Guest Reviews
- Patrick (8/5): Perfect for the money - Clean and quiet
- Lueken (8/5): - Very clean
- Mike (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - It’s always a pleasure staying there. I absolutely love them, sweetest most kind people I’ve come across in a long time
- Jerry (4/5): Meh. - Lobby did not smell clean. Cooking or food smell was strong. Keycard worked until. Returned about midnight then I couldn’t get in my room.
AC unit in room was very loud.
- Dave (10/5): Excellent Alternative to Nashville - I was impressed with the location, and it was far enough away from Nashville.
- Kaleb (10/5): - It gives grandmas house spare room vibes
Gives you a comfort feeling
- Barbara (2/5): ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE - Deerfield Inn and Suites was so awful I could not even stay in the room. No refund was offered. The worst hotel I haveEVER BEEN IN.
- santhosh (8/5): - The place was okay the host was good person
- Gupton (10/5): Exceptional - Great people. Clean rooms. Quite enough to be in the country but still only 20 min from downtown nashville. Highly recommend
- Richard (5/5): Passable -
- Ginnifer (1/5): Charged for damage that we didn’t do. Police said they do this all the time -
- Richard (5/5): Passable - Heater stopped at 4AM day 3, had to call to find out how to set control for re-start--no instructions for that.
Day 3 had to phone for replacement clean linen & towels. Soap & shampoo not replaced. Used linen/towels not removed.
- Brittany (10/5): Pleasent - Close to highway Hard beds
- Stephany (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice surprise - It was surprisingly clean and comfortable. Basic motel and great price.
- Ami (8/5): Very good -
- Connie (6/5): - Ok for the price
- Chandler (10/5): - 💯
- Shawn (2/5): - They dont even open their lobby doors at all. Offer nothing. We checked in and rhwn figured that the air unit wasnt workimg properly. Went to the front and he wasnt very helpful at first. They were foreigner that didnt speak very good english. The beds were verh hard. The lighting was very yellow and old. The lock on the door was broken. The water wasnt warm at all. We had to take cold showers. Right next to the highway and you hear every car that goes by. They offer no coffee or anything at all for the room. Overall the only thing that this motel had going for it was we didnt see any bugs. Very disappointed and will not be back.
- Rose (7/5): Good -
- Bradford (7/5): Good -
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Cristobal (10/5): - Great
- Noreen (2/5): - Customers are locked out of lobby at night in 30 degree weather; paid for 2 nights but my door access card had to be reloaded after 1st night; card technology failed; commode stopped up; no alarm click. Felt like foreign managers were terrified to deal with American public, felt like racism to me. Was displaced after tornado made my home unlivable. Did not need to be disrespected and rudely treated by this manager.
- Angie (9/5): As I stated above: - The staff were all incredibly friendly and eager to assist with anything we needed during our stay. The facilities were stocked and clean, and there was plenty of FREE parking. I also really appreciated the receptionist allowing us a late check-in to our room. The only reason I'm not giving a "10" rating is because there was NO ICE in the ice machine for the duration of our stay (which ended up being 3 full days and nights. We were originally only booked for 1 day, but added to that since we were pleased with the accomodations. Everything was , I'd stay again, and I'd recommend Deerfield Inn to my closest friends/ family members The only complaint either of us had was the ice machine having no ice for the duration of our stay.
- Keith (10/5): Thank you - Very friendly. Clean big room. would stay again. Convenient location.
- Charlie (9/5): Great stay! Would use them again. - Great value for the money and very close to where we were visiting. When called house keeping they were very quick to respond and very friendly. Nobody at the front desk. Door always locked. Had to use a phone outside to get someone to help you. On several occasions nobody came so had to go back to the room and call on hotel phone to get someone. One of the bed quilts smelled when we arrived but no other issues with the room or hotel.
- Timothy (6/5): Bad vibes - At 4 pm arrived, photos on line look better. Office locked directed by sign to call after hrs window sign threw the slot (schetchee as heck) Hotel almost empty but host put us on highway side - so not cool unless you enjoy traffic noise. After this was supprised room clean but dated . Once was so more then enough golly.
- Taylor (1/5): Close this place down - Nothing Everything just name it.
- Linda (4/5): - Way below standards of the Deerfield Inns & Suites brand! The room smelled. The bed was hard as a rock with a super thin mattress that was too low to the floor and the pillows were like pancake thin. No tissues, hair dryer or ironing board & iron. Exactly just one towel, wash clothe and handtowel per person and not even a floor mat for the shower so when you stepped out of the shower you where on a slippery tile floor (very dangerous). The shower head was rediculous and basically useless the way it sprayed. The lobby door remained locked so you could not even enter untill someone unlocked it after you called on the phone at the 'night window' even in broad daylight!! Very sub par for the brand.
- Stacey (6/5): Pleasant - no breakfast offer free breakfast
- Rose (5/5): Uncomfortable and lack good customer service - It was acceptable in a pinch. Needs updating throughout the property. Will not stay there ….
Last resort
- Shetani (2/5): - The night manager was rude.He kept trying to say my room was canceled although I spot with a lady earlier in the day and she stated everything was good. There was little red bugs he stated they weren’t bed bugs when we killed one and took it to the front desk.It was late and the police was pulling everybody over so we took our bags back to the car and slept in our clothes but threw them away when we woke up.
- Lori (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay! We were on a long road trip, and accommodations here allowed for a great shower, rest and relaxation!
- Jason (8/5): - Very convenient
- Amanda (10/5): - Very sweet owners. Peaceful.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Very sweet couple runs it. Always working with us.
- Frank (10/5): - This was right off the highway & we got a room on the highway side. Even with that, once the air conditioning was on, we only heard the occasional Big Pick-Em-Up Truck & even then it wasn’t so bad. Excellent room, clean, friendly service. Would certainly stay there again.
- Amanda (10/5): - The owner's were really sweet and kind. Helped us in a time a need. Will go back to them in the future.
- Ruth (8/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- Micah (10/5): - It was old and basic. But it was cheap and the owners were very kind. It was incredibly clean and quiet! Close to nashville, and so much cheaper!
- John (10/5): - It was quiet and only 20 minutes to nissan stadium. Beautiful setting
- Ashley (10/5): - It was amazing. The host was extremely friendly and she knew me by my name. The room was clean.
- Shirley (8/5): - It was very convenient to our family that we were visiting.
- Robert (8/5): - The toilet paper is so thin that quadrupling it still wasn't enough.
- Kathy (10/5): see above. - close to our house. our power was out 7 days and we stayed there 4 of the 6 night. greatest thing was close to home and got to check on our own home staff very friendly and courteous to us.
- Nelson (5/5): It was decent for the price -
- John (10/5): - Excelente bed
- Frank (3/5): Average for a motel. - No breakfast 😢, just 2 cups of coffee. The ceiling fan had at least 2 inches of dust on it. Plus the other bed had a strange bug crawling up on the blanket when I was waking up.
- Levi (1/5): I was only there a couple of hours and after I witness the bugs, I left - It was in greenbrier They had bugs and I left after a few hours of staying there and it took a week for me to get my money bsck
- Gerald (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful manager.
- Jennifer (10/5): - It’s quite and very friendly and nice!
- Marc (6/5): - The beds were stiff, the pillows were just plan flat. They all worried about Covid still yet the key card holders /sleeves have been reused over and over. Attitude of the front desk was piss poor. For the price I paid for the room, it wasn't worth 1 night there.
- Michael (2/5): - False advertisement. No breakfast. Hard bed. Old TV. Thin walls. Bad wifi. Outdated and over priced. I dont recommend.
- Nick (2/5): - The person that i got the room for was unable to check in and was treated poorly
- Bradley (6/5): - People at the desk reluctant to let you in to sigh in to get your room.
- Austin (2/5): - It was ok
- Talanna (8/5): - great for a one night stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A good basic place to stay in a rural area, outside of town. Good for worker stays. Not close to anything but a reliable place to sleep.
- Hayley (10/5): - Great customer service. Clean room, and it’s one level so you don’t have to worry about people above you.
- annette (10/5): - The management and cleanliness🙂
- Brandi (6/5): - This location is a little outdated but for the price it is ok for a few nights but nothing long term. Very outdated room decor and room smelled like an old folks home.
- Tracy (6/5): - The ice machine was broken, the phone did not work the TV was green & fuzzy & the soap they left for us to use was open.
- Carl (6/5): - Motel staff seemed to be very concerned about COVID. Couldn't enter lobby. Had to stand outside by window in heat during check-in. I would have left if I hadn't prepaid. Room was OK but my wife thought it had a smell. Some bugs but they are a problem everywhere this time of year; nothing in bed just on bathroom floor.
- Jimmy (10/5): - Very nice people.front desk man was extremely helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was in a good location and the owner was very friendly. A very quiet place to stay.
- Kendra (4/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was fine. The only thing i dont like is getting charged twice im billed when i make the reservations and i get charged again when i get to hotel. Then i have to go to my credit card company and get it straighten out would be nice not to have to do that
- Dennika (6/5): Nope nope - Not to clean the walls had water damage. Room very stuff and had a smell.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Little outdated but half the price of moteels down the road i will come back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I had to stay here when snow and ice was predicted for our area. This was my home away from home for 6 days. Everything and everyone was wonderful.
- Pat (10/5): - Just your basic hotel nothing fancy. Room a little outdated but will do for a good night rest. Very quite.Only problem was the ice machine did not work. Would stay there again.
- Kathy (8/5): - Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrible no ac bed hard horrible service giing to my room and shutting my things off didnt like
- deron (10/5): Joelton Tennessee - Friendly staff ,breakfast great, clean room, going back again tonight.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Next time will book through them. Lots of trouble through 3rd party....
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Basic motel. Dated furniture, TV and ceiling fan with a very firm mattress! No breakfast provided.
- Diane (8/5): - Didn't like soaps provided thank god they left 2 shampoos no suds. Towels have def been there a while. But the housekeeper was friendly at check out. The owner who checked us in Very friendly.. Very quite. We went for a kid free night and will be going again
- Jess (8/5): - A little dated..but clean and quiet. Beds were comfy enough. Would stay there again.
- Judy (8/5): - The location was exactly what we were looking for! Close by our destination and easy access from the highway.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - how clean it was and how friendly the staff was. How easy the check in process was!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very old, motel not Inn and Suites. Wouldn’t suggest a stop there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place will fool you. Looks bland on the ourside but actually very nice on the inside. Great batheoom with hot shower and good pressure. Large commodes. Only thing a little off was the old style TV. Great place to stay.
- Lloyd (4/5): - When I went to check in and the lobby door was locked with a sign saying " ring bell or use outdoor phone' if I wanted to check in, that it was a bad sign. And while the property brought back good childhood memories of trips to grandma's, thats where the goid stopped.
NO pool. NO annenities ( a 2 cup coffee maker and microwave barely big enough to heat a single slice of pizza doesn't cut it ) Outdated furnishings. Near threadbare bed spread. Pillows too thin and worn out. Old style box TV. with RCA jacks. No USB or MHDI to be found. Dust n dirt so thick under and coating the back of the TV it was ready for potato planting. Looking behind night stands, dresser and love seat it equally filthy. You could see the smudge streaks clearly All over the mirrors. Bar soap so thin i mistook it for a packet of crackers. If there were ice machines or vending machines on propery we couldn't find them. And when i went to office to return my room key, the guy inside didnt even open unlock the door so i could go in. Instead he unblocked a tiny pass thru slot in the wall for me to pass it to him. No Thank You- Did you enjoy your stay- Nothing! After taxes that " Only 1 left at this rate " room jumped in price another $10+ dollars. If anything, it should have reduced that much. Next time I'll drive the extra mile n a half and go to a chain hotel/motel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not Bad - Average
- Verified traveler (2/5): BEDBUGS - Passing through for work, 1 night stay. Wound up with bedbugs. I have pictures of the bugs in my clothes. Called the hotel, less than 3 hours after leaving to tell them (I had bites by then) and was told “no, we no bedbugs, sorry”.
- Jennifer (6/5): Great value - The manager/ owner was very helpful and attentive. Reasonably quiet.
- Tammie (2/5): Bummer at Christmas - Could not even register bc the guy at the front desk would not let my sister and her husband stay in the room I booked for them.
- Jessy (8/5): - Hotel stay was great had some issues with my first room staff helped me right away with no issues they are wonderful would recommend this hotel will definitely come back
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I wish I could give a better review because the staff was so friendly but upon entering our room we found multiple dead cockroaches. The place seemed clean enough but the experience was just unsettling. The staff was very friendly about giving us a refund.
- RC (8/5): - Need better TVs. But overall it was a nice motel. I will stay there again.
- Miles (8/5): A good stop to layover for a few hours. - The motel was nice for a few hours sleep.. rooms could use a lil updating but the room was clean. Bed was a lil stiff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pretty clean, nice staff, weird wifi but worked out.
- Kimberly (8/5): - We found this a nice place to say. Nice, easy check in and out. It was exactly what I expected for the price I paid and the location it is at. The place was clean and decent.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok but away from everything. Minimal amenities. - Pros: super friendly and welcoming checkin. Quiet - very quiet! Air was on in room and comfortable on arrival.
Cons: no breakfast of any sort, just ok beds, not really comfortable, located in the middle of nowhere - remote - away from everything. Felt it was a bit high for location amenities offered.
- T (4/5): - Smelled moldy, comforter had holes in it. Killed some type bug in the bed. Left in middle of night..didnt stay for checkout... The attendant was a nice guy tho
- Mark (8/5): - This is an older hotel in a more rural area. The hotel is a great value for the money. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the area is quiet. The TV channel selection is very good. The wireless Internet speed is great - I measured 16 Mbps download speed. The TV is an older non-widescreen TV, but as I said, there is a good channel selection, and if you bring a tablet or laptop, the bandwidth allows for good streaming to your device.
- Everett (6/5): - Power outage. No lights, air. Good thing we had flashlights
