She also loves bacon and there was none. I liked the fried chicken patties but she doesn’t so no protein for her. Breakfast was the only low point for us.

- Foresta (6/5): Friendly staff, comfortable beds and great location, property is in need of some TLC. - Location and staff The property feels run down. Had 3 different rooms in 1st night. First room, I requested to change because of rambunctious family in the room next door, staff was very accommodating . Room #2, charging station by the bed was broken. Room #3 and final room seemed okay until I settled in I realized it was was making a humming sound and not blowing air. It was late and I was tired and had just unpacked again for the 3rd time, so rather than change rooms I turned it off and went to bed. Informed front desk in the morning and it was fixed by the time I returned later in the day. No issues the remainder of my stay.

Bathroom was difficult to access as it was a very tight fit. Cannot turn the shower on without getting soaked as only one door slides and the fixtures are not an arm reach from the other door opening to the stall so you have to enter getting soaked with cold water before it reaches ideal temperature. Only one person can occupy room to get ready. Usually rooms have the sink and vanity area with room to get ready while other occupant can shower and use the bathroom. Very difficult to move about the bathroom with the right space for door and toilet, sink area as well. Made getting ready a challenge.

- JKnG (9/5): Basic hotel with a great location and large rooms. - Great location. Walking distance to the Bon Secours center (basketball tournament) and right on Main Street where all of the shops and restaurants are. Our room had a kitchenette and the hotel had a fridge with small snacks/meals for purchase at the front desk. We needed to get a late night meal and were able to cook these in our room. That was very convenient. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and very very large. The bathroom was fine, but the shower's water pressure was just slightly low from what you'd expect. We used the valet for the car and it was very well-attended and the staff was great. I think the valet was $18 per night and that seemed reasonable. The main pedestrian areas of Greenville with the shops and restaurants are very close. Nothing. We requested an early check in because we had our dog and they were able to have the room ready in about 30 mins after we arrived. The breakfast was just ok. Its the exact same breakfast that you get at all of these mid level hotels.

Also only a 10 minute walk to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Perfect location if you’re attending any events at the Arena! A little pricey.
- TJouer (8/5): Solid hotel chain for extended stay and consistency - We stayed at the Greenville Home2Suites downtown hotel for the first time, for a longer stay. The hotel is at the quieter end of Main Street, which is fine. The parking choices are limited--you pretty much need to go with the valet service however the in and out is not charged per occurrence. We found our room to be clean and well appointed with low noise level. Overall, everyone on the staff from the valet service to the front desk and breakfast were very courteous. We liked the coffee served at the hotel all day long. From the location perspective, we enjoyed walking through the local historic cemetery across the street. I would probably stay here again especially for a longer stay due to the kitchen facilities in our room.

- David (5/5): - The staff was great and very helpful. The room was wonderful...loved all the extras included in the kitchen. It really was a very good room. There were no luggage racks available for us. We had to make two trips down to tjhe first floor with our luggage. And had to carry our luggage out to get intpo our car without any luggage racks to help us. That was a real sour lemon.

It was a perfect location and the price was great! The bathroom of our room was very dirty. There were cracks in the bathroom floor and mold and soap scum stains everywhere in the shower and sink. The toilet didn’t flush well either.

We also noticed her the next morning working diligently maintaining breakfast setup. Breakfast was also very nice and clean. Room was very clean and well set up. I wasn’t really happy over the fact that the $18 per day valet parking wasn’t noted in reservation process. I didn’t argue with the fact and even tipped the driver on top of those charges, but it should have been reveled better.

It was also within walking distance to downtown and therefore to shops, restaurants, etc. When I booked initially, I did not see a note about being required to have valet parking. That added another $18 per day to our stay. If I had known, I probably would have looked at a different hotel to compare prices given the added cost of the valet parking.

- Linda (8/5): Good room, good value. - Nice staff, close to main st. and the suite with kitchen was nice. Bed was very old and lumpy with a huge dip in the middle. It was clean otherwise. The breakfast waffles didn’t measure out correctly and the syrup was watered down and soaked my half waffle.

- Gabriela (8/5): Nice Stay - The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the room very clean and comfortable. The reason why I don't give it a 10/10 is because the valet parking still charges you even if you don't use it.

- Kathy (9/5): - Scott H! The concierge was absolutely amazing. Helpful, kind, funny, and the sole reason why I’ll continue to come back. The fire alarm going off at 1am, blaring for more than 30 minutes without any sort of communication as to what was going on.

- Chelsey (10/5): Our fav downtown Greenville spot! - We were in town to have a surgical procedure and we got done well before check in time. The staff was so sweet to give us our room early so I could rest. Valet was prompt and courteous. Nothing at all

- suzieraesmom (10/5): Great Alternative - The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was attending a conference at the Hyatt but wanted Hilton points. This was a great solution for that as it was a half block away.

- 758arshads (2/5): Very disappointing and unprofessional. - I stayed at Home2 Suites in Greenville, SC, for four nights but had to leave early due to an emergency. The manager, Hiely, agreed I wouldn’t be charged for the fourth night. I followed up the next day, was given a case number by the helpdesk, and was told my refund was approved. A week later, I still hadn’t received it. When I called again, they suddenly claimed no refund would be issued and closed my case. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The hotel did not keep its word, and I will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The eggs were at very least palatable. Seriously, I will remember how terrible this offering was to start my day! The room was WONDERFUL!!

- Shandra (8/5): Would stay again. - It was very clean. The staff were extremely nice. The location was great- walkable to many shops & restaurants. Not enough luggage carts! Had to make numerous trips with luggage.
