- Jennifer (9/5): Perfect for what I was there for - The hotel is literally the most beautiful hotel in the entire area of wildwood. Everything was clean. I definitely want to come again. There were only two things I did not like. One was the parking. He had snow taking up three of the parkings out in the front where my room was so I never got to park in front of my actual room. I always had to park in the back. I also do not like the way the back is set up. It looks like in the summer that parking lot must get really hectic and inconvenient. Another thing was my daughter and I were trying to walk to a restaurant, but there’s like nothing in walking distance that we could find open. It’s also winter time, but we had to order and got it delivered.

Spoke to front desk after first day and was told they would have maintenance look at it. Day two, another cold shower. When we spoke to front desk again they said sorry. Sorry doesn't cut it when you are paying $350 a night. Front desk didn't really care and told us to take it up with booking.com.

DJ music at pool so loud, you can't even have a. Conversation. I didn't like how you would never know that the Royal tower wasn't renovated like the Ocean tower.
- CHRISTINE (8/5): My stay was very relaxing. Everyone at the Madison was friendly. - I liked the size of the pool and pool area. The DJ's kept everyone entertained. It was nice to have the shuttle service and not have to move our car (the drivers were very nice). I liked that there was a place to buy something to eat on site and the large outside eating area and I liked that there was a park accross the street with bike rentals. I did not like that there wasn't a local grocery store or deli to walk to. I also thought the pool water was a little too warm.

Location was also fantastic. The loud music at the pool and the first floor rooms being directly in front of the pool. - Amber (1/5): Wrong room - Room was supposed to be ready at 4, it wasn’t ready until 5 so we had to wait and hour, also we Booked a suite ( room with 2 beds and a living room) and was given a studio room with one bed, was not offered any type of accommodation. We were told “we’re fully booked so idk what to tell you”. resulting in having to drive home for 3 hours. Don’t understand why they would try and place us in a room that cost less then what we paid for assuming we’d eat the price difference. Manager also hid from us and wouldn’t come out and talk with us. Stay away from this place

We didn't use the shuttles to Wildwood or Cape May, but that's a great feature. The restaurant near the pool was very convenient. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and creaked a lot. The bathroom door creaked loudly which was disturbing, especially during the night.

I didn’t like how expensive it was for an older hotel In Wildwood Crest. I didn’t like the “resort fee” sprung on me after I already payed the balance. The elevator is so tiny and very slow. The staff did help us get an elevator down faster but even they were surprised on how long we were waiting with all of our luggage. The shuttle service was incredible and came in clutch when traveling to the boardwalk/restaurants. The cleanliness of the rooms was amazing. We also really enjoyed how a team was at the beach ready with some umbrellas and seats for us. Ice machine on the second floor was broken at that time

Location in general very nice. The parking was tricky. We had to park on the street a few times because the line at parking was too long. The pool area was very crowded and some of the rooms seemed to house too many people for the size.

- Erica (1/5): Our stay was just okay. Would not stay again. - Property on the beach. Room was very small for a family of 4 with luggage. Room was not cleaned well. Pool was closed for maintenance for our only 2 sunny days, staff not friendly. My friend’s car got hit in the valet lot.

- Mike (2/5): Find a better place to stay - It was close to the beach Room was dirty, bath tub was dirty, toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, what looked like mold growing on the ac register, parking is tight and people didn't care to park in the lines causing the spot next to them to not be useable, dog friendly which we thought they would have had a dedicated floor or area of the hotel but no, people brought dogs in and left them in rooms and they barked all night, people smoking weed on the balconies which made it impossible for my wife and I to enjoy sitting on our balcony, staff told us housekeeping was on a request basis only but they went into our room anyways, no do not disturb hanger in our room for the door. Way too expensive for rooms that were poorly redone, gaps in ceiling tiles, knobs missing from cabinet doors, uncomfortable beds, rust stains in bathroom along with holes in walls. We watched from our balcony the staff at madison inn ocean tower leave laundry carts in their parking lot without being secured, we watched about 5 cars get hit badly from the carts getting pushed by the wind into the cars. Staff would just grab the carts and put them back in the same spots, they didn't even check the cars for damage and some of them got hit so hard the carts bounced off of the cars.

- Lisa (7/5): Adequate - Location was good. Shower took several minutes for water to go from freezing cold to warm and then the water pressure was very very low. Only 1 light in living room area , none by the desk and mirtor above desk was really dirty. Coffed table looked old and beat up.

- Melissa (10/5): Pet Friendly with a Beautiful Ocean View! - On the beach!!! The view from every window in our unit had a beautiful view of the ocean. Highly recommend! We were on the 5th floor. Pet friendly and very clean with laminate flooring. There is a park a short distance away that my pups loved. The staff were both helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning. Nothing.

- Jenny (8/5): Adorable, affordable and fun spot! - Cost & location! The bathrobes were a nice touch. The beachy vibe and retro type microwave and fridge style were fun. Everything was clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable! The additional living room area with a pull out couch bed was perfect for my son! (Although the matress on that bed was very thin) sleeping on the couch directly might be a more comfortable option. All in all a very great little spot to stay! (Especially if you're in town for a Coast Guard graduation! It was about 10min from the training center) Our room phone wasn't connected so we couldn't call down to the front desk. Had to look up the hotel # and call down on my cell phone. We weren't given any paperwork, wifi password, or check-out time upon check-in. Just our keys. People were quite loud rolling suitcases and talking at midnight. In the morning, around 8am very loud music was playing. It was Saturday, so not a huge deal.

- Ashley (5/5): - Great location, beautiful/clean. I didn’t like the fact that since there was a private event happening all weekend that we were not allowed to enjoy the amenities or the restaurant. We had no place to eat in our room and were unable to sit outside by the fire pits (which were the biggest reason we wanted to stay here) so we had to take our 2 small children out to a restaurant instead. We paid the same amount of money as everyone else but we felt like punished teenagers who weren’t allowed out of our rooms. VERY disappointed
- Jim Fitzgerald (10/5): Beautiful beachfront hotel with clean, cozy rooms nearby to both Cape May and Wildwood boardwalk. - This is a beautiful hotel with rooms facing the beach. We were on the first floor so we just stepped out our door, down a few steps, and we were on the beach! The patio and pool area is also very nice and a great place to relax. There was a $50 resort fee that we didn't know about or missed in the description when we booked. It was still a good value and this certainly didn't ruin our experience, but it was definitely a surprise.

Freundlicher Empfang. Leider gab es im Zimmer keinen Tisch/Essmöglichkeit. Wir haben uns jedoch mit dem Tisch / den Stühlen VOR dem Zimmereingang auf der Gangway abgeholfen und dies kurzerhand INS Zimmer gebracht.

There was no staff after 11 pm, and no one returned my after-hours calls. I had to sleep at another hotel at 1 am. I was told I’d be refunded for that night but never received it. Very poor experience. Please process the refund.
