Julius (9/5): - The staff were excellent, the service was excellent, the nursery, gardens and rural atmosphere on the edge of SA's biggest city was excellent. It is the ideal weekend escape. I booked a room with 2 single beds. My request was accepted, confirmed via e-mail and I was reminded again via e-mail to join Booking.com, of which I was a member already, to confirm my request and yet. I did not get 2 single beds. Not an issue as we are a married couple, it is safer to snore in a single bed, LOL.

I was also very happy to see that the pictures of the accommodation were accurate. A nice size cottage not cramped at all. Nothing major that I did not like. I know it is a farm and there are bound to be insects but had a visit from a Parktown Prawn just after a storm. also had ants digging through just below the taps on the bath, so had to wash them away every morning.

Will definitely stay over again. I could hear the family talking in the adjacent cottage till quite late, which spoiled the quiet and tranquillity I was seeking.
Michelle (8/5): It was all I needed for my stay. I was here on business and I just needed a safe place to stay. - I felt so safe and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was small. It is hard to have fresh air coming into the room unless you open the front door, but there is an air conditioner - a saving grace. The bed linen was clean.

Georgie (8/5): Lovely cottages with lush greenery all around - Quaint property located among lush indigenous greenery. Check out their coffee shop as well. Staff were very welcoming. In Winter, room was cold. Blankets provided were thin. Perhaps look into supplying thicker blankets for the current winter we have. There was a small fin heater provided, but could look into better heating options.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. The surrounding gardens and farmland are beautiful, and we took several lovely walks. Close to Joburg. Highly recommended.

Estelle (4/5): Disappointing - Peace and silence. Bed and pillows was good quality. They have tried to renovate the cottage but left it unfinished. Toilet drain was blocked. They had to come and unblock it at 7 at night. All facilities listed not in cottage. No soap in kitchen. They used my soap to clean up. No plug for washing basin, had to find one in the bathroom. Definetely not the rating that it gets on Bookings.com. Will not return.
