• Timo (10/5): Traumvilla mit Traumausblick ! 10 von 10 ! - Das Personal ist super freundlich ! 12 von 10 ! Man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl und gut aufgehoben. Über die Unterkunft hatten wir nach 5 Minuten bereits unsere Roller bekommen. Zudem kann man jederzeit per Whats App einen Taxiservice oder auch Wäscheservice buchen. Im Großen und Ganzen wird sich um alles gekümmert, damit man einen reibungslosen Urlaub genießen kann. Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier, haben viele Unterkünfte in Thailand bereits gesehen, aber waren direkt wieder begeistert durch die Hilfsbereitschaft und ehrlicher Freundlichkeit des Personals. Ansonsten ist die Aussicht wirklich toll mit Blick direkt auf die Bucht. Die Schlafzimmer sind groß, komfortabel und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Der Pool ist nicht groß aber war für uns vier völlig ausreichend, da wir in der Regel am Strand waren. Der Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Wohnzimmer und Terrasse hat auch alles was man benötigt zum geselligen zusammensitzen. Insgesamt perfekt für zwei Pärchen. Wir waren dieses Jahr in Villa in 1 und letztes Jahr in Villa 2. Sie sind sehr ähnlich aufgebaut und wir können beide Villen und wärmstens empfehlen. Auch die Lage war für uns perfekt. Mit dem Roller circa 5-10 im “Zentrum” am Sairee Beach, 5 Min bis zum nächsten 7/11 und viele von den besten Stränden nur 5 Min entfernt. Die kleineren Hügel sind mit dem Roller auch kein Problem und die Straßen zur Villa sind top. Was zu beachten ist, dass es viele Gekkos gibt und die Fenster und Türen aufgrund des Holzbaustills viele Schlitze haben, allerdings hatten wir die gesamte Woche nicht eine Mücke im Zimmer und die Gekkos haben es sich wenn überhaupt mal im Wohnzimmer gemütlich gemacht … also keine Sorge ! Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder ! Perfekt Unterkunft für Thailand

No había aire acondicionado en el salón, sería la única pega que pondría. Había un ventilador de techo en una zona, que iba bien, pero en la parte de la cocina hacía mucho más calor.

Staff were very helpful whenever we needed anything. Good restaurants within walking distance Not quite enough cookware for 4 people (but maybe most guests don't cook?). Somewhere to dry towels/swim wear would have been useful. Some signs of age/neglect - one of the toilets had a bit of a leak, one of the French doors wouldn't lock.

• Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing view from the villa. It's a drive from the main area but very accessible and cheap by taxi or motorbike. The pool is very warm from the sun all day so it is relaxing in the evening. The villas were cleaned each day.

Excellent staff, especially Sebastian who arranged everything we needed very efficiently. The pillows were very firm - a softer alternative would be a nice addition for side sleepers.
• Agne (1/5): Safety concerns, construction noise and cockroaches - Do not believe the good reviews about this villa. At night someone tried to break in to the house. The intruder was walking around the villa making loud noise as they were trying to break in. I was still awake, so I started yelling and they ran away. The owner did not care at all until I informed booking.com. Even then he downplayed it, telling me it was a squirrel. There’s daily construction noise right next to the villa from 8AM until 5PM. The owners offered to move me from villa 1 to villa 3, but these villas are merely few meters apart. The noise was clearly intentional. The workers started drilling as soon as they saw me on the terrace. When they realized that the noise did not bother me, they continued drilling past 5pm and told me they will do it until 10pm. I had to call the police to make them stop. Staff at the villa is passive aggressive. Lunchtime was the only quiet hour and I wanted to enjoy it, so I thanked the cleaning staff and nicely told them that they could stop working. I repeated the plea multiple times, but instead of leaving, they ignored me and continued going around the villa cleaning even slower than before until I firmly told them to leave. There were big cockroaches in the cupboards.

Spacious, modern villa that includes a lot of smaller things as well that make your stay enjoyable, like two binoculars to enjoy the view. Keep in mind that access to the villa requires walking up the hill from the main road. There's well maintained stairs though. Access to the main town / restuarant / beaches is best done by scooter.

Mama, personnage unique et chaleureuse, est toujours là pour vous servir et faire de votre séjour un pur bonheur... Prévoir un scooter pour se déplacer et un bon conducteur car les routes sont encore en travaux...
• Shawn (10/5): My family really enjoyed our stay at Philips Villa - My family really enjoyed our stay at Philips Villa in August of 2016. I have two young daughters and they never had their own pool before. Needless to say, they were very excited. We enjoyed the view of the bay tremendously. Overall, it was relaxing. For food, we went to the restaurant in the hotel nearby. We also rented a motorcycle and purchased food in town from the local sellers. There is a large fridge in the kitchen and we kept some food there too. The roads were a mess at the time of our stay but we rode our motorcycle carefully and were able to get to and from the Villa with little effort.
