We used plastic bags to set on to not get our clothes dirty. It may have been just stains, but I believe a could scrub with cleaner would of made them appear not so dirty.

I will definitely be back. - We were pleasantly surprised that the resort has a brand new pool overlooking the bay. The pavillion was a great spot to just hang out, the beach was private and clean, the room was comfortable (especially the bed/pillows). While the kitchen did have enough to get by, it would have been nice to have a few more items - ice trays or maker, cookie sheets/pizza pans, basic foil, paper plates, etc.

It was noisy because of the wind I couldn’t sleep good, the bed wasn’t that comfortable and I have a little trouble to get hot water in the shower.

We could see Nokomis beach was quite crowded near public parking but this location is far enough away that we had plenty of space to enjoy the beach without the crowd. We enjoyed being able to walk to get lunch and ice cream. We were disappointed the covered space by the beach only had one table. It was almost always in use by another family. The door on our room did not deadbolt or chain or have any other lock other than the key. The room served it's purpose but needed some TLC.

- Andrea (1/5): Very unprofessional and disappointing - We booked the room for my bday, arrived to the location at the time we specified when booking. No one was onsite and/or avail to speak w us or to help us check in and inform us which room was ours. After several attempts and over an hour wait, all the while over 100$ in food was getting cold in our car, we were unable to reach anyone. Another guest there attempted to reach a manager and owner during our attempts w no luck as well. Eventually we had to drive around town (to which we were not familiar)to find another hotel for the night. Very unprofessional and disappointing

- Stacey (5/5): Passable - Loved the quick access to the beach and pretty sunsets -the room was HOT. The ac could barely cool the room to a comfortable temperature. We were sweating just getting ready for our dinner reservations. Even went out and bought a box fan to be able to sleep. (We are Florida locals - we aren’t new to the heat but this was rough) - customer service was awful leading up to our stay, wouldn’t book again based on that alone honestly. Once we checked in though, it was easy to get ahold of a staff member when needed. - our room was not clean upon check in. There were coffee stains on the kitchen counter, hairs on our bedding (the bedding is white) , and debris in the sink. For almost 250$ a night we were extremely disappointed.. we are locals that just wanted to check out a new place for a little stay-cation and unfortunately won’t be back. You live and you learn!

My confirmation price was not what they charged us (we were charged $47.75 more). I tried calling, texting and emailing this place for an explanation, but I get not reply. I not sure that I will go through a 'third party' to book reservations in the future.

I loved how close we were to the Beach and Pops Sunset Grill was amazing for a place to eat both breakfast and dinner and was a quick walk over the bridge to get to. The only thing I'd change is that the hot water heater made so much noise all night and the shower would make the whole floor in the bathroom wet and slippery after it was used. Still a really cute and perfect little place for a couple or two people!
- Annebeth (9/5): Best beach in Florida - Perfect location right at the beach, with sand and waves and swimming facilities. Nice porch to relax and very friendly staff. Breakfast at breakfast cottage (15 min drive) and Pelican Alley for fresh fish platters and more just around the corner. Wildlife encounters with gopher turtle in the backyard, nest of ospreys on the bridge nearby and many seabirds flying by. Perfect way to detox after a long flight and start the holiday!

Across the river from what appeared to be a public boat launch. The bathroom was open to the room. Only a blind that didn’t close all the way was between the head of the bed and 3 ft from toilet. No privacy. It was awful. Th were r was only a curtain for a door.

Private Beach area and tiki were clean and wonderful. We had a private lanai and small shared patio off our our bungalow. Staff was superb! Cheryl was amazing. Cant wait to return in 2026! Nothing I didn't like.
