• Kimberly (6/5): Would not stay again. - We have been going to Wildwood since we were kids. This was my 60th birthday trip. The beds were not comfortable. The linens and towels had different kinds of stains on them. Looked like stains that could not be washed out. The toilet had to be flushed repeatedly after every use. There were limited outlets. They did supply soap but no shampoo. The pool was very nice. Everyone we encountered was very nice. If you are going to send your customers a long list of why they would keep your deposit, then you should do better! We would not sray here again and would not recommend. Soraying the rooms to make them smell good does not mask the black cracks in the walls or the stains on the carpet.
• Ronald (8/5): - Decent stay. Convenient to the beach and restaurants. Friendly staff and nice pool. Could use a little fixing up - air conditioner hanging out of wall and beds are kind of hard to sleep on. Overall a solid place.

• William (8/5): Nice Place - Nice place and friendly staff. Just needs some updates, bathrooms for example, and remove ALL carpeting! Aside from that, I would def book another trip and stay there.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is clean, quiet, beautiful and the staff is amazing. Front desk was super accommodating and friendly and thoughtful and had terrific maid service every day. It’s close to the beach and boardwalk. The rooms have excellent ac and working refrigerators. Literally the only downside was the bed. I’d stay again but bring a mattress topper.

• July (2/5): - Why Expidia have these type of deals?. I could cancelled my reservation Expedia didn’t allow it. The front receptionist did the best she can Simon. The first room assigned to me was in very very poor condition to stay( bad smell, the wall was damaged of water) I don’t understand how they have that for a guest. The second room thanks to Simon was a little better but not the best. I don’t recommend this motel.
• John (2/5): - The description online does not match the room we received. It was very dirty and not well kept. We checked out within an hour and ended up staying at a different hotel. They did immediately refund our money and the staff was very polite and understanding.
• David (6/5): - Overall we had a good stay. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean and slightly remodeled. There were no lamps at all only one ceiling light in each of the two rooms. The bathroom was outdated and very tiny but it got the job done. There was a bedroom with no closet and no tv and seemed like an after thought. It was kind of creepy feeling so we stayed in the main room. The bed was very hard and covered in plastic which was noisy. There was a very tiny tv and the sound was really hard to hear over the in wall air conditioner. We had a very expensive order of pancakes and French toast at the diner that is there. Food was decent but $35 for breakfast seemed pricey. Overall it wasn’t bad and the room was affordable.

• Louise (6/5): - The motel Was basic at the most. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and other bed in living room was not very comfortable. Despite the motel being rundown it was fine for a few nights stay close to beach plenty of parking and very quiet at night other guest were very friendly
• Ken (8/5): - It looks like the property needed some attention. There was weeds all around the other shrubs. As far as the pool I wouldn’t even think to go in it, the pool guy really had zero interest in taking care of it. There was black dirt buildup on the railing dividing the kiddie pool from the deep end it was so nasty. It just needs some updating. Even with the employees (definitely the pool guy) and most definitely work attire.
• Maria (10/5): - Staff was very good and polite. The rooms a bit out dated but kept in good condition. The shades for the window do need to be thicker or something. I woke up thinking it was at least 7 in the morning and it was 3am LOL. Way to bright. Stay was great,.nice pool, nice staff.
• Xin (8/5): Mid Century Motel needs a savior - This is a motel built probably in a 1960s. The bathroom fixtures are all still original as is the tile. You will see rust stains in the cast-iron sink at the drain and overflow tube. The toilet has low water pressure which requires one to hold the handle down until it completely flushes, and it also runs periodically. The carpet is honestly filthy and so is the couch. The chairs also heavily stained. The cleaning crew does a very good job of cleaning however they can’t remove stains from worn out carpets and furniture. There was only four spoons and four forks one dull steak knife. There were enough dishes for two people. There was a coffee machine Keurig, but they did not supply the K cups, so we could not use it. The can opener was bent and unusable. The front desk did not know what a can opener was and first gave me a knife to open a can and then a cork screw. They didn’t understand the concept of a can opener. They were foreign workers so I assume in their country they don’t use sealed cans. The fake plastic palm trees are missing the palms and they look like dead, fake palm trees. There is a shuffleboard court and table tennis. However, there are no balls and paddles and no shuffleboard disc and sticks. The exterior the building has flaking and deteriorating paint and the exterior wood is water damaged. they have a breakfast and lunch diner on site however we didn’t try it. The pool was very good and was reasonably clean.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice stay! - The room was very clean. The property was very neat and orderly. Check-in and check-out were easy.
• Junell (6/5): - For the price I paid it was decent, but the motel is very very very old. It looks like nothing has been redone since it was first opened which I don’t mind. It was very clean but the bed was terrible. I needed 4 blankets to cushion the material so I didn’t wake up in pain. Also the blinds kept no light out at night it looked like daytime in my room all night long. If these two factors were adjusted I would most certainly stay here again.

• Adrianna (6/5): - I knew going in what to expect. For our needs with four teenagers, this was fine for a few days. However, the fridge died just as soon as our groceries were put away. We switched rooms, which was fine, to discover the fridge in the new room had ants. They took care of that situation quickly and it worked out but still gross. The wall is literally crumbling around the AC unit and the bathrooms need to be gutted. The property has SUCH potential because the location is great but it seems like the owners, who I think are new, are in over their heads and don’t know what they are doing. We won’t be returning and have learned my lesson about going a little cheaper.
• Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!! - I booked for a week with my family. My kids and I came down early since my husband was working. First impression was the place is completely run down. (Think seaside motels circa 1990s). Room was totally dated and who puts carpeting in a seaside motel with sand and water! Smelled musty. And hallways also had carpet so it was gross. First night we were “ok” EXCEPT woke up to sugar ants EVERYWHERE!! Luckily I had put the clothes on the other side of the room but my other stuff in the closet area were covered (including my sons baby bottles) I was disgusted and literally just cleaning and throwing everything in the shower to rinse the ants off. I went to the front desk and told them I wanted a new room immediately and have someone spray. Can you believe they asked for picture evidence…I was furious…sorry I was too busy taking care of my 2 screaming children who were freaking out and cleaning up the mess to whip out my phone!! 2nd room was the same except the mold and mildew was making us cough…luckily I travel with a nebulizer bc my daughter had an asthma attack. Next day I went down stairs and immediately checked the F out of there and went to a new hotel!! I’m fighting for my money back. I’ve never stayed in such a disgusting hotel in my life and I felt awful my kids had to endure 2 nights there. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else…even if it costs a few $ more!! Oh and the toilet didn’t flush unless you stood there and held it down for about 30 seconds!
• James (6/5): - Liked reasonable rates. Disliked door handle did not work, took 10 minutes to try and open. Management sprayed lock with WD 40 which only temporarily worked then back to problem opening. Blinds needs some adjustment open spaces were can see in. Towel rack in bathroom kept falling off the wall. Room needs some maintenance.
• Donata (10/5): - Don’t expect 5 star lodging. This property is old but the rooms are clean. Even though the bathroom is old school turquoise and pink porcelain and the pipes are rusted, it’s clean. Plenty of towels. No sand on the tile is the living area and our socks and bare feet stayed clean. AC unit cooled the whole unit efficiently. Staff friendly and accommodating. On-site restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Pool clean. Small gift shop with sun essentials.

The manager called urgent care ahead of time, and they were expecting me. She then continued to follow-up to make sure I was fine. I really appreciated her kindness. The room was clean, and the AC worked well. We stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed the clean pool which they kept open until 9pm. Overall excellent vacation, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again next year.

Also, not a huge deal, but there were not many outlets, we had to get a powerstrip so we could charge multiple phones near the bed.

ROOM: Door Locks extremely frustrating, property owners should really invest in replacing, surrounding visitors expressed the inconvenience of trying to unlock their doors also. Ceilings and floors bowing Bathroom has no Vents, WET damp feeling entire room, but A/C works GREAT. Water pressure Very Good, but never hold same temperature while getting a shower. ANTS!!! ANTS!! Tossed all food stored on counter (even in bags & boxes) from ants hours After Arriving… Addressed ISSUE with office: Their only offer and solution was to have housekeeper spray, nothing mentioned as an apology nor compensation for any loss of food. Housekeepers attentive. Overall will NOT return to this location, many better options within 200ft.

• Linda (6/5): - To flush the toilet you had to hold the lever down about 1/2 a minute until everything went down. The TV only had 6 channels none of which were kid friendly. Plus one channel was sports and 1 news which left only 4 channels. Someone needs to wipe down the chairs in the morning so you can sit and relax while having your coffee.

There were families smoking hookah outside next to the pool at all hours. Tons of people parked in the spots without tags meaning multiple times we didn’t have parking at the hotel but the office was already closed and there was no way to contact anyone. 100% will not return and will tell everyone not to visit Tangiers

• Molly (6/5): - It was close to everything. Needed a comforter on the bed, not just two sheets, beds were not very comfortable, need heavy dark curtains in the room, very bright in the middle of the night due to bright lights. Very safe and quiet though. Pool was nice.
• Gina (6/5): - For a motel it was doable for my 2 night stay. I selected based on location to beach and proximity to Convention center. I really like the cafe and dinner attached to the motel. Service was great.

• Deb (8/5): - The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms are a little outdated, but they were clean. The pool was nice and heated. This is within walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk. The beds were a little uncomfortable but overall, it was a nice place.
• Anthony (10/5): - Excellent stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was heated which was a big deal since the weather during our stay was 68 and cloudy all three days. Front desk girl Simone was so sweet and very accommodating throughout our stay. Thanks!!!
• Sean (2/5): - After 9 PM, there’s absolutely no one to get in touch with. We had to stop everything that we were doing at the boardwalk and race over to check in before 9 PM and then after that the room right below us was having a party and was screaming loud all night until 2-3am. I called a couple times and left a message and Hopefully that’s something would get done, but it never was was very close from calling the cops. Terrible room experience
• Dawn (2/5): - The rooms are very outdated & filthy dirty. The toilet doesn’t flush properly (u have to hold it down for 10 minutes in order for it to flush) and then it makes a loud noise for 10 minutes. The sink/shower faucets have rust all over them, the water comes out aggressively and is a brown color for the first 3-5 seconds. Mirror had mold & rust all over it, bed sheets had dirt & hair. Floors were sticky & visibly dirty. The entire place smelled like mold, they had moisture packs everywhere which made no difference. Don’t let the outside appearance or the restaurant appeal fool you. It’s not worth the money to stay at this place when Wildwood has so many great motels that you can stay at for the same price or maybe even cheaper that are clean, have been updated and will offer a comfortable stay.

• mary (4/5): - I can say the place was very clean. As for everything else…This hotel was nearly empty when all around were not. There is a reason. check in after 4 check out is 10 am. Strictly enforced and you will be reminded of a half day charge if you are late. The beds are not good. Should you not follow the Signage everywhere you will be prosecuted . There was nothing welcoming. I totally understand that people can take advantage and make bad choices on holiday. This place assumes you already done it and worse. No welcoming only what will get u in legal issues. I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere before that made me feel less welcomed when I checked in. Just a bunch of things I can’t do. No, here is your WiFi password or any other amenity. The office closes at 9 pm so after the 4 pm check in I went to dinner. When returned I couldn’t find password anywhere . It was on the table menu that was for local pizza. I didn’t think to look there and The only person to check with was one of the 4 other guest. There is no ice machine. There are 3 floors but no elevator. You are expected to NOT GET SAND BEYOND. THIS POINT. There is no shower. There is a hose directly located with the trash. just not at all pleasant. I did run into the day staff on checkout. They were very friendly and kind. I don’t think whoever owns this place realizes the surrounding hotels, which are all very similar, have a different culture. I have stayed at several. I won’t stay here again.

• Yesenia (10/5): Wildwood vacation. - It was great! Fast Check In. There’s a Birdi Cafe right there on the hote. It so close to the Beach just a block away. Every is near. Restaurants, shopping stores, Gas stations. Even rentals for chairs, scooters, bikes, etc. The convention center is 5min away. We loved it. And can not wait for next year family trip again.

• Shelby (2/5): - We had a horrible check in experience. The older woman working the front desk, had the worst professional manner of anyone I’ve ever met. We arrived a little early, and a man working in the kitchen told us “you see that black door? Knock on the door right inside”. This older woman opened the door and said “what do you need?” In the rudest tone. We walked away after I told her she was very rude. We left and came back at 4pm. When I went to check in, the old woman said to another employee “i just came down with a migraine, I need you to take over” after giving me, my husband, and my ONE YEAR OLD, the dirtiest look. She proceeded to grab her belongings, come back over to the employee she told to check us in, and very loudly, but acting like she was covering her mouth, ask if she was going to have to wait on me at all this weekend, because she did not want to. Which put everyone in the most uncomfortable position, including the poor guy who then had to check us in. We feared the whole weekend that our car was going to get vandalized, we didn’t feel comfortable swimming, eating in the restaurant or shopping in the office. We didn’t even receive housekeeping because we weren’t sure if she was going to harm us or our belongings in some way. The worst experience we ever had at an establishment. We absolutely will not be returning and would love to speak to the owner if available.
• Laurel (10/5): - Tangiers was very accessible to the beach and the boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay and would return next year.

• Tonya (2/5): Worst hotel ever - It was the worst experience eber. No hot water. O want my money back
• Vicky (8/5): Overall good place to stay - We loved the convenient location of the beach and boardwalk and the hotels pool was incredible. 8 feet deep and a fenced off 1 foot end for babies. Our only complaints were the uncomfortable beds and Nonexistent water pressure in the shower and we had an incident with the cleaning woman one day. My fiance was in the shower and I was putting our baby down for a nap and there was a knock at the door and as I was getting up to open the door, the cleaning woman opened the door with a key. I just thought that was unprofessional and we weren’t given a chance to answer before she entered. After that, we left the do not disturb sign on the door for the rest of the stay.

• Luz (10/5): - This was my best stay in Wildwood EVER. Owner was so amazing to my family and made special accomodations for us as I had just recently had a back procedure. I will and have recommended this motel to family and friends and will continue to do so. The efficiency unit was spacious and came stocked with all essentials for my family of four. Thanks for an amazing stay!
• Daniel (8/5): Did the job - Room was so clean. For the price expected more. Bathroom outdated. Squeaky bed. This was a 1 room and kitchenette.
• Amy (4/5): - For 2 days we didn’t have Wifi (was supposed to be free!). We told the staff that the password given was wrong but he insisted that it was correct… We had to use our data to share hotspot with the IPads so we could do some work. There were signs of no smoking but the guy next to our room was sitting in the front of his door smoking. And here we have 2 people with asthma in our party including my 9 y/o son. Luckily I didn’t have an asthma attack! I just had 2 back in November and February that I was on oxygen supplement for 2 months!!! Lastly, there were people screaming and yelling at each other at night right in front of our room. We could hardly sleep. I had to open the door and asked them to quiet down since it was 3:30 in the morning and I had to drive 6hrs home later. The cost for 1 night here is more expensive than 1 night at Sheraton in Atlantic…
• Jhanyramos (8/5): - I am a very sensitive person to light and I could not sleep since the light from outside filtered through the window, it would be advisable that I put a curtain in the room apart from the blind, the bathroom needs an urgent remodeling. it is from my grandmother's time, the shower at first fell tempered water but from one moment to another fell icy water and then suddenly fell boiling water capable of causing burns. the towels were dirty and stained the man of the reception said they did not have that. personal cleaning moment. no longer provide shampoo or conditioner for the guest so they carry theirs
• Asif (6/5): - Place was near the beach. Safe and very convenient.
• Sameer (4/5): - The property was with very basic setup and condition. Not really a good place to stay. Corridors were dirty, room had so many issues, bathroom was not at all good. Overall very disappointed.
• Nora (10/5): - Wonderful place , clean , convenient very good staff :)
• paul (4/5): - The room smelled like a wet basement. They advertise they have wifi, but they dont. The staff was very friendly, but the motel needs major renovations to bring it out of the 70's. It seemed like a miracle everytime it only took one flush of the toilet for everything to go down.
• Ashley (10/5): - The manager was the sweetest lady. Our stay was wonderful and incident free. Perfectly in walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and good food
• Lisa (10/5): - The owner lady was very friendly & was easy check in. The pool area was clean and many areas to sit. They have local radio station playing mildly with music. The only sad part were the beds, very uncomfortable, but when ur exhausted from a day of fun - who cares, your just crashing.
