Walter (6/5): - I didn't realize this was an off-season ski resort when I booked a place near Mt. Rainier. It was fine. Anyone wanting easy access to the Sunrise area of the National Park would do well to stay here.
Alexandra (8/5): - We stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting Rainier national park and it was very convenient for that. We had a very friendly and helpful welcome and generally the team members we spoke to during our stay were super helpful. The room had a nicely updated bathroom, but was otherwise a bit tired. Housekeeping had done a wonderful job making sure it was as clean as it could be, although long term stains in the carpet suggest it should have already been replaced. Bed was comfortable and we didn't have any problems with noise, but there weren't that many people staying. The breakfast offered was basic, but there was plenty. The team member on the first day was super organised and nothing ran out before it was replaced. Disappointing with someone else the following two days when we, and others, had to keep going to find them and ask for different things as they hadn't been put out, that individual definitely gave the impression they didn't care.

Day 1 power was off in the building they found us a temporary room for the night, day 2, back to the original room, other travelers decided to party very loudly until 4.30am in the morning. customers services is not always responsive on the phone so if you need something you need to walk or drive to the reception which is not in the same building. Rooms are outdated and expensive for what you get.
Herbert (6/5): - Not a good place for anyone with walking difficulty. Room was very small, no table, no soundproofing. Food was excellent, everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Lots of natural beauty!
Salina (8/5): - Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was accommodating with good food. Rooms were clean and the patio was lovely in the evenings and mornings. During a heat wave they felt hot and stuffy-bring a fan. A bit pricey for what you get, but the convenience makes it a solid choice.

Olivia (10/5): - Stayed here for quick access to Mount Rainier. I loved it! Didn’t feel like camping for a week so this was perfect. About 20 minutes from Sunrise entrance, had food and gas about 19 miles up the road. Super convenient location & was very quiet during the week.
Monica (2/5): - Filthy carpet, uncomfortable bed, showerhead fans out so you can’t get wet if you stand in the middle, but it’ll spray right outside the shower curtain. Free breakfast has bagels and French toast but no butter or syrup. It’s summer, but really guys…come on. And for $170, it’s a joke.

Terry (8/5): Economical on-mountain hotel - Ski trip. Room is clean, compact, and comfortable, and a 1200 ft walk to lifts. Property is older but well maintained, and rooms are updated. Walls are a bit thin but place is quiet at night. Don't expect 4-star luxury, the place has a ski-lodge vibe including a common "living room" space upstairs. Refrig in room was appreciated. Easy parking in front of hotel building. Restaurant and pub across parking lot are only dinner options, but are good and average priced. We would stay again.
LEOPOLDO (6/5): - Tons of pubic and other peoples hair on the floor specially in the bathroom. Told them to clean it and they ignored us until i was very upset they just moved us rooms but they made us feel like we were picky customers.
teodora (4/5): - The room is overpriced for what it is. Its small and uncleaned. We were visiting with our baby and asked for a crib. They gave us this ancient metal thing, good thing we brought our own. When we got there, the receptionist was talking to another guest. Didn’t acknowledge us at all. I had to interrupt their conversation, while holding a baby to ask for my room key. On check out was the same. Noone was there. I left the key and vm, letting them know. The next day i get a message for check out. The walls are super thin. If you are staying on the mountain side, all you hear is busses and equipment.

P (4/5): - We stayed at the quicksilver lodge. It’s quite dated. It’s fine if you’re not spending much time in the room. We were hiking so not a big deal but it’s certainly not a place to lounge.

One thing that was particularly dissapointing was that we had chosen the property with breakfast inclusion on Expedia. The hotel charged extra for sunday breakfast saying that they charge for sundays. Not sure if it is the hotel property or Expedia's mistake but doesn't leave a good impression. But besides that, location was fantastic and the staff was very responsive.

michael (4/5): - These are very basic accommodations. Probably ok for a ski trip if you don’t spend time in the room. The ‘better’ rooms in the quicksilver lodge include a sink in the bedroom not in the bathroom! Feels like a dorm room which may be fine for motel but not what you expect for over $300 a night! Floors and walls are thin, so expect to hear conversations in the room next door and every every movement above - creaking and stomping all night long. Not for light sleepers

Joel (10/5): - Let me first mention this isn't a fancy hotel, but it doesn't advertise itself that way. I wasn't looking for fancy. I was looking for clean and convenient and it met those needs. My room was dated in its design with the sink in the sleeping area versus the bathroom and had blinds instead of curtains. Thankfully the room faced west and the morning sun wasn't an issue. That said if you need a room that is pitch black dark in the morning, you may want to look elsewhere. The staff was friendly and helpful with information about the local area. The free breakfast located at The Alpine Inn was lacking in options. Everything is carb based, waffle maker, pastries, etc. Nothing with protein except hard boiled eggs. Knowing all of this I would stay there again if visiting the Mt Rainier area.

All kinds of outdoor construction and tree removal going on. Free continental breakfast on weekdays at Alpine Inn.

Verified traveler (6/5): Village Inn at Crystal Mtn - the check-in process and person were friendly and easy. The room had a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker with good coffee (Peet's). The the property description did not indicate these would be available. The website did indicate that a restaurant and bar were on the premise. This was absolutely not the case, the restaurant and bar were a significant walk. It was not clear from the website that stairs needed to be negotiated to get to the room. The bed was well made and bedding clean. There was someone else's hair on the shower walls and soap scum around the bath tub. the table in the room was dirty and the window blinds were very dusty. The room was very loud starting early in the morning due to heavy equipment movement.

David (10/5): - Although the walls are thin, we found our remodeled room perfect for the two of us. Our coffee machine overheated and broke, but the brought a new one right away. Shower water was hot (hairdryer really weak though). LOVED the ease of parking and walking everywhere. Also, you can't get ski tickets on the weekend without an ICON pass, so the vouchers were a godsend. Cruddy snow, but awesome time!

The bed was very uncomfortable- terribly thin, squeaky, and the middle was so sunken in my partner and I got stuck in there! Very friendly staff, well organized.

The building we stayed in was recently updated inside and was clean and comfortable. The only negative we perceived is no recycling on the property, so we packed ours out.

Scott (4/5): - Went to this property 2nd week of September for hiking in Mt. Rainier National Park. Stayed at this ski resort property due to relatively close proximity to the National Park. The property smelled bad/moldy in common areas and room. The sheets on one bed were discolored and dirty. The TV was small (20 inches) and the reception and picture quality was poor. The TV remote did not work, so had to change channels by getting up and pressing buttons on TV itself. No front desk staff member was present when I went to check out. Waited 5 minutes for him to show up so I could check out and then no apology from him for not being there. Only one restaurant and bar open at property in summer. When walked to to restaurant and bar area (restaurant upstairs, bar downstairs) young guys standing and sitting outside smoking marijuana. Might be better option for young guys winter ski vacation due to ability to walk to ski lifts and probably less concerned with my complaints listed above.

Edward (8/5): Go Refund me. - The Village Inn needs 100% updating. Although we can appreciate aging, the carpets were tattered, the walls need painting, the ceiling in the shower show water damage, the remote for the t.v. doesn't work, and you can hear creaking and anyone walking above our room. But the bed was comfortable and the view magnificent. It was a high price $30.00 room.That sums it up!
Claudette (6/5): Crystal Mtn Resort - The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The accommodations were expensive for the age / size. The room / BR were very small. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. The stairs to the loft area were steep and small. The loft area is OK for kids. The Lobby was nice with lots of seating, a large gas fireplace. The gaming table was fun, too. Dining at the Alpine Restaurant was OK; staff friendly/ helpful, food OK. Great access for the Gondala and good hiking options at the top
Verified traveler (6/5): - I stayed at the Quick Silver Lodge. The room has one queen bed on the ground floor and two double beds in the alcove on an upper level. The bathroom smells of sweat, and the coffee machine does not work. Also, there is no sound proof so you can hear your neighbors. Even though there's no air conditioning, the room is cool. The best part of this resort in the summer is the gondola ride to Summit House restaurant. The views of Mount Ranier and the Cascades are amazing!

The only restaurant on site had exborant prices for food and nearest alternatives over an hour away in either direction. The room itself is horribly outdated and could do with a refurbish. My biggest issue is the paper thin walls which means noise travelling easily and it was difficult to sleep at night. Overall I don't recommend this hotel.

Tiny sink and the lights above was missing a bulb. No air conditioning. Very hot uostairs! Very shabby breakfast and it cost $15 over the weekend!
Verified traveler (10/5): - Mylan at the check in desk was great. I liked the Alpine Inn restaurant. There does need to be more food options, though, including a cheaper one. Wish there was an open convenience store on site to buy things like sunscreen.
Verified traveler (6/5): - Don't have a hair dryer in the room. You need to check one out from the front desk if needed and you want to do so early because they can run out of it. Hot water was unstable, which only lasted for a few mins when I took a shower in the morning.

Ramon (2/5): Expensive hot and sleepless night - For what it is, this hotel is unbelievably overpriced. We had an extremely hot room with no AC, and paid over $300 a night for 4 people in one room. Very dated and needs several more stand up fans in the room at a minimum. No insulation in the walls and party people running up and down the halls until late hours of the night. We got absolutely no sleep and paid $300 to stay in a hot and old 1960s hotel that appears to never have been renovated. The only plus was we were able to get into the park early. Wouldn’t stay again.

Verified traveler (4/5): - I had booked 2 rooms and there was 4 of us. Just so happened to visit when weather conditions were hitting triple digits. There's no AC. We were lucky to have a portable fan bought to us upon request. We had dinner at the Alpin Inn Restaurant. Their menu was very limited. They served room temp water. Had to ask for ice. Food was mediocre for the price paid. Our rooms stayed in the 80° all night with our window screen opened and fan on while outside was cooled down. I would've been much happier camping at this point. Continental breakfast was free (only on weekdays) at the Alpin Inn Restaurant. Had muffins, toast, boiled eggs, bagels, apple, oj and coffee. It was horrible. Bagels were hard as a rock. Ended up tossing it away. They only had 1 apple left and ask for more fruit. Told me it'll be a minute which it was never. Only had oj for 1 cup. Service was the worst. I believe if you stay at crystal mountain during winter season it'll be better than the summer. We just came the wrong time. But i'll never come back here again.

Verified traveler (6/5): Overpriced for low quality - Unit provided (in Quicksilver Lodge) was VERY different than shown in photos online. Booked to sleep 6, but was very cramped and missing towels (more provided on request). Bedding was low quality. No microwave in unit - only in common lounge area. VERY overpriced for the quality (below average).
Verified traveler (4/5): - Front desk greeting very unfriendly and border line rude. Asked about other rooms it was like pulling teeth, gave up. Unhelpful. I knew hotel was going to be dated, but this is rough for the price.
Verified traveler (8/5): Hard to beat the location, good for a ski trip. - Location is great, free parking out front so that makes it easy. Nice to have parking away from the big public lots. Room was clean and comfortable. The main issue I had was that the bed was too soft, I need a firm mattress. But I am kind of particular about a mattress, so I made the best of it. Locker for your skis or snowboard which was nice. Although I checked out early, I was able to leave my car where it was till the end of the lift day, which was also very helpful. Had a great time riding Crystal, and I would recommend Quicksilver Lodge to other singles or a couple. If you have a family or large group, renting a place with a full kitchen might be better. Very happy with my stay and I will be back for sure.
Michelle (8/5): Crystal Mountain Village Inn - It was nice staying close to the ski hill, but it was a “ski in” hotel but not ski out. You have to walk up the hill which isn’t too bad if you’re in shape. Comfortable bed and room, nice to have a little balcony (too cold to use), only complaint is no ice. Nice stay for a decent price of staying at a ski resort.

Chris (8/5): - Location. Loved being able to ski to your room. Didn't like that there were no stores close to the property to pick up things you forgot. Didn't like that you essentially had to eat at their high priced facilities. No stove available and cooking using anything else (crockpots, hot plates, etc) wasn't allowed
Nag (6/5): - Price I paid and the Amenities/facilities available doesn't match very well. Nothing else was available so I gone with this choice but I will not recommend this at this price.
Kay (6/5): - We were in the Quicksilver Lodge - a rather old ski motel. The positives are that it was clean, the beds & pillows were nice enough, it has huge windows that open (which seems particularly covid-19 positive to me), and the location is great. The negatives are the thin, thin walls/doors, so a very noisy stay, where we could hear all our neighbors walking, talking, kids yelling, etc well into the night. It’s good to be young - my son up in the loft didn’t hear a thing! Loved walking across the parking lot to the Crystal Mtn Gondola, and only about a 45 min drive to the Sunrise lot @ Mt Rainier for fantastic hiking.
Lauren (6/5): - Pluses: convenient location for exploring Rainier, good restaurant with outdoor seating with heaters if you want one (and take out orders as well). Friendly staff. Breakfast is included but it comes in a sack. Pro-tip: just grab your sack and head up the mountain to beat the crowds. Minuses: older property, small rooms, thin walls.
