Happy to have my car parked inside the property. It had an artistic and eclectic feel in terms of the interior design. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and a bit old. The room overall needs an upgrade as it looks dated and needs a fresh coat of paint on the walls and the doors. The kitchen cupboards were damaged at the bottom. The bathroom had very old finishes and sanitaryware. The occasional chairs need to be re-upholstered. The desk chair seat was also broken. The rubbish bin did not have a lid and was quite stinky. The room was exceptionally hot even with the door open. An aircon needs to be installed. There were no bedside tables. An overall refurb needs to be done to upgrade this B&B.

Beds comfy but a bit noisy (wood squeak). No real noise insulation, so you can hear other guests (not loud, but you can hear people moving/talking). Street parking okay. Shower drain of room 3 very slow to drain.

Hester (8/5): Excellent and save place with all the amenities nearby. - John Bauer Pottery Studio is a save place to stay over for 1 night. Room is not to big but big enough for a comfortable stay. John and Gail communication with us was excellent the best I ever had when booked a place to stay. Thanks for that They must makw sure guests understand there no smoking policy as poeple who stay next to us in another room , just open there room window for a quick smoke and that at 5 in the morning.

Situated about a 10 min walk to Cavendish Shopping Centre which has an excellent variety of shops. Had to pay additional daily parking charge however saying that, car was kept behind closed gate

Niek (10/5): Top notch accommodation - My son and I traveled very light from PE to Cape Town, planning to buy whatever we needed once we checked in. To our surprise, the facility had absolutely everything we could need — shampoo, body soap, washcloths, refreshments, and more. This saved us the hassle of going to the shops and gave us more time to explore. The location was also excellent, close to all the main access points we needed for exploring Cape Town. Everything was convenient, comfortable, and perfectly set up. It truly made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very good experience, and everything was just perfect. Highly recommended! Nothing to complain about

Ruby (9/5): Potter, People, and Peace. 😍 - The home was neat and so clean. The staff are happy in the environment, it shows in their behavior and are very helpful. The recying program is spot on... for those who do it. Not everyone does. The things that were an issue for me was the washing line. It has a very tight space with the ivy, so over grow. And I dont like to use the dryer for a family of 4 every 2nd day it is expensive . A light must pls be installed over the kitchenet. For people making snacks. And early morning tea and school bags, that must be packed. A few extra hooks behind the door for keys.
Vicky (8/5): We can recommend going there. - The hostess Gail was very accommodating and lovely to us. We had problems initially finding the place but when we got there and opened our WhatsApp we found messages from her detailing the way to get in with videos showing us how. These were excellent. There were road work traffic hold ups getting there that are on going. We decided to walk to the dentist the next day as it was quicker to walk. We were allowed to leave our car in the garage until after the treatment. As we said they were most accommodating to our needs.

Super clean room and bathroom, generous tea and coffee station, comfy chairs and beds, easy access kitchen. Really nitpicking here but creaky cupboard doors and a bit of noise from train at night.
