We had to asked to change the bedsheet coz it had stain, we had to call for toilet tissues coz no back and the quality was not good very thin, servers from breakfast were slow even if theres more staffs and we had to asked a server to changed the knives and cups from a used table. Need to improve training especially regarding sanitation and cross contamination. Ac from our room was noisy like rain dtops to a tin roof. Bathroom not pleasant odor and with some mold on the caulking. It was an okay stay. Hope theyll improve.

While I understand each property has its own policy, this is a nickel and dime approach to customers. It’s very low standard for a new I recently stayed at your hotel from [dates of stay] with my family, and overall, we enjoyed our visit. The staff were courteous, the facilities were clean, and the location was very convenient. However, I would like to share feedback regarding the breakfast pricing policy. Verified traveler (6/5): Photos are Misleading - Be careful which Royce you book, as the photos can be misleading. We ended up at the old hotel which was falling into disrepair. The rooms aren't nearly as nice as the pictures display. That being said, the staff was very nice and the beds were very comfy. The real asset of the hotel though is the breakfast buffet. It's arguably one of the nicest in the area that comes with a great selection.

Peter (6/5): Bad service - Not happy with our stay in this hotel. The staff at the checkout counter was very rude. She made us wait for nothing when we were checking out. She told us to wait for a few minutes then entertain another couple who were also checking out. We waited for a few minutes then approached her if we are good to go and she said yes. Don’t understand why she made us wait for nothing but entertained another couple.

I was impressed how our room was comparable to some US hotels. Also, parking was free & easy. Was not able to try the Casino & pool. Breakfast buffet was good.

ADAM (6/5): - This review is for the Royce Hotel & Casino "older" tower. There is a newer tower of the hotel that is parallel to the old hotel. At the time of booking, I did not know that I had booked a room at the older tower. The room was outdated, but clean enough if you're looking for a quick stay & aren't expecting the Four Seasons or say even a Marriott. We only stayed for one evening and it did the job. We had a terrible check-in experience, there were two female agents at the front desk. The one agent made up for it though with her customer service skills, the other one who greeted us upon check - in was rude and had a connotated notion. She made a comment and said " FOR TWO BEDS?" We're an interracial couple, why in the world would we need two beds when our reservation specifically was booked for ONE. After we told her no and to look at our reservation she did not speak after that, the other agent took over and completed our check-in. The location is convenient food wise, there are restaurants across the street, or you can also dine at the hotel or request for room service. It is also near Clark Intl. Airport, it was a 15-20 min ride. If you require transportation to the hotel, you can reach out to them ahead of time (upon booking) & let them know. We checked out the casino for fun. There were slot machines and tables ( at least what we saw). Overall, I would rate the hotel a 3.9/5. For the price that we paid for a room, I had higher expectations, not a motel like room.

They were gracious to move us to a cleaner rm.For sure all rooms have it.

They called engineering (maintenance) and they cannot fixed it completely. Their solution they gave me extra towels to wipe outside when the water pours out. I was not aware that there was an old and new building but regardless it should be cleaned properly. If I knew that was the condition of the place I should have just stayed at my own house. It was grossed, especially they called themselves the #1 hotel in the area.

You should try their coffee and cheese cake at the Lounge. The blueberry cheesecake is the best I’ve tasted so far in the Philippines. I’m not exaggerating. I’ll check in this hotel again if only for the blueberry cheesecake. Still not exaggerating.

As rated 4-star hotel in Clark, the IT personnel should service their internet protocol in all rooms after it is vacated insuring full service as noted in your check in. Not a good thing to all travelers to know about your poor internet services.

Hotel had a swimming pool but I didn’t get to use it. Breakfast Buffet was superb! The Korean restaurant at the second floor of the casino also good. Had much fun listening to the band In the casino- no cover charge- just pay for your drink; I felt very welcome to just stay and enjoy! Nice surprise!

Since we didn't know about the security deposit they were not prepared. Her son dropped her off and had the money for the security deposit, otherwise she would have had problems. elaysamaried2024 (2/5): THE WORST HOTEL IN CLARK - Most of the staff are UNPROFESSIONAL!! they let me wait at the lobby for more than 1 hour. they can’t give me proper update about what happened to my things in the LOST AND FOUND!!! they said that it will only take 20 to 30 minutes… I would not recommend this hotel! You guys should go to Hann Casino. Mariott and Swissotel is more hospitable and MORE CONSIDERATE. FYI I am pregnant and ROYCE HOTEL LET ME WAIT IN THE LOBBY!!! NO ONE CAME AND ASSISTED ME!!!!

We attended the MICECon, it was a great experience and added to that is an excellent service from Royce people, from guards to FO to bellman and even to restaurant staffs. Our stay for 3days was really commendable- our room is very homey, the ambience that you can feel clean and really safe, the uniquely satisfying service from FO- Kudos to John for making our stay exceptional, he provided all of our request and needs, everytime we will call the fo, he’s the one answering the phone and he’s the one who checked us in and ensured that we will get the best room. He’s a good communicator ensuring thag guest will really be satisfied and he knows how to connect with them. Not the usual FO person who is just answering guest concerns directly, but with him, he is making a connection with the hotel guests to ensure that they will feel welcome- a true Filipino Brand of Service Excellence ambassador. The way he greeted us with “Mabuhay”, very energetic and lively. Good thing we saw him the last time even after we checked out and after our lunch at 21 resto. We personally thanked him for his good service- a true gem of every hotel. Another observation from the hotel, most of the employees are young people and pleasant looking that brings added value experience to guests.

artmarcelino (8/5): Great one night stay at the Royce Hotel. - I stayed at the Royce hotel & Casino for one night April 20, 2024. We were assigned room 601 which was in the Deluxe part of the hotel which is the older of the two buildings. As the other building was newer & was called the Premium building. I found the rooms rather spacious & clean with a large bathroom with great water pressure. I did find the king size bed rather firm so, that could be a problem for those who prefer a softer mattress. I was able to have dinner at their all you can eat restaurant on the 4th floor called 21 & found the food there rather delicious. As there were 4 of us dining the bill came to $190 CAD or $47/pp. Seems high for the Philippines but there were so many food options. My girlfriend & I were also able to have breakfast in the morning it was included in the booking & it was delicious. I'd definitely stay at the Royce again & maybe try the Premium building next time.

Smelly hotel room - This place is a dump - avoid it at all cost I booked a room for 150USD expecting to get the new Hotel and instead got the old one. The room smelled of piss - I am guessing its mostly drunk gamblers that stay there I checked out at 11pm and drove back to Manila - thats how bad it was

whysorekkles (10/5): Highly recommend for first timers inside Clark - The hotel took casino and entertainment seriously. Amazing place to get you off your seat. The 2 floor casino is a world class with their courteous staffs. Rooms are also top notch, breakfast needs to improve as the buffet seems a little off. Overall, I would recommend this for first timers as it also sits perfectly in the best spot inside Clark's Airbase.
