Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): - Good value for money
- Michael (10/5): - Clean
- Andy (2/5): - The only good thing about the room I stayed is the view and window was able to open and close.. clean room....
The bad things....one of the bathroom didn't have any hot water....no lights in the stairwell and half landings as I was on the top floor.... bathrooms need badly transforming.... need to spend money on the property....
- william (6/5): Good value - Was good and clean and central location for what i paid
- Barry (4/5): - There was no one there to book me in at reception, after me arainging as set time by phoe and email,
The accommodation was basic ,
The room was horrendously noisy both day and night 24-7 with pople and children constantly shouting,
Also verry noisy Moter Cars and lorry's and extremely noisy motorbikes constantly as well all the time with yong juveniles not to mention the Dogs,
The stairs in side the property to yuor accommodation where verry dangerous extremely steep going up and down with a dangerous iron gurder below head room for you to bang and damage your "Head", All of this was verry disappointing and upsetting a Horrendous experience,
Not nice totally spoilt my short holiday for the fist time in Los Cristianos Tenarife,
- Richard (2/5): Would avoid - The room was dirty and small you didn’t even get a tv or a fan in the room wouldn’t recommend at all even had to use a shower with others that was never cleaned and had hairs all over it
- Darko (4/5): Very bad experience - Hello i didn't expect that bad, one month before they send me email for self chek in 48h i contract they don't respond (that is big stress you are going without checking), when i arrived in Tenerife aeroport i call him and then respond they give me instruction the code and everything. The room is very small like prison, sharing toalets very dirty. For my 14days i got only 1 towel and one shower gel(because i ask). Not communicating with the host. To many Italian people make a lot laud, sometimes is looking scary. I been in so many places, but this place is realy not recommended even for free.
Very disappointing
- Ashley (8/5): - Good value for money
- Paul (6/5): - Getting the key code for the door was a nightmare.
- Ruslan (4/5): - No wi fincoverage in the room , no hot water , shower was broken
- Thomas (8/5): - Did the job for me but you get what you pay for. €25 you can’t complain for a base, literally to wash and sleep. Single room with shared facilities - only issue being only one shower worked out the two. Did have an issue with the room number when I got there but with a quick WhatsApp it was sorted (Thank you). In shared accommodation so it’s lucky dip with the neighbours noise. And I had an external room which was good to cool the room . Central Los Cris, brilliant spot for a solo base. I’d use it again .
- Carmen (8/5): - Good area, close to the beach!
- Victoria (6/5): Good location. Functional. - Basic but adequate for one night (and bargain for 25 euro). Perfect location for port but would not want to stay longer in a room without a window. Maybe balcony rooms better. Check in lock box but code kept changing -however owner was helpful.,
- Richard (10/5): Play it again . - Really enjoyed my stay. Excellent hotel situation for me once located.
Hotel and room very clean, loved the room and balcony.
However I found the mattress uncomfortable as were the meager pillows.
The forwarded information , how to access keys were incorrect and had to wait for the establishment to forward correct info whilst standing around outside, that was stressful. Eventually once I settled in my stay was on the whole really enjoyable .
- Daniel (2/5): - The room looked completely different like on pictures. There I was concerned about cleanness of that place. Neither any soap for washing hands was there. Very old place and dirty. The best was the Terrasse with a nice view for see where we spent most of our time. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all and we had sleepless night.
- Jacopo (10/5): - The location is just perfect. It is not a 5 star hotel but for the price paid it is a great choice for budget travellers.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room is fine (budget hotel) however
- Jacqueline (6/5): - It was very small but quiet and right by all the restaurants and beach. Wifi only worked if i was in the bathroom that worked on a motion light that kept turning off while I showered but for 25e a night it was good to not have to share a room. I don’t know about parking as I was walking. It was difficult for me to find it at first as I don’t speak Spanish. If you only need a place to sleep it was pretty good
- Verified traveler (4/5): Confusing check in experience but close to harbour - - Location was ideal for the beach and harbour, we were on the third floor and it was overall quiet most of the night.
- check in was very confusing and quite stressful. No communication prior to 24 hours before we arrived and no communication after we left the keys on the last day.
- When we arrived owner could not talk on the phone to us as he was in a meeting, no way of getting access as keys were not in the safe box. Turned out the cleaner had the keys but only spoke Spanish and let us in whilst she cleaned the room. Owner then text later to say we had two sets of keys but we only had the one set the cleaner gave us leaving us worrying where the other set was and how secure the room was.
- Room itself was clean the cleaner was working on her own and did a great job and mopped the room out she was very hard working.
- we did not like the lack of a fire escape, no visible smoke alarm in the room, or the steep winding stairs when it was dark. Overall we didn’t feel at ease.
- Electrics in the hall buzzed all night, and the window in our room leading onto the landings was not secure enough so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving any valuables.
- Light on the stairs and in the hall on a short timer and it goes off leaving you in darkness. Ceiling on the steps very low.
- close to the beach, harbour and supermarkets. Ideal location for a budget traveller or someone who just needs a place to sleep for a ferry, but you get what you pay for. Very basic but a place to sleep.
- Kris (4/5): - This is a cheap stay which is what I was looking for, to stay over before catching the ferry in the morning. My main requirement was to get a decent night of sleep. The place has many rooms and most share communal bathrooms. This meant there was a constant slamming of doors as other guest left their rooms to use the bathrooms. In terms of the room itself, clean and in order. There were 2 beds which looked the same. However, one of the mattresses was nice and firm, whereas the other was way too soft and uncomfortable.
Also the Wifi did not exist.
- Michael (8/5): - 10/10
- Hazel (4/5): Good location. The rest? - Excellent postion in Los Cristanos. Beds very uncomfortable some new pillows are required.
Our room was up 3 flights of stairs. If your not fit this is not for you. Bath room not great needs totally modernising.
- Mats (2/5): - dirty, bad communication and overall pretty odd.
- Claire (8/5): Good value for Solo stay - Stayed in a room with private bathroom with balcony including sea view , close to Beach , and Port (tho be warned the sea is down some steps and no lift in property so not suitable for people with mobility issues) other thing to feedback is the hallway lights were on a very short timer i had to put my phone light on to be able to see.
- Noorul (10/5): Convenience - Good stay value for money
- Michael (10/5): - 10/10
- Sharon (2/5): Not Recommended for Holiday Makers - Smell of smoking and other things
Lots of stairs.
It was a place suitable for those at a loss for housing.
Tiny room. Noisy.
It is not suitable for us, as both my friend - we both have mobility issues.
No communication from hosts, except for a video instructing on how to enter.
Lights on timer, so dark when navigating to the room.
We arrived late as flight delayed. Informed them of this but no response.
We tried messaging our complaint. No response.
It was too late to find somewhere else, so stayed for a few hours until light and vacated, putting our keys in the key disposal box. We had booked for 4 nights.
We didnt feel safe.
We had the impression that it was a homeless shelter, so not something that you would expect to book on Hotels.com. The whole place stunk of weed.
However, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We contacted the hosts in English and Spanish and have not heard from them.
- Tiina (6/5): - The location is very good for arriving/departing the ship that goes to La Gomera. The hotel is simple and practical, suitable for one night.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very poor! - Incredibile small rooms shared bathrooms with no hot water or proper shower, very dangerous stairs
- Armantas (10/5): - You get what you pay for, it's fine for the price to spend the night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Small cheap room, clean and central - I was lucky to get sea views although most individual rooms have internal windows. Would stay again for a short trip.
- Paul (10/5): - Very clean. One toilet not working but there was two on floor 1 so not really a problem.
- Atle (8/5): - No internet
- Bernadette (8/5): Good value - Good value basic room for short stay we payed extra so had balcony and bathroom. Good stay would return.
- Claude (8/5): 6/10 - It does the job its basic which i dont mind its somewhere to stay at end of night but only issue was banging of doors someone knocking on wall then banging on door at 1am thinking it was me an i just woke up with someone's tv was very loud even tho there was no tv in the room thats what i couldn't understand. I think because everywheres tiled it makes sound worse . no respect . Also if you have any mobility issues its a no go as there are lots of stairs inside and just outside the property. I must say i only spoke to one man thats was friendly an he was a painter lol .
- Scott (6/5): - Room was great.
Just need clean towels and bedding more often.
- Dustin (8/5): A clean bed to sleep in a Great location - Clean. Affordable. Place to sleep
- Rachel (10/5): - Great facilities, clean, easy to check in, really convenient for town and beach.
No outside space
- Rachel (6/5): - The property was nice and clean and lovely shower , unfortunately we had a very noisy neighbour, who was up half the night , very inconsiderate to others.
- Chris (4/5): Just a place to stay for one night only - People smoking in the building despite all the signs saying not to. People up with their light on until 4am so the light shines in your room. Toilet next to our room so you could hear every bowel movement of your guests.
- Andrew (10/5): Good Clean central Option - Good central location, very clean. Comfortable room
- Richard (4/5): - I shall contact Hotels.com further about the issue of check in . There is confusion and ambiguity about when check is possible….particularly for arrival after 6.00pm. I queried a message from the hotel a few days before the booked stay with Hotels.com ((there will be a record of this) and an agent promised to get back to me. Did not hear anything. VERY poor communication. Arrived at casa blanca very worried that entry would not be possible. There seems to be misunderstanding between hotel and Hotels.com and the customer suffers as a result.
- Paul (10/5): - Very clean.
- Deepak (6/5): Great Location, good price - The location was great, just few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The room could have been better. Wifi was not working during our stay and some basic things were missing - no handwash/hanging rails in the bathroom etc. Overall good value for money option if you are on a budget.
- James (2/5): - There was no one to let you in the property I had no WiFi or internet to try and gain access. Locals are not helpful. Took an hour to get access, there was no WiFi available all night. There is a family that live on 2nd floor the man is very aggressive and was screaming at me for trying to gain access at 12am. There was no toilet roll in the toilet. There is only 1 plug in the room. The single room was smaller than a prison cell. The next morning at 11.31 1 minute after check out they are banging on your door and stay at the door till you leave. I know it was cheap but I’ve stayed in better hostels for £5 a night. Vile
- Rory (8/5): - Service was good
- Andrew (8/5): Cheap and Cheerful - Basic but location was incredible. Think the stay depends on the other guests. When there the other guests were respectful and quiet. Small and basic but value for money.
- Julie (8/5): - The room was comfortable but small. The balcony was nice. (though the outdoor furniture could use some refreshing). I was quite disappointed that there wasn’t an electric kettle to make my tea. I guess I didn’t know what to expect in a pension. I don’t know if it was an oversight or the way they do things, but there was no soap and no extra toilet paper. We enjoyed our two nights there.
- mohammed (2/5): - Disgusting. I was not allowed entry. It was late due to flight dekays. No response from this hotel. I had to sleep on the street. It was too late to get any alternative accomodation. Absolutely disgusted
- T W (8/5): Decent basic stay - The room was basic but fine for the price and suitable for needs during a short stay
- Andrew (10/5): - I will definitely be back later in the summer.
- Andrew (10/5): Spot on - Perfect for a solo traveller
- Amine (6/5): - You get what you pay for with no surprise.
Good: hot water, clean chambers, good price.
Bad: basic tiny rooms, no fan/fridge/kitchen/dish. Limited reception opening hours.
Bottom line: good enough for one night.
- Ross (8/5): - Clean, basic accommodation perfect for short stay
- Ross (8/5): - Perfect for a short stay
- wayne (10/5): Great holiday - Another flawless holiday. Clear and precise instructions on how to go the keys. Definitely going to return here soon
- Jonathan (2/5): - Avoid like the plague
- Jonathan (2/5): - I booked this as I only needed a 2 night stay, but when I arrived and saw the state of the place and the size of it and the noise from other guest I just handed my keys back. Like a crack den is the best way I can describe this place !
- Shane (10/5): - I was in holiday with friends and stayed here. Its exactly wat 1 person needs for great value.. in great location.
- Lenka (10/5): - Good choice for an inexpensive stay. Well located and clean.
- Andrew (6/5): - For cheap and local place to stay yiu can’t find better. Ok the bathroom is shared but the rooms are clean and all you need. Nice and safe and in great location 3 mins from beach front.
- calvin (10/5): Excellent - 10/10, booked this last minute as messed up my flights & needed an extra night, was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for the price, room 105 looking out to the road, excellent base & would highly recommend as centrally based & very clean.
- Graham (10/5): - Excellent location just back from the harbour and great value for a solo traveller
I'll definately be back next year.
- Terry (6/5): Last minute break to tenerife - Rooms very small communL bathroom no hot water in wash basin so have to run the shower to clean anything, location was good down 3 lots of steep steps takes you almost to the beach so for the price good for short stay.
- Carol (10/5): Solo Traveller - Booked a 4 night budget break so I could surprise my mum for Mother's Day. Was a little worried after booking that it was a shared bathroom. All I can say is for anyone on a budget this hotel is well worth the money that I paid per night. Everything was spotlessly clean and I would use again if I come back in the next few years. As im getting on a bit myself the stairs would be a killer for anyone with mobility issuse (no lift).
- Graham (10/5): - As a solo traveller this is very good value considering its location just back off Los Christianos harbour. I was in 306 which had a great harbour view. The room was very small but perfectly adequate. Wi fi went off a few times but staff were very helpful and it was only off for a short while. The top floor, 3rd floor has two WC / showers which is good but because of low water pressure sometimes the toilet won't flush or the shower does not flow.
Despite this I would still recommend this property due to its excellent location and value for money if your a solo traveller.
- Alison (4/5): - Liked proximity to promenade.
Negative no working light in bedroom reported on day 1 still nobody came in darkness for our whole 2 night stay…ridiculous also no answer to email either. Nobody met us on arrival. Extremely noisy street all night and strong continuous smell of cannabis.Would not recommend.
- wayne (10/5): Fab place to stay - Really good communication to gain access to the property, excellent location and the room was spotless. I saw the cleaner in twice every day so no faults at all. Definitely going to return.
- Seyed Majid (2/5): - Never waste your money by staying at this property.absolutely rubbish.even not suitable for half day.
- scott (8/5): Los christianos on a budget - If you are on a tight budget and are looking for a clean and very reasonable priced place to stay then you can't go wrong here not really suitable if you have mobility issues as up hill from beach and three floors of steps no lift would stay again only 5 minutes walk from the beach and harbour
- Gillian (10/5): Small by clean and in the right place - It's a very small room but in a very convenient and central location. Communications were good. Staff were helpful.
- Olga (6/5): - Cheap for Los Cristianos, 5 minutes walk to the port. Parking problem. Difficult check-in - when booking, it was indicated that payment would be made on site upon arrival, but it turned out that check-in was contactless only after paying online. It was no longer possible to change the reservation to add credit card information. Fortunately, we were saved by a hostel employee who came to us 15 minutes later. The Hostel has several floors. On the ground floor there are 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms. I also want to note that it is very noisy. Guests come and go and party all night
- Graham (10/5): - Great location just back off the harbour. Perfect for solo travellers snall room but clean and comfortable and great view over harbour from 306. Very clean in common areas sometimes toilets would not flush was only minor problem otherwise very good value for money
- Clive (4/5): - Very basic; felt like a prison cell. No opportunity to make a hot drink. Not even a bin for rubbish.
Sometimes a cheap room backfires.
The cleaners were lovely, however checking in was not a good experience.
On the plus side it is handly placed for the front.
I would give the overall experience 2/5
- Peter (6/5): - Well located, basic room but clean and nice balcony.
Value for money
One bed uncomfortable, other OK.
Very difficult getting access initially, no staff.
Good place to stay for one night.
- Mate (10/5): - Neat property with all you need, and very affordable through self check-in and all-around support via whatsapp.
- Scott (8/5): - .
- Graham (10/5): - Located just back off the Harbour this is in a great location and is very good value for money for a sole travellor. Kept very clean.
- Kseniya (10/5): - It was quick but very nice stay. The property is easy to find and they gave me very clear and helpful check-in instructions. The room was very clean and bottled water was very much appreciated. The property is right in the middle of the shopping/restaurants area on a one way traffic street. Of course you can hear the life of the city, so be prepared for that. Two great beaches are less than 10 min walk. Great stay - thank you!
- Magdalena (2/5): - The most disgusting place I ever stayed in. Go to a hostel, or sleep at the airport, or in a tent, anything's better than this place. Dirty, stinky, unhygienic, never cleaned, cockroaches of every size, windowless rooms, no air ventilation whatsoever, not even soap in the toilet, loud and full of cigarrette smoke. It has some permanent homeless clientele that treat the area as their own with open room doors, loud music and yelling. The owners are no better, they live upstairs as I heard them (from my room) talking about me - their loud tv, telephone conversations, woman constantly yelling and waking up her children, children constantly wailing. This list could go on forever. An absolute nightmare.
- Jason (2/5): - Always had a bad smell of smoke from other occupants. Toilet flush didn’t work so we had to use a bucket. Shower was cold. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all for one of two days. Other occupants were noisy, walked around semi-naked and played loud music with their doors open.
- Leon (10/5): - Cheap and clean. No problems staying here at all
- paul (4/5): - The room was tiny 6m2 . No window shutters only curtains that are too small for the window. No a/c ( although I realise not many places have that commodity). No ventilateur. Toilet, shower and tiny hand basin in one piece for 6 persons. Noise from other residents at night. A dog barking most of the night. Woken at 3am by someone with a hammer breaking something wooden. After 3 nights i left . I have slept in many hostels and pensions in Spain and not always brilliant, but Pension Casa Blanca is surely the worst I have ever stayed in, I would highly recommend not to put a foot inside this establishment. nb, not reimbursed !
- Jakob (10/5): Nice litle place - Nice place for a minimakist like me!
- Pat (2/5): - I was unable to check in when I arrived at the property. I phoned the number provided. No answer. I had to find alternative accomodation. I was not contacted by the property until 7 hours after I tried to call them. I have been charged for the stay, but I never stayed there so I would like a refund.
- JOSÉ RAMÓN (6/5): - .
- Mick (8/5): - Quite pricey if you're staying solo but then so is *everywhere* in southern Tenerife. Worth paying extra for a room with a balcony because standard doubles are pretty small. Great location. Very handy for the beach, port and shops. Clean & tidy.
- Claire (6/5): A bit of a rough stay - It was okay for some where to sleep but the room service could of been better and some other customers were Dirtying the toilet and puking every where smoking cannabis and flicking ash all over the sink area and I and my partner was cleaning it to use the toilet which was not out responsibility one toilet didnt flush and i was always asking for towels and letting the cleaners know i was leaving the room so they could come and clean it but they didnt come and clean it.one of showers is freezing cold the other was blocked the water wasnt running down intothe plughole.
- Pavlina (8/5): - Good place in the town. Wifi was not working.
- Dara (8/5): - Cold shower in the morning. Grand otherwise
- Eric (8/5): A reasonable budget accommodation - Good basic cheap pension/hotel.
A little noisy from fellow clientel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cheap and cheerful - We had a great stay at this place. It was cheap and cheerful. Cleaning service was good and we had everything we needed. There's no mini fridge or kettle and very basic amenities however it was all we needed.
Not good for disabled, as there are lots of stairs and no lift access.
It is in the perfect location, three minute walk from the beech and lots of restaurants near by.
There is no air con, so this may be a big problem in the summer time, we stayed in December where it was warm but but hot, so it was the perfect temperature l, with a balcony.
- Geoffrey (6/5): Geoff’s Experience - 7 night stay - Despite sending passport details a few days before and getting email confirmation, no-one was aware of my booking upon arrival. I had to wait outside for 15/20 minutes until the manager arrived and even then, confusion until an agreement of the booking.
Then room not ready which was fair enough and told to leave bags and return in one hour. Upon return my room was ready but no bags in the room as promised. Another ten minutes of stress and hassle before eventually bags were handed over and up the three flight of stairs to the room.
I was on floor 3, a nightmare if you have an issue with climbing very arduous stairs.
The room was clean but very small, however no problem for one person. The included basin, toilet and shower was a God send as I would not be happy with an absolutely tiny room with no toilet/washing facilities, shared facilities down the corridor.
Even though my in room facilities were not in the best working order, the noise in the room from internal and external people was excessive. Even to the point of knowing what everyone were doing in the shared bathroom, yes everything !
However, you pay for what you get and once I got used to it over my 7 day trip, it was fine.
In summary small, many stairs (and no lifts for disabled) clean but facilities either broken or barely manageable, but as mentioned …. You get what you pay for €307 for my 7 nights !
- Tomasz (8/5): - Great location
- michael (8/5): - Cheap n cheerful
- Damien (6/5): - Cheap. But if your after tv air con and more comfort then not for you but the senora at the front desk was nice and helpfull. I ended up in a small room and windows that only looked into other parts of the hotel not to the out side but i guess this is due to the quirky old design it just ment the air flow was still so very hot.
- Joshua (10/5): - Lovely easy place to stay. Staff were very helpful. Good for my budget. Would recommend.
- James (8/5): - Very clean, staff very friendly, even though bathrooms are shared they are kept clean and it feels private. Great value. I stayed in a place that cost me a lot more before arriving at Casa Blanca and the expensive place looked nice on the surface but was in disrepair - glad I saved my money in the end.
- PATRICK (8/5): - 👍
- Verified traveler (4/5): A pain if no keys left - Good location in centre. Rooms are small and up three flights of narrow stairs so not good if you have a lot of luggage. No sink in rooms only in shared bathroom down corridor which again is very small. Most dissapointing was the lack of key on arrival in designated box. Arriving late, we had to contact the owners by phone and wait for them to find spares as the originals had vanished. Not keen on staying anywhere without a reception and staff on site from now on. It's cheap, that,'s the only plus.
