• Michaela (10/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, super Lage, angenehme Unterkunft in Antwerpen-Zuid - Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, Ann und Lars, war sehr gut. Der Raum ist groß, es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit einer Tür zum Schlafzimmer, und ein etwas kleines, aber sauberes und angenehmes Badezimmer. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Viertel Zuid hat einen ziemlich neuen Park Richtung Zentrum, der richtig toll zum Erholen ist. Es gibt viele Restaurants im Viertel. Wir sind mehrmals zu Fuß ins Zentrum gegangen, auch das war gut möglich, nicht zu weit entfernt. In der Straße ist derzeit eine Baustelle, aber wir waren am Wochenende da und haben keinen Baulärm gehört. Es war sehr ruhig. Es gab eigentlich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat. Die enge und steile Treppe war für uns kein Problem.

• Monique Smits (10/5): Super voor kort verblijf - Super aardige host. Moeder en zoon. We werden heel vriendelijk onthaald. Niet ver van het centrum, wat lopend te bereiken is. Vlak naast Q-park. Maar wij zijn naar Olympia P&R gegaan want Q-park is duur per dag. Schone badkamer. Magnetron in de kamer aanwezig ( niet gebruikt) , Senseo apparaat en waterkoker en wat glazen en schaaltjes. Senseo koffie is echt vies. Liever wat goede cupjes met een ander koffieapparaat.
• Julia (10/5): Alles wunderbar - jederzeit wieder! Top-Location - Wir waren begeistert! Ein großes Bad, das Zimmer geräumig. Neben dem Bett gibt es zwei Sessel mit Beistelltisch, einen Esstisch sowie eine Küchentheke mit Barstühlen. Die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Besitzer stellen Tee, Kaffeepads, Milch, Zucker zur Verfügung. Gut gefallen hat uns die Lage in direkter Nachbarschaft zu Bars, Cafes, Restazrants, dem Zuidpark, der Straßenbahn sowie fußläufig zur Innenstadt und drei Museen. Liegt an der Schelde. Der Betreiber Lars war super nett und hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt, er hat sogar im Vorfeld bei uns angerufen, um mitzuteilen, dass wir früher ins Zimmer können uvm. Wenn wir nochmal nach Antwerpen fahren, würde ich jederzeit wieder dort wohnen wollen. Wir fanden alles gut. Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen sollten allerdings wissen, dass die Treppen im Haus sehr schmal und steil sind.

I was made to feel welcome and comfortable and very much appreciated the bottle of water on arrival. There was a slight, but soon resolved, communication issue about my arrival time. • Freddie (9/5): Hartelijk ontvangst op een leuke locatie. - De kamers waren zeer schoon. De keukens waren voorzien van alle comfort. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het was fijn dat we alle drie kamers van het pand voor ons gezin ter beschikking hadden. Er is een goede tram verbinding naar het centrum. Op zich met 2 km afstand is het ook goed te wandelen.

The room is very well equipped and really nice. Had a really great stay here. The room was a tiny bit humid and a bit nippy at night.

• Johanna (9/5): A compact room with friendly hosts in a quiet area - A beautiful and compact room in Zuid Antwerpen. Comfortable bed & good coffee in the coffee-making machine. Paul & Ann were such friendly and helpful hosts, and very flexible with check-in. If we had stayed longer, would have definitely tried the yoga classes downstairs.
• Dominique (9/5): Superb - Nice little studio with enough surface space to leave your things. There was a tram station nearby so you can travel easy to the centre and back. The surroundings of the studio are nice too, with the arte museum, cafes and restaurants. Easy acces from the train station. Anna and Paul where very nice and accomodating. There is no elevator, you have to carry your luggage up a steet pair of stairs to the first floor. This was no problem for us, since we expected it and weren't travelling too heavy, but in case this is a problem for someone.

Ann, the host was very nice and friendly, very understanding about my late check in because of delayed and missed trains. She answered quickly all my questions in sms. Paul sent me a very detailed e mail with information about everything needed. They refunded me the difference, by mistake i booked for two and ment for one. I was very impressed. Warmly recommend.

B. wo kann man gut essen...wir bekamen sofort gute Tipps, inkl. Wegbeschreibung. Paul ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir werden wieder dort buchen und können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Man kommt auch fußläufig übersll bequem und schnell hin.

• Sandra (8/5): - Sehr netter Vermieter. Er hat uns tolle und nützliche Tipps zu Antwerpen gegeben. Das Frühstück hat der Vermieter zu unserer gewünschten Uhrzeit aufs Zimmer gebracht. Es gab Brötchen, Croissant, Käse, Wurst, Marmelade, Joghurt, frischgepressten O-Saft, Kaffee und Tee. Alles um einen guten Start in den Tag zu haben. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiter empfehlen !!!
• Paul (2/5): Would not go back - No lift but owner, Paul, carried our small bags to second floor. The B &B is in a 100 year old building which was up graded windows, fixtures, but the stairs very narrow and steep. It would be very discult for a strong man to carry a large suitcase up the stairs because you must hold on to the hand rail as to climb and a large bag would'nt fit in stair well. Bed spread and pillow cases didn't seem clean.

• Charlotte (10/5): Appartement idéal et précieux conseils - Notre séjour chez Ann et Paul s’est très bien passé. Paul a été très accueillant et de bon conseil. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. L’appartement est situé dans le sud de la ville, le centre ville historique est très accessible à pied ou en vélo. La petite cuisine est un plus. Encore merci à Paul qui a participé à notre découverte de cette belle ville flamande !

• Di (10/5): Ideal place to stay and explore Antwerp - We arrived at B&B because the night and were greeted by Paul. He helped us with our bags, he helped my husband find a place to park then showed us around our room on the top floor which was great. The room had everything you would need for a great stay, massive bed, kitchen if like us you like to have a brew and your breakfast before setting out to explore, and great shower room. Paul is a great host telling us all about Antwerp and the best places to walk around, or visit, get a local beer marking places on a map for us to get our bearing from. It's right in the city so great to visit all the sites. Wish we had booked a longer stay.

Antwerpen Zuid ist etwas abseits der großen Touristenströme, viele nette Restaurants in der Nähe und mit dem Leihfahrrad (s. velo-antwerpen.be) vielleicht 10 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

• Becky (10/5): Great place in the heart of Antwerp - We were greeted by friendly owner Paul and helped with parking (there's free parking in a square very nearby), and he made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The room we had was well kitted out, (including fridge, nice shower, nifty lighting system!) pleasant (lovely big windows), clean and comfortable (mattress was really good). It was in a great location, walking distance from everywhere, with loads of nice eating and drinking places around. If we are back in Antwerp we would love to stay here again!

Der Besitzer Paul war sehr liebenswürdig und hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben.
