- Patrick (8/5): - Well located for exploring the Cape. Even though the motel was busy, it was quiet at night. Many of the travellers are older or families. Not a party scene, which we appreciated. Rooms are large and spacious. Two restaurants neighboring the motel make last minute diner choices easy.
- Gisell (10/5): Summer getaway - We’ve stayed here many times. It’s conveniently located right across Marconi Beach. It has a great restaurant next door and wonderful breakfast bagel a very short walk from the hotel. The two pools were great for the kids.
- Melissa (8/5): - Spacious rooms, could use some new pillows (a bit flat), but really like the facilities - including a bbq area and fire pit. Also, rooms could use more frequent vacuuming, picked up a twist tie and other small items from the floor on entering.
- Nicole (10/5): - I rarely write reviews, however Southfleet Motor Inn is truly a gem. Lovely staff/family vibe and no frills stay in Wellfleet. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing and close proximity to several restaurants and a shop. Highly recommend!

- David (10/5): Always a warm welcome and a clean room… - The Southfleet is in a great location, directly across from the bike path, just down the road to Marconi Beach and next door to one of the best restaurants in Welfleet. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, a warm and accommodating staff and they are family run. We have stayed with them many times and will continue to do so when our travels bring us to the Cape Cod area. Obviously their prices have increased quite a bit from previous years but what hasn’t? At least they earn those extra dollars with a smile and a way that makes one feel at home away from home.
- Beth (10/5): - The location is amazing! If you’re a biker, there’s no need to drive anywhere. Easy access to the bike bath and at least 2 ocean beaches you can ride to in about 15 minutes. And easy access to food with restaurants on each side of the property or take advantage of the microwave in the lobby or the great fridge in the room. It’s also family-owned and lovely with a fire pit lit each evening.

- Sherry (10/5): Love the Southfleet and staff! - I love the Southfleet. My family and I have visited every year for 20 years. The owners and staff are like extended family, they are so kind, helpful and know us by name. Located in our favorite town on the cape, minutes from the ocean with an indoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor pool, fire pit and bikes. The southfleet never fails and is filled with happy memories for me and my family. We visited in the pouring rain, high winds and cold weather and we still had a blast!

The option of having two pools and indoor and outdoor was great for the kid. Also having my favorite national seashore beach right across from it was also amazing! There was no breakfast offered due to Covid but that was not indicated on the website so we were disappointed in that as we felt we had paid for it. The Motel location and proximity to the Wellfleet beaches and bike path make it a nice choice. The room had a musty odor but was clean and the staff were very nice. Bed was good.We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back.

- Sherry (10/5): Home hideaway in Wellfleet. - We can't get enough of South Wellfleet Motor Inn. We've gone twice this summer and hope to go a third before the season is over. The motel is convenient to four restaurants that you can walk to. The property has everything you want: two pools, a guest laundry, lots of space in the room. The service is wonderful. The proprietors go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The location is convenient to Wellfleet center, beaches and ponds and Provincetown. What more could you want?

Great indoor and outdoor pool plus hot tub. Only improvement I would recommend would be breakfast and a little more variety. Even a waffle iron would be a big plus. However still a great place and would stay again if I go back.

The hotel also has a heated indoor pool, and a pinpong table, which kids had fun. The hotel is also very close to a couple beaches within 10-20 minutes drive. Great location!
