Harleen (4/5): - Entrance of the hotel is not easy to find, no Valet Service and Concierge Service is offered until you ask the receptionist. I stayed in loft room for 3 days and 2 nights. Room’s view was good, and the room was very spacious. But it’s AC duct had certain smell. Washrooms too were nice and spacious. However, shower area’s floor caulking on glass separation is ineffective to retain water leaking in other areas of the bathroom and it becomes a puddle. Main reason to book this place was Alt Rooftop restaurant which was a great bummer. Website didn’t mentioned it’s closed. 2nd reason was swimming pool and it was closed too. Common washroom is on the rooftop and very dirty. Staff is very helpful, although it felt employee shortage. Food is expensive and average.

My cutbacks are for the breakfast that was more than poor for a 5-star hotel. Little choice and a bored staff. Until now, I did not have such a service in other hotels in Bangalore. This hotel is highly overpriced compared to the quality. I spent several weeks in this hotel.

juan carlos (6/5): Waverly! - Our stay was good! The pool and breakfast are great! Our housekeeper, Eshiya, was really helpful and friendly. We did book a couple of excursions through the hotel and were surprised with pricing - would recommend that you confirm numbers before proceeding. The gym is mediocre and would be great if additional machines were added. Lots of attentive staff and surrounded by malls with lots of food options.
Julie (10/5): Wow at the Waverly! - We stayed at the Waverly for an extended stay while my husband was working in the tech center. We chose this location so that he could walk to work or commute easily given the feedback we heard on Bangalore Traffic. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff was very attentive to our needs. They helped us plan/coordinate drivers for our excursions and answered the many questions we had. The location is surrounded by two malls - very Western feel. However, walking there are a number of neighborhoods and locals to get a better understanding of the area. It is about 45-60 minutes driving to get to a lot of the well-known spots in Bangalore - again we compromised on staying farther away from this due to the convenience of the commute for work. There are a ton of restaurants in both malls so plenty of dining options as well as options at the hotel: Alt and The Whitefield Arms. The spa, Bounce, also provided for a good relaxation day during the week. The pool is on the roof top and is heated! It was a great way to relax and escape some of the hustle/bustle of the city. Overall, we would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Yukio (10/5): Location, location, and location - The room I stayed was loft and this is my second stay in this hotel. The room is roomy and clean. Don't feel like you are staying in a hotel but like you are at home. The room has a kitchen and washer/dryer which is convenient too. I really like this hotel since it sits above the mall (HIVE mall) and right next to the Phoenix mall (biggest mall in the Whitefield). It's really convenient to do dinning and shopping. The staff are very friendly. I needed to shop silver bells and did not know where to buy and asked the hotel staff, Rahul. He did not only help me to find the store in the mall but also took me the store and helped me what I was looking for. Excellent customer service!

Sunil (10/5): Great location with friendly staff - Location is amazing. Inside VR mall and adjacent to Phoenix market city. Rooms are well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was also good. I was able to check out a bit late by 3 hrs without any additional charges. The staff is very friendly, especially Aamir and Sarita. Would definitely visit again to have a good experience.
Patrick (8/5): Great old style hotel with modern amenities - I chose to stay at the Waverly due to proximity to my company's office. Some of the bigger brand name hotels were way to far away (1 hour in traffic). I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with great service. The staff is super attentive. It has a very British colony vibe. Laundry service is great, and comes back in the same day. The room service menu is limited, but good enough for business travel. The best part of the hotel is location. It is right smack in the middle of two nice shopping malls that you can walk over to within 1 minute. Not that I travel India to go shopping for western brands, but it is night to have the feeling of "commerce" so close. I've stayed at many hotels throughout my business travels to India in the past 10 years, and many times the hotels are secluded and you can't walk off the campus...so I like the freedom of the Waverly to walk out the front door and head over for shopping (mall walking exercise). The gym is not that great, but there is one.

Food in malls next to hotel was ok, but I got sick two evenings eating there. The first time in many trips I got ill. I will probably go back to taj vivante that has a large and comprehensive buffet with a few nice restaurants on site.

Yukio (8/5): Specious Room & Great Location - I was very pleased to stay this hotel. The room was specious and very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the biggest mall in Bangalore. Also, the hotel itself is above the other mall. Pretty of restaurants in the mall and lots of stores including Starbucks. The restaurant in the hotel serves decent food. I was happy with it. (however, they serve steak but I don't recommend to order it. I did and I regret it because the meat was not fresh and it smelled a bit) One complain about this hotel while I was staying there was that the internet speed was slow and dropped several times every day. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel!

I definitely enjoyed the breakfast area at the Whitefield Arms and definitely appreciated having a direct path to the VR mall whenever I needed. The staff were all super helpful as well, and I never had to stand for very long to wait for an Uber, since the person at the front would take down the plate number and come get me when it was near. Overall service was top-notch, with a great and clean room, and great amenities. I also thought that the little desserts in the room were a nice touch! We got brownies and cakes in our 2-night stay.

Grinch1949 (8/5): Five Star standard but not swanky! - I stayed for 5 nights at The Waverly. The Waverly was everything it said on the tin. The rooms are comfortable, large and airy, the decor is tasteful without being ostentatious. The dining facilities at The Whitefield Arms and Toscano are excellent and compare well with restaurants in London. The chief selling point of The Waverly is undoubtedly its staff. They are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and work together as a team. The success of The Waverly looks to be of real importance to them and this is reflected in their attitude.

MB (4/5): Disappointing stay - I stayed for three days and chose a suite room, unfortunately I could not find the service or help of the hotel members. I ordered food from the room service and paid the amount from the ATM card and after deducting the amount, the employee asks me to pay the amount again due to technical failure !!! It was a loss of time and money. The only thing that helped me stay in the hotel was the Phoenix Marketcity mall .

John (8/5): 15-20 mins from Whitefield - Ask reception for vouchers for the restaurants and spa. Michael & Mentesh and their friendly team in the restaurant and also the General Manager of the hotel Narren plus the reception team were very concerned and happy to make my stay as pleasant as possible. You must try the Indian Fusion Lamb shank and the sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast was mostly small cakes and muffins as everything is cooked to order from the menu (a bit of an issue if you get up late and need to rush however when I told the staff they rushed to make my scrambled eggs or American pancakes) try the Assam tea without milk and sugar. Great roof top clean pool. The bottom of my room door had a gap so the noise carried into the room from other guests and staff closing doors at night

Offered a free airport pickup as well. My comments are the Aircon in my room didn't seem to be adjustable, so sometimes it got too cold. They provide drinking water in 500ml bottles. So I had to request quite often for more but it's all complimentary. Just suggestion to provide bigger bottles maybe.
Justin (8/5): Amazing staff and lovely room - Lovely clean room but amenities were all part of the shopping centre. Breakfast, food, spa, gym were actually shops conn ct d to the hotel - a little weird. Amazing staff and service. Would stay again
Celine (8/5): Clean hotel and convenient for my meetings - All the amenities are outside of the hotel in a shopping mall... restaurant for breakfast, spa and gym. Nice hotel and friendly staff but location is not the best.
Amish (8/5): Nice stay - The hotel is very nice but the breakfast buffet needs to be expanded. Also the Tribe gym is nice but does not have treadmills. I've stayed at the Ritz, JW Mariott, Gardenia, etc. and the rooms are every bit as nice but much bigger. Worth a try if you need to stay in the area.
