• Amandine (8/5): - Typique et Charmante Guesthouse aux extérieurs très bien décorés. Chambre double climatisée avec terrasse, grand lit confortable. 7 eleven à 8 minutes de marche, restaurants à proximité, marché de nuit à quelques minutes à pied, marché flottant d'Amphawa à 10 minutes de marche. Trop peu d'échanges avec les hôtes. Remise des clés au check-in, remise des clés au check-out. Je n'ai vu personne durant mon court séjour de 3 nuits.

• Gregory (9/5): Superb - The couple running this place were very friendly and helpful. It was only 5 mins walk to the small town. The accommodation i had was a 1 room bungalow in the garden. So peaceful. There is not much to do here other than chill out, walk along the river bank and go to the train market. 10 baht shared minivan. There is supposed to be a floating market here but I did not see it probably the wrong days or it had sunk. Nothing
• Edward (7/5): Tha Kha floating market via Grab taxi is well worth the visit. - Location. It was quiet. Very limited communication with the hosts. No suggestions about anything, and we had no idea where to go for breakfast! Nothing close by was open. Contrary to what the guide books say, the floating market is NOT open on Friday.
• Nick (7/5): Pleasant & quiet - Overall everything was pleasant. Nice to have a separate shower rather than a wet room affair. Hosts assisted us in getting a minibus/van back to Bangkok Bathroom walls could do with a scrub. Balcony rooms looked great but unfortunately we were in the lower room.

• Shiva (9/5): Recommended stay at Baan Chompoo - The owners did their best to help me out with my personal requests for transport, laundry and food. The amphawa floating market only operates 3 days in a week.

• Jane (9/5): Great place - The location is superb. Very near to Amphawa Floating market and there is a 7 Eleven nearby too. This was my second time staying in this homestay (2015 and 2022). We took 3 rooms and the homestay was occupied entirely by the 10 of us. The owner is very friendly and could speak English. She helped us in communicating with the tuk tuk driver and transporter, as the locals mostly could not understand English at all. The place is very clean, homely and comfortable. The rooms facing the main road are very noisy due to the passing vehicles..

A restaurant right across the road if you can’t be bothered walking the mere minutes to the market. amazing family running the place. The balcony room is my favourite and gives some good peace and quiet with your own outdoor space. Highly recommended!

I’ve been back twice in two weeks and booked the Balcony Room. highly recommended if you’re heading to the market for the weekend.

• Thi Thu Trang (8/5): Enjoyable trip. - Baan Chompoo Homestay is very clean and only 5 minutes walk to Amphawa Floating market. Breakfast was reasonable though not the best shower we had, but we were happy with out stay. You can catch songtheaw (public open ute) from across the road to go to Maeklong train market for 8baht per person so very cheap. No taxi available, however private car to Bangkok about 1200baht - The owner was nice to call and organise one when we requested.

• สิงโต (6/5): บ้านพักดีๆ - ห้องพักสะอาด บรรยากาศเหมือนบ้านยุคเก่า เวลาเดินบนชั้น2 จะได้ยินเสียงไ้ม้ลั่นเอี๊ยดอ๊าด รอบๆโรงแรมก็ร่มรื่น จัดแต่งเป็สัดส่วน ดูเป็นส่วนตัวดี
