Our request for an early check-in was not a problem, and we especially liked the later check out time of noon. The staff was amazing as well! We will definitely stay here again.

- Irina (8/5): First choice for FS in NY - It’s a new hotel, nice, clean, it fits well into financial district. There is an indoor pool which is not available everywhere. Room service was exceptional, food is amazing. There was a not significant cleaning accident but the staff handled it very well.

- IronmanRS (8/5): Solo trip - Nice hotel. Lobby is a little cold in terms of indulgent welcome but practical in terms of business location. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Service was a little impersonal from time to time. Rooms are great and large for NYC. Great location. I have been lucky enough to stay in four seasons around the world and expect a level of elevated service accordingly. Overall the team did address any oversight and were incredibly helpful and attentive. I would say it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in NyC and would return.

The FS has amazing service, pristine rooms, quiet… it’s an oasis! The staff are all friendly and not intrusive. The food is delicious.

It’s very convenient with multiple subway lines. The nighttime is much more subdued and quieter than midtown. Highly recommend.

The room was good but the overall facilities were a bit limited with a confused breakfast arrangement which was not explained during check in.

- Daniel (10/5): - most countries were great. However, upon check-in, they did their damnedest to try to upgrade me to a more expensive room. They said that Expedia sometimes makes mistakes, and we couldn’t have the room that we were booked at already. I thought back. I provided my itinerary number and my confirmation number. I said give me the room that we were confirmed with I’m going to call Expedia. They then relented. But it was a Darn good fight. I think it’s terrible that they tried to do that. I also had to ask for my resort credit. They then had to look it up supposedly, and finally found it. Wow! Watch out when you are signing in. Make sure you get what you pay for

- Spaceship7 (10/5): Service Rooted in It Founding Principles - This was our first time to NY for a specific event within walking distance. We travel often all over the world and some places that service was impeccable we have seen take a fall and some significant. Personally I noticed the ranking of this location and was on the fence from not knowing what to expect despite its strong brand. We traveled as a family for my business event and this experience was meaningful. From the time we booked, concierge stayed engaged with us, especially for packages concerning dietary needs. Service from beginning to end was indeed 5 stars from the location to Cut by Wolfgang. Mr. Cayacy and his team inclusive of Vasha, Marisa and others showed care the entire time and checked by in on us once we arrived home. We had not issues with food, towels, room cleaning and the pool area was wonderful for our son to enjoy. This level of service has set the benchmark for us and a preference for this brand in our global visits. Thank you to Mr. Cayacy and his team for making our stay memorable and the team at Cut. The location made accommodations for our vegan diet. I highly recommend this location for its service and location. A memorable service and thank you

- Y1145TNlucasf (4/5): definitely not 5 stars - Stayed at this hotel with some friends. Food was subpar the free madeleines they give are not made fresh they taste frozen. This I know because I asked, the room service attendant they stated they are made in house, but I have bought this brand St Pierre before from local markets. Secondly, we ordered salmon, and the fish tasted like they got it in fresh then froze it so much waterlogged in the fish. Also, we had some way past expired items in our mini bar for the room to cost what it does the experience should have been better. Lastly their Breakfast menu is horrible, only 3 bagel options and the bagels also taste frozen definitely not your traditional NYC bagel. Deep fried French toast is a greasy log. The chef definitely should consider re-thinking any menu items.

- AnnabelleTh (6/5): Good rooms but service is lacking. - We booked a suite and a Hudson twin when we arrived they had changed our suite to a slightly bigger one . The twin room for the big kids and our youngest was going to stay in the suite on a rollaway. Having stayed in 5 Four seasons in the last 4 months, a rollaway in a suite has never been issue, and the request has always been met with a positive response and the bed has been delivered promptly or there before we arrive. Here it was a problem, the room had a sofa bed and they wanted him to sleep on it we do not they are never comfortable and it means the sofa would be out of use. We had to speak to at least 5 different people to arrange this, it took a couple of hours and a charge of $200 per day, we have never been charged for a rollaway in our 20 + stays in a Four Seasons. We were given many different reasons why we couldn’t have a rollaway and then told it was ok if we paid!! Turndown service doesn’t exist here you are just given water and ice. There is none of the dimming lights, closing curtains, replenishing bathroom items, leaving slippers out, etc. in fact house keeping often don’t replenish items. The rooms are modern and functional. The food on room service is of good quality. The staff on the door never ask if you need a taxi, or help with directions etc. There is no dedicated concierge, front desk staff seem to fill this role, you would expect a hotel like this to have a Clefs d’or concierge. There is nowhere to sit during the day or evening as a family and have a coffee or champagne there is no lobby lounge as such. Breakfast service is brusque and we left. We eat breakfast at all the other 5 star hotels instead. The bathroom is lovely but water pressure is poor. The service Four Seasons is famous for doesn’t exist here nor does the we can arrange virtually anything attitude. We will not return.

Ordered room service soup and my friend got really sick after eating it and it tasted so terrible. Was a basic chicken noodle. The worst we had ever tried. We reported it to manager. No one cared to check up on us. Will be my last four seasons experience though I used to love the Four Seasons brand but after this, I’ve decided they are no longer living up to the hype and not worth the $700-900 per night price tag for sure.

Even before we checked in, the service was impeccable: Vash ran out to Bloomingdales to pick up some dresses I ordered for a funeral and they ordered us a car from the airport. It was our son’s 5th birthday, and our room had cupcakes saying “Happy Birthday!” along with his favorite beverage (apple juice). AND we were awestruck by our 1-BR, 2-BA suite. It an unexpected, but very appreciated surprise. Min, in particular, made our stay SO special. Samantha in Reservations, the Guest Relations team, Robert the house car driver, and even the Director of security went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We already loved The Four Seasons but this particular stay was the absolute best. Thank you!!!

Pool, spa and fitness center on the 3rd floor. I had a king size bed on the 17th floor. Large space for New York!! Bathroom had large tub. Separate shower and toilet. Ordered room service and the food was good. Cocktails in the bar were also divine. I will come back to this location for sure. Worth the penny.

- Kristina (8/5): - I am giving four stars because the pool water was cold and the in room dining food was below expectations for a place like this. However i had a great spa experience, the room was very quiet, and i cant speak highly enough of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I had a local errand to run that i just mentioned offhand to make polite chit chat, and i was offered the use of their hotel driver/car, which was unexpected and amazing. If they fixed the 2 itemsni mentioned id give it 5 stars.
