Guest Reviews
- Erik (9/5): -
- Russell (9/5): - Nice location and the staff was great I’m not sure whose fault it was but I booked a handicap room for my daughter and we didn’t get that and they said they didn’t have one available.
- KS80537 (8/5): A Good Option In Muskogee - Our room had comfortable beds with quality mattresses and pillows - very important! Oddly, the reservation system showed that only rooms with a single King bed were available, but when we got there the talkative SoCal guy told us they only had rooms with two Queens - which we greatly preferred! The bathroom was where Candlewood really dropped the ball - poor caulking and someone else's hair left on the soap tray. Also, there was no towel rack, and no fan - a pretty big omission.
Just a question: why do hotels use curtains that billow out when the A/C is on?
- Justin (6/5): - Booked through the app got there to check in guy said he found the reservation but needed my card then proceeded to swipe it for an additional $113 without even letting me know what he was doing or why just swiped my card like it belonged to him,
- Mark (2/5): - The maid staff disturbed us twice while we had a do not disturb magnet on the door.
- Lesley (5/5): - Tv would not work even after being fixed still didnt work
- Keyara (1/5): This place sucks will never be back at this hotel - Nothing Everything and the fact they charged my card to times my room was 249 they took out all together 500 dollars out of my account
- Devin (4/5): - Check in took a long time due to only one person working (not front desk girls fault she was a sweetheart) , several different men walking through staring all gross like, stinky halls, and rooms. Not a safe place to stay alone unless you are packing.
- Josh (4/5): - Floors not very clean and highway noise is very loud.
- Elmer (2/5): Do not stay there. - The bed kept sliding the mastest off of the frame, you hit your legs on the frame and it hurts. Ice machine did not work no ice. Cover was of very poor quality. Had a handicap person chech up in a very long time for him to get everything done.
- Bodilt (7/5): Good - coffee machine broken, water on the floor from the ac and a musty smell in the room
- Chuck (8/5): It was alright - The location was perfect. Easy to find. Only one accessible elevator. Room was on far end, making the walk challenging.
- Jared (10/5): - Good stay.
- Ralph (6/5): - The property was fine. I did not like it when they issued someone else the key to my room.
- rhonda (10/5): - Beds were like clouds to sleep on
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- STEPHANIE (6/5): - The night shift person was not fully trained and not personable at all. The room was not fully stocked. Also just felt like a hotel for people working away from home. Wouldn't stay again.
- Renfro (1/5): not worth the price, a rip off, and a complete disaster - everything except the lack of a bathtub getting kicked out a day early, my car being vandalized, and being told they didn't want my kind on their property
- Gabriel (10/5): - The hotel is very clean and tidy it was a very good quiet get away for us
- Kayla (10/5): - While there is no free breakfast, the rooms do come with an induction stove top. We were able to save money by cooking our own food.
- Aurora (10/5): - The front desk lady was very nice and friendly. She greeted us every time we entered and exited
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheila (10/5): - Very nice and I felt safe
- Tyler (10/5): Great - The beds were soft and the room had a lot of space.
- Kay (8/5): - Cleanliness
- April (10/5): - Beautiful, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again
- James (1/5): Bad - Facility looks clean The staff and manager were the rudest most uninviting people ive ever dealt with
- Robert (2/5): TV or bust - The tv in the room did not work and staff could not fix it. This is about the only thing we value besides a bed and a bathroom. Very disappointing. Will not stay at a Candlewood again.
- Nance (1/5): Bad - We got there and there wasn't a room available and I need my money back
- Nieshail (10/5): Happy Guest - I feel that on weekends at the peak hours that there is 2 front desk agents to make your check in experience easier
- Nieshail (10/5): Satisfied guest - Stay was great even though the front desk guy was new he did well as far as getting me checked in the room was very clean the view was nice i enjoyed my stay
- Douglas (4/5): Disappointing -
- Alfredo (10/5): - Room was clean wish is the main thing for me.
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marjorie (10/5): - It's great
- Holly (7/5): Good - It was easy to find, and kind staff. Felt someone clean, but also a little dirty
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Madison (3/5): Poor -
- Madison (1/5): Bad -
- Terri (8/5): - Clean rooms friendly staff, close to restaurants and shopping
- Roderick (2/5): I’ve never Been discriminated against like this. - It was absolutely terrible, upon check in Staff let someone in my room, and then refused to call police to remove the lady from my room. Then once the discrepancy was resolved later that night, room 302 was occupied by myself and my fiancé, the lady that was in my room upon check in was beating on doors in the hotel. The morning of the 13th, I was told to go see the manager and was told that I was trespassing and to leave the premises, when I left, I left my entire music studio in room 302, someone was allowed in the room and stole my entire studio.
- Tyahna (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness
Staff
Room Not enough covers when temperature dropped outside
- Kenneth (8/5): Overall, the stay was good, staff was great! - Clean and updated Broken elevator, however, they accommodated our need for a first floor room due to my daughter having a broken foot. Overall, the staff was great, but that elevator needs to be fixed ASAP!
- Michael (3/5): I had to find another place to stay - The elevators were broken. My wife couldn’t walk up them
- Doris (7/5): I did not take pictures. - There was no breakfast but there was a nice coffee pot. I liked the kitchen set up. I had a cup of my herbal tea the night I arrived. No breakfast. The shower was a wheelchair accessible shower the shower curtain was too high. And water dripped on the nice flooring. The floor had standing water when I finished showering. I mopped up the water with the bath mat and bath towel.
- Corey (10/5): - It was a very nice hotel
- Crystal (9/5): Superb -
- Harry (9/5): Superb - great accommendations
- Justin (10/5): - Very nice clean room, only complaint is the tv would be at full blast volume every time you turned it back on.
- Randy (10/5): - Chris and all the staff were incredible!!
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): Perfect! - Pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean the room was.
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Jill (1/5): Couldn't stay. - nothing They wouldn't accept my cat, so we couldn't stay there. Everywhere else we've stayed, "pet friendly" means dogs and cats, but oh no, not here. So, if kitty can't stay, we can't stay. I'll never book at Candlewood Suites again. Anti-cat organization.
- Curtis (6/5): - Some bugs in room
- Aurora (6/5): It was decent - The bed was great The stove in the room was broken would not work
- Kristal (10/5): - Staff was friendly, our room was clean. The air was cold. The shower was probably my favorite. Great one night stay.
- James (10/5): Nice clean. Staff great - Very nice Hotel. Very clean
- Lena (10/5): - First the staff are friendly and helpful. Next the room was fully equipped with cups, plates, dish towels etc. shampoo and conditioner was great. Also, it was very quiet although it is near a busy highway.
- James (8/5): other than no coffee, it was what we needed. - location and able to have the rooms together Coffee machine was broken and they didn't even have regular coffee packets for the rooms. We don't do decafe.
- Patricia (10/5): Family times - Quick overnight trip with family
- James (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): Great place!!! - You could still smell that the carpet was new. Beds was super comfy.
- Josie (10/5): - Amazing as always will return again
- Shavon (1/5): Bad - Nothing. How nasty it was.
- Allen (9/5): Superb -
- Ramanathan (8/5): For highway travellers and experienced truckers - While popular with few truck drivers, a better and bigger space to maneuver trucks will be helpful.
- mcjargett (10/5): The perfect hotel - This hotel was fantastic. The employees were very personal and catered immediately to any of my requests. The bed was perfect. The only thing I would say is be careful wen you step into shower. The tub floor is a bit slippery. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again.
- Sid (5/5): Passable - Junk in the garbage disposal
- Ann (10/5): - Went to the local Ren faire, this hotel was in a great location for it
- Lourdes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (2/5): - The gentleman in the front desk was very nice and helpful, when we got to the room the bath tub was not cleaned, had mold and hair in it. The door was not shutting right, and the coffee maker downstairs was not working . Not very happy with the service.
- Emma (10/5): - Super clean and very nice!
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- T. (9/5): It was very very clean which is I wanted most of all. -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Muskogee Stay - After a deep search they did find our reservation. Somehow it had been cancelled. The clerk was able to still get us a room for the days we needed. It was clean and well lit. Everyone was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The only downside was we could hear the person above us walk around all morning.
- Vickie (5/5): Won’t be back - Staff Bathrooms were nasty hair on beds and floor
- Amber (6/5): - Had been overbooked so long line of people at checkin. Clerk explaining they didn’t have any rooms even though the customer had paid and had confirmation. My room key wouldn’t work so had to keep coming back to the main desk into this chaos. Took an hour to get into my room after I had the first key.
- Matthew (8/5): - Room was exactly what I needed for the day of festivities I had planned. Bathroom sink was in a bit of disrepair but everything was clean and stay was enjoyable.
- Cody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aislynn (10/5): I was super impressed by this hotel, friendly staff, and clean rooms. I will gladly stay again. - The location was perfect. We were there for the Renaissance festival and this hotel was very close. We normally stay at another hotel but it was pricier than usual this year so we decided to try this one instead and it was honestly better! I don’t have any complaints. I can’t think of anything that could have been better. My husband’s only complaint was probably the spider we found in the lobby near the entrance but that was taken care of haha.
- Kim (10/5): The stay was wonderful and comfortable! - Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet surroundings and bathroom was modern and updated. Levels of body wash could have been better. Nice amenity to have, but not great when the bottle was empty.
- jose (2/5): - 3 days without clean bathroom and floor
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Lori (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were large and very clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room was not good for me. - I thought this looked like a great hotel, but there were a couple of big problems. I am a light sleeper and with no curtains to cover the window and block out all of the city lights, that was a negative. Also the choice of only a sheet or a sheet and a big, heavy comforter, made sleeping very difficult. Third. the A/C unit made a loud rumble every time it kicked in. I was curious why I needed to be on the 3rd floor near the end of the hallway, even though I checked in before 6pm. To top it off, the bathroom sink drain was clogged up. The room was clean and comfortable with nice features, but it was not a good room for me.
- Michael (10/5): - The refrigerator ran really loud. Exiting the property was a challenge as it was next to a major 6 lane highway.
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (1/5): Bad -
- Trina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brandon (10/5): Relaxing - Enjoyed my stay: very comfortable
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfortable room. Staff was so friendly and professional. Best stay we’ve had in Muskogee.
- Verified traveler (2/5): HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Horrible! We brought a car trailer with our $100,000+ race car on it. They demanded us to park in a unlit, unsafe grass side lot that was completely out of sight of the hotel. There were only 5 cars parked in the entire parking lot and we planned on leaving at 7am the next morning. Surely, they could’ve spared a couple extra spots to accommodate us. NOPE! We ended up having to find another hotel to stay at, after having driven 11+ hours to get here. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Totally unacceptable customer service.
- Robin (10/5): - Awesome room
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Escape40755253701 (2/5): Very disappointed - No posted policy on parking policy made up at their convenience other policy’s also made up. front desk clerk grabbed a can out of the hand of another customer before saying no alcohol allowed no sign saying no alcohol meanwhile other customers were drinking in the pavilion area for days before and after I would never stay at this place again the front desk clerk Randall was very disrespectful to the customers but the girls were very nice and housekeepers were nice
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was excellent. The guy opens the door for every single customer.
- Randal (8/5): - Had a nice stay but disappointed no breakfast.
