Guest Reviews
- tenishia (1/5): -
- Guest (1/5): is not worth the hassle - nothing, horrible customer service. they don’t honor online reservations so you should definitely take it off of google. price didn’t match online price was $59 online and paid $75. they took a $7 deposit for booking online and they didn’t want to refund me even though it wasn’t my fault since they don’t do online reservations. and basically made it seem that i canceled the reservation when i called when that was not the case. Also i was coming from Virginia and came at 9pm after a long drive… and still having to deal with all of this and attitude from the front desk is just absolutely ridiculous. in the hotel wasn’t terrible but isn’t worth $75
- Irvan (1/5): - Nothen Everything
- Erin (2/5): - I DO NOT complain ever, but this stupid experience with this hotel deserves this review to help prevent others from coming here. I make the reservation through expedia who took the money out of my account immediately. I get to the property and the owner says he does not take online reservations and charged me alot nore than quoted then told me i will have to contact expedia to get my money back from them. I called and emailed expedia a copy of my receipt from the property. Even though i provided proof they are still trying to contact the property who will not answer.
Now, expedia has sent me an email telling me i was a no-show and ill be charged for that. Then i have called expedia, i have emailed and chatted and still no solution. As far as the property itself: TV screen was broken, TV cable was in the room but nowhere to hook it up to the TV, hallway was very hot, subfloor needed replacing but just covered my new flooring.
It goes on and on and on. Just dont stay here!!!!!! And delete the expedia app if you have it. Don't book with them either.
- Bernard (1/5): Unavailable. - Don't book ! They are a scam!! We couldn't even stay for the night! They just said they do cash at site , no online bookings!! Don't book online!!!!!!! Then they still ended up charging us a no show, after they turned us away, and we had to drive another hour to next available hotel!!
This place shouldn't even exist. Don't book ! They are a scam!! We couldn't even stay for the night! They just said they do cash at site , no online bookings!! Don't book online!!!!!!! Then they still ended up charging us a no show, after they turned us away, and we had to drive another hour to next available hotel!!
This place shouldn't even exist.
- Franklin (2/5): - They didn't give me a room, because they say they don't accept reservations online.
Which is weird
- Sherry (8/5): - Good people
- Charles (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jason (4/5): Don’t make the same mistake I did. - This hotel is a hole that would be better off condemned…. Some thing a quick coat of paint just can’t cover up. You could feel the holes beneath the cheap vinyl plank flooring, the security doors don’t, it’s just not a nice place to stay…
- Cody (3/5): Not a terrible place to stay but they need to work on it a lot more. - Probably the only thing was the hot shower. First the door in the back was cracked open for some reason it would not shut all the way. Then got into the room looked fine at first. When I got into the bed there was still hair of other people that have slept there. Tv only had a couple channels that actually worked. Remote had an option for Netflix but it never worked. I could see through the hallway through the sides of the door.
- paige (10/5): - Was really nice
- Chimere (2/5): TRAP HOUSE - The hotel had an odor. Then I got to the room checked my bed it had hair and crumbs in the bed. It had roaches crawling up the walls. There were several dead roaches on the floor. The bathtub was dirty. It felt like I was at a crack house.. I don’t recommend at all. Even after the clerk checked the room before I went in it still had all of those issues.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Lea (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cheyanne (10/5): - Customer service
- Jordon (2/5): Horrible - Hotel was disgusting, went to three separate rooms and all were absolutely terrible in different ways.
- Jeffrey (4/5): A Disappointment - Charged more than quoted.
Had no record of my reservation
Safety chain broken/missing
Overall property was in poor condition and in need of service
No coffee maker
No kleenex
No hair dryer
No bedside lamp
- Mandy (5/5): Won’t be returning. Will be spending the extra $20 to stay at the competition next time. - No breakfast. No coffee maker in room. Very little toilet paper. Small bath towels. Rents by the hour if that tells you anything about the clientele. No cable, just Roku. You have to have accounts to watch Netflix or anything. You can watch free channels. Bed was comfortable, fairly quiet. Also, was only given one room key for 2 people.
- Priscella (2/5): Very poor -
- Robert (1/5): the stay sucked and falls in category of worst hotels I stayed at. definitely won’t be staying here again - close to stores it smelled funny and was dirty there was wrapper from soap left in bathroom and hair left all in the tub
- Joshua (10/5): Comfortable - It was quiet No complaints
- Earl (3/5): never again - I know they are renovating but there were roaches in my room and the whole week I stayed I didn’t receive room cleaning not once. I went and bought cleaning wipes to wipe down my room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible place to stay - The room was terrible. The sheets had stains on them. There was a roach in the bed, refrigerator, and inside the tub. It was a scary experience. I wanted a refund but I paid for it through the app. It is not a place for a family. Thank god I was traveling for work and didn’t have my kids. Otherwise I would’ve just lose out on the money spent and go elsewhere
- Jack (2/5): - A third world operation.
- JERRI (4/5): - Nothing
- timothy (2/5): - Cockroaches!! The place is in horrible shape, refrig did not work. The breakfast offered did not exist. The side door slammed loudly all night. Some one knocked on my window in the middle of the night
- dwight (2/5): - this was a dump and unsafe
- Garry (6/5): - We didn't stay. Holes in the wall. Uneven floor( like it was going to fall through.) Only good thing about this place is the fact that they refunded half of our stay.
- Keith (2/5): - This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. On the outside the hotel looks good. The inside is completely different. New vinyl flooring looks and feels like it was laid over old carpeting. The furniture is old and worn out. The shower wand was broken and hanging. The pillows were totally flat. Three of the four light bulbs in the bathroom were burned out. Half of the bulbs in the room were burned out. One old towel and one old wash cloth for two people. Towel holders were extremely rusted and should be replaced.
- Nancy Lisa (2/5): Not recommending - The facility was dirty. The room was dirty. Luckily I take wipes to clean off surfaces and they were dirty! We got in late so we didn't have a choice on where to stay. We left ASAP when we woke up.
- Keenen (2/5): - Hotel should be closed down if open should be done 10$ a night simple. Shower needs remodeling carpet dirty needs need bedding. Horrible hote should be closed down
- Tina (2/5): Worst place to stay - This was the dirtiest place ive ever stayed the parking lot was busy with people fixing vehicle's and women of the night making the rounds others wete climbing in and out of the window we will hopefully never have to stay there again
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Was old and run down not taken care of no blankets only one sheet had to use mattress pad as cover
- Linda (8/5): Nice motel - Enjoyed the stay. The beds were very comfortable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok .
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was dirty as well as the bathroom.
With the COVID still active, you would think that cleanliness would be a top priority.
Staff was friendly, yet hotel was very dirty and run down.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property was very run down and extremely nasty. I wasnt even there 15 minutes and i got my money back and went somewhere different.
- Verified traveler (6/5): N/A - The room was okay. The housekeeping couldve been alot better
- matthew (10/5): Awesome - Good good night sleep
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing like stay there about 2 hours and left. Run down needed a lot of fixing up
- Wilson (10/5): Pastor Wilson Powell - I was wonderful and I will be staying again.
- Jason (6/5): ok - ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was cheap. But everything else was horrible. The room was dirty, there was no toilet paper when i got here. There was half of a marajuna cigarette on the floorbetween the beds. There was blood stains on the blanket. The window in the stairway had no screen, and was open wide. There is mold on the wall in the bathroom. This was by far the worst motel i have ever been in.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Union city Tn. - The people were nice. But it was in bad shape. Broken things in room. Bad Stains in bathroom. Towels were dingy. You could see through a crack in door. We didn’t spend the night. We left to go home. So we have no idea about the comfort of bed.
- Patsy (6/5): It smelled bad - I didnt stay in the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - First room they gave me was not cleaned or made up so I declined it. Same for the 2nd room they gave me. Finally I was given a clean room, but there were no towels. I called the front desk and they brought them to me an hour later.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Key did not work twice !! Still bot working
Everything is not right !!!!
Front door is lock
.........
- Steve (6/5): Dont do it!! - Dirty sheets, dirty shower,NO toilet paper!! We will not be back.
- Tim (2/5): - The internet connection works. Otherwise it is a terrible place to stay. There is so much mold that it hangs in the air and triggered a respiratory problem for me. I had already paid so I just left some of my stuff there and found another place to sleep. Do not take your family to this place; especially children.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The facilities seemed to need remodeling. The outside sign clearly said contenential breakfast. There was no breakfast.
Only a pot of coffee. it looked like there had once been amenities, but nothing was served or available for breakfast. The washing facilities were almost adequate, but newer equipment would make the experience a lot better than it was.
The manager seemed to be doing the best he could, but whole situation seemed less than we had expected.
- Kathy (2/5): - This is the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It used to be a Super 8 I've been staying there since they put it in these people took it over it is totally trashed the rooms are just gross we had no towels 2 dirty washcloths sitting on the sink with an empty Kleenex box. So when I went to get towels and had three Mexican men with cases of beer surround me looking me up and down and making comments!! Sign outside and in says they have breakfast, I asked the man where is breakfast he said you want coffee I said again where's breakfast he said again you want coffee! He said he tried to help us while we were there all he did was come to our room and say you okay? He was never at the desk always in his room, he should have been out cleaning that place! I wish I had pictures of the bathroom we were afraid to take a shower, but I do have some pictures I will post. My daughter's bedspread had a big huge burn hole in it that was actually scratching her leg! The Quality Inn was very nice and the Country Hearth Inn was very nice, both had breakfast, both were very clean! If you have to stay in Union City do not stay in this um I guess I would call it slums! Seriously the health department needs to check this place out and if they pass there's something wrong with Tennessee's health department!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - My room had a Leaking faucet toilet falling thru floor.
- Trish (2/5): - Unless you are just broken and have no where else to go, I guess this would be ok but I'd sleep in my car before I'd stay here again. The furniture was nasty and broken. I had them change us from the first room they gave us. Bed was semi-ok. We were scared to take a bath and the wash cloths were dirtier than my cleaning cloths at home. Never again!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was nasty and at checkin no one was at the front desk I had to call the hotel to get someone to come to check us in !!
- Zoo (2/5): - Nothing it was dirty had holes in floor and in cilling they didn't speak English
- Barry (2/5): Run - Previous guest drink still on table, dirty room, could hear when walked on sticky floor, exposed wires in ceiling, outside security door wouldn’t shut, no baseboards, towels were dirty, bugs in the floor, and chair was soiled so did not stay. After immediately checking out, I was informed “per strict company policy we give no refunds”. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been in.
- Shirley (2/5): - The floor was nasty was walking on dirt and grit on the hardwood floor the bathroom had a very PRONOUNCED SOAP SCUM In the bathtub was afraid to shower for fear of athletic feet. Soap scum was BAD
- Verified traveler (6/5): - close to work.thats about all i can tell you.needs some work and a good housekeeper. slowly making improvements
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I didn't like how nasty the room was. There was stuff on the walls looked like someone spilled something and was not cleaned up. The housekeeper was very nice, but rest of the staff seemed like they didn't know what we was saying or know how to meet our needs.
- David (2/5): You get what you pay for.....Lesson learned - I got this room for an employee but I should have paid more and have him stay down the street. The people at the front desk can't speak English well. I tried to get a traditional check out receipt from them, but they said I have to go online to get one because they charge a different price. I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ARE VERY, VERY DESPERATE!!!!!
- KomteriaHerndon (2/5): - My room was dusty and dirty. Trash was under my bed and under the furniture in the room. My toilet would clog everytime I flushed it. I could not breathe in my room. I could not open my window because there was no screen. The property has trash and broken beer bottles everywhere. There was no breakfast this morning. The side doors were left ajar and propped open with bricks to allow people to get in and out without using the hotels main lobby. I called the front desk about 3 am to get the WiFi code and the owner gave me the telephone number without specifying if it was a code or which portal to log into. This morning before checkout there was no breakfast, no coffee, no bagels, or complimentary items available. I asked for a refund the owner politely avoided the question. I do have pictures to send you.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. Will NEVER stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff was nice. the temp of the room and the heat worked well. The bathroom was clean. The TV worked fine. I didn't like that the fridge didn't work and the microwave had dirt behind it. also no breakfast as promised.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - i liked nothing! booked king smoking. said he didnt have it. queen with double beds is all he had..charged me 10.00 more
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Cheap for the holiday stay. The room needs updating. It seemed dirty but it could have been due to the condition of the room. The sink is old & cracked & peeling, The floors appeared to not have been swept. The microwave did not have the glass plate inside, so the popcorn I had for the kids did not pop properly, then left the room smelling like burnt popcorn.
Plus is the bed was comfortable. Free WiFi has good reception.
Friendly at the front desk area.
They are pet friendly and only charge $5/day for pets.
