• Annika (10/5): Perfect beach location, lovely bungalow, great service and food - We just absolutely loved it. Yes, the path there can be hard if you don’t have the physique or if you have big luggage, but we found the way better than excpected, and once we arrived it was nothing but a paradise. We were the only/last people staying before the place is closing for summer. We got the best bungalow, and great treatment. The restaurant is absolutely amazing! As they advertise, no palm oil nor msg used. We tried so many foods and ended up loving all of them. And the beach… probably the most beautiful beach I’ve been to. Some might not like it, but we did - We had 4 huge lizzards in our bungalow, but caused no harm (other than they pooped on me 😂), it was lovely to watch them go. Bungalow was spacious and had a big terrace. Thank you so much for the lovely hospitality! If we ever have the chance, we’d come again. For those reading, do not bother coming with a suitcase, a backpack only!!! The jungle trek is steep and has plenty of rocks and roots, no possibility to come to the hotel with a suitcase. 😊

La tente n’est pas vraiment propre et difficile à entretenir si on reste plusieurs jours. Mon ami est tombé malade (intoxication alimentaire) dès le premier repas consommé dans le restaurant de l'hôtel se qui lui a gâché son sejour sur l'île. Les toilettes et la douche sont vraiment précaires pour le prix que nous avons payé. Le lieux est agréable mais trop cher par rapport aux autres business de l'île.

• Daniel (10/5): - Fantastic Khmer cousine at their restaurant, best I experienced in my trip! Great location, nice bay, excellent snorkeling towards the left as you enter the water. Easy to walk to Saracen bay or to Lazy beach (worth a trip), 30 mins max towards each, but the little walk up required either way might be taxing in the high noon heat. Free paddle boards! Don't expect luxury, but you're reading the description anyhow :) Wifi works in the restaurant, eldomly it reaches elsewhere.

• Gracie (10/5): A beautiful, wholesome place where you’ll stay for much longer than you’d planned. - I liked everything about it here. We booked 2 nights and ended up staying for 11. The staff were so friendly and incredibly welcoming. We made great friends with the staff. Special mention to the bartenders !! It really felt like paradise here. Free paddle boards and snorkelling equipment, books, lovely food, amazing vibes. I’d recommend getting here by boat unless you’re happy to walk through a jungle path. If you need help the owner/ staff will help with booking travel there and onward travel. Nothing!!

• Laurence (10/5): Hôtel au bout du monde, le rêve - On se croirait au bout du monde et c'est un peu le cas. Plage magnifique, déconnexion totale. Le chemin pour accéder à l'hôtel est sportif avec les sacs mais il est possible de prendre un taxi-boat à l'embarcadère de l'autre côté de l'île. Les bungalows font vraiment robinsons, ce que nous étions venus chercher. Très bon resat avec cuisine locale

Les tentes sont très grandes et confortables, et la vue depuis les transats est exceptionnelle, au premier plan pour un coucher de soleil. L'offre de restauration est très bonne, avec un large choix de cuisine locale autant pour les petits déjeuners, que les autres repas !! Paddle et masque tubas à dispo gratuitement :)

• Thomas (8/5): Robinson Crusoe Feeling vom andern Stern - Wer auf diese Insel kommt und an den Sunset Beach und dann noch zu Robinson der wird meist schweren Herzens wieder gehen wollen. Wer es Basic mag, die Abgeschiedenheit liebt und an einem Traumstrand abchillen will, der ist hier genau richtig und kann es in vollen Zügen geniesen. Wie hätten es noch einige Zeit länger hier aushalten können. Das Personal war freundlich, der Besitzer immer hilfsbereit. Das Essen war super lecker, wir wollten gar nicht richtig woanders hingehen. Robinson ist auch die schönste Lage an diesem Strand weil es offen ist und leicht den Hang am ende des Strandes hochgeht. Super schönes Erlebnis wo wir auf jeden Fall mal wieder vorbeischauen werden. Pour y venir a pieds, le lieu se mérite, ne venez pas avec des valises. Sac a dos obligatoire. La plage est très belle. Au coucher du soleil soyez prudents avec les mouches de sable même assis dans une chaise longue.Couvrez vous.

• Margaux (9/5): On a adoré ! - L’expérience est fabuleuse, nous sommes coupées du monde, pleine déconnexion avec des couchers de soleil incroyable. La tente était propre et confortable tout comme les espaces partagés. L’accès à pied est vraiment pas évident si vous avez des bagages, comme l’hôtel le mentionne très bien. Le prix pour venir par bateau est assez excessif mais le lieu est incroyable

• Alexandra (10/5): Traumhafte Lage und entspannte Atmosphäre mit leckerem Essen - Die Robinson Bungalows liegen an einem traumhaft schönen Strand abseits vom Trubel. Der Fußweg durch den Dschungel ist ein wenig anstrengend, aber hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt! Wir haben wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge erlebt, das Meer genossen und auf unserer Terrasse in der Hängematte gefaulenzt. Das leckere Essen, die Freundlichkeit der Betreiber, die Atmosphäre und die Lage direkt am Meer/Strand waren einfach nur toll! Leider war unser Aufenthalt viel zu schnell vorbei! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

• Clémence (9/5): - L'emplacement face à la mer de notre bungalow était exceptionnel! Le restaurant est très bon et le personnel est très sympa ! Possibilité d'utiliser les paddle gratuitement. La randonnée pour se rendre sur la Sunset Beach est un peu escarpée. Mais avec de bonnes chaussures et un bon anti moustique c'est faisable. Des travaux pas loin de notre bungalow commençaient tôt le matin mais sinon tout était parfait !

В Робинзоне предлагаются различные варианты размещения: есть номера с санузлами и душем, а есть с общественными, но чистыми и в достаточном количества. Кафе с отличным видом на море и кхмерской кухней. Все супер!

• Alessandro (10/5): Splendida disconnessione - I bungalow sono nascosti tra la fitta vegetazione che borda la bellissima spiaggia. Sistemazioni molto semplici, spartane, appena dotate di servizi essenziali. Sebastian, il proprietario che gestisce la struttura è una persona di grande amabilità e gentilezza, sempre pronto a venire incontro alle esigenze dell'ospite: con il suo staff, guidato dall'efficentissima Mao, la piacevolezza della vacanza è assicurata. Menzione speciale alla cucina: fresca, curata, espressa, mi ha fatto scoprire tutta la bontà della cucina khmer, al di fuori dai soliti locali turistici. Una delizia! Degni di menzione anche gli aperitivi di Sebastian, da sorseggiare al tramonto al beach bar..... ci vediamo il prossimo anno, grazie! Le sistemazioni sono veramente essenziali, alcune hanno la zona notte al piano superiore, raggiungibile tramite una ripida scaletta in legno. Anche per caricare il telefono le prese si trovano nella zona comune al ristorante.
• Evelyne (9/5): J’aurais aimé rester plus longtemps! - Le lieu est paradisiaque, en pleine nature et très paisible. Il y avait des cours de yoga à proximité. La nourriture est bonne et c’est parfait pour se reposer Ce n’est pas simple de s’y rendre. Il faut bien lire le message que les hôtes nous envoie car on a pris le mauvais bateau, on est arrivé au mauvais quai et il n’y avait pas beaucoup d’indications pour sur le sentier pour se rendre
• Peter (8/5): Trotz der Einschränkungen, ein sehr schöner Bungalow an einem wunderbaren Strand - Die Lage des Bungalows war an dem ruhigen Sunset Beach von uns zu gewählt worden. Die einfachen Holzbungalows entbehren jeglichem Komfort, gute Matratzen mit Moskitonetz war alles Das Licht in dem Bungalow ist mit einer kleiner 5 Watt LED nicht ausreichend. Steckdosen sucht man hier vergeblich. Laden Von Power Bank oder Handysist nur im Restaurant, zu gewissen Zeiten möglich.
• Loiseau (9/5): Petit paradis calme et déconnecté. - Petit paradis au bord de la plage. Les logements sont confortables et bien prévu. La plage porte bien son nom. La nourriture du restaurant est super bonne, que des plats Khmer mais vraiment très bons. Le personnel est adorable. Pas de Wi-Fi ! L'accès n'est pas facile, il faut marcher 40min sur la route de terre et dans la forêt. Mais l'avantage c'est qu'il y a peu de monde dans l'endroit.

• Eleanor (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at Robinson Bungalows. The beach was our favourite ever and Robinsons was the best way to experience it! The pictures don’t do it justice! We stayed in a glamping tent. It was clean and spacious and truly amazing to wake up to the sound of the waves and jump in the sea! It was a bit hot (as you’d expect) but the staff provided fans, and we slept really well! We loved the free paddle boards and enjoying a drink during happy hours before a beautifully prepared Khmer meal with lots of options on the menu. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They helped us plan our travel off the island. It is remote, and wifi is limited, which only added to the experience. The facilities are great considering the lack of infrastructure on the island and the whole experience was such good value for money. We arrived by boat from M’Pai pier and got a boat for $20 dollars direct to Sunset Beach. We just asked at the pier and they sorted it there. We left via Saracens bay to get back to the mainland. We had to walk 15 mins then got the tractor Straight to Eden pier. The walk is short but a bit tricky with big bags, but the tractor was organised through Robinsons and worked great- and was fun! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

• Lewis (10/5): - Stunning location, lovely staff, delicious food. Our bell tent was huge, right by the sea. Very comfy mattress. Perfect place to relax in sunchairs or hammocks. Great free SUPing. We did the night time kayak tour from sunset adventures next door and swam with the bioluminescent plankton, very cool. The waves were very noisy in the morning 🤣 but we still slept so well. It's a decent walk from Saracen bay, but we already knew this.

• Ludivine (8/5): - J'ai beaucoup aimé la plage ! Magnifique ! Les côtes sont très gentils ! C'est un endroit très reposant ! Ça fait très Robinson Crusoé sur notre île ! Il faut savoir qu'il y a 45 minutes de marche depuis saracen bay pour atteindre le robinson's bungalow avec 20min dans la jungle ! Pensez à prendre des baskets. Il peut faire chaud surtout qu'il y a simplement un petit ventilateur Et il ne faut pas avoir peur des bêtes ( grenouilles, moustiques dans les chambres) on est dans la jungle après tout
• Christina (9/5): - Super schöne Anlage mit viel Grün und Sitz-und Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Personal war super freundlich und das Essen -für meinen Geschmack- auch ziemlich gut. In der Gemeinschaftsdusche gab es ausreichend Haken und die Aussicht von dem Strandende fand ich auch ziemlich gut. :-) Ich hätte ein weiteres Regal oder eine Art Kleiderständer im Zelt gebrauchen können, bin aber auch so klar gekommen. :-)

• Luna (10/5): Estancia muy bonita - Me encantó la tranquilidad del lugar. Es muy bonito y con encanto y está todo muy bien cuidado. Los baños son bastante antiguos pero funcionales y siempre estaban limpios y con papel. Siempre veía a gente de mantenimiento haciendo cosas. El bungalow estaba bien. La cama era cómoda y con tela mosquitera, ya que el bungalow tiene aberturas entre las maderas y las ventanas por donde podría entrar algún bicho. No tiene enchufes pero se puede cargar el tlf a la hora del desayuno en los enchufes del restaurante. El wifi funciona a veces y muy flojo. Por lo que si necesitas trabajar con tu ordenador no es buena idea alojarte aquí. La playa es muy tranquila, pequeña y bonita, se ven unas puesta de sol muy bonitas. Desde allí se puede ir andando a Saracen beach que es una playa preciosa, muy larga para caminar y muy tranquila también. De las 5 o 6 estancias que hay en esta playa, por lo que vi, sin duda Robinson tenia el entorno natural más bonito.
• Jean (9/5): Un petit coin de paradis - L emplacement est magique mais le lieu est aussi très bien pensé et entretenu : harmonie entre la nature (arbres et nombreuses plantations) et les hébergements. Récifs tout près de la plage pour aller voir les poissons. Prêt de paddel, bons transats pour des superbes couchers du soleil et une vue aussi splendide de la terrasse du restaurant où la nourriture est délicieuse. Accueil très agréable et personnels souriant et serviable : on nous remet une lampe et un ventilateur avec batterie pour nos nuits sous tente (il fait très chaud la nuit). Toilettes et douches propres Ambiance calme et paisible. On a adoré À notre arrivée le dimanche, il y avait beaucoup de déchets plastiques sur le bord de plage mais dès le lundi une personne ratissait tôt le matin pour les ôter.
• PASCAL (9/5): Hôtel Robinson sur la plus belle plage de l'île - Hôtel simple, mais confortable avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, sûrement la plus belle plage de l'île, un restaurant magnifique avec des repas excellent, très bonne cuisine et bons cocktails. Etant assez chargé en bagages, nous avons pris un bateau de Sihanoukville vers M'Pay Bay, puis un Taxi boat de M'pay à Sunset Beach pour 5 dollars par tête. Nous avons fait une ballade et snorkeling avec un bateau dirigé et commenté par un Français et réservé par l'hôtel, un capitaine exceptionnel qui a pris son temps pour expliqué de nombreuses choses, nous avons même pêché un gros Mérou. rien

• Pietro (10/5): Best beach experience ever - Uno dei posti piu belli che ho visto in Cambogia. Spiaggia isolata, da raggiungere a piedi (fattibile!). La sensazione di scavallare la collina e raggiungere una spiaggia nascosta é impagabile. La spiaggia é ben tenuta e Robinson Bungalows é un posto magico. La struttura é ben tenuta. Il bungalow accogliente e confortevole. Gli spazi comuni stupendi. Lo staff é super gentile e simpatico, e disponibile. E poi il cibo é buonissimo. Ogni piatto una delizia!

• Federica (10/5): Perfection - I think this place is perfect. You have to earn it through a challenging trekking but once you are there you never want to leave. The bungalows are adorable, right on the most incredible beach. During the day you can hang by the bar, join activities or take a free sup. By 10pm the entire bay is perfectly quiet. • Jadín (8/5): Beatiful beach with no internet/wifi - The beach is amazing: beautiful, full of colors, and peaceful. The place is very well located, right in front of the beach. The place, and Sunset Beach in general, does not have internet or Wi-Fi, so it is not ideal if you need to work remotely. On the other hand, the bathrooms are shared, and the hotel could improve the cleaning standards.

• Irena (10/5): - It was a difficult hike, but we went 33 minutes with 3 stops for water, on the way back 25 minutes. Comfortable beds, we had a great rest. There is also a place with espresso coffee and internet, and also a place to eat with internet. The beach is beautiful and big.

• Axelle (10/5): Perfect - This was amazing! The beach is so peaceful. Slept in a tent, is was very big actually. Fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves. Restaurant has good food and there is a beach bar to enjoy a sunset beer. You can do activities such as snorkeling, paddling, yoga. Highly recommend to stay here, would have stayed a week if i could. The hike up is a work out but completely manageable. If you are looking for peace, relax and beautiful sunset, you must go. If you are looking for more activities and want to go drinking and more party, go somewhere else. Loved everything about it

• Tim (10/5): We had the best time here. - We stayed in a bungalow over looking the sea, it was gorgeous. The food is amazing, the best we’ve had in Cambodia. All the staff are super friendly and great cocktails. Just difficult to leave.
• Clara (9/5): Totale déconnexion ! - La plage est magnifique, les couchers de soleil sont incroyables. Le restaurant est excellent avec un large choix de plats locaux ! La tente était très propre et confortable et les sanitaires étaient nettoyés régulièrement. Pour finir le personnel a toujours été serviable et adorable durant mon séjour. Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas d’eau chaude dans les douches.
• Aline (9/5): - Emplacement et nourriture incroyable. Le cadre est un petit coin de paradis. La route pour venir est très compliqué. Possibilité de venir en quad depuis le port que je vous recommande fortement. Il restera 10/15 minutes de randonnée après ça.
• Elena (10/5): - Stunning location with direct access to the beach from the tent. Delicious local food at the restaurant. The perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the sea and relax. The shared toilets and showers weren't always spotless, but that’s to be expected with shared facilities.

• Agathe (10/5): - Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Robinson Bungalows. C’est vrai que ce logement se mérite un peu à l’arrivée, mais une fois sur place, on comprend immédiatement que l’effort en vaut largement la peine. La plage est tout simplement la plus belle de l’île, et très probablement le meilleur logement pour séjourner à Koh Rong Sanloem. Le cadre est idyllique, calme et parfaitement préservé. Le restaurant est délicieux. Ils prêtent également des paddles, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de la baie. Et surtout, toute l’équipe est adorable. Bref, une expérience inoubliable — nous recommandons à 100 % !

• Bruno (10/5): - It’s hard to find the right words to describe this place. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’re in paradise. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming — you immediately feel at home. The location is stunning, and going back to the city afterward felt like a real shock. The beach is beautiful, the sea is crystal clear, and the facilities are great: everything is clean, comfortable, and well thought out. Even though you sleep in a tent, you have everything you need. It’s the perfect place to truly rest, but also to enjoy a good beer by the bonfire, right between the beach and the jungle. The food at the restaurant is delicious, with a menu focused on Khmer dishes. You can easily charge your phone at the bar, and while the Wi-Fi can be a bit limited, it actually feels like part of the experience — with views like this, disconnecting is needed and easy. It really feels like paradise. I can only recommend Robinson — you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely come back. Nothing
• Patrice (9/5): Une semaine très agréable à Sunset Beach - Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement, la propreté irréprochable, la gentillesse et la serviabilité des gérants et/ou du personnel, la qualité et le choix des plats proposés au restaurant. Les prix des plats sont relativement élevés (comparés à ceux d'une île touristique de Thaïlande où j'ai séjourné récemment). Si l'on ne vient pas à pied, le coût du trajet en bateau est également élevé - 50 US$ par trajet à diviser par le nombre de passagers. Enfin, dommage que Robinson Bungalows et les autres établissements de Sunset Beach ne proposent pas de sorties organisées de snorkeling autour de l'île, ce qui limite l'expérience. Et désolé si certaines remarques ne concernent pas directement Robinson Bungalows.

• Catherine (10/5): - Lieu idyllique, sur une plage blanche en bord de jungle Nous avons expérimenté un bungalow ultra simple, pieds dans le sable et une tente tout aussi bien placée. Repas et cocktails excellents Bien lire le message d'accueil pour ne pas se tromper de compagnie maritime sous peine d'arriver du mauvais côté et là, il faut trouver l'aide d'un véhicule... Le treck jungle à ne pas entreprendre avec des sacs lourds et des tongs
• Sabrina (5/5): Paradiso solo nella mie aspettative - Natura selvaggia e silenzio La lista delle cose che hanno rovinato il mio soggiorno è così lunga che non saprei da dove iniziare e le scriveró per punti per facilitare altri viaggiatori come me ed evitare che si lascino ammaliare dal desiderio di soggiornare su una meravigliosa spiaggia con la vista sul mare cullati dalle onde.. - se non siete atletici ed il vostro zaino è pesante lasciate perdere: soltanto per raggiungere la spiaggia dove è ubicato Robinson Bungalows dovrete dapprima prendere un trattore (se disponibile sul molo di arrivo che cambia anche in base alle maree e ai venti) e poi fare un trekking di 20 minuti abbastanza faticoso e nessuno te lo spiega chiaramente in sede di prenotazione e conferma (ovviamente se volete evitare tutto questo l’unica alternativa è farvi organizzare una barca privata che dovrete pagare ca.

• Hollestelle (10/5): - The location is true paradise and the hosts are amazing. I wanted to propose to my girlfriend and they arranged the perfect setting just as a service - we loved it! We highly recommend you take the jungle walk to discover the best beach on the island. And, by the way, the snorkling here is amazing - very healthy coral and sealife!
