- Angela (6/5): - We liked hotel location, however the 1st night we had a view over the back /trash area. Noisy early morning + bathroom functionality/shower was bad. 2nd night we asked to be moved so we had a view of the street with a balcony. Bathroom was better as well. Over all, 2nd night was better, however the inconvenience of packing and morning to a different room was not addressed by the staff. We would have liked for them to offer asap another room when we addressed the circumstances or better yet for them to consider we came a long way from California, so they could have given us one of their new renovated rooms. So, yes it was an inconvenience from the start that was not addressed or compensate for. Unfortunately! This was our 2nd time starting at hotel Sinaia, however we may consider other options next visit to Romania. Thank you.

- James (6/5): - Couldn’t turn off the radiators in the room and daytime temperatures were 20 degrees Celsius or more. A tiny safe for which there was no key. We only got a key when we changed rooms.
- Florin (8/5): - Carpet in the room was old, damaged and dirty, and so was part of the furniture. Bathroom not properly cleaned, disgusting blood stains on the walls and the bathtub curtain. Halls and amenities were pretty modern and clean. Breakfast was a rich, multi-option continental, restaurant spacious and accommodating.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good hotel in centre of Sinaia - The hotel looks very nice, breakfast really, really good, staff very polite and helpful, our family room was as new, so really enjoyed our stay. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the water in the hotel pool and its nearby jacuzzi was cloudy, nowhere near clear. It wasnt inviting and we didnt spend much time in it, so that was a let down especially as after 6pm you pay 20 RON per person to go into the spa area.

- Clive (4/5): - Not a 4* experience by a long way. This was a over-busy, jam-packed, overpriced resort hotel. The spa was too busy to be relaxing, and I never got near to the crowded pool even though booked. Warning - car parking was lamemtable. They do not manage the parking at all, allowing it to block and double park and then manage the crisis that follows. If you are catching a plane, give yourself an hour or two extra. Staff came over as disinterested, I can hardly blame them, the place is a human conveyor-belt. Good shower, but housekeeping was very poor and amateurish. We got professional but slightly begrudging reception service. (Why? There might be thousands of us churning through but we all paid you good money!). A doorman and the car park men did help us well (thank you again) but that's not a replacement for proper parking management. Lobby bar has the atmosphere of a empty factory. Of their restaurants, only Sina was worth visting. Good wine, but average Romanian food (mostly we had better elsewhere). No, we will never go back - looks like there are plenty lovely independent pensions nearby in beautiful old houses. The region and mountains were fantastic!

- RADU (10/5): Very happy but some annoying problems - The dining and conference facilities are absolutely impeccable. Staff are efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and everything is highly convenient. The drain of the bathroom sink let in some unwanted smells, the mattress was comfortable but lumpy. Overall quite pleased. Borderline worth the asking price and would certainly stay again.

- Stephanie (4/5): - The only nice thing about this hotel is the location, ac, and the lobby. The hotel rooms themselves are outdated and could use a deep cleaning. Thank goodness for shower shoes! We stayed in the 1st floor and the noisy level was terrible. Kids running around screaming and staff taking in the hallway. If you’re here for more than a night, look elsewhere for comfort and cleanliness.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Loud, Disappointing stay - If you don’t like noise this is not the place to stay! The property is huge & there were hundreds of people, it gets very noisy in the hallways. More importantly the STAFF (house cleaners) every morning at 8am would be outside my door screaming and laughing with each other. Also slamming the doors VERY loud. Highly upsetting. The opposite of relaxing. Don’t take a room on 1st floor if you don’t want to be woken up very early by noisy, loud housemaids. The breakfast was good. The spa was mediocre. I got a deep tissue massage that was not very good despite the receptionist claiming the man was “their best”. He also spoke no English, so I couldn’t communicate with him at all - not good when you’re receiving body work. This place has a lot of improvements to make with their staff.

- Melvin (8/5): Average hotel in a great location - I liked the location of this hotel. Close to everything including Peles castle and the train station. The staff I thought was useless. The staff at the counter were not friendly nor helpful. The breakfast was average with the worst coffee I had ever had. In the room they really need to fix the toilet paper dispenser awful design. The pool you need to reserve a time. We were able to reserve a time for the next day,but it was old and needed an update. We used the pool gor maybe 20min.

- Julie (6/5): - We stayed in a refurbished room and it was lovely. Nice big shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and there were plenty of options. It does get very crowded and worth getting there early. I didn’t like that you have to go into spa to make a time to go swimming, I don’t like having to plan my day to that extent. Lastly don’t let them give you room 108A, and I’m sure the same room on the other levels, it is at the end of corridor next to cleaners room with service elevator. It literally juts into room and makes room very small. When I went down to complain they swapped it very quickly with no argument!
- Chris (6/5): - The location in Sinaia is ideal and the spa is great, but overall not quite a 4 star hotel. Rooms were small but clean - mine had a nice view. Clothes irons were available but no ironing boards (not ideal when you need to iron clothes for a wedding!). Breakfast was below average for a 4 star
- Stephen (8/5): Great location, nice hotel but with flaws - The hotel is in a fabulous location. The reception / bar / restaurant area is nice and pleasant enough. I didn't enjoy the breakfast, and I'm not normally a fussy person. We booked a suite and our room was amazing. Very old fashioned furniture, huge, lovely balcony, lots of storage. BUT, the bed was uncomfortable and noisy at the smallest of movements. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was powerful. No fan though so smelt a little musky at times. The housekeeping was hit and miss. We were there for four nights and never had our bed changed. We had fresh towels every day but the room wasn't cleaned. Sinaia is a wonderful place and I'm glad I went. If I ever went back, I'm not convinced I'd stay here again.

- Rebecca (10/5): Newly refurbished hotel; great spa! - Fantastic spa hotel! The spa has adult only times, which is great for those who like a quiet spa. The breakfast is a must - possibly one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had including hot options, sweet and savoury options etc Our only negative was that the spa did not permit entry for guests on the day of check out (after 12 noon) - our experience in all other spa hotels has been that we normally would be able to use the spa on the day of check out, even after the check out time. I would love to see this changed or at least made clear to guests on check in.

- Bruce (8/5): Nice hotel in the renovated sections - Some of the hotel is nicely renovated and very comfortable and well done. Unfortunately, our first night we arrived late afternoon and we were in an old dated room with a possessed shower head. The next morning they were able to move us to one of the nicely renovated rooms. Breakfast is a mob scene, best to arrive early. Overall, breaksfast selection was broad.
- Adrian (8/5): Stay at Hotel Sinaia - Excellent stay, clean and refurbished rooms. Breakfast overly generous with an incredible variety of foods. Only downside was paid parking. Also the free bottle of wine isn’t quite free as you must eat at the restaurant to get your “free” bottle. I’d like to see this bottle in the room upon arrival. Other than that, no complaints! I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

- Viktoria (8/5): - Big renovated hotel just in the center of Sinaia. Very convenient and central location close to the park, ice skating, mini mall, 2 supermarkets, restaurants. Lots of food options, convenient even when it's raining and cold outside. Very good spa, don't forget to make a reservation (no charge). Very nice design in the hotel, spacious and modern atmosphere. Good elevators, never waited for more than a minute. Good and friendly service at the reception area, restaurants, and spa. Not all the rooms have balconies! If you need one, make sure you order the right kind of room. On the downsize, we were looking for more available tourists oriented printed information which was missing - regarding the surroundings, and sights to see and places to go.
- Tomasz (6/5): - Nice renovated lobby/reception and restaurant, but those don't make that hotel 4 star. I would give it not more than 2.5 or 3. We tried to order something in one of the restarurats in late evening but still withing opening hours and some guys sitting inside and couting cash on the table told us briefly "no, closed". Same with the bar - we were refused to buy a beer after 23:00. Spa - you can't get a shower in men's room because it's totally broken and has no water. Room - I booked standard, but rather received budget one. Decent breakfast.

- Alisha (8/5): All that glitter not gold (sadly) - First impressions of the hotel were intially great. The hotel's location, the beautiful reception, the extensive spread and beautiful breakfast area, the spa facilities are all very impressive indeed. I highly recommend using the spa and breakfast here. However, the check in took a long time due to lack of staff and service was super slow. My bedroom on 8th floor was very stuffy, so I had to open the window but it was super loud/noisy with partying crowds and drunken guests. You find bathrobes and slippers to use for the spa which is good. However, my bathroom was disgusting, the sink marble unit was broken and dangerously close to collapsing. The bathtub was unclean and these tough staines (peeling enamel?) with mouldy tiles and dirty cracks and sink. The water didn't heat up so I had an icy shower unfortunately which is painful. I called the reception and no one answered (short staffed?). it's a shame because they have all the complimentary kits (vanity, sewing, robes etc) yet made no effort to tend to the problems which need fixing. Overall, nice staff but overworked, under resourced and the room was rundown, shabby lacking general hygiene. Location, breakfast and spa are the top highlights.

- Rachel (2/5): Do not stay - waste of money - Having paid ~€130 for one night stay the cleanliness and quality of the room was shocking! The bathroom looked so terrible that we didn't bother showering it was so disgusting. Stains on the bedroom carpet and dirt on the bedside cupboards. Just miserable for the money spent. I think they have spent all of their money on the reception area and given up elsewhere. The hallway carpets were dirty too and carpet on the stairway had been patched with completely different carpet - maybe they didn't think anyone would notice! Do not stay here unless you like wasting money!

- Max (10/5): - This is a big hotel so has more facilities than others eg restaurants and sauna etc. Breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality. My room was a refurbished one and it was well laid out and comfortable.

Breakfast is very poor quality: margarine instead of butter, Sugary powder drinks instead of fresh juices, tasteless coked food. This extends to the two restaurants. Dry meat, horrible salads, poor guality ingredients.

- Sally (10/5): Great Place to stay in Sinaia - Modern hotel located in the centre of Sinaia. The staff are both helpful and friendly. Our room was well maintained and comfortable with a nice view of the mountains. The buffet breakfast had a very good selection of both hot and cold choices all of a good standard. - Adrian (8/5): Great Hotel !! - Excellent hotel. Centrally located and great traditional restaurant. The only negative was the room facing the parking lot at the rear of the hotel, however this was a minor issue. Otherwise we would highly recommend this hotel.
- Adrian (4/5): Very disappointing - The hotel is under renovation and still reciving giests. They still wanted money for parking even though the car was full of dust from the renovation. The elevator for disabled is not working very well. The restaurant where the breakfast was, had broken and old furniture, and it was dirty. The food was good. There was noise in the morning from the construction.

- Josepg (4/5): Loud music and outdated rooms - Rooms are very outdated and bare, look nothing like the modern lobby and hotel restaurant that caught my eye. I would only consider this hotel if you can get a high floor - on the first floor you could hear every word of the music playing in the restaurant below until midnight (Saturday) and very loud base. Price was crazy expensive for Romania and compared to the quality of the room. They advertise the spa but it was booked both days of our stay. The breakfast buffet was chaotic, self administered and not socially distanced, but the majority of guests (and all staff) wore masks. That said, the staff was kind and accommodated early check in and 1pm late check out, normally noon.
- Bogdan (10/5): Beautiful Sinaia - The hotel is very elegant, very clean, beds and carpet in the room very comfortable, staff very friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel is situated in the middle of Sinaia, just near the Central Park,so walking distance to everywhere,we used the pool and the hot tub, breakfast that will satisfy everybody. Sinaia is such a beautiful place, must visit Peles Castle, must go to 2000 m with the cable car.

- Eduard (4/5): - This was my second stay at the facility - nevertheless just as the first one. The receptionist said we received an “upgrade” to my room however the room was standard, without a balcony or a SMART TV. The floors were stained and the bathrobes were old and with holes in them. The breakfast was below average with dirty tables and zero customer service.

However, the Hotel Rina was offering extended and tasteful breakfast which is very rare case in Romania. Hotel Room was quite good, bath room was clean. Staff was very helpful. Only minus was Sauna and Spa facility was extra cost even for Hotel guest, even though it was quite affordable price.

- Andrew (8/5): Good hotel for a night in Sinaia - Overall, the stay was good. There is free parking next door, which is nice. The room was fairly basic, but it worked for our night there. Location wise, it is right in the main part of Sinaia, so that is good. There is definitely some wear and tear on the place, it is an holder hotel, but no real issues there. It was comfortable, the pool was decent. I would stay here again. Our biggest issue is the checkout process. Check out time is noon. If you go down to checkout at any time around there, there is a massive amount of people all trying to check out. The process is slow. It took us 30 minutes before we just walked up to the front and told them that our reservation was prepaid, here are our keys, we are leaving, and walking out. It seemed like everyone was having to pay, and do other things as well, that it was taking forever. And this was with 4 people working the counter. No idea what that issue was about - check out should be simple.
