- Alan (8/5): Excellent food accommodation and staff . - We found the facilities excellent .the food was of a high standard and the staff we both attentive and polite. Nothing really the prices were on a par with other facilities although £7.00 for a pint was a bit steep it is probably on a par with other pubs in the area .
- Udey (10/5): - Beautiful English breakfast and lovely decor.

- Raymond (10/5): A wonderful comfortable stay in a beautiful pub in a lovely village location - We were greeted with a very warm welcome and my case carried to the room which was spacious, clean with lovely furniture and decoration. The en-suite was amazing with a lovely walk in shower and lovely tolietries supplied. The bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely drink in the beautiful beer garden and a wonderful evening meal. The Plough is a lovely country pub in a lovely quiet village location. We stopped over on our way to embark on a cruise in Southampton. I would highly recommend staying here. Very close to a visit to Winchester There was absolutley nothing to dislike
- gregory (8/5): Très bien pour 1 nuit - Le personnel très sympathique.

- Colin (10/5): Weekend break - Super comfy big bed, lovely shower & sunny 🌞 balcony. Nothing not to like, just a suggestion perhaps it would be nice in the breakfast room to have some soft background music,DAB radio to create an ambience.
- Amanda (10/5): Excellent stay would highly recommend -
- Alan (9/5): - Quaint pub weather was great so it was nice to sit outside in the garden Tempary scaffolding

- Ronald (9/5): First choice for a stay in this area - The staff were friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one. Our room was clean and well presented, if a touch on the small side. We stayed for 2 nights and slept very well. Breakfast was cooked to order; always preferable to a buffet. The food itself was well cooked and good quality, supporting local tradesmen. We ate at the hotel in the evenings too, and the menu was excellent with lots of interesting choices as well as old favourites. It was great to see Whitebait on the menu, and it was delicious. Plenty of parking at the hotel, and a lovely setting in Itchen Abbas. I'm not going to complain about anything.
- Julie (10/5): Lovely room. Quiet location and excellent food - The rooms are elegant and clean. Nothing
- Christine (8/5): A warm welcome and kind staff . - The breakfast was very tasty with wonderful large field mushrooms. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the service attentive. Our evening meal on the first evening was also delicious. Everything was comfortable, just a bit awkward positioning of the cabinet next to the toilet but that was probably my arthritic knees!
- Rennie (10/5): - Excellent Nothing had a lovely stay and will stay again
- Steven (10/5): Would definitely stay here again. - Everything, comfortable nights stay, nice breakfast and dinner Nothing at all

- Kate (10/5): Delightful traditional English pub with great food; very helpful staff; excellent rooms and good parking. - Very clean; comfortable stylish room; great parking; easy excess to room out of hours; good breakfast; perfect location to our wedding venue. Nothing. All was perfect and would recommend.
- Gary Luther (10/5): Outstanding - Stayed one night at The Plough when working in the area. The hotel was excellent. Real country pub feel. room was very comfortable with a lovely sunny balcomy overlooking the beer garden. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was small with a corner shower but was enough. Room very clean. Staff very pleasant. Food was outstanding. I had a burger for the evening meal and it was honestly the best burger I have ever had. Good choice at breakfast and very substantial. Loads of free parking. One point to note, the hotel is located on a road and as my room was at the front (with the original windows) I worried that road noise might have been an issue. I shouldn't have worried the road is virtually dead after 10 pm. Great night's sleep. Overall an excellent stay and would be more than happy to stay again. Nothing negative. All good.
- Alison (10/5): Definitely a place to recommend! - The Plough was well located in a beautiful area and so great for local walks.
The place itself was superbly maintained both inside and out. The bar and restaurant were welcoming and the room names all told a story.
Most importantly the owner and all his staff were very friendly and the service was exemplary. For us the kindness they showed us was exemplary.
- Keith (10/5): Delightful - Great location for Winchester and the surrounding area. The rooms were lovely and clean and simply but tastefully decorated. The quality of our room (Turnwrest) was exceptionally high with ensuite and Sky TV. The food was also very good with breakfast included and it's obvious how much the owners care.
