Voortreffelijk gegeten elke avond en ook het ontbijt was supergoed verzorgd met veel lekkers. Vriendelijk personeel en rondleiding door olijfgaard met uitleg hoe in vroegere tijden de olijfolie werd gemaakt. Niks, verblijf was boven verwachting!

• Gema (10/5): 100% recommended! - The location was ideal for Ostuni and close beaches. Definitely recommend having a car to get to it. The Masseria itself is gorgeous, beautiful building surrounded by a sea of olive trees and a fab swimming pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful from minute one. Breakfast was very good, be careful leaving ham and cheese unattended, lovely little luna likes it lol! (Cat). They produce their own extra virgin olive oil which is amazing, would have definitely brought back more than 2 litres if I had space!

• Cristian (9/5): Nice place to stay in a very natural enironment - Very nice location, in the middle of an old olive farm. Very clean room, comfy beds. Good and variate breakfast. Plenty of parking space. Very narrow access road, not lighted during the night. There are long stretches of road where there is literally no space for two cars to pass by. One evening, when returning to the house we encountered another car (staff?) that was just leaving the place. We were forced to drive in reverse for several hundreds of meters in complete darkness to allow the other car to pass. Not for the faint of heart!

Met aandacht ingericht. - Nadat het de afgelopen dagen nogal hard had geregend was het best spannend om over het smalle weggetje met hier en daar veel water naar de Masseria te rijden. Daar aangekomen blij verrast met een mooie accommodatie. Weliswaar moesten we met onze bagage door de regen sjouwen, maar de kamer was makkelijk te bereiken en heel mooi en groot. We konden gelukkig blijven dineren, ondanks de lage bezettingsgraad. Een toertje door de olijfperskelder met toelichting van Maria was leuk. Het eten was smakelijk en mooi opgemaakt. Na een rustige nacht hadden we een uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt. We vertrokken met een heerlijk zonnetje.

• Micha33k (8/5): One cozy november night in the Apulian olive birches fields. - Traditional apulian style of buildings, cozy restaurant - breakfast area, no neighbours - vey quiet, 20 minutes from Brindisi airport, easy parking, good staff, clean room with AC, cute swimming pool area - stylish, modern and clean. We were the only and the last guests of the season that night. Staff wrote us asking about the dinner a couple of hours before our late arrival - appreciated their anticipation and care. Curtain on the glass room front door - a bit intimidating. A bit modest room furniture.

Très bon petit déjeuner, simple, mais bons produits. Vraiment déçue de ne pas avoir eu l'appartement que nous avions réservé, mais 2 chambres communicantes. On tenait vraiment à cet appartement, mais rien à faire, sur place on nous a dit qu'il n'était pas disponible, puis qu'on s'était trompé de réservation, puis que l'appartement n'était pas à louer sur Booking. Et pourtant, c'est bien ce que nous avions réservé.

Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Uitgebreid ontbijt. De kamer (studio) was gedateerd en ongezellig. De douche was zeer klein. Geen patio (stond wel op de website). We keken uit op een blinde muur. Na klacht bij de receptie kregen wij een andere kamer, die wat beter was en met een ruimere douche. Nog steeds geen patio.

• Cynthia (9/5): A great Puglian farmhouse experience. - Masseria Valente provided us with a unique and unforgettable experience. We loved taking in the sight of acres of beautiful and ancient olive trees each time we drove through the property. The old farmhouse and modern swimming pool and surrounding gardens were also something to be admired. Management and staff were very friendly and accommodating. And the food was excellent.
• pauline (7/5): A lovely place , but fell short owing to the room relocation. - The staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast there and both meals were of good quality. The Internet was good and the property itself was beautiful and had a lot of atmosphere. We were able to check in early. We had booked a studio apartment but on check in were told that they were fully booked and we had instead been allocated a “suite” which was a recently renovated building a little away from the main complex. It sounded great, but although spacious had none of the inclusions of the studio. The furniture was simply a bed, 2 bedside tables - no chairs or anywhere to put luggage other than on the floor. No water, tea or coffee provided , no fridge and we had to ask reception for glasses as none were provided, not even in the bathroom. I should have followed up at the time - my mistake, but it was only when checking the booking after that I realised just what we had missed out on. We mentioned these shortcomings to the staff when we were checking out, to be told that the room had only been recently renovated. So? We should have received equivalent provision as provided in the studio that we had booked. So - this has coloured my review, which is a pity as it’s a beautiful place and seems to be very well run otherwise.
