- Louise (8/5): -
- KENTARO (8/5): スタッフが親切で立地もよくて満足した - 立地がよい
スタッフがとても親切
- Irene (10/5): We only stayed one night as we were waiting for our Galapagos tour boat but would happily have stayed longer. We would d - Location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable.
- Janet (7/5): Convenient location and friendly staff - The hours are too limited. Ended at 8:30am! We had to bring chairs off balcony for seating in the guest room
- Thierry (10/5): Super hôtel très bien placé - Emplacement Rien
- Jie (8/5): -
- MARIA BELEN (3/5): - Nada Sucio, cucarachas, muy caro para el servicio
- Alexa (10/5): - la ubicacion es excelente y mi cuarto con balcon con la vista increible !
- Patrick (10/5): We enjoyed 2 restful nights in this beautiful, perfectly located and comfortable hotel - At first we had booked an interior room but when we got there I asked if we could upgrade to an ocean view room. They were able to oblige, which made a huge difference. Our room had a delightful little balcony on which to sit and look out on the harbor. At night it became even more beautiful. The aesthetic of the room and overall decor is simple and modern. The shower was hot and good pressure (easily the best shower we had at any of our 4 hotels in the galapagos). The view from the rooftop breakfast area was even better! I was worried about outside noise given the location is central to the main drag of the port, but somehow it didn't bother me at all while sleeping. The staff was very friendly and the shop next door is well stocked. I enjoyed sitting in the free-to-hotel-guests massage chair for twenty minutes and let it unwind some of the knots acquired from all our snorkeling. 100% would stay again!
- Karl (9/5): Very nice in perfect location - Nice and big rooms, clean, perfect location
Very friendly staff and very helpful Breakfast was minimal and every morning the same.
- Debbie (3/5): Stunning location, very poor value for money - Great Location
Very pleasant reception staff OVERPRICED - not good value for money
Shower was a dribble, was raised but not resolved
Breakfast was awful, limited low quality food and only available for 1.5 hours
Quality of furnishings was poor. Pillow cases soiled.
Very noisy late night music penetrating room
- Lee (6/5): Great location but expensive. - Location is great but the cost is high for a fairly basic set up. Property was very clean, we did however suffer some nasty bites which appeared after the first night, however these could be from a previous property. Staff moved us to another room and deep cleaned the room so at least they dealt with it correctly. Breakfast was poor.
- Wojciech (7/5): Great location and welcoming staff, but the limited breakfast and street noise don’t justify the high cost. - The location is convenient and the staff were welcoming, supermarket in the same building, clean rooms. This hotel is among the more expensive options in San Cristóbal, but I found the breakfast rather limited, consisting only of toast, eggs, and a couple of apple slices. For the price, I expected a bit more variety. In addition, some street noise came through the open bathroom ventilation, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.
A localização é a melhor possível. O chuveiro é fraco e a internet é ridiculamente lenta. O café da manhã é mais simples.
- Daniel (10/5): - We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was nice. Max at the front desk was SUPER helpful and pleasant. Aside from that, an excellent location to enjoy the best of San Cristóbal island has to offer. We didn't want to leave.
- José David (7/5): -
- Adrienne (10/5): Great hotel and exceptional staff - The hotel, staff and breakfast were all excellent. The location is right on the port with many of the rooms, and balconies, overlooking th water and beautiful sunsets. A special call out to the staff who were incredibly supportive during a tsunami evacuation, going so far as making sure we got to the airport after the all clear.
- Valeria (7/5): Bom nos quartos com vista - O hotel é bom, bem localizado, e com camas confortáveis. Os quartos internos são muito fechados, por isso recomendo fortemente que peguem um quarto com vista.
- Mark (10/5): - Fantastic location. If you get the good rooms, you’re overlooking the peer
- Scott (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was updated and clean. The location was perfect right next to the pier and in the heart of the town.
- Lenora (10/5): - Great location, nice rooms & friendly staff.
- Tatiana (10/5): -
- Tatiana (10/5): - Probably the best place to stay in San Cristobal. Good WiFi, nice view of the pier. Staff is very helpful, always with a smile
- Gerald (10/5): - Great room and location!
- Catherine F. (10/5): - Great location
Wonderful overall
- travellinman2009 (10/5): Fantastic Views of the Harbor - We really loved the fantastic views from our balcony during the last four days of our trip through the Galapagos. There is so much going in the harbor and along the waterfront, it was fascinating just relaxing out there and watching all the boats and sea lions (who knew that sea lions could jump out of the water like dolphins).
We found Puerto Baquerizo Moreno to be a pleasantly attractive town and seafront. The hotel is in an ideal location just a very short walk from the ferry pier. And the sunsets are magnificent.
There were one or two technical difficulties during our stay and the breakfast really needs to be improved (terribly limited and repetitive). But we loved the atmosphere so much I had to give this hotel a 5-star review.
- Hyunsoo (6/5): - One major issue was that I was given an interior room with no windows, which was not clearly disclosed in the booking advertisement. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The location is very convenient right next to the pier and the main street.
- Susan (10/5): Charming Hotel in the Heart of San Cristobal - The was amazing! Max and Susanna were wonderful hosts/front desk personnel. They were always helpful and spoke English very clearly which was also helpful. We were a little spoiled, and had the top room that had the terrace with an amazing view and access to the eating area next door. You could hear the sea lions outside, and the hotel was easily assessable to everything. It's literally across the street from the port/ferry. There's a little mini market next-door, which made things convenient and they provide filtered water on each floor of the hotel. The only downside was the stairs after a long day, but San Cristobal was so special and didn't really matter. The breakfast were also very good. They made to order eggs every morning and had fruit and yogurt. I will definitely stay there again!
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, friendly staff.
- vamsikk9 (8/5): Great views & good rooms - Room had a great view of the marina & pier, with picuturesque sunsets every day. Room was spacious and had most of the amenities you expect. Air conditioning was excellent, and they even had an air purifier.
Bathroom was decent, with a good shower. But there was no place to keep toileteries.
Service was very good.
Breakfast was disappointing - for the price they charged, there should have been more options. They only had eggs (made any way you want), white bread, & some limited fruit options.
Location was excellent. Plenty of restaurants & stores within walking distance, and the pier for boarding boat tours just steps away.
- Dawn (10/5): - Very nice for the stay
- BanffMtnMan1 (10/5): Terrific Oasis in the Archipelago! - What a welcome spot to visit towards the end of 2 weeks cruising and exploring the Galapagos! This Galapagos Sunset hotel was clean, modern and had hot showers! The entire staff and especially the GM Andrea were very helpful, spoke excellent English, and gave terrific recommendations for restaurants or other things to do in the area!
The beds were comfortable, the pillows lovely, the air conditioning beautiful!
Breakfast was also nice with personal eggs/omelets, fruit, juice, etc.
Highly recommended!
- Bourke (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location next to Pier. Easy walk everywhere. Max great to welcome us and throughout our stay. Apartment top floor at front...great views. Nothing
- Jennifer Cristin (10/5): Great spot in San Cristobal - My husband and I stayed 4 nights April 4-8. The location is right at the pier to catch boat for excursions and near all of the sea lions. There is a great little store right next door with excellent lattes/coffee and nice snacks, beer, suntan lotions etc. lots of restaurants super close. It was a great spot and very clean. Andrea and Max st the front desk were very nice and helpful. AC worked really good!!
- Malcolm (10/5): - Convenient for excursions and the pier. Right on the water. Room 9 is exceptional
- RockyRaccoon (10/5): Absolutely loved our stay here - Our only regret is that we were only here for a few days. We loved our visit at the Galapagos Sunset. Perfect location. Just perfect. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony that looks right onto the pier and water. Truly, the cornerstone of the entire port area. Breakfast is service upstairs in an open air rooftop setting. Staff is extremely pleasant and very helpful. If we come back to the Galapagos, there is no doubt we will stay here.
- Tina (9/5): Superb - All of our tours started early, so we had bagged lunches. I'm sorry we missed them.
- Jeff (10/5): The perfect hotel, great location, amazing staff - Our stay was amazing. The hotel is very modern, great A/C. The location is the best. Right in the middle of everything with a view of the water. Any excursions leaving on boats leave right out front of the hotel. The staff was amazing and speaks English perfect. Breakfast on the roof over looking the water was a great way to start the day. Don't forget the convent store right in the bottom of the hotel that has soft server ice cream. Could not say enough great things about this place.
- Muna (8/5): Very Good Hotel - Hospitable, helpful, warm and welcoming staff. Very good service. Perfect location right on the dock. Mini market just next door. ATM around the corner. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes' walk along the dock. Room 9 was large and comfortable with a lovely terrace overlooking the marina. The bugs in the room. No shower handle. Just a fitted ceiling spout.
- yuval (6/5): Not recommended - A small hotel on the beach in an excellent location.
The room we got was large and spacious. It had everything we needed except the bathroom. There was no shelf to put things in and the angle of the shower floor was reversed.
Two significant problems with the hotel: Wi-Fi is very weak and often disconnects. There is none in the room and none in the small public area that there is.
We contacted the nice receptionist about it, but he was unable to fix it for a long time. We were in the hotel for about two days and most of the time inside. So it definitely works weakly and little. Unfortunately, I have read reviews in the past that complained about this and the hotel promised to take care of it. They didn't.
Another thing that needs improvement is the meager breakfast served. Omelette made to order, one type of cornflakes and 3 small pieces of fruit. No vegetables and no cheese. Anything else has to be requested and is unpleasant.
There wasn't even a fan. The place was so humid. It wasn't pleasant to sit there. I can't even imagine air conditioning.
A positive point is the free massage chair. I really enjoyed it!
In conclusion, in my opinion, the price (almost $190 per night) is not justified.
- Jeff (10/5): - Comfortable rooms, a beautiful rooftop deck for breakfast and incredibly convenient to everything you need in town. The staff were amazingly friendly!
- Christopher (10/5): - Great customer service, clean and comfortable room, nearby dining/shopping, and is located at a very convenient location.
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bidzina (10/5): - Nice hotel, a walking distance from the port and a number of good restaurants. Go for a sea view room. They are definitely worth a slightly higher price. We liked everything about the hotel, apart from wifi, which is slow and unreliable. People working in the hotel are amazing.
- davidsP8049MK (10/5): A great hotel - This was an unbelievable place. There are 8 rooms, all of which are wonderful. They have breakfast on the roof with a view of the ocean. we had a lot of interaction with Max and Andrea who work there and are very kind, knowledgable and helpful. They were there for our every need. The location of the hotel was also really great. Close to restaurants, bars and the water. I highly recommend staying there.
- Charlene (6/5): - For the price of an average of USD 300 per night, room was rather pricey. Quality of housekeeping also needs improving. Found rather unpleasant dirt/hair in the bottle of handwash during my stay and room amenities (shower gel, shampoo) were evidently not cleaned for awhile. Bathroom is tiny even for 2 people. Lack of hanging space for clothes in the room. For rooms with balcony, apparently laundry drying rack can be provided on request. Would have been good if this was made known early on during check in. Hotel offers prime location to port and is close to dining options. Breakfast was a tad too basic. Box breakfast available on request.
- jennam304 (10/5): Awesome! Highly recommend! - My husband and I had 3 great nights at this hotel - perfect location with fantastic views of harbor. We had room 9 on the 3rd floor which is very good size, perfectly clean, and has a large balcony. The staff (Max and Andrea at the desk) were very helpful and friendly. The town is small but this hotel is right in the center of everything and just 10 minutes from airport. We hope to be back some day and highly recommend to anyone visiting San Cristobal!
- 0Pete_23 (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Lovely hotel by the main pier just a ten-minute drive from the airport. We were allocated room 6 on the second floor, the hotel has no lifts so those with walking difficulties may have a problem. The room had two double beds, fridge, microwave, filter coffeemaker although no milk was provided (it could be purchased from the small café, come shop next door, which was part of the hotel) and no kettle. There was a safe, ample wardrobe space, a TV and the room had both air-conditioning and a dehumidifier. The bathroom had a good-sized walk-in shower with toiletries provided. There was a small balcony with table and chairs which looked out over the bay. Breakfast was served on the top floor where there were great views. Breakfast which was served to you consisted off, coffee/tea, juice, toast and eggs however you wanted them. Outside the room was a small water purifier to fill up your water bottles. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful.
- Cathy (9/5): A great hotel option on the water. - This hotel is perfectly situated right on the main street overlooking the water. The front desk staff were fantastic and very helpful. Loved the view from our room and the property's close proximity to everything. This property does not have an elevator.
- Lisa (10/5): - Wonderful staff and prime location!
- Jaime Febres (10/5): - Great location suites with peer view
- Marek (9/5): Superb - Great place for Galapagos exploration base. Very close to the pier. It wasn't loudly at all, though we were staying in lower season. This is no-frills hotel. New building, good quality, clean, safe, nice people. Nothing luxury, but you don't need it in Galapagos. Wi-Fi was slow sometimes.
- Annie (8/5): Very good - Perfect location for a cruise the next day. Friendly staff, good views Nicest room with view is on top floor. Lots of steps. Staff very nice about bringing up your luggage, just something you should be aware of.
- rlainez71 (10/5): Sunset at the Galápagos Sunset Hotel - Love this hotel as it was our 1st time there! The hotel has breath taking views of the Sunset 🌇 The hotel staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave us recommendations on what to do with our time being it was our 1st time in The Galápagos. Alberto the front desk agent gave us great food recommendations and he was spot on. The ownership Susan and her husband were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant with not only us, but all thier guest. This is a family hotel and a gem of a hotel. It really shows the investment and Love they put into the property. I 100% recommend this hotel as we will be back and staying with them again.
- Andrezza (8/5): Very good -
- Andrezza (8/5): Very good -
- Annabella (10/5): Great place to stay, super friendly/helpful staff - This is a really nice hotel with everything you need when you are on the island. The room is very comfortable, it is close to everything with everything you need. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions about the area and made recommendations. I would highly recommend the hotel.
- STANLEY (10/5): - Great view of marina from balcony, extremely friendly and helpful staff! Thanks!
- Shereen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lily (9/5): Superb -
- Trek26881297097 (10/5): Lovely Galapagos Sunset Hotel - A lovely boutique hotel located along the waterfront, in the heart of town. Beaches, restaurants, shop, tours are all within easy walking distance. Some rooms have a terrace overlooking the water, a perfect place to end your evening and an amazing view of the sunset. The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is fresh cooked for you each morning with care and a smile, it’s more than enough to start your day. We had a wonderful time in San Cristobal and would definitely recommend.
- Cynthia (10/5): Perfect room with a view. - Our room directly out across the bay. We were one floor up and easily watched the sunrise and the street and pier wake up - that includes sea lions. Bed was comfortable, shower strong water flow. Staff helpful and friendly. We’ll return! Liked everything.
- Cander14 (10/5): Best hotel in town - The absolute best hotel in the Galapagos!!!! The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well considering how humid it was. The breakfast was on the top deck with a view of the entire harbor. And the food was made to order, very good. We were only supposed to be there 3 nights. We loved it so good we stayed an extra 3 nights. The staff was friendly and helped us with everything we needed.
- 447larsa (10/5): Fantastic start to Island Hopping - This was our first hotel on the Islands, and unfortunately, we had just one night here. The welcome was personal and professional, the rooms comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning was able to keep the heat in check without noise. The hotel's location is ideal, just across the street from the harbor, minutes from the boat pier, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was served on the roof with an amazing view of the water.
- susanrT836FW (10/5): Fantastic little hotel. - I absolutely loved this hotel. The room was bright, staff cheerful and it had all the amenities I needed. I washed dome clothes out whilst there and found the staff delivered a clothes airer to hang them on. Bathroom was good. Nothing I can fault. Thoroughly recommend.
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Consierge Alberto was brilliantly helpful helping organise trip options for us.
- dianamna (6/5): Very average stay - Small hotel, very noisy sea lions around it especially at night. Rooms are very basic and breakfast barely consists of eggs and a couple of toasts. Staff is ok
Not extra helpful. Would not recommend it if staying more than one night. Good location, 10 mn from the airport
- Amy (9/5): I would definitely return - location and rooms no elevator. price was elevated.
- Suzanne (9/5): Superb -
- Roscoe (10/5): - All good .
- Lann (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (10/5): a great place to stay. actually the best and only great place! - central location and helpful staff
- 781jodip (10/5): 5 days in Paradise - This boutique hotel was the highlight of our trip. Reception was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable, clean, roomy, and well stocked. Location was very central to restaurants and shopping. The mini market on the ground floor had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was a nice touch, but ended a little too soon for our day. Our balcony had an amazing view of the harbor and the street below. We will definitely return someday.
- rnjn (10/5): The best in San Cristobal - The Galápagos Sunset is probably the best hotel on the Island. The location is second to none and the rooms are nice and large with all amenities. breakfast on the roof top overlooking the harbor is an additional attraction and you can get anywhere with minutes. The stay are very helpful and fantastic. O would recommend this hotel to everyone.
I would stay anywhere else.
- Balu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly staff and great location - Rooms are clean and Max (front desk) was exceptionally friendly. breakfast was very good. While rooms look clean and great on photos, living without extra space where to hang clothes makes room messy in reality. Why not add some extra hooks in the bathroom? Or near the door? Our luggage was always open and no plave where to put it. Also adding mirror in the room or outside shower is useful. We had one mirror in the bathroom and it was not convinient.
- Balu (10/5): Exceptional -

- Chemtrailer (8/5): Wonderful - This is a spotlessly clean 9-room, 4-storey boutique hotel located in the heart of PBM. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with everything you need for travel. The breakfast, on the top floor open air dining area is not to be missed. Fresh ingredients and delicious fare. Great coffee!
Filtered drinking water is available on two floors and beach towels can be obtained from the front desk.
The views are spectacular and span across the harbour and waterfront. As the property name suggests, the view of the sunsets from the top floor are something to behold each evening.
The hotel is located on Charles Darwin Avenue meaning everything is mere steps away including the two main piers from which ferries and tours embark. Total convenience.
Highly recommended property.
- MARIANELA (10/5): - Susana was so helpful. She gave us many recommendations. The breakfast was amazing fresh juice and eggs made for you by order. The best hotel in the whole vacation.we will definitely stay there again
- Carola (5/5): Nice view, no internet - The view The internet was not working
Didn’t have phone to call room service
The tv was with internet and it wasn’t working

Highly recommended property. Located on Charles Darwin Avenue, you're right on the busy Harbourfront which means typical street noise from 7am - 9pm. This is nobody's fault, it's just the nature of being situated in the heart of the main center. If you're looking for tranquil calm, peace and quiet then this might not be for you, but if you want to be mere steps away from restaurants, boutiques and tour company offices, then you'll be fine. It's quiet after 9pm.
- colbyb127 (10/5): Great location, helpful staff - Super convenient location which meant that we got lots of sleep and weren't late for any of our fishing or diving adventures. - 344karenh (10/5): Modern hotel with a lovely friendly welcome - The guys here were all so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is right on the harbour front. Rooms were a nice size and clean with aircon and with a balcony. There was a fridge in the room and also water cooler/dispensers on each floor. The welcome wine and chocate in the room was a nice touch.
- John (10/5): - Excellent water front hotel - we spent 2 nights here before boarding our cruise. 10 minutes walk from the airport, 1 minute walk to the pier for the cruise. Great staff.

The room and support from reception on where to visit and where to book trips was excellent. Nothing significant. maybe offer brown bread as well for toast!!!
