Das Zimmer war groß. Es gab schöne Nischen zum Verweilen und der Pool hatte schon etwas besonderes. Das Bad war ein enger Schlauch. Das hat die Bewegungsfreiheit eingeschränkt. Leider hat das Hotel keinen Lift. Wer einen großen Koffer hat, hat es schwer. Auf die 3.Etage zu kommen. Es wäre wünschenswert, das Frühstück etwas abwechslungsreicher zu gestalten.

• Shmuel (1/5): Stay aeay if you can - The Photos that made me think this hotel is good Their consent to cancel 4 out of 5 night that we had already paid for ( via help from Booking) No additional soap (only one small piece per person pet day), no face towel (“use the hand towel for the face”), not possible to have one more water bottle ( same as the Soap), no mirror near the bed (where Electric socket is) to see yourself when you dry your hair. The hole they call a bath and all this is within the the most expansive room they have. (Deluxe room). We left this „4 star 8.8 rated“ 1 hour after check in.

• ILEKTRA (7/5): Cute place, but more expensive than the comfort that it offers, but that’s a general common thing in high season in Chia - It had a nice traditional Thai decoration It was pretty noisy as the rooms overlook on the main corridor and only have glass windows, so you can hear people passing by from outside. You could also hear a lot of noise from the next door rooms.

• Renee (8/5): A nice base for exploring Chiang Mai - Beautiful authentic feeling hotel, lovely staff and a great location. We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our time at Ban Chang Tong. The staff were always smiling and friendly and greeted us when we arrived back at the hotel. It is not listed but the hotel also offers free parking at the temple accross the road, which was helpful when we hired a car last minute. The location was really central and accessible, although worth mentioning sometimes the road was closed off for some of the walking markets, so you couldn't park at the temple. There were lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel and only a 10 minute walk to the night bazaar. The breakfast was nice and an option of hot food could be cooked fresh for you each morning. The pool was a nice touch too and made for a refreshing dip after a day of walking around the markets. The room was a bit small and the bed was quite hard. Also there was a big step down to the shower and the first time I used it, I slipped and fell, so definitely not for those with poor mobility.

We upgraded our room for a small fee which was well worth it, the room was lovely with high ceilings. Pool was great for a freshen up and staff extremely kind and welcoming. Particularly liked the location, within easy reach of the old town and also other good neighbourhoods to explore night markets, muay thai and bars.

• MAI (6/5): コスパが悪いかな - ナイトマーケットが徒歩圏内で便利な立地でした。部屋の廊下側の壁がカーテンつきの窓になっており、落ちつかないけどユニークな建物です。 ２部屋利用しました。ダブルルームは広く、窓があるものの夜は明かりがたりず暗い。また、どちらの部屋もバスルームの入口が非常に狭く、暗い。シャワーはぬるめです。朝食はシンプルで、ポットでおいてあるコーヒーはインスタントコーヒーでした。水やちょっとした軽食がいつでももらえるホテルが半分の値段であるなか、わざわざ選ぶ必要がないと感じました。写真がきれいだったので期待しすぎました。

• K L A (8/5): It was ok but it didn’t have a warm and friendly feel. Plus, the swimming pool is tiny Cannot really be called a swimmin - The hotel is beautiful and so are the common areas. Breakfast is repetitive and not that extensive. Nice salad, no cheese nor cold meat though, only jam to go with the quite average bread. The staff is professional but very rigid. I asked for 1 hour extra for check out, but they said no. I overheard one of the guests telling them about a bad experience he’d had in a bar (ripped off ). He was very upset and then asked for some water and they said they didn’t have any. The cleaning ladies leave water bottles in the room so the least they could have done was going to get a bottle from the cleaning ladies. Very rigid!

The breakfast is rather simple with almost no variation. The bed is not very comfortable- very hard mattress. Though, all ok for few days.

C’est calme, c’est extrêmement propre, c’est bien situé et de bon goût. Le personnel est adorable. Nous avons eu une petite surprise pour le jour de Noël. Il fait un peu sombre dans les chambres et dans la salle de bain (pas facile pour se maquiller :) ). Mais ce n’est rien. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais très bien (ajouter du lait végétal serait génial). On reviendra car c’est du détail.

• Sara (10/5): I would go back in a heartbeat - They kindly accommodated our early arrival with a very pleasant living room waiting area. They were very helpful with anything we needed and the spaces were clean and comfortable Breakfast was good but could have had a little more variety

• Amanda (10/5): We loved our stay. Location is great and hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was delicious with a good va - Everything! Bed was a little had but sleepable. We asked for two extra pillows and staff were happy to help.
• Sebastian (8/5): Erdgeschoss ok, Obergeschoss toll - Das zweite Zimmer nach dem Wechsel ins erste Obergeschoss war toll. Geräumig, sauber, und mit wundervollem Aufenthaltsbereich vor dem Zimmer. Einfach schön. Zuerst hatten wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Dieses war recht dunkel und roch etwas modrig. Nachdem wir fragten ob es noch ein Zimmer im Obergeschoss bekommen könnten war das Personal super hilfsbereit und hat dies ermöglicht.
• Annemarie (8/5): - Die Lage ist super, sehr zentral. Der Stil des ganzen Hotels ist toll und ansprechend. Unser Zimmer war ohne Fenster. Sehr wenig Abstellfläche. Im Bad hat man keine Steckdose für den Föhn. Aber das sind eigentlich nur Kleinigkeiten. Die positiven Eindrücke überwiegen.

• Julie (9/5): - Wow! Je me suis tout de suite sentie bien dans ce bel environnement. L'architecture est magnifique et c'est très propre. Le personnel est souriant et le déjeuner simple, bon et varié. L'accès aux attractions est facile. Nous étions au dernier étage avec un toit cathédrale. Le lit est assez dur pour ceux qui aiment moins et la douche pourrait ne pas convenir aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Je recommande et j'y retournerais sans hésiter.
