• Leanne (8/5): Beautiful farm overlooking a dam with mountains reflecting in the water. - Beautiful setting overlooking a dam with refections of the mountains. Just gorgeous. Easy check-in and check-out. It was a bit of a difficult weekend for the managers with the storm earlier that week causing some power issues, wifi issues and signal issues. It would have been better if they had come to check on us at night as we had no power, and no signal therefore no way to really get in touch with them.

• Hanlie (6/5): Stunning surroundings, but the interior doesn’t quite match the price tag. - The setting and views are truly one of a kind. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing family getaway, and dogs are welcome too. Guests can enjoy a rowing boat on the dam, and fishing is also allowed. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the spacious lawn offers plenty of room to play and unwind. Service and communication of the hosts were very good! We are a family of five and stayed in Cedarberg House. Unfortunately, considering the price, a few aspects were quite disappointing: • The dining room table only seats four people; • The living room also only accommodates seats for four; • The lighting in the living room is too dim for reading; • There is no undercover braai area for rainy weather; • One of the oven plates is not working, and some of the pans are in poor condition.

T - The ample space, the rooms, the quietness, the pools and the dam. The couches were slightly old and sagging and there wasn’t a decent mop. We also ran out of dishwashing liquid and black bin bags.

Die Ruhe hat so gut getan. Super freundliche Mitarbeiter, von der Rezeption, über die Cleaning Ladys bis zum Gärtner. Super bequeme Betten und unglaublich gemütlich. Ich hatte das Studio Castelberg. Hab den nächsten Aufenthalt im März bereits schon gebucht. Ich hatte das Luxus Cottage. Ein neuerer Kasten wäre super, weil ich mit viel Gepäck angereist bin, aber das war nicht schlimm.

The farm can do with more activities for the kids, besides the pool and the jungle gym there was not any other activities for them to enjoy The property can be equipped with a smart TV, as the only option available was dstv.

Maar verder okay. Het leek of ze nog aan het opbouwen waren. Het zwembad was veel kleiner als leek op de foto. We vonden het niet fijn dat het personeel al met schoonmaken begon, terwijl wij nog in het huisje waren.

Our only complaint was that there was no couch or easy chairs to sit on inside and watch tv or relax indoors which in winter is very cold outside so would be nice to sit by the fireplace inside.

• O'connor (10/5): Reflections Guest Farm 10 out of 10 - The views are incredible. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It is not over crowded. There is space for all the guests. The fireplace is perfect for the cold farm town nights. It is close to the town and surrounded by lovely winefarms. We were in cedeberg which sleeps 9 but we can't al fit around the dinner table. It would be nice to have big table but again the space is not practical. In summer outside is perfect for that. The shower also ran out of hot water but again this was just because we were 9 adults. But it won't deter us from coming back.

• Chris (10/5): Everything you need for a perfect weekend in Tulbagh - Such a beautiful property! The staff was amazing, they went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room and facilities were clean and in very good condition. Each room was far enough apart making my stay quiet and private. Will definitely stay there again and can 100% recommend for a solo traveler, couple or group of friends!

What a great opportunity to brush up on my rusty fly fishing while enjoying good coffee right outside our accommodation. Will definitely book again.

• Barbara (10/5): Peaceful and tranquil. A spacious cottage tranquil lake view - We loved our stay at Reflections!! Our cottage was lovely and airy with a large and comfy bed. The kitchen is very well equipped and there's a braai which, unfortunately, we didn't have time to use. We loved our view over the lake and spent a lot of time on our patio, drinking in the scenery and the sounds of nature. The bathroom is clean and the shower is good. Our hosts were lovely - and very available to help whenever we needed it. The property is fairly close to town and lots of wineries and other areas of interest. We highly recommend this wonderful, peaceful place Nothing - it was wonderful!!

• Esther (9/5): Great place especially for families with children - This place was perfect for a family with kids with a small pool in front of the house and a little playground area with swings. The rowing boats were fun, and the group enjoyed the fly fishing. We all stopped and stared at the view often. Picturesque mountains, beautiful body of water. The place was very comfortable, and we cooked, we braaied and it was easy; bedding was comfy and there were fans or an aircon in every room. Showers were hot and there was storage space in every room to unpack clothes. Great storage places in the kitchen with good prep area and a large fridge/freezer. Lots of places to be together (living room, kitchen, seperate dining room) though our fav was the large area facing the dam and the mountains - there was a large Sofa and a table with many chairs and we spent most of our time together there, reading, watching the kids run around, enjoying the view. It was really really lovely and the place exceeded our expectations. There were a few things, broken, rowing boat oars slightly broken, two air-conditioning units (either not working or leaking), shower traps need to be cleaned, only one room had a bigger bed (We had a double which was tight), and the oven dials had faded, so it wasn't easy to use (the stove worked great). To us, these were small things compared to the joy the place brought us. Bring fly swats or zappers in the summer!
