Guest Reviews
- Dennis Lascano (8/5): - The hotel is located at the back of The Mansion. It is also close to Minesview Park. They have a parking , restaurant, garden. They are pet friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The staff are welcoming and hospitable. The best thing with this hotel is its location. If you want to experience Baguio in its original prestine atmosphere, this hotel is a good choice. Pine trees still abound in this area. I will definitely choose this hotel again in my next visit to Baguio.
- Patrick (10/5): - Very nice property. Only negative was the food at the restaurant.
- Amor (10/5): - Great hotel
- Kevin (8/5): - Clean and staff are friendly
- Olivia (4/5): - the rooms beds were moist from the moisture of air so it causes the bedding’s to almost feel wet. in addition there are definitely bed bugs. my guests and i all woke up from bed bug bites after our stay which is unfortunate. otherwise the stay was fine but if you’re okay with bed bugs this is a decent hotel.
- Roderick (10/5): - It was very clean, neat and beautiful. The staff were exceptional. However, I wish there was a more convenient way of getting coffee first thing every morning.
- Arthur (8/5): - Love the property and staff , food and service were great. But there is a huge noisy project just across the street. Assume new condo's or resort
- Delima (10/5): - Good service and amenities. Also good dining options. Location is also quiet and perfect for a relaxing view.
- Johanna (10/5): - Staff are great and polite. Generous in toiletries and bar stocks. Buffet breakfast is delicious as well.
- Shane (6/5): - Good food selection on the breakfast buffet but the room we stayed in had dark lighting and carpet needs to be replaced with wood flooring. Can hear other guest talking from other rooms.
- OFELIA (10/5): - Staff are amazing
Buffet is sufficient
Overall 9 percent good
- Salvatore (10/5): - The staff were great. Property was really clean and food was good.
- Edmund (8/5): - There’s a construction across the street and they should work during the day instead at night where we couldn’t sleep well because of the noise but overall the hotel itself is newer than the rest in the area and breakfast is different daily.
- PAUL ANDREW S (8/5): Feels like Baguio here - This hotel is unlike most hotels in Baguio. It is beatifully situated on a mostly quiet hill road. Unfortunately, there is an ongoing construction site in front but overall, the noise was tolerable.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet included was superb.
Some low points were a broken exhaust fan on our original room (they moved us to a bigger room) and a stain on one of the bedsheets (they replaced it immediately)
Overall, wonderful hotel
- marie cielo (8/5): Nice but very late check in - We just stay for overnight since it was fully booked the next day. The service was quite nice and the food was okay however, the check was so late at 4:30 pm. This was the first time that I experience that the check in time was so late
- marie antoinette (6/5): Could be improved - First time to stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, you are greeted by courteous and helpful guards at the basement parking. Check in was a breeze, front desk staff was quick and efficient. Hotel location was excellent and was near parks and great restos. Room was big and had a huge balcony eith a great forest view.
However, bathroom needs to be improved. There was a constant leak on our bathroom floor that looked like it came from the bidet. Bathroom tiles also need some good scrubbing.
- Kristine (10/5): - Family friendly! Clean and the best staff!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very generous with toiletries but may have overlooked to provide extra bathroom tissue so we had to call to request for a refill.
But overall, we love the place. Very clean and with friendly staff.
- Eugene (10/5): - Everything is perfect! From our room, the garden, the breakfast.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location, poor front desk experience. - Poor front desk experience. Steak was so hard it damaged the filling on my tooth.
Great Location walkable to tourist sites.
Good new year set up.
- Marc (8/5): - Very good value for money. Pine trees all around. Lots of open spaces. Breakfast buffet should include bacon and pancakes.
- Allan Michael (8/5): - Room was ok. But breakfast food could be better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is conveniently located. Our stay is very relaxed and enjoyable. They serve nice breakfast, whatever is fresh in Baguio. Staff are friendly and helpful. We’ll be back😊.
- Christian (10/5): - Great views of nature, good placement away but near enough to city activity for convenient travel.
- Maria Katrina (8/5): Improve your internet connection - My whole stay is ok except that they have no better internet connection and heater in the room.
- Hilda (8/5): - Cozy and homey. Food was excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - all nice..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Aircon problem stress us up! - The place & ambiance is good, food is great, cleanliness and the place is superb! Nothing to complain except for the 2 aircons broken. 2 2 nights of no cold aircon its broken! But they did transfer us to a better and colder room after we get mad and complain. The off part is instead of offering us 4 fans so we will feel comfortable and cold they should have told us they will transfer us right away....if i didn’t complain and get mad with them they wont transfer us. Staff should be trained well in case these things happened again. Offer your guest the best you can give cause guest paid for their stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice to relax!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is very nice. Clean and would come back again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I can compare it to a five-star hotel! Surely we are going to check-in to this hotel the next time we visit Baguio. Everything was superb!
- Francis (10/5): Excellent service! - It would be best if towels and robes are soft.
- Micay (10/5): - Good food, good staff, good hotel!👏👏👏
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff was great and the buffet was great would stay here again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel fun there enjoying things to see and do.allways staff on hand ,food was fantastic.
- Larry (8/5): - Staffs are very nice and accommodating. They made me feel very comfortable even at the very start. Nice view as well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel, quiet location. Cant wait to go back again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Promising! - The hotel is promising. Their service is superb. Soooo kind staff. We will stay again soon.
- Cristina (8/5): - Great experience..hot breakfast could have been served hotter...had an issue with the room and hotel resolved it quickly!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We stayed 3 nights, the service was great and friendly staff. Food was very good and the breakfast buffet had a nice mix of local and internation selection. Would stay again for sure
- tommy (10/5): - Very happy with my choice. I’ve been to several other hotels in the area but nothing beats the service and cleanliness.
- Tommy (10/5): - Wonderful staff, very helpful. Very impress with housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Maritoni (10/5): Awesome stay! - Total customer experience!
- Aida (8/5): Nice stay - Staff were helpful. They assisted us with most of our inquiries and immediate help.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Great amenities, customer service and food. The hotel is simply beautiful
- Efren (8/5): Perfect place to relax. - Nice hotel to stay with good location to relax with comfort and a quite place. I is really happy and hoping to be back again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): QUIET FOR BAGIO - NICE 2 DAY STAY FOR FIRST TIME. MOST OF THE WAITERS AND WAITRESS SMART AND ATTENTIVE. OTHERS LIKE COWS SAYING MOO WITH NO UNDERSTANDING. THEY SHOULD BETTER VET THEIR STAFF AND TRAIN THEM!
- John and Barb (8/5): Nice hotel with 3 exceptions - Exceptions were poor WiFi connection and walls between rooms are not sound dampening. Otherwise, great staff who were very helpful and accommodating. Room size was good with a queen bed, love seat and chair. Hotel was clean! Breakfast buffet was very good and the restaurant’s Filipino food was excellent. There was also a bakery next to the restaurant which looked great. We did not try the food but bought some of the banana bread and Ube bread to give away.
- Gigi (10/5): Entertaining and comfortable. Good food. - Our room is clean and spacious and the food is good and priced just right.
- Verified traveler (8/5): New and Clean Hotel - Staff was accommodating. Delighted with breakfast food as it covered the basic and some add ons like fresh strawberry, bagoong, congee.
I would advise management to refrain guests from singing loudly (with guitars) inside their rooms and to stop children from running along the corridors after 9PM as it really disturbs other guests who are sleeping.
Upon check out, staff reminded me to check if I left anything behind. I replied yes and only found out that I left my tupperware in the ref when I arrived home. My fault.
- Heinrich (10/5): Great hotel!! Awesome location. - We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Awesome friendly staff. Very nice room with balcony and Garden View. Hotel is surrounded by many pine trees and it was very quiet. Breakfast was really good. We are right now staying at the Fort Ilocandia hotel in Laoag but I have to say that the Sierra Pines Hotel in Baguio is much, much better. If you are looking for an affordable nice place to stay with good food in Baguio please book the Sierra. Thank you very much to all the staff members.
- John (4/5): disapointed - Diaspointed with the hotel. Profit Profit Profit
Reasons as follows..
check in time 4 p m.... Hotel get the same money if I check in at 2 p m or 4 p m... 99% of all hotels have 2 p m checking.. Profit Profit Profit....
breakfast buffet equal to a P250 buffet at Cabalen.. Profit Profit Profit
a glass of red wine at the bar P150.. the amount of wine was barely covering the bottom of the glass.. about 5 sips... and it was a very cheap imported cabernet from Chile.. Profit profit Profit
charge for a 13 year old extra person in room.. P1500... Profit Profit Profit
Coffee at breakfast was horrible...Stale and weak....Latte at breakfast was an extra charge.. Profit Profit Profit
- judd (8/5): - It was a comfortable stay. Nice and spacious room. Good ambiance. Food at breakfast should have more variety. Our room a has a good and serene orientation as the balcony is facing some pine trees. However, voices of other occupants at the adjacent room can be heard. Bathroom is generally clean but space is a little small. Water pressure is not that strong.
Hotel is near tourist spots like Mines View, Mansion House , Good Sheperd and a few minutes to Camp John Hay and Baguio Country Club
- Eloisa (8/5): - Perfect location amidst the pine trees. Quiet and relaxing. Hotel design is classy. Service staff are nice and courteous.
The only downside is when there is an event in the main atrium as the sounds drift up the rooms.
- tet (2/5): Very calculative - we are dissapointed with this hotel they charge everything!Extra blanket, extra towel or maybe even extra toiletries! When we checked in around 3pm which is considered late check in already, there was no towels in the bath, when we requested for it they told us it will be available by 6pm, because they were still drying it!OMG!!!even transient have towels ready upon check in.they apologizes because they have high occupancy which is not acceptable for me, they should have prepared for it.Then,My son threw up and we requested change of beddings and housekeeping came without bringing linens they wanted to check first?just imagine that siuation when someone threw up then no towel to use and can’t even change the beddings right away and you want to take a shower but needed to wait.we travelled hours and wanted to relax but it’s the other way around!I got stressed! Not value for money for this hotel!
- MDJ (10/5): - great place to chill and unwind. food quality is really good. additional amenities would be appreciated.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome! - Amazing!
- jimmy (10/5): we'll be back! - We had a wonderful stay! Friendly staff, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, great location with lots of parking!
- Delbert (4/5): - I am disappointed during my stay! The bath towels are old yellowish and dark . I requested for another towel and they are charging me! The chiller is not cold I requested for ice and they are charging me 20 pesos what kind of hotel is this? Breakfast is always the same !!!!
- Chino (4/5): Lots of Room for Improvement - The hotel architecture is modern and great. The staff were very courteous and well-mannered. Room was clean and well serviced. We were greeted with warmth and bellboy and security assisted with parking. However, the buffet breakfast during the weekdays was below average. It was only during Sunday that breakfast had more to offer with some palatable taste to it. The dogs at the nearby compound were noisy and bothered our sleep.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Average Hotel - Our stay with this hotel is generally fine, location is good, served breakfast is average, rooms are well appointed. However, one thing that disappoints us was the toiletries that was given, specifically the towels, firstly, it was incomplete, hand towel when we check-inn, when we asked the quality that was given is comparable to a rug, worn out, almost black in color. we stayed 2 nights and we experienced it both days.
- FQM3 (8/5): Reminds Me of The Baguio Sceneries I Grew Up With - Relaxing, peaceful, quiet location surrounded by pine trees. This is the Baguio I remember growing up in the 70s. Got the Deluxe room with a single queen size bed. Room had a love seat as well and still spacious. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. It also had a balcony so it is convenient for smokers. Bathroom amenities are A-Ok. There is a small ref in the room with mini-bar items. We used it to cool stuff we bought. Hotel lobby is very refreshing as it opens up to the terrace where you can enjoy your meal. A Koi pond also added a nice touch to the place.
- eugene (10/5): Clean and hospitable staff. Near to restaurants. - Stayed 4days 3nights. Nice modern building design, clean, hospitable staff, good buffet breakfast, ample parking, awesome bonfire place. Outlook steak & grill restaurant is great. Perfect experience for me, and the family. Will definitely book into this place again in my next baguio visit. Cheers!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Best Hotel in Baguio Today - We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay with Grand Sierra Pines! This is easily the best hotel in Baguio today, where you get value for your money and lots of smiles and dedicated service from the staff. They go all out on their breakfast buffet, unlike most of the so-called luxury and overpriced hotels in Camp John Hay. I just hope that they will improve their WiFi and their water heater.
- Bernadette (8/5): Nice modern hotel away from Baguio traffic - My family and I just came back from a wonderful stay at the Grand Sierra Pines hotel. Appreciated that they offered quarters for drivers with a full breakfast buffet too. Staff were helpful though obviously still struggling to cope with the full booking that 3-day weekend. Wish they would provide shower caps among the toiletries though. On the overall a really pleasant stay-- look forward to our next visit!
- JV (10/5): Quiet and relaxing - Stayed here with family in one of the family units; we were 3 on the second floor and three on the first. Both floors had a terrace with a view of the forest. Very nice and relaxing. The only challenge was we had to share one bathroom so bear that in mind if you book this room. Otherwise, the buffet breakfast was generous (altho' the cook seemed to be a newbie with preparing omelettes; the guests had to wait a long time or eventually canceled their orders). There is a small inhouse bakeshop/ souvenir shop where you could fet raisin bread, Good Shepherd ube, peanut brittle and other Baguio goodies.
- Michael (10/5): - It was nice. Staff were very accommodating
- Verified traveler (10/5): Getaway hotel - I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It's new but somehow it's very cozy. You feel nestled in the woods somehow and it has an ambience of a ski resort that makes you feel instantly relaxed I was too busy exploring so many places in Baguio that I didn't really get to enjoy the hotel itself and the area around it, such a a shame. I like that the rooms had balconies and you feel like you can almost touch the trees. The breakfast had a good variety of viand, I just wish that they would showcase more the best produce in Baguio which are the fruits and vegetables. The staff were great and very accommodating, they even helped us out when our rental had a flat and they managed to finish in record time. This is a nice getaway hotel, it should really be savored. I would go back to Baguio just so I can stay at this hotel again and enjoy it to the fullest.
- Vladimir (8/5): OK - Overall pretty good. Negatives include - seriously expensive, if I had to go to Baguio again would have picked a cheaper hotel, this one wasn't worth the money. Pictures are deceiving - there is no forest at the property. Finally the sauna is not free for customers.
- momif4boys (8/5): - Beautiful new hotel. Great location! Would recommend for sure!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Stayed one night. A nice experience, but had pluses and minuses.
+ New/fresh look
+ Friendly and helpful stay
+ Good location
+ Decent breakfast
+ Valet parking
+ Excellent Spa service
- Terrible wifi. Was unusable.
- It was raining, so we got soaked going to the Spa/Fitness centre.
- The walls in the rooms are thin - we could hear the conversation in the next room.
- No hairbrush/comb in the complementary packs
- Joseph (10/5): Almost honeymoon pristine trip - This was the first trip my girlfriend and I have gone on and we had a wonderful stay. Between the beauty of the room and the helpfull staff at the buffet and the garage attendants, it almost felt like the three days we spent there was our honeymoon.
Who knows, maybe the next time we are here, it will be.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel Near Eveything - Over all, excellent hotel, most especially the friendliness of the staff, all of the staff, from check in to check out, from the food buffet up to the hymn.
- Kathy (10/5): Great staff - Staff were very receptive and amazingly courteous to my mom
- Ming hey (10/5): great location, great food to enjoy - it was an amazing stay, we enjoy our stay with sierra phines, walking distance to mines view, 15minutes away from sm city baguio, a convenient location, close to everything, the breakfast is great, will definely stay here again if we came back to baguio
- Haydee (8/5): Nice place to stay in Baguio - We had a nice time staying at Sierra Pines. The staff are helpful and friendly. They serve delicious and a good variety of breakfast. The rooms are clean and our needs were met. However on a small note, while there was a parking assistant, he was not much of help and we had a very minor accident scratching our car while leaving the garage. Although it wasn't his fault, a little assistance would have been great. Otherwise everything was okay.
- Docdennis (10/5): Relaxing - My recent visit to Baguio was fun, relaxing and memorable. Parking was very accessible and your car feels safe because of the presence of security in the area. Very accessible to the lobby and your room because the elevator in the basement parking. Nice location. Not crowded neighborhood. Aircon in the room working well despite the cool breeze we manage to use it.
