- Antony (10/5): Perfect in every way. - We had never visited Bourges before but it’s almost exactly half way in our regular drive from London to Barcelona so we thought we’d try Hotel Panette as a stopover. It’s a delightful small friendly establishment in an historic building right in the centre of the old town. They were extremely helpful from the start and during our stay. Very cute room. Comfortable with all the amenities you need. Go for the breakfast hamper it’s excellent. We will definitely stay again.

De plus la proximité du centre culturel et historique est un plus.

- Jorge (4/5): Hôtel à éviter absolument ! - Très mauvaise communication. Impossible de récupérer les cles de ma chambre à mon arrivée ! La raison…l’accueil est fermé à 21h!!! (Pour un hôtel cela est étonnant) Proposition de la personne au téléphone : Payer 27 euros en plus / nuit pour avoir une chambre qui a un digicode et qui est accessible après les heures d’ouverture!! (Cela s’appelle tout simplement du vol) Arrivé dans la chambre : Mobilier vieillot, chambre très sombre, au RDC, vue sur le local poubelles. Le chauffage était bruyant, et j’ai du mettre le thermostat à 27.C pour avoir un peu de chaleur.

Our room, although renovated, retained most most of its 16th century ambience. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom modern. We Will definitely book this hotel If and when we return to Bourges.

Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner juste un panier à récupérer. Par ailleurs j'avais réservé avec ma carte visa qui me sert quotidiennement mais qui a été refusée par le logiciel de ce lieu d'hébergement, j'ai proposé d'annuler ma réservation ce qui a été refuseé par l'hébergeur au prétexte que nous trouverons une solution sur place, sur place le serveur de l'hébergeur (encore une fois CE N'EST PAS UN HOTEL) n'accepte pas ma carte, refus de l'hébergeur de m'acceuillir je me suis retrouver sans lieu d'hébergement. Les responsables sont PARTICULIEREMENT MALHONNETTE et trompe OUVERTEMENT la clientelle. Le lieu est a EVITER ABSOLUMENT

Moi satisfait de la propreté l’aspirateur pas passé, là stationnement très compliqué , pour la chambre la promiscuité avec les autres chambres nous avons subis le bruit des autres chambres toutes la nuit et le parquet qui fait plus de bruit qu’on orchestre. Pour une nuit pas pour une semaine.

- Sarah (8/5): Lovely old building with lots of character. - Lovely old building with lots of character. Just stayed one night on our travels through France. We were on a motorbike (in January) so very pleased to find a warm and cosy apartment to stay in for the night in this interesting building (that was built around 1418 apparently!). Bourges was a lovely city with lots of nice restaurants and bars (but we just had a wander around and then ate in the apartment - which had everything we needed). Only criticism might be that €15 to park a motorcycle for the night seems a little expensive (but often normal in France).

Petite kitchenette très pratique. Très grand téléviseur. Nous sommes restés une nuit, mais n'hésiterons pas à revenir plus longtemps.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf met charme in het centrum - Authentiek charmehotel in het centrum van Bourges. Wij kozen voor de kamer met kitchenette. Ideaal in tijden van corona. Kamer was karaktervol maar voorziene van alle comfort. Ontbijt werd 's morgens op het gewenste tijdstip aan de kamerdeur geleverd. Ontbijt was smaakvol en verzorgd. Enkele parkeerplaatsen op de binnenplaats. Moeilijk toegankelijk met onze grote auto. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goede prijskwaliteitsverhouding. Wij komen hier nog terug.

- Geneviève (10/5): - L'hôtel particulier de Panette est un lieu magnifique hors du temps et très bien restauré en ayant conservé et respecté le style de l'époque ce qui est très important. Le studio Arnoul Belin est agréable mais manque de lumière le soir (surtout partie cuisine). L'accueil est parfait et très chaleureux. Marie est particulièrement à l'écoute des hôtes. Globalement notre séjour a été parfait et nous avons pu visiter Bourges à pied sans prendre la voiture ce qui est fort appréciable.

- Robin (10/5): Gorgeous, historic - We stayed in the Panette apartments and could not have been happier. The place was gorgeous, spotless, huge and comfortable. Didn’t hurt that they mysteriously upgraded us! Note you must checkin by 7pm...we respected this limitation and had a wonderful stay!

Kitchen, air-conditioning, comfortable bed, collect excellent breakfast. Those with ancient legs should inquire about the number of stairs. Really interesting hotel. Ideally placed.

- JoseMML (10/5): A very charming medieval hotel. - Once you manage to get your car into the courtyard through the rather narrow car entrance, you find yourself in a rather magical place. It has charm in abundance and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It couldn't be better located, right in the center of Bourge.

- D.A. (10/5): Lovely period building in medieval area of Bourges - This was a great find, and the staff was extremely hospitable. The only snag we encountered was a leaking toilet seal that left the bathroom with an unpleasant odor. The management indicated a plumber had been scheduled to make the repair. When we have the opportunity to further explore Bourges, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
- Vincent (8/5): Bien - Chambre d'hôte dans un très bel établissement style manoir en plein centre historique de Bourges. Décoration d'époque avec des objets anciens. Les chambres donnent sur la cour intérieure au calme. L'accueil est charmant et le petit déjeuner parfait. Seuls quelques petits détails pourraient être améliorés (joints de la douche un peu noircis, barre de douche cassée, vmc sans grille au plafond), mais cela reste du détail.
- Anna (8/5): Electricity problem - Our electricity went out in the evening. We had no number to call for emergencies and the desk closed earlier that day. We went to bed without lights and unable to charge our phones. In the morning we let a staff member know and they reset the circuit. There needs to be a way to contact a staff member 24/7.
- Peter (8/5): Good hotel with loads of charm - Second time we've stayed in this hotel which offers rooms in the main building, but also well equipped self-catered apartments which are very close to the main building. The hotel is located within only a few minutes of the cathedral of Bourges, and is therefore very central so had a great location.
