• Brigitte (8/5): Super locatie en kraaknet! - De locatie was ideaal,op wandelafstand vd dagelijkse foodmarket,op 10 min wandelen vd rivier en de prachtige skywalk,vlakbij het treinstation en ook op wandelafstand van het centrale busstation.heel moderne superschone kamers op 10min.met de tuktuk naar de brug vd river kwai Eigenlijk niets,misschien 1 kleine minpuntje,een boordje tussen de douche en het toilet zou ideaal zijn om het water tegen te houden zodat het water vd douche niet in de toiletruimte loopt voor de rest...alles top!

• SULLYMAN (10/5): A very comfortable place to stay near the bus terminal and night food market. - This is the perfect guesthouse when arriving by night bus. It's only a 8-10 minute walk from the terminal. Early luggage drop was possible, and in my case, a couple of hours earlier on check-in was very appreciated. The staff are extremely friendly, and the room with the large bed was excellent. There's daily room cleaning if needed, with a resupply of 2 water bottles which is a nice bonus. The super confortable bed and pillows were the best I've had in 1 month of staying all over Thailand. There's a great shower, wifi, a mini fridge and on site laundry service by the staff was only 50 baht. Self-serve morning coffee, tea and toast was available. I had the free use of a bicycle for my 4 day stay, but they also rent gas scooters. They also have a nice lighted outdoor chill zone with a moving fan which is great for having a coffee or evening beer. Every night there is a huge night food market within only a few minutes walk back towards the terminal. Three 7-elevens are also close by. It's a 20 minute walk to the downtown bar area. An excellent guesthouse in my opinion.

• gisele (10/5): - Bien placé dans la rue principale où passent des bus qui peuvent faire au moins 25 km sur cette route pour 20 baths. Malheureusement ces bus ne sont pas fréquents et on ne connaît pas les horaires .Seule la propriétaire de la guesthouse nous a marqué les horaires sur un plan .Les autres personnes, dàs la rue ,ne semblent pas connaître ces bus .Tout ce ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner ou prendre le petit déjeuner dans une cuisine commune . Personnel très agréable Juste un petit détail : La carte qui ouvre la chambre ouvre aussi l'électricité et donc ,quand on part pour la journée, le frigo est coupé. Quand on revient à la chambre, on ne retrouve pas les boissons fraîches .Il faudrait que le frigo soit branché sur un circuit spécial.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Mosquito screens for the windows, so you can let some air in, would've been great. The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Hatten warum auch immer in der Nacht andauernde brummende Geräusche gehabt. Schlafen war nur mit Ohropax möglich. Hatten Raum Nr. 4. Terrassenmöbel sind allgemein bei der Anlage ausbaufähig.

• Lara Adriana (9/5): - Uns hat es in dieser Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hat uns bei vielen Dingen geholfen. Die Zimmer waren schön, groß und sehr sauber. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich! Die Ausstattung war gut. Es gab eine kleine Terrasse vor dem Zimmer. Wir konnten direkt in der Unterkunft einen Roller leihen. Alles in allem also top!! Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter:) Uns hat ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer gefehlt. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln

Er is de mogelijkheid om een scooter te huren en tours te boeken naar de Hellfire pass en Erawan watervallen. Hard getik van de airco (?) buiten dat binnen te horen is.

• sarah (10/5): - Les femmes sont adorables. Les chambres sont bien agencées, même si peu grandes les lits sont en hauteur ce qui est très pratique. Bonne literie. La GH se trouve au calme, alors qu'elle est au bord d'une grande route. A moins de 10 min d'un 7eleven et d'un marché de nuit quotidien. Accès à un espace cuisine propre et avec plein d'ustensiles, très agréable après plusieurs mois de voyage :) Mise à disposition gratuite de vélos Le frigo s'éteint lorsqu'on enlève la clé/carte

The host is very nice - she is very patient; she explained in detail as to what places to visit on a motorbike in Kanchanaburi. There are benches outside the rooms where people can sit and smoke. The neighbouring guests were smoking and it was very smelly at night. There should be a dedicated place for smokers, and shouldn’t be allowed to smoke in the hallway.

• Steve (10/5): Heureux d'avoir réservé au Baan Ma Feung - Nous avons adoré ce Guesthouse, très calme, et pourtant situé sur la rue principale de Kanchanaburi. Lorsque nous sommes entrés dans la chambre, quel bonheur de constater la taille de ce lit qui était si confortable ! Nous avons vraiment très bien dormi. La salle de bain était fonctionnelle, le personnel était très agréable et réactif à nos demandes. Il y avait de beaux miroirs dans la chambre. L'hôtel se situe juste à côté de la gare routière et à une heure à pied du Pont de la Rivière Kwai. À quelques minutes à pied, le Skywalk vous accueille et son marché le samedi soir. Génial ! L'hôtel offre la possibilité de louer des scooters et des vélos, ce qui est parfait pour visiter le temple du Dragon ou le Wat Tham Suea à quelques kilomètres de là. Seul bémol, l'espace vasque n'était pas assez lumineux.

• Oriechan (10/5): - Per quanto la reception si affacci su una strada trafficata, le camere sono silenziose, i letti comodissimi, servizio self service di caffè e tè la mattina. La padrona di casa ci ha aiutato a trovare un taxi economico per una gita al hell Fire. Ottimo servizio. Sicuramente da considerare in futuro se ripassiamo di qui.

• Simone Caselli (10/5): - Abbiamo dormito 1 notte e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera è semplice ma pulita e funzionale. L'aria condizionata perfetta, rinfresca la stanza ma non punta sul letto (a noi dà fastidio se ci punta addosso). Il personale è super gentile ed accogliente, al mattino mettono a disposizione tè, caffè e pane con burro e marmellata. Avremmo voluto fermarci di più ma purtroppo il giorno dopo la struttura era al completo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

• Louisa (8/5): Very good - The rooms are very nice and spacious, with a little communal area. Not advertised but there is free tea, coffee and toast in the kitchen area. The lady who runs it is very nice too and made us feel very welcome. The location is pretty far from places to eat.

For the price per night I would definitely recommend. The only thing I would say is that the aircon wasn’t that powerful which meant that it was too hot to sleep with the covers on. Although, it didn’t stop us from sleeping !

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. Breakfast was included. The location was central yet in a less touristy area, offering a unique and authentic experience. Additionally, it was within walking distance of the bus terminal, which was perfect for our trips to the waterfalls. -

• Watthecat (8/5): Very good - -Good location, walkable distance from the bus station (5~10 min) or railway station (10~15 minutes). - Lots of street food stalls in the evenings near the city clocktower (~2 min walk from the hotel) - 7 eleven store nearby (~3 min walk) - Very clean room - Friendly and helpful, hard working staff - The manager spoke good English -Comfortable bed -Fridge - Private bathroom with hot shower - Free water, coffee and tea -The guesthouse is surrounded by lots of green plants. - Noisy aircon (the staff fixed it after I put a claim) - The water tank made some noise every time me or my neighbour used the bathroom. - The staff was friendly but her English ability was limited. Communicate in Thai if you can. - Some mosquitoes inside and outside the room. Bring an insect spray. - The accommodation fee was a bit pricey for a guesthouse in a provincial city.
