- Michelle (9/5): - That Guesthouse is walking distance from the square. Nice and cozy. The parking is safe and secure. Other guests were very noisy causing us to wake early. Maybe put a sign up reminding guests to be considerate of others especially outside the rooms. The bathroom curtains needs a good clean and the shower had a drainage problem. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

- Joseph Rabbit (4/5): Disappointing - clean room ALERT - Let’s explain how this business deceive customers. One thing is what they write in their ads and the other is how things work there: 1 - We booked a room with the accommodation and when we arrived there, the hotel was empty but it was arranged for us a room in the second level. When we asked help with the luggage we were informed that there was no one available. We asked to move to a room on the ground floor and this was attended. 2 - At that point the issues started. When we were entering the room with our 4 heavy bags, the Manager/Owner told us that the internet was not working but the next day early in the morning it was going to be working. My wife and I work remotely and needed the internet and the representatives of the accommodation knew it. The next day around 10 AM, I had to go to the Manager and ask about the internet. She addressed to us that the repair was there is a few minutes it was going to work. After 2 hour I returned to the manager and ask about the internet for my important work and she told me to use her office with internet. 3 - One hour later I returned to work at her office with internet but I was not allowed to use!!! 4- I stayed at the accommodation 2 nights, stating the first day at 2:30 PM and check out 2 days later at 10 AM. On the first day when I went to have a shower at night, I realized that there was no hot water for a shower and the reception was closed with no one to help. The next day I was informed by the manager that the cleaner turned off the hot water and someone was going to turn on the hot water. What was not addressed to us was the fact that the heat system needed two hours to heat up the water. We could only have a shower at 12PM of the second day. It means that I arrived tired from long drive but could only have a shower the next day at 12 PM. Poor cleaner, she became responsible for the hotel not to provide hot water to clients when they arrive. 5 - Have I been treated as a customer by this business?

Check-in was not handled at reception desk...we were given keys for the room in the street outside the guesthouse (apparently as a result of dogs onsite). Following several service requests regarding a non-functional TV, a non-working microwave, and a non-working bathtup hot water tap, we were completely ignored the entire day...and at about 7:30pm when they eventually answered our phone call, we were shouted-at by some very rude fellow, and told that they do not operate a 24hr reception service...which was ridiculous, as they had completely ignored our calls and whatsup messages the whole day. We then contacted Booking.com to lodge a complaint and insisted that the booking be cancelled with immediate effect. This was the worst ever experience at a Guesthouse in the lovely town of Clarens, where we've been visiting over the years.

- Malia (7/5): Nothing postive to say. - I honestly did not have a pleasant experience at this guesthouse. Firstly, when I arrived, the lady that was assisting me couldn’t find my booking. Secondly, I had an early appointment, I had to shower at 05:00, to my surprise, there was no water. Later in the afternoon when I came back, I asked and only then was I told that there are water issues in the area. I mean things like that need to be communicated upon check-in. Lastly, I am now battling to get an invoice for my stay since I used a business credit card for the booking, I called to follow up on the invoice and I was told that they would be committing fraud if they were to issue me with an invoice. I always book for work trips on Booking.com and there has never been an issue as far as the invoice is concerned. I hope that other guests are treated with kindness and humility.

Floors were not that clean even though it was a so called "upgraded room" . The toilet was far from the bedroom. Owner was pretty rude when we asked if we could not be moved to another room which we actually booked. Later that afternoon she told us we were welcome to find alternate accommodation and she would refund us the money paid.

The room was full of dust makes my stay uncomfortable. The next day I expected my room to be cleaned I went out very early in the morning comes back late evening to my surprise I found the room without been cleaned not even the dust bin been empted. The towels are very old and hard to to use them.

Keuken is goed geoutilleerd, al maakt de koelkast veel lawaai. Het bed is aan de kleine kant. Doucheruimte is groot. Buitenzitjes stellen niet veel voor. Locatie is prima.
