• Sille (6/5): Prima voor 2/3 nachtjes als je vooral andere plekken aan het bezoeken bent en je echt alleen een bed nodig hebt. - Lekker rustig maar wel echt op een fijne kant van Ceningan. Prima kamer. De douche was echt vol gekalkt, het zwembad was vies en het restaurant dat erbij was, was nooit open.

Wir waren in den braunfarbenen Villen, die zwingend saniert werden sollten. Die weißen Villen sind etwas besser.

• Lisa (10/5): Cute cottage close to everything - This place was put on my radar by a fellow traveller. And when my plans had to change at the last minute, Yogi and his staff were so welcoming and caring that I felt I was always meant to be there. A great place to chill. Chat if you want, or spend quiet time. The pool was great and it was an easy scooter ride in and then walking distance to Secret Point Beach, the Blue Lagoon or local restos for coffee and surf watching. My cottage was so cute with a little verandah and I could hear the surf at night and birds in the morning. Nothing.
• Manon (9/5): Authentic stay - Local style cabins, outdoor shower, clean pool. The staff was very friendly, the bed was comfy. The entire hotel is beautiful with lush green plants and flowers everywhere. Although the outdoor shower is beautiful, it's salt water. The soap/shampoo brand could maybe be improved as well as I didn't feel like I was getting clean per se. Looked more like dishwashing liquid to be honest. Also bear in mind that there are 3-4 restaurants in the surrounding areas but the main beaches/attractions are 20 min scooter ride away. The hotel has its own restaurant/bar but not many people seem to use it.

The location is peaceful and pleasant, with a beautiful large pool and just a short walk from a spot with a stunning sunset and ocean view. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and upon arrival, we were welcomed with fresh orange juice for free. The staff was very helpful and friendly – especially Yogi, who prepared an evening gathering with drinks and shared wonderful stories. It is an ideal place for rest and relaxation. We were pleasantly surprised, and I can warmly recommend this place. We will definitely be happy to return. Martin and Wendy!

• Cersten Hinz (1/5): It's abandoned!!! Don't trust the photos! - This place is abandoned and I like abandoned places. !The 5* reviews must have been payed! This place is in a worse condition that some abandoned hotels. I have never seen a place where the photos didn't match the reality that much. The staff is only on their phones instead of maintaining this decaying place. Everywhere is rubbish like old broken surfboards, plastic rusty metal, construction materials. The pool is green and Milky and I never saw one even sitting near it. Noone ever removes the fallen leaves. The room was disgusting. Dirty every metal was rusted. The main door didn't close since it was half of their rail. Mosquitos in the room since there are holes everywhere. The kettle was leaking heavy from the bottom. The photos are probably from 10y ago and since then Noone took care of that property. The water is as salty as the sea which we had in no other hotel (we visited over 10 on the islands). No water bottle refill. Pool bar never open ofc. For that money we could have had a lot better hotel. Don't support this and don't book it.

• Frederic (9/5): So, I recommend this establishment. - I spent 20 days at this hotel. I really appreciated the respect, kindness, and helpfulness of the staff. I had three rooms and they were all very good, but ask for a room that is a little further from the main street. The reason is that the roosters crow at 4 a.m. and disrupt your sleep. I really appreciated the musical selection in the restaurant. Pool can be more clean

Son pequeñas cabañas rededor de un jardín y una piscina Tienen un severo problema de falta de limpieza y mantenimiento. Hay muchas cosas rotas y manchas por todas partes. Una lástima porque con una mínima inversión y mejora de sus hábitos de limpieza el lugar ganaría mucho.

Bilder nicht aktuell ( mind. 10 Jahre alt ) Billard Tisch existiert nicht mehr. Ausguck Hochsitz mit Meerblick existiert nicht mehr. Poolbar niemals offen gewesen. Swimmingpool sehr ungepflegt. Es gibt genau 1 Sonnenschirm. 2. Unsere Villa wurde im 8 Tagen nicht einmal gereinigt. Nicht gewischt, keine Betten gemacht. Keine Mülleimer geleert 3. Der Gesamteindruck der Anlage eher ungepflegt. Das Personal macht nur etwas nach Bitten und ist äußerst bequem. Fleißig ist das Personal nur wenn es überteuerte Ausflüge anbieten kann per WhatsApp. Das Frühstück abgezählt und jeden Tag das gleiche . Eier mit Toast oder Pancake . Da die Bilder absolut nicht mehr der Realität entsprechen, fühlt man sich getäuscht. Das wäre ein Fall für Booking. com. Fazit: Preis / Leistung stimmt. Location ganz nett. Ohne Roller abgelegen . Es existieren jedoch fußläufig einige Restaurants

• Loriza (3/5): Great if you’re looking for super basic, camping style accommodation. - Great location. Friendly staff. Has a nice charm. Lots of potential. The place has so much potential. But there are certain things that can’t be overlooked: When you shower - the entire bathroom gets wet. It’s just not a pleasant experience. The room is tiny, so there is no space for a suitcase. The pool needs a thorough clean. There’s an area in front of the deluxe suites which is just trees, grass, unkept and in need of severe tidying up. Noise. A few in our group were unable to sleep due to the noise of scooters.
• Wark (7/5): Dafish was acceptable and staff were very helpful but borderline value for money for a Bali hotel for the price per nigh - Located in a quiet part of the island. Pool was clean. Room size was good and bedroom was clean. Breakfast was good but juice included was not fresh. Staff were exceptionally helpful in arranging trips and drivers. First night no hot water. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. Water for showering was salty and could not lather up soap or shampoo. Fridge freezer was iced up so we had to remove ice to shut fridge door. Bed sheet was ripped.
• Jennifer (7/5): - Es ist sehr gemütlich, der Pool ist super und die Leute sehr hilfsbereit. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr guten Aufenthalt. Für mich leider, für andere gut, dass Bett war mir viel zu hart. Wichtig zu wissen es gibt nur salziges Wasser, dass ist wohl eine Mischung zwischen Frischwasser jnd dem Meerwasser. Auch im Nachgang wenn man etwas verloren hat sind sie sehr hilfsbereit. Leider ist es nicht wirklich sauber, die Toilette war geputzt, aber im Schlafraum mal wieder nass wischen. Das abgelagerte Salz entfernen. Den Kühlschrank von Ungeziefern befreien und auch das Holz abwischen wäre super. Es war nicht so dreckig, dass es bedenklich wäre, aber für den Preis, dürfte es ein klein bisschen sauberer sein.

• Megan (9/5): Superb - The pool area is great, staff helped us loads and organised lots of trips and activities for us, the owner can’t do enough for you. Air con is powerfull. Bed was comfy, mozzi net was nice to have. Nice place to sit outside your room. Shower was cold but this is pretty normal on an island. Location is pretty isolated if you don’t drive a scooter, the host did arrange taxis for us though. You can’t get a car over the yellow bridge so you need to get 2 taxis to Lembongan.

Some staff showed great interest in making our stay good! Very basic stay. Breakfast is NOT included, no water is provided and limited help from some staff. Asked for a lift to Yellow Bridge (approx 5 min drive) and the accom tried to charge us 100k for it - we ended up walking the 30mins.

Would suggest getting a load of backfill.to fix the road so that it dosnt pool with water and would also be less noisy with the scooter riding as well

The Family is super friendly and helpful - transport, scooter…thank you Yogi to let us help you with the Penjor:). Nice and quiet garden. The room was equipped with Anti-Mosqito plug. Breakfast was yummy. Just a short walk to the beach, good surf.

• Lorraine (10/5): Delightful stay at the Dafish! - The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, mainly cooked by Putu. The front doors were difficult to close. The bathroom door became hard to open and close, but was quickly fixed by a staff member. Towards the end of our stay the bathroom door was again difficult to open.

• Amy (8/5): Great value for money - The room was nice. The pool area was nice. The room was small, I'd probably go for a bigger room if going again. The pool needs cleaning. It's salt water which is great but means the water was dirty. The doors to the room was a sliding door that kept breaking. We stayed a week which is more than most people would, if your staying a night or 2 I wouldn't have thought these things would bother you.

• Neil (9/5): Nice mixture of bungalows in a great location - Very well presented bungalows in a location ideal on Ceningan for beaches and restaurants. My bungalow had a/c, fridge etc etc. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, organising trips, and my onward travel. My bungalow was decorated with fresh flowers on my arrival, a small but very nice touch. The availability of the kitchen for meals outside of breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but there are plenty of other eating options locally.

Lucky shop across the road was wonderful & Kembar Sari just arnd the corner (headng to bridge) is fab. Clothes, hanging shell curtain things etc. Owner is lovely. The grounds cld do with bit of TLC & deck furniture getting a bit tired but still absolutely loved it here. I had the place to myself so it was quiet, peaceful, wonderful & no loud banging music around the pool!! Loved it all. A wee table beside loungers would be great for books, drinks etc

• Alejandro (5/5): Passable - The room was clean and the bed was comfy. After 9pm they texted me saying that they are closed and didn't leave any self-check in instructions. We had to get in a room that we guessed could be ours. In they morning the complained that we got in the wrong room. Extremely noisy room despite all, motorbikes and cars passing all nigh long.
• Camilla (7/5): I was expecting a little bit better - We enjoyed the breakfasts and staying at the swimming pool. The rooms smelled clean and the owner was available for us when we needed. We stayed in the cheaper cabins. They are nice and clean but they have some animals problems and some of them could be better maintained. The garden as well was not well looked after and the whole area looked a bit dilapidated.

So I would not suggest to book a massage with them

• Tessa (10/5): Nice - The pool, the cozy rooms, the showers, the very friendly and happy staff. Was great. That we only got one bottle of water a day and the rest is at a cost. Water really shouldn’t be restricted like this. We’d rather not have an included breakfast than have to pay for water. Also there was an issue on the booking.com website in regards to the free shuttle back to the Yellow Bridge. Apparently the site isn’t updated to say that the free shuffle is only from the Yellow Bridge and you have to pay to go back. We had to send screenshots via WhatsApp to the staff to reconcile this. Also there was nothing good for healthy vegetarian food on the menu, from memory the closest thing was a cheese pizza, so we preferred going out to eat.
• Deborah (9/5): Locally owned laid back quiet little resort with lovely staff and a nice pool area. - Very good value for money. Short walk down to cliff top views at the resort in front or along the road to the cliff top cafes. Clean, quiet, nice pool, friendly local owners. Lots of cheap delicious food here and in local Warangs. Owners organised scooters. We used Rocky fast ferries to get to the yellow bridge then walked across this to be met by resort staff.

• Camillia (8/5): Realy peaceful place - A wonderful hotel for a peaceful stay, featuring a very comfortable bed. The hot water and semi-outdoor shower are truly enjoyable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling. I also highly recommend the snorkeling excursion offered by the hotel ! Areas for Improvement - Providing water bottles would be a great added convenience. - Offering daily cleaning service, especially for long stays, would be appreciated. - Updating your linen service would enhance the experience. - An outdoor drying rack would be a useful addition.

• Martina (10/5): Great place in Nusa Ceningan! - A fantastic place in Nusa Ceningan! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the room is excellent. The 24/7 access to the swimming pool is a great bonus. They also organize snorkeling or fishing with the owner of the King of the Sea, highly recommended!

• Carlos (10/5): Great place in a good location with excellent staff. - All the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. The pool was ok with enough sun lounges to go round. The food from their restaurant was good and fairly priced. The location is easy walking distance to Blue Lagoon and Secret Point/Beach. Had a great 4 night stay . Nothing
• Mattia (8/5): A good solution to relax - Good position, free pickup from the harbour, good breakfast, scooters for rent at fair price, helpfulness of the staff, nice bungalow but needs some renovation. Close to some good restaurants Our bungalow was a bit old, no fridge, some others were a bit better a better located.
• Schrems (9/5): Superb - Rooms are nice and bed is comfy. One small but nice Beach is in walking distance. Dana was really friendly and helpful with everything. He organized everything for US. Its neccesary to rent a bike as it is a bit off the track.

• Lisa (10/5): Best villas in Cenigen, incredible value, home away from home for me. - The Dafish feels like your home away from home. Dana & Yogi & all the staff are genuine, welcoming and happy people that will go out of their way to make your stay special. The rooms are basic but so clean and comfortable. Beds are soft (unlike a lot in Bali), air con great & the outdoor bathroom has so much character. Food is delicious & we were very fortunate to be able to do a cooking class with the chef at short notice, a highlight for sure! Incredible value for money, I rarely stay at the same accommodation twice but this was my second visit to Dafish & we loved it again. Nothing. As Cenigen becomes more exclusive the Dafish will become a rare gem - a genuine, peaceful, family run Homestay.
• Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional value for money, super comfortable bed and bedding, private bungalow with charming bali style outdoor ensuite. Central pool, with casual restaurant and bar. Family run business by local people. Dana and his team are warm, welcoming and can organise everything you need, scooters, taxi pick up drop off, snorkelling,boat trips.The cooking lesson at The Dafish outdoor kitchen was a highlight, and the food from their kitchen was fresh and delicious. The yellow curry and satay were the best I've had in Bali. The location is an easy walk to surfing and snorkelling beach at Mahana Point, the local zipline, mini mart, resorts, restaurants and local Warungs. Very highly recommend The Dafish to those who want to enoy their Ceningan experience with a local flavour. Nusa Ceningan is becoming quite exclusive, with resorts being built around the village near Dafish. This however adds to the charm of Dafish, as it remains the local gem.
• Tania (8/5): We enjoyed our snorkelling trip with Sentana he listened to us and took us to some lovely locations for wonderful snorke - DaFish was in a good location close walking distance to lovely bars and beach . The staff were very helpful and the food was good . One of our group wanted to change rooms because of road noise that was no problem and they were moved to a quieter room
• Bryson (6/5): It was ok - I found the meals to be very good and the staff were excellent and very polite. I reported a broken shower head the day l arrived and was told it would be fixed straight away, it was never fixed and had to shower with a little stream of water (disappointed) the path way to villas are very dangerous at night as there is no lighting to show you were the steps are, slipped on step on the 3rd night and severely cut the bottom of my foot open.

• Gw (10/5): Memories of a lifetime!! Thanks again!! - This is a family owned and run business. The family was wonderful and even though my son and I only stayed one night they treated us like family the entire time. We fished the next day with Captain Santana and also had a wonderful time. It is small and quiet. The pool was beautiful. I highly recommend and my only regret was not being able to stay longer. My son and I hope to be able to return one day and will definitely be staying at the Dafish!! Thanks to everyone there!! Food is as ok. I openly admit we are American and are a little picky about food, so I wouldn’t necessarily blame this on the kitchen.
