Connellsville is a tiny, friendly town, and the ramen from Bali Moon just a block away was done very well. Highly recommended for Fallingwater visitors like us who want to overnight after the tour.

The beds and the bedding were excellent- and pillows amazing! Clean and very comfortable rooms. Bathrooms updated and excellent as well. Oatmeal, eggs , sausage and toast with an amazing potato pancake for breakfast. Bike storage, laundry and refrigerator for guests! Who would stay at the Comfort Inn when you have the personal touches of this B&B.

The room had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and we had a great nights sleep in the very comfortable bed with nice linens. The breakfast was outstanding, served to us fresh at the nicely laid out table. The neighborhood was a bit economically depressed but essentially fine and I would happily stay there again.

Everything you think you could need to recuperate for the next day was provided. The beds were very comfortable. Lucy is an amazing hostess, offering dinner suggestions and making sure you had everything you needed, including safe bike storage and room to work on them if needed. Her breakfast was delicious and filling, with personal touches such as lemon thyme butter and potato pancakes. An amazing place to stay in a great location.

Only glitch is one of 2 main bridges in Connellsville is being replaced ~~~ but with GPS one can find their way to the B&B. Will absolutely stay again!
• Robin (10/5): - We stayed 2 nights in the French Room prior to biking parts of the GAP and C&O. We loved the privacy of this space and a magnificent breakfast was only a short walk away around the corner. While we drove our vehicle to Harper's Ferry, our bikes stayed safe in the bike garage. We discovered we would not be able to walk back from the Amtrak station as planned since that bridge that is so close to the property is under reconstruction. Lucy's husband actually picked us up in his car! They went above and beyond in all respects. Highly recommend
• Samuel (8/5): - Bridge to some stuff was out, walked a mile to eat really good pizza. B&B experience. Owner/Operator super nice and helpful but it’s staying in someone’s house… the details/rules/etc. Room was comfy, had hose/towels for bikes. Breakfast was delicious. If you are after the B&B experience, this place is great. If you’re staying here because you can’t find a hotel, it’s more B&B than Inn.

• Stuart (10/5): - Lovely clean, well lit B&B with nicely decorated rooms. Welcoming hosts drove late at night drove to the nearby train station to pick up my disabled bike. They have a garage to safely store the bikes. Only downside is the significant street and train noise if you're room is on the main street.

We DID need handicapped accessible which it definitely was. Just a lot of city traffic noise. Again. Everything was wonderful. Also breakfast was perfection! Super nice staff!! Very helpful.

Lucy was a gracious hostess, the room was decorated in period furninshing, all very comfortable. The brea,fast were outstanding- all home cooked meals, unique and tasty. As with so many old downtowns, Connellsville is not in its prime but everyone was more than pleasant, there was nothing to be fearful of. All in all, a perfect b&b experience.

Highly recommend!!
• Bruce (10/5): Clean and convenient - The Italian Room is on the Main Street with some moderate traffic noise. The room is nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast of “green eggs and ham” (eggs over easy on ham and toast with fresh spinach and pesto) was excellent. Located a convenient 25 minute drive to Fallingwater.

• Bob (10/5): - Lucy and Guido were great hosts. As cyclists using the GAP trail this location couldn't be better. It is less than 30 seconds from the trail. The ultra clean garage was perfect for our bicycles. Lucy's recommendation to eat at O'Donnell's was spot on. O'Donnell's was less than a 5 minute walk and their service was excellent. I recommend Lucy's place to anyone who wants a clean, safe and friendly place to stay. Cheers.
• Michael H (8/5): Small town B&B - Surprising bed and breakfast that had gone through a full remodel in recent years. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hot, prepared breakfast in morning with social distancing. A bit noisy in front rooms from busy street below. Earplugs are provided. All in all a pleasant experience that we would recommend if in the area.

The shower was great after a long bike ride and the breakfast was ample and tasty and got us off to a good start the next morning. Note that dinner options are mainly pizza, and they all close before 9pm, so order early.

Overall the property is very well maintained and nicely themed based on different European Culture ( Our room was Italian ) . • Lesley (10/5): Great place near Falling Water - The welcome was warm, the facilities were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed having breakfast around a big dining room table, family style. We got to talk with other guests. We were the only ones visiting Falling Water, everyone else was on a biking trip. We didn't realise this small town was on a biking path :)

• Diana (10/5): Beautiful & Clean B&B - What a beautiful B&B! The glass pieces displayed (if you like one, ask Lucy how much, because they are for sale) and glass chandeliers are exquisite! The hosts are friendly and very accommodating! Bed was super comfortable. I heard several trains before falling asleep, but slept soundly the rest of the night. Room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and more food than I could eat. When in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

I took the opportunity to look at the other guest rooms and all were on different themes based on different countries (France, Italy, etc.) and were spacious, en suite, and clean. The place is right down town so there is traffic, but most rooms do not face the street. I'd stay here again, no question. Oh, I met some very interesting people at breakfast as well which was enjoyable.

Also the owners Lucy and Don are very accommodating individuals. They made sure during my mom's and my short stay Apr 22-24 that if there were where any concerns do not hesitate to call them. When my mom and I were there found them very fascinating, welcoming, talkative but fun knowledgeable individuals. -ryan m
