• Beth (7/5): Restrictive attempt at rustic quaint 4 stories up. - The location made it possible to step outside the door into the city bustle. Although the room was 4 floors up. The view was amazing! No access to the salon for afternoon coffee or cups to drink the provided coffee from, just plastic. The room was not what we thought we reserved. 200€ for 1 room was too expensive with the bathroom on the other side of the salon and entry hall.
• Linda (10/5): Great stay in the center of Triest. - Great accommodation in the center of the city with super comfortable beds. Every part of the city we went to was in walking distance. Many restaurants and bars just a minute away from the room. Host was easy to contact, very friendly, easygoing and always answered very quickly.

• riccardo (9/5): Esattamente nel cuore di Trieste - La posizione è la migliore possibile per Trieste. La camera comoda e pulita, in ambiente sicuramente curato. La particolarità è che il bagno (piccolino, ma dotato di tutto), pur privato, non è nella camera e bisogna uscire nel corridoio comune per arrivarci. Se è necessario, ad esempio, utilizzarlo la notte non è il massimo. Questo incide un po' sul rapporto qualità/prezzo.

• Nicole (8/5): - This property is located in an ideal location, Right in the Piazza Sant’Antonio Nuovo. Lots of restaurants, cafés, and shopping right outside the door. Parking was a problem, but we located a parking garage about a 10 minute walk from the property. The elevator worked beautifully, the room was clean and comfortable. WhatsApp is the best way to communicate with the owner who will provide the information to access the room prior to arrival. We felt lucky to have such a wonderful place to stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Gorgeous and great location. - Beautiful room and place but make sure you know it's an airbnb and not a hotel with a front desk. The elevator was a bit challenging (push in a bar in the open square area!) I got stuck and needed asssitance! And the address will get you there, but you have to have the code PRIOR to getting there to get in and out of the building. Love the place though.
• Janet (7/5): Enjoyable and very comfortable. - Although the Tre Cupole is billed as a Bed & Breakfast, no breakfast is provided. There are plenty of cafes nearby so it wasn't a problem - but I did feel it was misleading. The premises are well furnished and the beds very comfortable. The location is very central with good transport links nearby (bus, train & boats). The original room we were allocated was at the opposite end of the apartment from its 'external bathroom'. To reach it entailed walking through 2 communal rooms and past the entrance door. We didn't relish doing this during the night so asked to have another room which was arranged. The distance between bedroom and bathroom needs to be made clearer on the Booking.com website.

• Greg (7/5): Lovely host and staff and a fabulous location. - Great location and very friendly staff. Let us be very clear - this is not a Bed & Breakfast as there is no breakfast. We had to change rooms after 1 night due to a booking error by the host. While this isn’t a huge factor it is exceptionally annoying when you are on a long trip and are changing accommodation every 3-4 nights.

Sara, the owner takes good care of details Nothing, this is my second time there. Anyhow the weak point may be that although they offer free coffe, tea and pastries, breakfast is not included

Also the communication was perfect and everyone was so nice! We went to eat breakfast somewhere else, but it was the best B&B we could have asked for anyway.

• MARTIN (10/5): 2 Night stay - Discerning Couple in 60’s - Great location, an easy 10 minutes walk from railway station & centrally located at top end of canal near St Anthony’s church. Early & personal checkin appreciated. Apartment was en suite and quiet. There is a very small old fashioned lift but the 3 flights of stairs are good keep fit. Lovely cafe just to right of front door for breakfast. There is only tea/coffee & biscuits provided in shared apartment lounge area. Recommendation of Menarosti, a superb family run local seafood restaurant was hugely appreciated.

• Massimo (10/5): Tutto molto positivo - Struttura elegante in un palazzo storico, arredata con gusto, camera ampia, materasso comodo, guanciale in memory, bagno esterno alla camera ma esclusivo, pulito, comodo e moderno, colazione non inclusa, ma caffè, the, acqua e qualche merendina a disposizione degli ospiti, posizione centralissima e quindi splendida. Splendida Trieste ma splendida anche l'esperienza alle Cupole. Un consiglio a chi verrà: google lo posiziona erroneamente sul lato opposto del canale, ma l'indirizzo al numero 6 è corretto ed il portone è accanto al negozio Tim. I parcheggi: Molo4 è lì vicino ma anche il park S.Giusto è comodissimo. Inoltre, nelle traverse (tutti parcheggi a pagamento in striscia blu) si parcheggia abbastanza comodamente la sera (gratuito dalle 20 alle 8 e la domenica)
• Jennifer (9/5): A lovely place to stay but you need to know that it’s not run as a standard B&B - Beautiful property, lovely room, very comfortable bed and pillows, very clean and everything to quality I was very happy there. I knew the bathroom was outside the room and was fortunate that it was more or less next to the room but you still needed to enter the entrance hall. some rooms needed to walk the length of the entrance hall. it’s important to know that the host is not resident.

The description says private bathroom, but it does not mention it is outside thru the hallway. For that price I would expect a bathroom in my room and a breakfast. Also I did not find the host very helpful as she was very quick to finish our telephone conversation.

We had an amazing - Thethe things I liked most about this hotel was the bed and the location. after traveling from America, we were exhausted and really looked forward to sleeping. the beds were amazing. also the location simply cannot be beat! you are centrally located to great shops, The seas and amazing cuisine. I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Stanza tripla con bagno in camera ristrutturato. Proprietaria cordiale ci ha fornito informazioni sulla città e fornito una mappa con indicazione dei punti strategici. Ottimo, sicuramente consigliato.

Tutto ciò premesso, il posto è gradevole e comodo.

• Michela (10/5): Spazio, stile e confort - Il nostro soggiorno presso Trieste è stato reso ancora più piacevole dall'accogliente b&b le cupole: La padrona è una persona squisita che ci ha accolto con molta gentilezza e ci ha aiutato nell'orientarci sulle cose da visitare. La camera è stupenda, letto molto comodo, arredamento di classe. Camera, bagno e stanze comuni molto pulite e ordinate.

• simone (4/5): Difficult to have someone there for checking and n - No one was there when we arrived, despite repeated emails stating our approximate time of arrival. Emailed twice once we found the place, called repeatedly and got cut off. There was no hot water the evening of not the morning of our stay. The espresso machine did not work and we and a couple of other guests could not make coffee. No one is on site to help with any of these issues, which can not be a big deal in there own if staff is present. Overall a disappointing stay.
