Mark (9/5): I stayed one night on the way back to Le Tunnel, would happily go back for a couple of nights at any time of the year. A - Great location, not at all like your typical hotels near Calais. I would happily go there as a destination rather than just a stopover whilst travelling. Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely little town on a big hill, loads of history and with great options for dining. Nothing.

L’hôtel est vieillissant : dans notre chambre le carrelage était cassé par endroits, la moquette se décollait, certaines prises sortaient du mur, le radiateur fonctionnait mal et le robinet fuyait. La chambre restait confortable mais pas à la hauteur de ce que l’on attend d’un quatre étoiles pour moi.

However our room was lovely and it was clean and serviceable Only that in part it was unloved. For example the swimming pool was empty and dirty and car park was difficult to get to with many steps up to the hotel.

Vraiment ? - Le château est très beau, les chambres spacieuses, mais la chaleur du moment sans climatisation ni possibilité d'aérer convenablement + moustiques en nombre dans la chambre = séjour et repos peu agréable malgré la beauté du lieu (belle vue + belle bâtisse). Décoration un brin vieillotte et petit déjeuner banal pour le tarif.
