• Earlyn (8/5): Moderato - Tutto conforme hotel in condizioni molto discrete un po’ datato ma tutto apposto pulizia impeccabile solo da migliorare la colazione… consiglierei di offrire più delle torte o crostate al meno caserecce essendo piemontese… non dei prodotti industriali che finiscono sprecati

• Roberto (4/5): - Back to past! Sembra di tornare negli anni 70, albergo vecchio, camere orribili, dagli infissi ai mobili, bagno compreso, piccolo, e con sanitari e doccia d'altri tempi. La pulizia lascia a desiderare, ma il personale è stato, per quel poco che abbiamo avuto a che fare, molto disponibile. Le porte si aprono a stento con la chiave, che fa fatica ad entrare nella serratura, insomma, un'esperienza da dimenticare.
• marton (10/5): By far the best value you will find by the Lake - Absolute amazing price/value. Amazing Pool. Super Friendly reception and housekeeping! Everything is spotless clean! The interior of the rooms are old but still perfectly functional and well kept. For this price to be so near to the lake and also to Milan is unbeatable and the beautiful pool is just a huge added bonus. The breakfast is not continental but "italian" and you have to know, italians basically eat some small sweet pastry and a cappucino for breakfast. So dont expect eggs, cheese, veggies or anything like that. But it is still OK and the lady who runs the breakfast and reception is a true delight, very kind and helpful.

• Julie Andrea (6/5): Udmærket hotel med pool - Dejligt, stort værelse. Poolen så fin og ren ud. Morgenmaden var elendig, men dén kan man jo spise andetsteds. Hotellet om faciliteterne var ganske fine til prisen.
• Olena (6/5): - The quality of the rooms did not match the photographs. The first 10 minutes in the room were a bit unsettling as I noticed rust and a creaky floor, as if the room hadn't been renovated in 100 years. However, since our plan was to only spend the nights there and the rest of the time at the Lake, I decided not to look for other options. The bedding and towels were clean, which was important to me. One of the unpleasant aspects was the staff who got offended by simple questions like "Where can I find a bowl for cereal?" They pointed to one bowl and said, "There it is," but when I mentioned that we needed two more because there were three of us, they made snide remarks while reluctantly fetching the additional bowls. It was disheartening to have such encounters, and it made me lose my appetite for cereal when they practically threw the plates. Overall, the hotel did not meet my expectations in terms of room quality and staff behavior. And the location of the hotel saved the situation!

• Dartagnan (6/5): Just ok - The hotel needs updating. It has an old character/charm in the rooms but the lobby was newer. Not what i was expecting. The heat in the room was radiator, and would not really heat the room. It slightly leaked at the knob to open the valve. Good location for where i needed to go, but i would not have picked this hotel to stay on site for rest and relaxing

• Verified traveler (4/5): Maybe a good place 40-50 yrs ago! - Really old hotel in a really quite city/village! I doubt that people can stay for more than a night on their way to Milan. I suggest to the owner to downsize the property so they can afforrd investing on renovating the place. With that size of the hotel and that condition, soon you will be out of business in the era of social media and Internet, because you will not receive good reviews and then you will not receive many guests and thus you will not be profitable for a long time (if you are at all now!). For me, that is more a business challenge to take the hotel and convert it to a more profitable and pleasent business, but I doubt the owner has the willing or ability to do so.

• philipmills1120 (8/5): Comfortable hotel - Stayed here for four nights during a business trip. Staff are very friendly and welcoming rooms are basic but has everything you require. Breakfast is no thrills but I think this is what most hotels offer. Internet works well and is complimentary. For the price it’s good value

• clatre32 (10/5): Great place for a stay around lake D'Orta - Only 5 minutes drive from Orta San Giulio, directly on the lake, this hotel was a great find. Swimming pool with toys for the kids, good breakfast and nice and clean rooms! I was there with my daughter and there was a great atmosphere even around the pool. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are definitely used to have visitors and kids. The swimming pool requires a swim cap, but they are available at the hotel. Parking is pretty big and secure inside the hotel perimeter.
• pinot-francis (10/5): Warm welcome, wide pool and gourmet restaurant - We've been there on first half ofAugust, family of 5 people plus dog, such a nice place to stand for mora than just a couple of days: warm friendly owner and staff, great restaurant with also daily menu. Wifi is free, and also a wide parking area. Good price, room comfortable even for three people.
