Guest Reviews
- alan (9/5): Llandudno stay - Stayed for 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and everything you needed was there
Dan and Aggie were really friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again Nothing
- Chatterjee (8/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): - Perfect location, the kitchen facilities are really useful. The host have been very thoughtful with finishing touches like a coffee machine with pods and it has everything you need. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Will definitely book again.
- Stewart (10/5): - Everything was very good and easy. Aggie and Dan were wonderful hosts, I felt very welcome on arrival, and clear instructions and communication before arrival. We had two different rooms, that were decorated differently but both to a high standard, which is a nice personal touch to each room.. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were high quality hotel sheets that were clean and soft. A small kitchenette in both rooms that was a good, although did not use on this occasion. Location is a nice 5 mins to the main pier and main attractions of the town centre.. I visit Llandudno regularly and will definitely use again. Many Thanks. Nothing..
- steve (9/5): Really nice - I stayed here for 7 nights while on holiday and I was very impressed with the size of the room. It was so clean with a newly renovated bathroom and great shower. The bed well I would like to take it home it was so comfy, I can't believe how quiet it was at night with excellent blockout curtains. Dan and Angie were really nice hosts very friendly and you can tell they take great pride in their guest house. Parking on the street can be a little challenging but I was lucky as I always found a space on their driveway
I was in the Beaumaris room which is on the first floor, it had a large window which let plenty of light in but not what I would call a view. The internet speed was super fast about 200mbs PS. If I go back I will definitely stay here again Nothing
- Jane (10/5): - Good location. Clean and comfortable.
- Georgina (9/5): Had a lovely one night stay in Llandudno at the Clifton Villa Hotel - Easy check in just get your key out of the keysafe and return when you leave. Our room the snowdon was large with everything you needed. Very clean , comfy bed and pillows , good location and peaceful. If I had to pick something I would say the shower cubicle a little cosy 😃 also maybe a later check out time 10.30 quite early
- katie (8/5): - Great central location. Room had all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Hosts were helpful and responsive.
- Paul (7/5): Clean, comfortable, great location but just needs updating - Fantastic location, very clean and had the essentials
Good quality shower gel/ hand soap Extremely small shower, somethings need updating / replacing, ,, toilet roll holder, "wardrobe" lampshade
- L (8/5): Great place with equipped mini kitchen in a practical location - We had the Snowdon suite, it was roomy, clean and really pleasant . The small kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable. The location was excellent and surprisingly quiet. Parking was no problem, all really good. Maybe the room décor was a little faded and the shower small. Not a big deal though.
- MARITA (8/5): -
- Dennis (10/5): - The room was fantastic with your own small kitchen so if you wanted you could be self catering also the room was very clean as the rest of the hotel was.
Aggie and Dan are fantastic hosts really helpful and we would definitely stay there again Nothing
- Tyron (10/5): Excellent location - Fantastic location and lovely room.
- susan (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Wonderful room. Ample space and storage.
Kitchenette just right.
Host very helpful.
Location ideal.
Close to all amenities
- DAVID (10/5): -
- Kelvin (8/5): Great location, great hosts. Will return - The location was amazing. The kitchenette is very useful. Would cut down the cost of your holiday. Well equipped dishes, cutlery, pans and condiments. Free street parking Everything was satisfactory
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Great location, easy check-in and friendly. The room was a good size and the kitchenette was very handy. Unfortunately the bed and pillows were not very comfortable, but otherwise the experience was good.
- Chris (8/5): Good and we'd consider another time in future/pass on recommendation to friends and family - Good location, food options on neighbouring streets to cater for all meals and a couple of convenience stores 5-10 minutes walk (Londis, Sainsburys, poundland) for other supplies people may require whilst staying at Snowdonia Apartments. Cat parking just behind if driving to stay and 5 mins from nearest bus stops, 10 mins from pier and attractions, train station and sightseeing bus tours. Bathroom was a little small and lighting options were perhaps a little limited on walls instead of having a main ceiling light on with TV. Wasn't sure about the cereal dispenser on microwave without details, or expiry date information.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Nice clean and cosy room, bed very big and comfy!
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Moira (9/5): Great location. Lovely rooms. -
- Evans (10/5): Exceptional - After using the Clifton Guest house for a good number of years now I can honestly say Dan and Aggie improve the place year on year it is aways a pleasure stopping there and leading up to the break there is never any apprehension on what my stay will be like A1 accommodation A1 hosts thank you Dan and Aggie
- Debbie (10/5): Amazing - Brilliant stay both times
- Lisa (4/5): Not good at all - Nothing really Room was dusty bed was uncomfortable water in the shower was cold this morning shower tray was to high water in the coffee machine didn’t heat up toilet roll felt damp when using no one hosting very clinical and un friendly not what were used to
- Liz (10/5): Beautifully appointed apartment in a quiet, but very central, location. - Loved the super comfy bed, the lovely bathroom and the quiet, but very central, location. Beautifully appointed accommodation in a nice, residential area. We wanted self-catering facilities, so the apartment was ideal.
Hope to return very soon!! Nothing. It was perfect.
- George (10/5): Lovely and clean . Great location. -
- Nicholas (7/5): Good - Loverly property, clean and well equipped room. Good central location. We stayed at Clifton Villa February 2025. The only negative thing we can say is the room was really cold. The heating only seemed to come on for a couple of hours in the morning. This wasn’t so much of a problem to us as we were out most of the time, but if you wanted to spend more time in the room it might be uncomfortable.
- Julie (9/5): Great location - Didn't have breakfast Coffee machine didn't work
- Hannah (9/5): Great little find! - Lovely traditional style guest house. It had everything we needed in the studio and kitchenette for a weekend in Llandudno. The location was great too, really close to town but on a residential street, so it was a little quieter. Lovely character features and the guest lounge with honesty bar was a lovely touch. We parked at the train station and it was less than 10 minutes away by foot to the car. The room was a little cold on the first day but warmed up after we'd had the heating on for a day!
- Arrin (10/5): Amazing we did really enjoy ourselves - The room was big The radiators could do with being bled as the room was really cold
- Ja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (10/5): Friendly staff who welcomed us at the door. Very accommodating. Nice and clean room with the place being in a great loca - Friendly staff Nothing
- Moira (9/5): Superb - The location was ideal - 2 minutes from the beach, shops, restaurants- right in the centre if everything. The accommodation was ideal - a small apartment, with a huge bed (a free upgrade by the owners due to availability). I would highly recommend a stay and will definitely be doing so again. Parking nearby can be difficult, though I managed to get a space not too far away, and on the last day, I was able to use the accommodation parking spot (one of only two).
- Ion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxim (8/5): Very good -
- Melanie (8/5): Relaxing stay - Quite Nothing much a little bit dark maybe a bit more light
- Stephen (9/5): Lovely place to home oneself away from home - Nice apartment with kitchen facilities as well as en suite - can be self sufficient whilst staying here Stairs but that’s only a warning for those with large cases
- Brenda (10/5): Good location very comfortable stay - The room was nice and big the kitchen facilities was a great addition overall was excellent There wasn’t anything
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect, no faults at all.
- Joshua (10/5): Wonderful stay I will definitely stay here again when I come back. - Was a lovely property it was really cosy and is very modern day design Nothing
- Andrew (9/5): We enjoyed our stay -
- Steven (8/5): Would definitely stay again when in Llandudno. - Perfect for our needs. Enough in the kitchenette for breakfast and small meals. Nothing negative.
- E (9/5): Great location, handy for everything - Location Nothing
- Lindseylovestodance (10/5): Enjoyed our good night sleep. Location great - Had a good nights sleep Nothing it had everything we needed for a one night stay
- Lorna (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly host who greeted us on arrival, and carried our suitcases up the stairs to our room/apartment, which was decorated beautifully and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again. Compliments to Aggie and Dan.
- Helen (10/5): clean, tidy, comfy ideal location - location was perfect somebody being around perhaps?
- Pamela (9/5): Great value central location comfortable and clean - This property was close to the centre and was ideal for our short break extremely clean and the kitchenette was so handy
Bathroom was cleaner than in hotels I have paid twice as much money for
- Mark (8/5): Great location but can be tricky to park - The location was spot on.
The room size was good & the bed was comfortable.
The kitchette was a real bonus for us, as we do some of our own meals. The shower would well, just took a bit of time to warm up the water. Would have liked a Netflix on the TV.
It was a bank holiday so parking in the street was hit and miss. To eat at the dining table in our room called Little Orme was a little tricky as you find one of the chairs backs up against the wardrobe.
- Karlis (9/5): Worth a visit - It was fashionable and comfy, definitely worth staying there. The shower was making loud noises,it was quite disturbing to be trapped in the small shower with the emanating sound.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frank (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent.
Very friendly and helpful hosts
- Ann (7/5): Comfortable apartment close to all amenities - The property is very central and within easy walking distance of local attractions, shops, beach and a short walk from the train station.
The room was clean and comfortable. Room up 3 flights of stairs. For me it was fine but anyone with mobility problems will struggle.
Kitchen lacked some basic utensils
- Michael (9/5): Superb -

Owners go above and beyond to make sure our stay was as smooth as possible!
Very very clean!
Lovely little touches to make our stay more enjoyable.
Highly recommend!
- Iain (9/5): Superb - Great location, clean, good facilities and comfortable. Although there’s not staff there they communicated well remotely. Tricky parking
- Patricia (8/5): Very pleasant stay. - Convenient to the town.
- Sarah (10/5): Pristine, well-equipped studio in quiet location. Very attentive proprietors. - I really appreciated the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the thoughtful decor, the lovely welcome from the proprietors and much more! In addition, the property overlooks a quiet street and for sunny days there is a patio area outside with chairs and parasols for guests to make use of. My stay exceeded my expectations and I will certainly be making future bookings at Clifton Villa. There was nothing I disliked.
- Buckley (8/5): Relaxing break to see family and get some exercise - Location was ideal for us. Quiet street but near to all amenities. Had almost everything we needed in the room. Managed to park on the drive so didn't have to look for parking. Needed to bring own toilet rolls. Was extremely warm and could have done with the top window opening. Carpet grip rod had screws sticking out and they were quite sharp. We dis mention this to the owners and they said they would call out the carpet people as they had only just been done.
- Kathleen (10/5): The best memories - This was the most fun place we've stayed at in our two months of traveling the UK! Llandudno is an iconic seaside town with a promenade and pier plus many streets of shopping and dining. We were thrilled to stay at an equally iconic Victorian holiday townhouse just a few streets from the promenade and a few steps from said shopping.
Our flat was large and very comfortable. A ten with a lovely bathroom, the best shower ever, nicely kitted kitchenette and RECLINERS! Boy how I have missed my recliner. The bed was heavenly and everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully renovated.
We were also treated to milk and cereal in the room and tea and coffee makings. Our hosts were so very kind and thoughtful and even carried our luggage up the stairs We would have loved to have stayed forever.
Our hosts gave excellent tips for sightseeing. We greatly enjoyed Penrhyn Castle, walking to the promenade and raiding the nearest antique shop which had a big selection and small prices.
The War Museum was just a few steps away. We found it very well done with fascinating displays and touching memorials. Every town should honor their war dead so well.
Our trip to the ancient copper mine was a blast. I can't believe I went down, down, down through the narrow, damp tunnels and came back alive. I'm kind of feeble but still managed. This is a great and rare opportunity. Don't miss it - especially if you have children.
We hope to return with our kids and grandkids. I can't imagine you could find a lovelier place to stay and such a great value. Many thanks to our wonderful and hard-working hosts! Leaving

The hosts were lovely and attentive. The stairs was 2 flights to the Anglesey room, would of been better to be aware of this on the info prior booking. Also they was a damp smell it’s wasn’t overwhelming but definitely something that should be looked into. besides that it was a brilliant stay.
