• Francesca (10/5): Magnifique séjour de 2 jours à Bergamo - Je remercie Giuseppe pour l'accueil et sa ponctualité. Il avait même préparer une carte géographique pour les lieux à visiter et les rues commerciales. Geste très apprécié. Salle de bain et chambre impeccables avec tout le nécessaire comme indiqué et propre. Très bon emplacement entouré de bars, mini market et restaurants. Si je retourne à Bergamo, je réserverais sans hésiter cette même chambre. Je recommande !!!

• David (9/5): An excellent stay. We loved Bergamo and In Centro Charme was perfect for a three night break. - Our host, Guiseppe, met us upon arrival and was polite, friendly and helpful. The room was excellently located, spotlessly clean and well kept with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also newly fitted with a brilliant shower. Locally, there is an abundance of restaurants and eateries, a particular highlight being Osteria di Marco Maffeis which is located immediately below! One minor gripe was the lack of any bright light, e.g. over the bathroom sink for make up application.

Wokół dużo dobrych restauracji i lodziarni. Miły i pomocny Gospodarz też zasługuje na "10"😊 . Codzienne sprzątanie pokoju. Możliwość pozostawienia bagażu na dłużej po wymeldowaniu.

• caroline (9/5): Although the reception isn’t manned, Giovanni replies immediately to any request. Would highly recommend. - Like its name it is such a charming room with very good security and a very helpful host, Giovanni. Beautifully presented. Note: NO LIFT (but rooms are on the 1st floor)

Visu izstāstīja- kur var paēst,kas noteikti jāredz. 10 minūtes kājām līdz autoostas un vilcienu stacijai,kas palīdz ērti pārvietoties uz citām pilsētām. Arī līdz vecpilsētai 10 min.kājām. Kā mīnusu varu atzīmēt dzirdamību,jo siena, kur stāvēja gulta robežojas ar citas istabas vannasistabu, līdz ar to ļoti skaļa bija ūdens izmantošana. Bet ņemot vērā ka pēc pastaigām bijām noguruši, ātri aizmigām un īpaši uz skaņām nereaģējām

• Jacek (10/5): Znakomite miejsce na pobyt w Bergamo, polecam. - Gustownie i elegacko urządzony pokój ma wszystko co potrzeba czyli bardzo wygodne łóżko, szafę, stoliczek i niedużą lodówkę. Okno wychodzi na spokojną ulicę. Łazienka przestronna i czysta. Wszystko zgodnie z opisem. Doskonały kontakt z właścicielem, który na nas czekał blisko 3 godziny przed terminem zakwaterowania. Wszystko pokazał i zasugerował ciekawe miejsca w okolicy oraz dogodny transport do Citta Alta jak i do Mediolanu. Nic do zarzucenia.

• Carla (9/5): Comodo e confortevole appoggio per visitare Bergamo - La posizione è ottima, a due passi dal centro e dal parcheggio multipiano che ha costi accessibili. Nonostante la posizione centrale, nella struttura c'era silenzio. La camera era spaziosa e ben curata nei dettagli, così come il bagno, fornito di tutti i comfort. L'host è stato molto gentile; non trattandosi di un albergo abbiamo dovuto concordare l'orario di arrivo ma comunque è stato molto disponibile, anche nel consigliarci i ristoranti a Bergamo Alta e i modi migliori per spostarsi e parcheggiare. La colazione non era inclusa quindi non so dire...Il Cafè de Paris è a due passi e le brioche sono buone. Le camere sono tutte molto vicine (in pratica sono state ricavate dividendo un appartamento) e quando la mattina alle cinque i nostri vicini hanno iniziato a fare la doccia e a tirare lo sciacquone, era come avere l'acqua sopra il letto... per chi ha il sonno leggero, meglio portare dei tappi in caso di vicini mattinieri. Ma per soggiorni brevi questi dettagli non sono molto rilevanti. Personalmente ci tornerei perché i vantaggi superano questo piccolo neo.
• Victoria (8/5): We loved staying at In centro charle, the host was excellent, and Bérgamo and old town are just magnificent . - The location is perfect for the city centre exploring and it’s close to restaurants and the train station with links to the lakes and Milan There was a little noisy when other guests were loud , and there were some works being done at the nearby house do we could hear that during day time , but the windows had a really good sound insulation .

• Beatriz (6/5): Buena habitación en un apartamento bien ubicado pero con poca atención a los clientes - La ubicación es buena, cerca del centro de la ciudad baja. La calefacción tenía horario estipulado del que no se nos informó, tuvimos que preguntar porqué hacía frío en el baño, la roba de cama era insuficiente y no sabíamos que no limpiaban la habitación. Me pareció un poco caro para lo austeros que fueron los servicios.

• Elisabeth (8/5): Gute Lage für Leute, die mit Bahn und Stadtbus unterwegs sind. - Sowohl der Bahnhof wie auch die Bushaltestelle zur Cità alta sind nur ein paar Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und das Zimmer und Bad sind sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Bett könnte bequemer sein.

And the owner, Giuseppe, is incredibly friendly, organised and helpful. 🩵💛💚🫶The apartment is in a great location (10 minutes walk from the main train station) with easy access to the city and everything at our fingertips. We slept exceptionally well – the beds were very comfortable! And wonderful soft bedding! We lacked nothing. It was a perfect stay. We highly recommend it. -

The room had everything we needed, and we loved the design - brick walls and wooden ceilings- beautiful! Cannot imagine a better stay- totally recommended.
• Federico (10/5): Perfect location for exploring Bergamo. - The room is big and the location is perfect for exploring the upper part and the base. The host is also very helpful and friendly. Don’t hesitate to book it. The bus stop is about a two minute walk (coming and going to the airport) and so easy to get to. Tons of places to eat close-by. We would definitely stay there again.

• Alicja (8/5): Ogólnie dobrze oceniam pobyt w tym miejscu. Na krótki kilkudniowy wypad jest dobre. - Ładna praktyczna i czysta łazienka Klimatyzacja nie chłodziła wystarczająco dobrze. Pomieszczenie jest wysokie a klimatyzacja umieszczona jest pod oknem co sprawia że chłodne powietrze ucieka dołem a powyżej nadal jest ciepło. Jest to niekomfortowe gdy ktoś woli niższe temperatury w trakcie snu. Brakowało talerzy na których można zjeść np. śniadanie. W pokoju panuje w ciągu dnia półmrok ze względu na małe i wąskie jedno okno.

• Monica (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent, a pretty quiet street, very central, very close to the bus stations to/from the airport and citta alta, and quite close to the train station too. You can reach plenty of restaurants in a matter of minutes, there are three of them right on the same street with very nice food. The host was very welcoming and helpful, providing a map of the city with the main attractions highlighted. The room was very clean (also cleaned daily), and exactly like the pictures. Over all we would definitely return. We were lucky to not have noisy neighbors during our stay, but we could still hear everything from the other room. It could use some sound proofing, however it's not something to make us not want to stay there again.

This was a very last minute booking after a friend who Was taken ill and I needed to urgently find accommodation where I could visit Bergamo Città Alta and get to the airport for 5am. Giuseppe gave me lots of help and advice. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a beautiful bathroom. The room had a fridge with lots of drinks you could purchase. Access arrangements clearly explained, particularly for my 4:15am exit. I liked everything

Only a 10 minute walk from bus and train station in one direction and 10 /15 minutes to funicular in the other direction. Nice restaurants very close by. Guiseppe was very helpful.

• Alissa (10/5): Great flat in Bergamo with very attentive host - The flat was very centrally located in the new town of Bergamo. There are also some very good restaurants just round the corner. The flat was easy to find. Giuseppe picked me up in front of the building, carried my suitcase upstairs and showed me to my very cosy room. The furnishings were stylish and the overall look of the room was very appealing. Everything was very clean. There were more than enough towels and a free bottle of water. Giuseppe took a lot of time to welcome me and gave me some good tips about the city and food culture. Overall, we felt very well looked after. Thank you very much! Everything was perfect!

The Apartment Is located In very good Place, in the centre of the city (Bergamo Bassa) and very Easy to reach If you are travelling by train or Flight (the bus station for the Connection with the Airport is very close to the Apartment). The owner was very Kind and helpful and he satisfied all our requests! The room was big enough, very comfortable and clean. Coffe/tea are included for free!! A good choise for a weekend in Bergamo! • Una (7/5): We’d an excellent warm welcome from Giuseppe & had a comfortable stay. - The location was handy for everything. It was not like a regular hotel with a lobby, bar facilities etc. It was like having your own flat but with no kitchen/diner. With the window open we were annoyed by the bizarre range of noises emanating from the factory/bakery during the night. We found only one socket we could use to charge our phones/tablets and my husband’s continental shaver adapter didn’t fit anywhere.

The noise coming from the garage/entrace door lock was kind of annoying at night, was a bit difficult to sleep with open windows. Earplugs helped to have a good sleep. Matrace was not very comfortable. Everything else was perfect.

If only using the room for sleeping that's okay, but I had to spend one full day there to work remotely and I froze.

All the services available on side. It was quite cold in the room at night, extremely cold in the bathroom, the warm water in the shower was finishing very fast, and it was not comfortable to sleep (not comfortable bad and dry air because of air conditioning).

• Caterina (8/5): Very good - the room and the bathroom are very spacious and super clean. there are many options to store your things and towels and very clean. the responsible suggested us excellent places where to go/eat and parking tips. kettle and fridge in the room are a nice plus. it’s true you can hear the neighbors very well, but it was not so disturbing. check in has a limited time frame, but it is written, just keep an eye on it! Giuseppe was very accommodating with me, and another friend could check in at my place.

So basically owner decided to sell a room twice, which is great for his business, not sure how great it is for his conscience, though I assume he doesn't have any
• PGA98 (8/5): Small and Cozy - We had a 4 night stay in Bergamo. Our room and bathroom was comfortable and very clean. There is also a small refrigerator in the room with items to purchase. Giuseppe is always very pleasant and accommodating. He supplied us with maps and suggestions for restaurants and sights to see. The B&B is located in a very nice building in a great location and it is walking distance to the train station, restaurants and shops. You can walk or take a bus to the funicular which takes you to the Citta Alta or Upper City. The breakfast room is a bit small (it is shared with Giuseppe's wife's B&B) but we always had a table each morning to sit and enjoy our breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B!! Grazie Giuseppe!!!
• Hannah-joey (10/5): 3 Night stay - Arrived here last night. Was picked up by the lovely owner from the airport due to late check in, who was very friendly. Had a lovely breakfast delivered to our door this morning after a lovely comfy nights sleep in our beautiful room. The room is a lovely size with open brick decor and bathroom great size with a good shower. Little toiletries are great too and there is a little hairdryer if needed. There were extra pillows in wardrobe too as we love 2 each. It’s a FANTASTIC location and I honestly can’t fault the place. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would 100% return here.
• 11reisende (10/5): Simply the best B&B - A week in Bergamo, or any other place for that sake, requires a certain basic standard in order to be a success Firstly, the most basic is that your room and eating facilities are neat, clean and spacy enough. Secondly, the staff has to be pleasant and service-minded Thirdly, you want to be able to reach the centre, the airport, the train station and the tourists spots easily. This place meets all these criteria. This place is clean, neatly situated and is easily reached if you come by plane or train. Many of the towns and places in Italy have communities with quite a lot of young immigrants. This is not the case here. So, if you are looking for that sort of neighbourhood, this is not the place. The street is quiet, with smaller shops and places too eat. But you will find diverse communities not very far away – if that is what you are looking for. Guiseppe is the perfect host, and thanks to his expertise, we had two very nice trips to some of the most beautiful lakes in the north of Italy. He checked out the timetables and the change of trains to reach these beautiful places. And as a bonus – one of Bergamo’s best restaurants is situated right under your feet! The kitchen, where you get your neat breakfast, is a bit small – but Guiseppe manages well, and makes sure that everything is always ready. We had to wait a few minutes for å vacant table at breakfast – but that was ok for us. After all, we were on holiday – and had plenty of time. Call Guiseppe - and you well experience his hospitality instantly!
• natalieh230 (10/5): Perfect stay with a perfect host - We have just returned from a 4 night stay with Guiseppe at his charming B and B. The room was a perfect size and the bathroom was big. The whole place was spotlessly clean in every way. We could not have asked for more. The B and B is on a fairly busy road but we never heard any traffic noise!! We asked for breakfast one morning which was 'ok' but to be honest there are so many places nearby it wasn't a problem. The B and B is centrally located and very close to the bus which takes you direct to the airport in 20 minutes. The host was a true gem!! He was available to help with any questions and always with a smile. Thank you so much. I have already recommended the place to my friends and I really hope we get to come back again.
