hire a car-(we did for the last 3 days for €42 per day) taxi to beau vallon for example would have been €100 return There are buses which are very cheap but I did not want to repeat my bus experience a second time-very packed long wait at the bus stop and very irratic driving. Overall would highly recommend the property but only with a car

• alexae2018 (10/5): Excellent - I had an excellent experience staying at Surfer’s. The rooms are spotless and you have lots of space.There is even a full kitchen. The terrace overlooks the water and beautiful anseparnel beach is just a few steps away. The Surfer’s restaurant on the beach could not be more convenient and tasty. Roxy the Surfer’s dog would come and greet us every day too. Maid service was great as well. I highly recommend.

• Bigboy (10/5): Surfers - Location fantastic. Beautiful view and tropical paradise feeling. Apartment was immaculate, very very clean and kept so by absolutely brilliant staff from the Janitor to the cleaning staff e.g. he shared fresh picked bananas with their guests simply because they were ready to be picked and it is nice to share, she washed my t-shirts simply because she was putting a load on and she heard us saying that i needed to wash some, he hosed my hire car down (and another guests that happened to be in the car park) simply because he saw they were dusty. Richard the owner was brill and they all made us feel soo comfortable. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone.
• Klara (10/5): Comfortable chalets near to the beach - I warmly recommend this place to all whom want to spend their vacation outside hotel resort and main tourist areas. The chalets are spacious and really clean. The beach is really close, but not the best beach for swimming because the water is shallow. Perfect for a picnic or nap though. I used the public transport during my stay and it doesn't take long time to get to some other beaches on the island. The stuff was friendly and I got help with lift to the groceries and airport. It was my first time to Seychelles and highly positive experience.
• Jan (8/5): Modernes Hotel mit großzügigen Zimmern + gutem PLV - Unkomplizierter Check Inn. In der großzügigen modernen Zimmern fehlte es an fast nix. (ausser vielleicht einem Küchensieb ;) WLAN mit gutem Tempo und for free. Bequeme Betten, eine sehr gute Parkplatzsituation... wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Simple Beauty - We had a fantastic stay at Surfers. 7 days of rest, plenty of quiet and lots of surf/sand. We were able to either enjoy the restaurant on site, go out to another place or just stay back and cook for ourselves. Being able to prepare some simple meals ourself helped keep our costs down and put that money on other experiences (boat tour or shopping) The place was VERY clean and comfortable! Airport transfer was perfect and they stopped at a grocery store on the way in to buy some supplies, VERY HELPFUL.
• Jennifer J (10/5): Great views from the terrace - We really enjoyed our stay at Surfers. The kitchen was stocked with essential cookery and there was ample space for our family of 4. We especially enjoyed the moonscapes from our terrace at night. The restaurant down at the beach below the apartments was very good indeed. Our place was cleaned thoroughly everyday but other than that we felt like we had total privacy, which we enjoyed. A great place for independent travelers who don't need much guidance or hand holding to male the most of the destination.
