Mark (10/5): - Comfortable room, really nice sheets, new toilet and shower, great water pressure in the shower, all necessary personal care items in the room... Lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Don't hesitate, it is really nice. I arrived after hours and they let me know how to find my room and get in. For ease of location, it is near mile marker 84. My Google maps did not work in the area
Jo Anne (2/5): - The cabin was cute. There was leftover coffee and food in the freezer. Bathroom was very small. The advertised restaurant was closed. The small store was not well stocked and it was a ways to any other facilities.
Roy (6/5): - Room was much smaller than expected and would like to have at least 1 comfy chair. It had the other basics for sleeping one night (shower, fridge, one nightstand,heat). Probably best for one person; a bt crowded for 2. Seemed clean with fresh paint and good linens and pillows. Restaurant was very good, simple menu, good cook and service at a reasonable price.

Shane (10/5): - This was a great little place to stay while fishing in the Stanley/Lowman area. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. Having the diner right next door was extremely convenient.
Barbara (8/5): - Rooms could've been a little better maintained but it is in the middle of the mountains! It was a small space but perfect for our midway overnight stay. The staff were excellent! We temporarily misplaced our key.... this place is not manned after 7pm....i called, left a VM, sent an email, and a virtual chat.... anything to try and reach someone to help us get into our room... we had resolved to sleeping in the car. Then we had not 1, but 2 people show up to check on us! It was 9pm. The shower pressure was amazing and the attached restaurant was perfect to start our day the next morning.
Richard (10/5): - We didn't know exactly what to expect. We checked in about 45 minutes earlier than normal. Once in the cabin, we were surprised to find TV, a kitchenette, and Wi-Fi! The cabin was out of coffee (supplied by the lodge, along with creamer and sugar). The night went smoothly and we woke refreshed after a couple cups of coffee. Overall, it was a great change from pitching a tent. I will be recommending!

Kia (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Sourdough Lodge, they were very accommodating when we called because we had flight delays that made it so we weren’t going to be there until after midnight. The food at the lodge was very good and the staff was great about letting us know about things to do in the area. The location wasn’t bad, we were traveling to Stanley and Redfish each day and it wasn’t too far from both. Our room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, stayed warm and water pressure was great. We will stay again if we visit Idaho again.
Irma (4/5): - NO A/C and it was 93°! Some units did have window ac, ours did not. Mold or mildew inside shower door. TV did not work! Bed was VERY hard.

He wouldn't have been able to get back up if he used the futon couch or the adirondack chairs on the porch. We were able to borrow a chair he could sit on. It was still a cute place for him to stay as we were camping close. especially being the options were few in the area.
Earl (8/5): - Perfect place to stay when traveling as long as you aren’t too high maintenance. The rooms were a little dated but clean enough for me (I’m a Hampton Inn and up kind of person!). Only complaint is no A/C- could be a little more upfront about that but I imagine it does not get terribly hot in the area and we were thankful for the fan provided. The floors could use a little more mopping but otherwise it was perfect for us. What made it amazing was the convenient location, the quietness, and most importantly the friendly owners and staff! I would come back to visit and you definitely have to have their breakfast!

Conner (8/5): Did the job, Pros & Cons - Bed in the mountains with the basics. Not much around, so it did the job. Room smelled like people have smoked in it, a little hot, medium sized spider in the bathroom. Double-check they give you the right keys, they gave me the wrong ones then chased me down to correct it. But staff is very friendly, nice atmosphere. Would stay again if I had to pass through the region as there is not much out there.

Katrina (6/5): Thin walls - I wasn’t expecting much, but was very disappointed when my room smelled like old cigarettes. The walls were very thin. Which was only a problem in the morning when the neighbor children started screaming with glee early in the morning. Problem, resolved after I started playing my music to show how thin the walls were. Family got the message. I hope your neighbors are equally considerate.

Bethany (10/5): The Sourdough - The Sourdough is such a special amd charming little place- it's old and rustic and just tye kind of place we love here in Idaho.
Shreyes (10/5): - Great little property about 10 mins North of the town of Lowman, ID. Ideal if you're heading to Stanley or driving the scenic byway Route 21. Rooms are smaller and slightly older, but super clean and well kept. There's an attached restaurant and general store that you can grab a bite at. But keep in mind that they shut by 7:30pm. Overall super convenient and great experience!

Brenton (10/5): - Just the right amount of off the grid, 1.5 hours from cell coverage, but Wifi throughout the property, if needed. Many amazing hot springs close by and short walks from parking areas, and some a good hike to the reward. The Food in the lodge was hearty, well prepared and very tasty. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were all good!
Danielle (10/5): Awesome place - I just want to start off saying that the owners and staff are wonderful. We had a little car trouble on the way and the owner let us have a late super late check so we could get the problem sorted. The food was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and even with car trouble we had a great time and a great stay. I high recommend staying here.

Raymond J (6/5): - Nice location with access to places we wanted to visit. Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave in the summer and soon found out there is no A/C. And to make matters worse we had smokers parked outside our window contaminating the fresh air we were trying to make use of. The staff turned us onto a great bar with live music down the road.

Carolyn (2/5): Bad date trip - There was no view of anything other than the dry mountian. The coffee pot didn't work. Big spider's running around the bathroom. The store light was on all night. No air or even a fan to move the air. The restaurant food made us sick from all the old grease it was cooked in. Prices were really high on everything.
Danielle (2/5): - Heads up to anyone that likes to be cooled off during the summer - they DO NOT HAVE AC!!! The cabin was basically an oven - I cooled my child, three dogs and myself off with cold rags and laid next to a fan throughout the night. It was CRAZY how hot and uncomfortable this experience was. I have been traveling around Idaho with my son and dogs for years - we have stayed at multiple cabins, Airbnbs and hotels - this was the most uncomfortable place I’ve stayed at. The staff was very nice and the food was good but if you’re looking to be comfortable during an overnight stay in this heat - this is not it.

Maintenance didn't come everyday you had to ask for things. no clock. looking at a Mountain View was great but mostly saw gas pumps and lots of people coming and going. thought more privacy. sitting outside and watching traffic. But the food was excellent wish there was a choice for salads, Or dinners instead of sandwiches or burgers
William (10/5): Brief Getaway - I spent a couple of nights here while hiking in the Sawtooth Wilderness. This place is not hard to find; a restaurant and gas station are on the premises. I recommend it for anyone looking to spend time in the area.

Gerald (10/5): A great find - Old-school cabins. Like stepping back into 1962. Updated flooring and bathrooms wonderful place would stay there again in a heartbeat. Restaurant is all comfort food and very good.

Rodney (4/5): Went to check in, but did not stay. - My wife and I were going to a wedding out at the sawtooth mountain range. This sourdough Lodge in moment was fairly close to our location. On our way to the wedding we stopped in to check in at around 2:15 PM. We went into the restaurant and talked to the owner who said the room was not ready yet, but told us where it was. We went over to the lodge which as up front by the gas pumps and the blinds were in such a disarray where it looked like they wouldn’t close all the way. my wife said she did not want to stay there while people peeped in so we told them we would not be back. Last minute cancel so we were still charged for the night, which is understandable.

Jason (8/5): - We arrived on Thursday evening. Our room was ready and clean. The meal and service at the cafe was excellent. We rented a room, bit plan to rent a cabin for our next stay.
tracy (8/5): - Check in was quick and easy... the rooms are small... but it was just a place to sleep for us. Meals at the restaurant are very large (breakfast lasted 2 days). Be aware they only do made service when you leave, so if you need extra coffee or towels you can ask at the restaurant. Surroundings are quiet for the most part... definitely some MAGA influence in the area, so expect it.
meg (8/5): - The lodge is in a spectacular setting, easy access to the mts and river. The dinner at the restaurant was very good, staff super friendly and prices were reasonable. The bath and beds were super clean...I just happen to misplace an earring and looked under the bed. Yikes. If that got cleaned up, 5 stars for cleanliness!
Shelli (6/5): - It was over all a good place. The resturant staff was not the best. The bed was not comfortable. However ai would.stop again.
Harvey (10/5): Cute little place in the woods - The place is rustic and very small, not much space to move around. Bed & pillows were good, towels small also. Food at the restaurant was very good with ample portions. A deep cleaning would be advisable!

Dominic (6/5): - Our pillows and sheets were covered in black dog hair and my toddler found stuff under the bed as if it hadn’t been swept between reservations but overall it provided a place to sleep and shower which was what we needed.
