Guest Reviews
- Emily (10/5): An amazing mini get away. 10/10, 5 stars - My 4 children and I came for a mini "spring break" getaway to an amusement park, everything was clean and all were friendly. The pool and hot tub are well kept and times are great for then being open. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing I disliked
- Dmytro (7/5): The location was good and the breakfast was nice; however, the room smelled of cigarettes and the blanket had a few stai - We liked the hotel’s location. The breakfast was good. We didn’t like that the room smelled of cigarettes, and the blanket had some small stains.
- Marcia (8/5): - The bed was uncomfortable.
- Courtney (10/5): -
- Debra (9/5): Quick but comfortable Stay - The location is great. The hotel is comfortable. Our room was spacious. The staff was responsive. I cannot think of anything.
- James (10/5): - Well designed. Comfortable. Clean.
- Lorna (7/5): - Breakfast, staff Comforter on bed was visibly dirty
- Janell (8/5): - Fine hotel for our needed
- Teresa (5/5): Not my best experience at Hampton Inn - Location was great for a downtown wedding venue. The public bathrooms were dirty (both men's and women's), trash cans by elevators were overflowing, complimentary breakfast items were not hot or replenished, tables were not cleaned after someone left, and they were messy with syrup. Temperature in the elevators was very warm, too. The bed was noisy also.
- Alison (8/5): - Breakfast was extensive. Maybe a couple healthier options like a multigrain bread for the toast or non-sugary yogurt would be nice.
Gym was great!
- James (10/5): - Staff helpful and courteous. Facility clean.
- Amanda (10/5): - Staff were nice and pleasant. Easy to get to. Clean and affordable.
- Jessica (8/5): - Nice hotel.
- Calliena (10/5): - Huge room and very easy to get to.
- Bryan (10/5): - Great hotel in a good location!
- Pennie (10/5): - A very nice hotel & the staff was friendly. When we in Minnesota for the State Fair & when we asked about shuttle service, the front desk clerk informed us of a free shuttle very close to the hotel. He was very friendly & answered all of our questions about the free shuttle & how to get there. The hotel also let us park in the lot for free the day of our departure while we were at the fair. A very positive experience. Thank you!
- Jim (10/5): - The rooms were extremely clean. The hallways were nice and bright. My only gripe is the pillows were not very comfortable and an outdoor seating area would be nice!
- James (10/5): - Close to State Fair bus.
- Cameron (10/5): Good value - Great hotel, good breakfast, staff very helpful. Could use a variety of pillows, all of mine very very soft, not much head support.
- Nelsy (1/5): - Receptionist, he was very rude, he told me he couldn’t give me my room because I didn’t have my physical card on me but the room was already paid for it. He end up canceling the reservation even when it was paid for it.
- Kristin (8/5): Pleasant Stay - Our stay was consistent with our experience with other Hampton Inns. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was quite loud in room and thermostat was a little tricky to manage. Breakfast was just okay.
- kendra (10/5): - Great first experience to Minnesota!!
- Susan (6/5): Subpar - Screaming kids in the hallway after 11 p.m. Fridge in our room never got cold, yet the temp of our room when we arrived was 54°... way too cold!
- Julie (8/5): Nice hotel - Beds nice and clean rooms, good condition. Nice shower but shower head just ok. Good experience, breakfast area well stocked also. I asked for total charges at end of stay and she said they don’t know total charges because of third party booking? Strange and annoying I thought.
- Howard (8/5): Great location. - This property works very well for our family. The staff was super friendly.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Front desk staff was great and very attentive. Breakfast was excellent, we loved that there were different options on both days we stayed.
- Huff (9/5): - Well kept, great area, very clean. More than enough parking for all guests too. The property was fine. I wish the mattress was more soft.
- Erin (10/5): - Very clean, safe, and close to anything needed.
- Oyepeju (8/5): - It is okay. The bathroom is small but manageable. Breakfast is good not many options like hot chocolate, scrambled eggs. Very neat and spacious
- Kim (8/5): -
- Spencer (10/5): - It was near enough food options as well as right near main roads for travel.
- Julie (10/5): - Very clean, comfortable room. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
- Jerome F (10/5): - it was fine youwould
- Jerry (10/5): - The pillows were terrible.
- Jen (10/5): - Great place to stay. Very clean and updated.
- Terence (10/5): - Great accommodations and service
- Jaime (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay!
- Myra (10/5): - Safe, quiet, clean, decent breakfast!
Comfy beds, great shower, nice TV
- Michael (10/5): - Great place. Very clean and staff is very friendly. We will stay here again
- Robert (8/5): - I was having problems with my car's GPS and wasn't sure if I was in the right place so I asked the clerk and found out I was. It was about 30 minutes before the scheduled check-in time but my room was ready so he checked me in. I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to leave and come back. I would count that as good customer service.
- Dee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timothy (10/5): - Stayed 5 nights, excellent breakfast and great attitude from breakfast host! Front desk very friendly and efficient. Helped us with some left items. Aldi and Walmart nearby along with several restaurants. Would stay again!
- Sandy (10/5): - We were there to hand off our daughters dog. the room was nice and so was the breakfast.
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice, spacious
- Katherine (9/5): Would stay again, but I’d ask them to change the tv channel to real news. - Very clean , very friendly staff. Fox News was on the breakfast room tv. Why did we have to listen to that trash.
- Stacy (8/5): Very good - Beds were amazing, room was nice and clean and a/c work perfectly.. staff was rude.. They could use manners training. Staff
- Christan (10/5): - Nice place. Great location. Will stay again!
- Erica (10/5): - This is a great convenient location, very friendly and professional staff. Good and hot breakfast as well.
- Nicole (10/5): - Clean and fast.
- Destiny (2/5): Do not recommend - I booked my room in January. The day before my arrival, the hotel emailed me to tell me that they were giving me a different room because they sold out. After I arrived, i went into my room (the one that I originally reserved) and the comforter was disgusting! The guy at the front desk was great, he brought me a clean cover right away.
- Michele (10/5): Repeat Stays - This was our second time staying here and we really do love this hotel. It's easy to get to, shopping nearby, comfy bed and spacious room. There are some good options for breakfast, but the bananas were all pretty squishy for a couple days and then a new batch was set out. The atmosphere was quiet even though several sports teams were on site, we never had any complaints about noise at all. The pool was warm and we enjoyed swimming. When we come back again to Minneapolis, we will most likely choose the same hotel again.
- Christine (10/5): Stay in Roseville - Very clean property. Check in was fast and staff very friendly, respectful and courtesy. Took care of a problem we hard promptly. Property was close to everything we needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Our favorite so far! - So far, the best hotel we've stayed at in MN! One of the cleanest rooms we've had! Breakfast was amazing with so many choices from the buffet!!
The only downside was that they only had one person working in the kitchen, whereas they couldve had someone help with cleaning off the filthy tables made by children!
The spa had a capacity of 7 yet there were probably over a dozen of adults drinking beers in and around it.
The pool was small with a capacity of 30, and it was completely full with guests.
Children ran through the halls, the adults were even just as loud. But I wont hold it against the hotel, everything else made the stay better. Desk help was always polite and welcoming.
I would stay again just because of the Staff, the rooms and food! and the location was great!!
- Nancy (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Norwood (10/5): Exceptional -
- Walter (10/5): - Staff is AMAZING!! Always!!!
- Derek (7/5): Ok - Good location Parking was a mess with construction stuff all over and a lot of broken glass in that area as well
- roadtraveler79 (8/5): Pleasant and quiet stay - Pleasant and quiet stay at this hotel. I found the rooms to be very clean with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The pillows were soft and not very supportive, so if you like a more firm pillow, may want to bring your own.
Nice large breakfast area with plenty of seating and good breakfast selection.
- LORETTA (10/5): Good stay - Nice room. Staff is friendly. Food nearby. Pool and gym available but I did not use. Easily accessible.
- Tricia (10/5): - Lovely stay!
- Tirzah (10/5): - Stayed in a suite. Did not realize that the Master Switch had to be up for charging phones
- Theresa (10/5): - Great hotel! It’s clean, is in a convenient location, and reasonably priced but the pet fee is high.
- Kimberly (7/5): Good -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): - This is a clean, safe hotel, with a lovely pool and hot tub. We stayed several days visitng family over Christmas.
- Thanh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (8/5): Comfortable and met our needs - Location is very good. Close to highway and mall. Having a Walmart and Starbucks in the same plaza is handy. Breakfast was OK.
- Abrahan (10/5): Breakfast - Breakfast was excellent
- Nicole (10/5): - Everything was great only thing was when we got into our room there was still someones leftovers in our fridge that was weird.
- Michele (10/5): Highly Recommend This Place!! - We loved it here. We were just 5 minutes from our kids and our new granddaughter. There's a Super Walmart and Aldi across the parking lot. The room was super spacious and comfortable. The bed was great. The AC and heater were great - we alternated back and forth if it got too warm. Shower was huge and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was incredible: scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits/gravy, French toast, waffles, yogurts, cereals, fruits, etc. Great selection. Pool was also great - the room was nice and warm which helped when you got out of the water. I didn't get into the jacuzzi, but it looked spacious and inviting. We will definitely stay here again when we come to see our kids again soon!
- Nelson (6/5): Too much for too little - Clean room, good location Advertised hot tub, which attracts certain visitors like myself....#1 and only reason I chose this place, poorly maintained hot tub and wasn't at all hot, jets made it colder, didn't bother with it...small cramped king room unlike most I care for....wouldn't bother returning
- Jody (10/5): - The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfasts have so many options.
- Sherry (8/5): - A thanksgiving trip to see family
- Jose (10/5): - Good clean and friendly
- Lee (8/5): - Quick stay while on business trip to Arden Hills. Would recommend to others.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Amber (10/5): - We stay at this hotel every time we take a trip to the cities. Very clean, great pool, amazing breakfast, and convenient, quiet location.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Diane (10/5): - The property was clean and well maintained. Bathroom and shower was huge and well stocked. The coffee in the room was very good.
- ROBIN (10/5): - Convenient to downtown Minneapolis and stadium.
- Rachel (10/5): - Staff was pleasant, pool area was warm
- Lamont (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): - Thank you-
- Lisa (8/5): - The reservation was for a king size bed and ended up getting two queen size beds.
- Ronald (10/5): Successful and fun - Close to the U of M hospital and clinic areas but too close! The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved your breakfast offerings!
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- F4981JCmichaels (8/5): Don't get an attached room unless you need it! - Stayed here for the Minnesota State Fair, since it is close by.
A little disappointed with the quietness of the room. I had an attached room-the kind that has a door available between them-and I could here the people in the other room at 10 p.m., 4 to 4:30 a.m., and 6 a.m. through the door. I didn't hear them through the wall, just the door, so if you are staying here, and don't need an attached room, *be sure* you don't have one. I didn't know this in advance.
The staff was friendly, and called the other people, but still, you will hear them doing normal activities through the door.
Otherwise, everything else was perfect: comfortable, good breakfast, impeccably clean.
Even saw the State Fair fireworks from my top floor room.
- Krebsbach (10/5): Loved the big shower, quiet air conditioner, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast - The property was clean, quiet and comfortable All was great
- Diane (10/5): - …
- Nathan (10/5): - Amazing stay! Loved it
- Susan (10/5): - We only spent one night, but we liked the bigger size of the room, and the large countertop in the bathroom. We did not eat breakfast there as we went to the Denny’s next door which had great service (and loved the pumpkin pecan pancakes).
- NYTraveler1717 (10/5): The service makes this place! - I am updating my review about the TVs not working properly. My colleague said his tv was fine. I should have checked with the front desk to reboot or
Move me and I did not. Front desk staff was superb in addressing my concern! Great service! I don’t think I will spell his name correctly, but Mikael followed us outside to follow-up on the tv thing! Wow! He was so concerned that I had a bad experience. If this guy worked for my company, I would be so proud!
- Rochelle (8/5): Very good -
- Jerzy (8/5): Very good -
- Bonnie (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Noah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heidi (10/5): - Extremely easy to get to, great location to catch park-and-ride to the Minnesota State Fair. Free breakfast was OK, many times stock was low, or non-existent, so had to ask to replenish. Definitely need more fruit. Definitely need more milk. Pool was refreshing, hot tub, hot, and the grounds were pretty to walk around. Plenty of shopping, and places to eat close by. Will definitely stay here again.
- James (10/5): - N/A
- Adam (2/5): - Property had bed bugs and general manager Brad was very unpleasant. Poorly ran and managed. Because of this experience I will no longer use Hampton or Orbitz, will book direct to another hotel. Been a complete joke.
- Raymond (10/5): - Clean
