- Matlejoane (10/5): - The staff was friendly and they are accommodating. The meals, the chef did wonders on that.
Its a place for one to be to clear their minds. There is nothing to dislike on my side
- Nomvuyo (10/5): The stay was exceptional đ - Antique building and furniture The road to the lodge, worse when we were departing it was raining and road was muddy,
It was a horrible experience when the car keep on swingingđđđđ
- Hong (10/5): Only say good - This was a perfect experience. I will bring my team here again. There were 4 kilometers of dirt road to the destination. Fortunately, I met a company employee who gave me the access code. They were very kind. Thank you.
- Tahir (8/5): - The beautiful open air and vastness of the surroundings including all the different bucks

- Ana (10/5): Peaceful and luxury - The views are absolutely stunning, the animals are delightful, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The lodge and chalets offer a level of luxury that is truly outstanding.
The beds are remarkably comfortable, and I experienced one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a long time. We were treated like royalty, receiving service that can only be described as fiveâstar. The food was divineâflavourful, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Breakfast offers a great variety at bargain price.
I will certainly return in the future, and I hope to stay for an entire week next time. The roads were a bit rough for our car. Perhaps improve the main road.
- Mike (10/5): Excellent birthday weekend - What an amazing experience. The staff really make the whole experience so good. Their attention to detail is outstanding.
- R Mahao (4/5): - The food was perfect My room had no TV and Microwave. Sheets were not changed for the 3 days I stayed there. Cups and drinking glasses were never washed for my stay at Letsatsi.
- nkosi (10/5): Beautiful place I would definitely recommend it and great value for money. - The food and the location was amazing and the place is everything we expected and more. And they is plenty of wild animals to see. The quad bikes were not that good, they need to be serviced as they were not working 100%.
We got the sun set drive instead of the game drive which we paid for.

I was trapped in the toilet facility as the handle wouldnât turn and had to bang on the door for my husband to try to turn it from the outside.
- Berl (8/5): - Everything
- Jonathan (8/5): Excellent location, with great facilities and professional staff. - Breakfast was excellent, good variety, hot and plentiful.
Location was ideal for a game reserve and very peaceful. Access road was rough and pitted and difficult to navigate after the recent heavy rains
- Lorraine Susan (10/5): Simply Blissful - Letsatsi were Very accommodating with everything. Loved the short walks to various lookout points. Sunset at the pool with a cool cocktail made a relaxing day perfect. The walkways between chalets are lit. The decor in the reading lounges is just amazing and 5 stars for that
- gary (8/5): Nice place to which we will return - Nice setting. Comfortable accommodation. Very friendly staff. Some general maintenance needed

Obwohl ich der einzige Gast war, wurde der Service im vollen Umfang aufrecht erhalten ( war mir schon fast peinlich đ)
Die Fahrten waren sehr lehrreich
- Maritz (10/5): -
- Tania (8/5): -
- Cindy (10/5): Excellent staff and lodge - Annestine made our stay unforgettable and Reinhardt was an excellent guide during our game drive. We loved the pool andthe braai in the lapa overlooking the waterhole.

- Jika (8/5): -

- Leentjie (10/5): A tranquil stay with exceptional hospitality. - We stayed in the tented camp at Letsatsi Game Lodge, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, the tents and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and dinner at the restaurantâenjoyed against a spectacular sunsetâwas simply sublime. The lodgeâs location is ideal; being set away from the busy main road made the journey far more relaxed and added to the overall sense of tranquillity. We would highly recommend Letsatsi to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run bush escape. Wish we could have stayed another night!

- Marlene (9/5): It was a stunning treat, & I will take my family there again. It is beautiful there, peaceful. - The food is divine - really top notch. The staff very helpful & friendly. They were very accommodating around my requests. The unit Kitchen was lacking a few basics - but was soon sorted, when we asked about it.
- Tony (10/5): Absolutely awesome. Staff was wonderful - Quite, clean and beautiful. Nothing to mention.
- Maleloko (7/5): - The room and the braai area met my expectations The sheets were not clean upon arrival however the staff members urgently changed the sheets. The WiFi issue even at the lounge caused some inconvenience.
- Jacob (8/5): Pretty -
- Lucy (7/5): The Lodge is a peaceful bush retreat with great scenery, friendly staff, and good value. -
- Mark & Vickie Scott (8/5): Beautiful and rustic - The restaurant was marvellous and the facilities were beautiful, the views were absolutely exquisite. We will definitely return, but will not stay in the tented accommodation again. The tented camp seems a bit run-down. The tents are not in particular good condition and it is far away from the main reception area where the bar, pool and restaurant is. You have to drive to get there.
- Izak (9/5): -
- Ievgenii (9/5): -
- looleroo (9/5): Nice breakaway from the city. - Staff is very helpful and friendly. Menu is compact but every meal was excellently prepared. The chalets are cleverly equipped and offers good privacy. Although this reserve does not have big five game the game drive was good and the guide very informative. Our bathtub seemed to leak and it ran into the carpeted room, which gave an unfortunate smell. A shower option would be nice.
- Florian (8/5): - Tolle Aussicht
- Carlos (10/5): -
- Sadiya (8/5): Lovely serene accommodation but needs an uograde - The location, the cabins were very spacious and the peace and quiet. The cabin definitely needs an upgrade - looks very tired.
The bathroom door handles were very tough to open once locked. The bathrooms and the doors to the bathroom needs to be changed.
Carpets need to be changed - maybe consider laminated flooring- easy to take care of.
Suggest putting nets on the windows. Not keen on opening windows due to the insects.
Maybe getting Netflix for the rainy days.
Small cereal bowls should be provided.
- Janeil (6/5): Nice lodge. Beautiful views. - Very beautiful lodge, stunning location. Dirt road isn't bad at all. It will be a nice spot for a weekend away if you have budgeted properly. The rooms are very run down. Looks like they took a knock during covid. Units need TLC. Plug points are difficult to access. It is not self-catering at all. We didn't realize that when we booked.
- Janse Van Rensburg (10/5): Game lodge adventure - The open spaces and the views of the Game. Nothing to dislike
- Cynthia (8/5): Overall the place is decent, amazing views, the food is great. Location is too far away from Joburg be prepared to do so - Views from our room, air conditioning. The food was great Their cocktails are extremely watery, toilet in the pool area dirty and the beds can do with an upgrade
- Jane (9/5): Loving Lestatsi â¤ď¸
A fantastic place to spend time with family. - We.loved the beauty and peace of this place, and despite its remoteness, the comfort and hospitality it offered. Delicious meals , private spacious accomodation, a welcome rest after a long journey . Nothing.
- Anneline (10/5): -
- Lavarinhas (6/5): -
- Andile (7/5): Well and peaceful - Very Clean and well maintained The Roof was leaking during heavy rain storm , falling Grass particles on the bed, the Gravel Road needs attention.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Fryderyk (10/5): - The lodge is a short drive along a gravel road and is located in a serene area with beautiful views. Many animals came close to the property, which made the experience even more special. The lodge itself has a stunning design and feels like something straight out of a movie. All the staff were helpful, polite, and professional. The food was also very tasty and fairly priced. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. Nothing to dislike.
- Daniel (9/5): Great Stopover and would love to visit again. - Good music, great ambiance and lovely views
- Finette (7/5): View was stunning - Best views đ
- Wynand (5/5): Not sure if it was worth the detour away from Colesberg when travelling North or South for us. - The general areas are nice and the main lodge with the pool and restaurant is also nice. We also enjoyed the food and has healthy portions. There were animals (like impalas etc) to watch from the room and the main lodge - for some that is a big bonus. The rooms were disappointing - outdated and dirty (had insects, spider webs in the room and the beds were full of little pieces of straw and dust from the thatch roof). Some of the items are also in desperate need of repair like the wooden deck being loose and broken off in some areas. Donât think we will book again
- Ghia (10/5): Next time weâre coming for longer! - Super friendly staff & lovely facilities I would have liked a shower (there was a corner bath)
- Amelda (9/5): -
- Jika (8/5): It was a beautiful experience - The staff very welcoming.
Beautiful place , the food, tranquility đ
- Orell (4/5): - The views and sunsets are great. Every day was beautiful in a different way.
The main lodge was nice and spacious with great views.
The food at the restaurant was good. Upon request they also had quite a bit of vegetarian options but the main focus is grilled meat. The service staff was very nice, although sometimes a bit slow. We had bats in our chalet. They are in the roof and come out at night when itâs dark which led to horrible sleep. We also had some bat poop on our blankets one morning. We were not warned about the issues and didnât feel like we were taken seriously. Calling someone in the middle of the night to solve the problem is not a solution.
There were dogs at and in the pool. The ownerâs dog pooped and peed on the grass at the pool. the dog poop was not removed even when mentioning it to the reception. Most dogs were not on a leash and also didnât listen to commands very well.
No bike rentals though it says so in the booking.com description.
- Lidia (3/5): - There weren't any electricity at our tent, even after we asked it was still not repaired. The road was terrible. The abision blocks we very dusty and the lights were very dim
- Roxanne (9/5): Our second stay at Letsatsi was special. This time we had our family with us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. W - The property is neat, clean, well-managed and it felt private, which is nice. We also loved the pool area and sunset views. There wasnât much we didnât like.
- Van Niekerk (10/5): -
- Faith (10/5): Good - The views and facilities were excellent The dog that was gallivanting in the dining area
- Irene (1/5): - Everything was great from check-in, the game drive, friendly staff until right in front of the restaurant at dinner when a snake was bashed by two of the restaurant staff members with a pole, not even killing it, leaving it to suffer. Instead of removing it with a snake handling pole and placing it in the bush or just leaving it to move away by itself they rather beat it in plain sight of everyone. When I asked to speak to the manager about it I was greeted with a terribly rude man not even looking at me or willing to talk just walking past me saying "a snake is a snake and a snake must die"! For a game lodge this is unacceptable behaviour, wildlife should be treated with respect and staff must be trained in safe snake handling and removal or told to just leave it to move away by itself which it will always do anyway. This upset me and other guests so much and should not have happened at an establishment like this.
- Matthew (10/5): Breathtaking Views, Comfortable Stay - The lodge is beautifully positioned with stunning mountain views that really stand out.
The surroundings are peaceful and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, suitable for both short and longer stays.
The setting feels safe and private, ideal for a quiet break.
The natural scenery, especially sunrise and sunset, is a major highlight. .
- Roula (10/5): - We liked everything!!! Certainly good value for money, spacious rooms and common area for the family unit we stayed in. The staff was AMAZING! especially Mr Runny! He made sure we are always comfortable and cared for. The food was good as well and again they went out of their way to make sure we are happy. We are not braai people, but I can imagine people that like braaing in their own unit they will be disappointed
- Francois (7/5): -
- Gheorghe (9/5): -
- kuhn (8/5): -
- Van heerden (8/5): Lovely accommodation to stay over on the way to the coast. Will visit again once the bat-issue has been resolved. - The lodge is lovely with beautiful views. Staff went out of their way to assist us especially one lady - apologies I forgot her name now. But she let us park next to her unit to plug in our camping fridge in her houseâs plug. This helped us a lot! So thank you once again! Honestly, just the fact that it seems normal that there are bats in the room and we werent warned beforehand. I feel then you should make sure there are mosquito nets over each bed. The bat was swooping low over our heads and my 9 year old daughter and i slept with our heads under the bedsheet. You should declare this on your website that they are there.
- Michael (6/5): - Very peaceful setting off the beaten track. Lots of open space for kids to roam around. As much as we were warned there may be bats in the rooms at night when we checked in, having them fly around continuously during the night in both bedrooms was far from ideal for sleeping.
- nthabeleng (10/5): - The facilities accommodated the whole family and the was truly friendly
- Eric (9/5): Lovely main lodge - Huge beautiful main lodge with lovely decor and good food. Stayed in the glamping-style tented accom. Not allowing private game drives - our booked game drive got cancelled because of the weather. Tented accom doesn't have enough toilets, so it can be a big walk in the middle of the night.
- Denford (7/5): - Perfect location could see game from my chalet. the food was amazing and the kids enjoyed the stay especially the pool and petting the pets encountered bats in the room every night. this unsettled the kids. saw a snake by the poolside, it was later captured by the staff
- Muedi (10/5): Adventurious. The reception and the team went extra mile - Hospitality and views. Lots of Giraffes and Antelopes None everything whatsoever. Everything was exceptional
- Adrienne (8/5): -
- VENTER (2/5): Not good at all. - Facility at it self were excellent. We ha to endure a double booking and were downgraded from two four sleepers to three sleepers and had to split up two families. We had to wait longer than a hour for them to get our places ready. They had to remove someone from one of the places to accommodate us. It was really not a good experience. Will never use it again.
- Mohamed (5/5): Seems like a nice place but reception staff need to be trained. - We were eventually helped by a really good lady. The location per the app is not accurate. The lady at reception was very unprofessional even telling us that they dont use the bookings.com confirmation and we only had 1 room instead of the 2 booked. Also there was no electricity with very little back up.
- Stutchbury (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Relaxing halfway stop. - Lovely relaxing pool and bar area to chill Room layout is interesting, couldnât get to plug behind the bed, an extension cord would be useful. No shower only a bath.
