- 163mickm (4/5): Lost charm long time ago - Hotel lost its charm already many years ago. It is designed for conferences parties and other large events. But these don’t happen anymore since a long time. The furniture could definitely do with an upgrade. Beds are ok at least do me. Bathroom is acceptable although tiles need deep cleaning. Water pressure at times very faint. Hot water has to come from far away before it reached the room. Price wise there are other hotels in the neighborhood that are cheaper and offer better comfort. Staff is friendly and honest. Left a tip for cleaning lady and she came back to me saying I had left money.

The reception was great at the welcoming snd they took the time out to cook us fresh Iftar to break our fast every sunset of our stay. The hospitality was top notch and we didn’t miss what the rest were eating around lunch and we even at times at extras. The room was very spacious and large and mine was facing the pool. Enjoyed my stay.

- Elliott (8/5): Big rooms with nice beds, clean, safe, and in a good location - I travelled from the UK, and am a seasoned traveller. I found this hotel to be good for a hotel in East Africa. It is safe, and clean, and the rooms are big and comfortable (bed was huge), also didn't see any insects or mosquitos in my room. Security guards outside, and in an area with lots of Govt Ministries and a big UN base, so plenty of security in the area. The staff were very helpful in general and even gave us a free transfer back to the airport. I feel that some of the bad reviews are from those less familiar with real African hotels. A 4-star in Entebbe is not going to be the same as a 4-star in New York, but perfectly comfortable for a few days. Fitness room is a bit dated, and the pool wasn't clean but I wasn't planning on swimming - so just be aware if you are planning on using either of these. Coffee wasn't great, but there is a good cafe across the road.

Worst hotel experience in Uganda, worst ever in any country - Nothing - Zero- avoid the horrible staff at this third rate overpriced place. Imperial - oh really! No lifts, given rooms along way from the the stairs. Two old ladies had to hobble the long way to their distant rooms. NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. What appalling service. Disgraceful. On arrival they said that we had not paid for the extra guest - despite having booked two rooms for 3 guests. In the morning the two old ladies went for breakfast at 0730 - 0800 . The cleaning staff removed all bed sheets on their return at 0830 despite checkout at 1200. On complaining at the front desk the manager did nothing to assist.

- john_on_road (4/5): OK for a stay over - The location is good, near to the Botanical Garden, the Covid test centre and about 10 mins drive from the airport. The room was large and clean but the customer service was very poor. Staff were polite but offhand. Although we had a double room there was only one cup on the tea tray and there was no milk. When I asked at the desk for these items, I was told that 'housekeeping had closed. This was 7pm. My suggestion that someone get us milk from the kitchen was ignored. We had a meal in the restaurant one evening and room service the next. On both occasions we had to wait an hour for service. My wife had asked for tea with milk. What arrived was a small teapot full of hot milk and no tea bag. I had negotiated an airport shuttle of $15 for the two of us, instead of the $15 each advertised. On checkout there was a different member of staff who tried to insist on charging the full $30. Apart from the fact that most hotels in Entebbe offer a free shuttle, the episode left a nasty taste. Lastly, the receptionist first showed me the amount payable as a calculator total and was reluctant to give me an official bill. When he finally gave it to me, the official bill was $30 less than he had tried to charge me! I won't be staying there again.

The room is too spacious, furniture is wow & with beautiful view of golf course, delicious meals, staff are welcoming. Shopping was made easy, there is a mall right opposite hotel. There are beautiful apartments fully furnished right across the hotel gate. Remember its few minutes from the airport. you cant miss this hotel in this season of xmas. see u there janeva
- Flyer31482972577 (2/5): Disappointed - My stay was utterly disappointing! Very poor service,rooms smell of dump,housekeeping utilities like water, telephone and sockets not working! Also the management needs to work on motivation and wellness of their front desk staff as they all look so sad and it rubs off guests. There is need to revamp this hotel to its former state - its gone down the drain.
- dmah617 (8/5): Nice for stay over - Checked into this hotel late in the evening after a long flight from Canada. Rooms were clean and satisfactory. Good location. Breakfast was included and pretty descent. Moved onwards to Kampala for several which offered better accommodations though.
- E6857CZmaryn (8/5): Great Rooms - The new room, are great - lots of space, extra sits, high ceilings and comfortable beds. The food at the Crown restaurant is tasty and fresh with warm and welcoming staff. Being across from a mall is great, as access to extra services is just across the street. The layout of the hotel is a bit cumbersome, especially for kids going to and from the different places.

- 424abida (8/5): Breakfast - Was on a brief stopover to a meeting in Entebbe and we had breakfast at Imperial Golf. The location is excellent, service good and the buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food. It was good. There were fresh pastries also.
- 228KS (6/5): Good for business - If you are passing through entebbe or giving/ attending a conference then golf view is a good idea for you. It's near the mall, casino and govt ministries. Rooms are fine. Breakfast ok. It is in fact also near the golf course!
- MichelP632 (8/5): decent place to have a conference - This was a conference with over 100 people from many countries (several continents.) The lodging part was very good, the food seemed to satisfy the participants and the flow of events was well managed. Some aspects could however have been better managed: we were in a big room with two small projection screens. You can imagine how difficult (to impossible) it was for many to read some of the presenters PowerPoint slides. The hotel is conveniently located accross of a "mall" so one can venture out in the evening and have some non hotel food. The neighborhood seems to be safe and the hotel is a short walk away from the Zoo and botanical garden
- 672haroldm (8/5): Business Workshop - About 5kms drive from the airport the hotel is good for a short stay to attend a workshop or conference. I would put it in the category of business hotels The staff were respectful but don't expect to be pampered. Some rooms have a view of Lake Victoria in the distance. Some do not. The food is a mix of local buffet and Al Acarte
- Dondieki (6/5): Near the Airport - The hotel is situated a few minutes from Entebbe airport. Stayed for a few nights whilst on business. Hotel is clean and the staff were great. I would recommend one trying their fried tilapia but again if one wants a better taste the restaurant in the vicinity offer better dishes.

- tynanyoni (8/5): Beautiful Scenery - Stayed at the hotel for five nights.The hotel has beautiful gardens which are well maintained.The rooms are very spacious.They is need to hire more experienced and friendly personnel inorder to keep the good standards.Internet connectivity needs to be improved in rooms.You only have best connectivity when you at the reception area.
- mercyo2017 (8/5): Good conference venue - The place is beautiful with lovely gardens. I was here for a conference and the amenities were good. Free wifi, good aeration in the conference room, PA system was also good and the staff was friendly. The hotel could have been planned better though since going for lunch we had to navigate as though walking through a mini maze. The food was okay. I liked the green peas curry served at the lunch buffet. The interior design at the reception and restaurant were very beautiful and artistic. With a big mall opposite it and proximity to the main road, it has a good location in Entebbe.
- ninachachu (6/5): Good meeting venue - Stayed here for three and half nights for a meeting with colleagues from West and East Africa. This hotel seems to be quite popular as there were at least three other meetings/workshops going on during the week I was there. Generally most of us felt the rooms were very large, clean and quite comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. The pool was large and clean and not crowded. Although the power did go off a few times, generators kicked in pretty quickly. Facilities for the meeting were good apart from the internet, which was so-so. The hotel is also close to the airport, so getting there took less than 15 minutes. Walked a couple of times to the shoreline of Lake Victoria which was pretty impressive.
- Richard (2/5): Nightmare - We arrived at 3:00 AM after traveling 20 hrs., hoping to get 4 hrs sleep before our fight out of Entebbe. We had just finished 2 weeks doing dental clinics in remote villages. They couldn't find our reservation, even though I showed them our booking number etc.,and after a long hassle, brought us to a room. After unpacking and getting into bed, they were banging on our door, which i unfortunately opened. They demanded that we repack and move to a different room (4:15 AM), because they finally found our reservation and had put us into a regular room when it stated we were to be in a cheap room. After a lengthy argument that I probably might have awakened the whole hotel, my wife insisted we just go ahead and move - about 200 yards and a few flights of stairs away. By then, I was so steamed that I got no sleep, and we we were out and off to the airport a few hrs. later, on their shuttle which cost $45 for a 2 mile ride.
- Verified traveler (8/5): This one's a keeper - Very good hotel. We had a plumbing leak in the sink, but otherwise quite good. I've stayed in another hotel in Entebbe and this was superior by far. Will definitely use them again.
- 655kimk (6/5): Great Hotel Poor Service - This is a nice hotel. The rooms are large with great furniture. The grounds are good. There's many bars, lounges & restaurants but most are closed. They Service is poor. Unskilled workers, very poor meals. Sad how such a nice place can has Dec such poor service.

- VeroPretoria (8/5): Great conference venue - We held a 2 days workshop at the Imperial Golf View and I was very satisfied with the venue, set up and service. My room was huge, very clean and comfortable. The food is good and plentiful. The staff very accommodating. I will recommend this hotel if you are holding a workshop in Uganda: good value for money and conveniently close to the airport. Also nice if you are just visiting Entebbe
- infobiz (8/5): A quiet luxury hotel - Nice hotel near to the imperial mall which is not yet open. Hotel has two wings new and old. Please ask for new wing whenever you are checking in. Hotel is quite, may be not much occupancy when I stayed. It was wonderful garden, plush plants and good frontage. You can also enjoy a nice walk to beach if you stay here. Recommended.
- Niyi_David (8/5): HOMELY, CLEAN & TRANQUIL - We arrived Entebbe airport after 22:00hrs on February 6, 2017 for the #POATE2017 and were driven to Imperial Golf View Hotel. First impressions, the hotel was pretty big with ample space. My room was clean, comfy with lots of space. The restaurant was clean and nice. I didn't get to see much more though, because the next morning we were on our way to Kidepo Valley National Park. But the little I saw of Imperial Golf View was enough to make me want to return there...
- vipindasck (6/5): Quiet & Clean - Stay at Imperial Golf View Hotel was not so bad. It was unbelievably quiet during my stay in Nov-December. By the size of the Hotel it can afford lots of guests, but I didn't see many. Restaurant was empty most of the time. May be it was not the season for tourists. Stayed at second floor, there was no lift to carry the luggage even. Room was not big enough for the price charged. Overall service was ok.
- T5188OUmarkh (6/5): Clean, comfortable and helpful staff - Stayed here one night after arriving at the airport before making the long drive to Kibale National Park. In it's hey day it must have bee a great place, this place still retains it charm and it sure beats staying in Kampala. Service is super friendly. My bed was firm with a futon-like mattress. I slept great despite the air conditioning been a little loud. I eventually became just white noise. A nit to pick. I'm 6' 1", and the bed is about 4 inches too short. I had a week's worth of laundry that needed to be done and a couple hours after dropping it off I found it hanging in my closet. They did an awesome job and well beyond to call of duty. Everything is pressed so neatly (which I would never do) it's a shame I'm gonna stuff it back in my luggage. I'd stay here again.
