- Linda (8/5): We have been going to the hotel for 3 years now, mainly for its location and modern look. - Location, modern feel and comfortable, relaxed and friendly. Soft furnishings and carpet in the room were stained. Dirty floor mat in the shower. Very small menu for food.

- Antonia (10/5): Fancy on a budget - Location is really central for the event I was attending. Lidl across the road as well as a Tesco Express. Room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was also really good and included in the booking so couldn’t grumble with that. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. Also managed to get a parking space right outside the hotel which only cost £12. Was anxious about parking in the multi story across the road. Nothing, was only there 1 night and had no issues.

We’ve stayed here several times and it has never disappointed. Only potential hitch is getting the car parked, but where there’s a will there’s a way! Highly recommended.

Staff were brilliant, room was really good, spacious and had everything you need, iron, ironing board hairdryer etc. Breakfast was fantastic, 2 waffle makers to make your own, I had a morning roll so fresh. Location 10 mins walk from high street, easily accessible for everything we wanted to do on this trip. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but didn't deter my stay, the pros outweighs any cons

Nothing really , all I would say is when leaving luggage they don’t put a tag on the cases , so have to describe what cases look like, which would feel safer if they did, as member of staff brought out another case which wasn’t mine but similar.

At least 5 of 10 foods ran out three times and were not refilled within 5 to 10 minutes, tables were covered in dirty plates, staff were sluggish and disinterested. Layout not very effective.

Bacon was thick and undercooked, sausages overcooked and staff too quick to clear the table. We went to make waffles, come back and the food was gone and someone else sitting at our table all in the space of 5 minutes. Apart from those little things it was lovely.

- Chelsea (10/5): Hampton by Hilton Dundee - The hotel is not far from the city centre. Just a short walk and you are the overhead shopping centre. There's also a Lidl next door that is open until late. The hotel staff are friendly, the place is quiet and the food was delicious! The bar is open until 1am and you can also order food until then too which was great for the hungry kids at 10pm! Great place to stay, the room was lovely and clean and the place all-round was clean. Also check out isn't until 12 which was great! They let us keep our bags there all day until our train home too. Just great! N/a

- Martin (8/5): Great value for a city-centre hotel - Excellent value for money at about £79 for a double, including a very generous breakfast buffet. We had a big, comfortable room, with a great view. The location is pretty good - a few minutes walk from central shopping streets and the V&A. This place wouldn't win any design awards, but it's clean, comfy and efficient. Having to pay an additional fee to park the car wasn't great, but I guess it's understandable for a city-centre location.
